Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Peter Dougherty aka Moon Boots has left his cosmic footprint on the underground electronic scene over recent years, breaking through as a founding member of the influential French Express collective, before earning tastemaker plaudits for his remixes of Robyn, CHVRCHES and George Maple. Over the past 2 years he has taken his sound global with a busy touring schedule taking in some of the world’s best clubs and music festivals.

Moon Boots made his Anjunadeep debut in late 2015 with ‘Red Sky’, a cult favourite with support from Annie Mac, Skream, Jason Bentley, Jamie Jones, Gorgon City, and more. He returns to the label with ‘Tear My Heart’ feat. Lulu James, the first single to be taken from his forthcoming debut album First Landing, set for release on Anjunadeep this year. He follows in the footsteps of Dusky, Lane 8 and Cubicolor in releasing a debut LP on the acclaimed London based imprint.

Fusing Pete's love of classic US house sounds with Lulu’s soulful flair, ‘Tear My Heart’ is full of warm low-end and textured melodies beneath Lulu’s bright, passionate vocals. Stay tuned for a remix package featuring Marquis Hawkes and Justin Jay.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]If you search for the ultimate Valentine's Day tune don't miss the opportunity to offer to your loved one the latest anthem by Moon Boots featuring the soulful vocals by Lulu James. The track is smooth late night deep house with electronic synthy melodies upon the classic old school grooves, drums and garage house basslines. The result is a magnificent record that references deep house from the past but in  a very futuristic warm and sensual way so if you choose the vocal version with Lulu passionate performance or the instrumental one, you can be rest assured that at the end Tear My Heart will reach the top of your daily playlists. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Bastille is an absolutely stunning band that doesn't afraid to take the chances and seize the opportunities with incredible first album and great  singles like Good Grief. On Flux BPM Online we focus on the dance remixes included in the package and the truth is that both remixers did their best to impress the crowds in clubs and festivals. Firstly the beloved legend of house MK provides his deep tech house version that includes the full vocals and that signifies how versatile and dance friendly are Dan's vocal performance. Superb irresistible groove, sparkling hypnotic rhythm, classic house organ riffs, melancholic piano chords and cinematic strings makes this an audio ride that you don't wanna miss. You  better sing a long with  hands in the air as the build up is intense and the drop will make you dance or your money back. The Dutch superhero Don Diablo comes with an excellent uplifting future house with rave house elements. Spanking grooves, punchy old school basslines and uplifting piano chords along with ravey stabs makes his remix the ultimate party tool. The vocal shines and the beats are ready for mainstage performances. Remixes not to be missed, #PureGold Love it [/content]

Adam F, Kokiri & Rae have revealed the three remixes of their forthcoming single ‘Harmony'.

The first comes courtesy of Kideko, alongside regular collaborator and friend George Kwali. The pair’s previous collaboration, ‘Crank It’ received heavy support from Annie Mac, quickly becoming an instantly recognisable dance floor hit. They’ve applied a similar approach to their rework of Adam F, Kokiri and Rae’s track ‘Harmony’, adding a bouncing bassline, skipping hi-hats and garage-style synth notes to Rae’s soaring vocals for a catchy, four-to-the-floor take on the record.

Garage legend MJ Cole has also stepped up to add his touch to ‘Harmony’. A slow intro focusing on Rae’s original vocals leads into a fast-paced house bassline coupled with cascades of synths, complimenting the chopped-up vocal samples from the original.

Third remix comes courtesy of Brighton-based duo The Prototypes, whose high-octane sound catapulted them into the spotlight back in 2010. Since then, they’ve had several hit records, released a debut album, completed world tours, scored music for a film, had 8 Beatport no1s in a row and launched their own label. Their version of ‘Harmony’ builds up the tempo of the original, pairing strong piano chords and Rae’s vocals with a powerful drum and bass beat and dramatic breakdown.

‘Harmony’ is the result of the meeting of three differing musical minds; Adam F, the mastermind behind legendary drum n bass track ‘Circles’ on Positiva, has since gone on to win a MOBO award for his album ‘Colours’, had a hit with Dizzee Rascal, and founded Breakbeat Kaos Records alongside DJ Fresh - with whom he collaborated to produce ‘Believer’. Consistently diversifying and pushing his musical skills, Adam F has even worked on film scores, and co-wrote the top line for Secondcity’s no1 hit ‘I Wanna Feel’.

Meanwhile, 25 year-old Liverpudlian Kokiri, whose debut on tastemaker label Love & Other ‘Retrospect’ was championed by Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard, has already played a number of high-profile gigs at XOYO, Ministry of Sound, Egg and Ibiza Rocks despite still being relatively new to the scene. He is also a remixer in hot demand: in the last year alone, he has turned in reworks for the likes of Craig David, WSTRN, Tough Love and Wilkinson.

Rae, writer and featured vocalist, is in fact also a DJ, remixer and producer with a long history in the house music scene; her debut release was as lead vocalist and songwriter on Kings of Tomorrow’s 2008 anthem ‘Can’t Stop’ on Defected Records, whilst her most recent hit was as vocalist on ‘Take Me Away’ last year with SKT. Despite their differences, it’s clear that the trio share the same ear for production; ’Harmony’ showcases each of their skills to great effect.

About Nothing Else MattersNothing Else Matters is the new record label founded by BBC radio 1 DJ and former BBC colleague Nigel Harding. It launched in huge style with 99 Souls’s hit ‘The Girl Is Mine’, and has since followed up with a mixture of both underground and radio-friendly releases, as well as a big event at London’s The Steelyard.
Danny said about the label: “Everyday I’m discovering new tracks and extremely talented artists. Aside from supporting them on air and on the dancefloor, I’ve always wanted a way in which I can help even more people hear these incredible sounds.”

 [item value="10"] Adam F & Kokiri feat Rae -  Harmony[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The awesome Harmony is the new single by the legend Adam F with the upcoming talent Kokiri featuring the incredible singer  Rae and comes with two very tasty remixes. The original mix is majestic slow moving futuristic drum n bass track with early 90's rave infusions that will please the older ravers and the new generations as well. The strongest asset of the single is the fantastic Rae voice that is so powerful and crystal clear that simply awakes your senses and make you wanna sing a long and dance instantly. For the house floors two super funky remixes perfect for summer beach parties. Firstly Kideko & George Kwali remix is melodic deep future house version with classic deep chunky grooves, Ibiza style organ riffs and old school ravey synthy stabs. The vocal once again shines and inspires you to sing a long and let the night take the blame. MJ Cole remix is an excellent  updated of the so well known worldwide UK speed garage sound but in modern futuristic terms with tech house influences and great cool vocal snippets along with the melodic synthy riffs coming and going  creating that pleasurable vibe to uplift you instantly. Third remix by The Prototypes is an excellent addition as the Brighton based artists add their energetic drum n bass sound with very uplifting piano melody at the top and the excellent vocal shinning on top. If you like floating and tripping out in the fast lane then this remix will be appropriate for you!  It sounds UK Top 40 to me. #PureGold Love iT.[/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The massive deep house anthem Runnin by  Low Steppa feat. Kelli-Leigh strikes back with additional remixes. Low Steppa  Remix is a superb slice of UK modern speed garage house with minimal grooves and basslines while some xylophone melodies are added along with distorted vocal snippets. Echoes & Knight remix moves towards the trap/dub step direction with break beats, aggressive basslines, moody synths and vocal snippets running throughout. LO'99 remix is quite experimental 2 step version with swirling synths, lazy slow groove and vocals to keep the crowd singing along.  Wez Saunders brings his tech house recipe and the result is a delicious nutritious dish that will get the clubbers moving and shaking instantly. Truly infectious late night sexy beats for the summer beach parties. Scott Diaz version is speed meets future house version with acid basslines and a lot of playful minimal arrangement to keep the underground vibes flowing! #PureHouse Love It[/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Disclosure are back with their offering for the summer. Firstly is Feel Like I Do sampling the legend Al Green. The result is a magnificent sugar sweet soulful deep house record perfect for lazy Sunday afternoon and summer barbecue parties. Moog For Love with Eats Everything is another example of their artistry with strong application of samples with tribal techy grooves, deep funky basslines and cool atmosphere that keep it firmly underground so I can see the smile on some anti-mainstream djs who will adore playing it. BOSS is definitely an excellent deep house banger with old school influences and the very creative application of the very addictive distorted vocal sample. Bouncy garage infused basslines, chunky playful grooves and vintage synths. It sounds like that BOSS will be the single that can crossover to the bigger public and get the radio audiences grabbing it easily. #PureGold Love It [/content]

A precociously talented individual, MNEK started making songs when he was just 9-years-old, before signing his first publishing deal five years later. Able to deconstruct and re-build pop, R&B and dance in a way most mere mortals can’t, his songwriting, production and vocal skills have been sought out by everyone from The Saturdays (on two Xenomania-assisted singles) to Rudimental (Spoons/Common Emotion); from Duke Dumont (Need U (100%)) to Little Mix (album highlight, Nothing Feels Like You); from Bondax (All I See) to Kylie Minogue (Feels So Good); from Shadow Child (Climbin’ (Piano Weapon)) to Karen Harding (Say Something) to a certain Madonna. In 2016 Beyoncé also used his services as songwriter as MNEK co-wrote “Hold Up” for her album LEMONADE.

No stranger to chart success, he co-wrote Oliver Heldens’ UK number 1 single Gecko and hit Last All Night (Koala) and crashed into the Top 5 with the deep house majesty of Gorgon City collaboration, Ready For Your Love (which he co-wrote and sang). Not only that but he’s also been working with the crop of UK talent, producing for and co-writing with Clean Bandit, Chris Malinchak, Naughty Boy, Lianne Las Havas and many others.

But his talents don’t just stop at creating musical mastery for other people. Versatile enough to play about with deep house one minute, pure pop the next and R&B bangers as and when he feels like it, MNEK’s also primed to properly take over as a solo artist following recent singles Every Little Word and the elastic, low-slung future R&B of the Radio One play listed follow-up, Wrote A Song About You. With an artistic vision for the album already in place, he’s also ventured out into the live arena, playing a myriad of summer festivals and three sold-out shows in London. MNEK achieved his first Top 40 single with ‘The Rhythm’ which also rose high in the club charts. His EP ‘Small Talk’, featuring all of his singles including ‘The Rhythm’, plus a couple of new tracks, was released in March 2015.

On the 3rd September MNEK announced his brand new single, Never Forget You with Swedish pop star Zara Larsson. The single premiered on the 10th September as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1 and to date has been certified Platinum in the UK, x3 Platinum in Sweden, x2 Platinum in Australia and Denmark and Platinum in Norway. It has amassed over 200 million Spotify Streams and 110 Million video views. “Never Forget You” also had a stellar run in the US where it has been certified GOLD, reached the number 1 spot on the Dance Billboard chart for two consecutive weeks and has become a top 10 hit on the national airplay chart.

On the 13th May 2016 MNEK premiered his latest single “At Night (I Think About You)” on Annie Mac’s radio 1 show which named it her Hottest Record in the World.

Now At Night get the remix treatment by Blonde who deliver Club and Vip mixes. Both mixes move on the deep soulful house direction with early 90's references, magical warm strings and great romantic piano melody that works without trying too much. Steve Smart provides two alternative remixes as well. His Finale remix is very melodic with atmospheric intro and new piano melodies with certain nu disco foundation that is playful and danceable with the right pop sensibility. His club mix is deeper with romantic pianos, driving deep minimal basslines, tropical house grooves, xylophone melodies and colourful feel good synths washing out the pain and  bringing pleasure only.   [content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]We deal here with an interesting hybrid that combines elements of garage house with future house and progressive with cool spoken vocal sample upon that dirty sleazy groove and old school speed garage like bassline that seems to work perfectly and keep the dancefloor pumping. Underground house at its best. Love It [/content]

A long-time Anjunadeep favourite, Paul Beckwith follows up the excellent “Anandia EP” with another fine showcase of his garage-tinged New York sound, on the irresistible “Take Me Home”.

Bringing his low-slung, funk-driven approach to the floor, this time collaborating with Natalie Conway - after her work with Finnebassen and Sonny Fodera. Fiery low-end groove and soulful vocals injected with trademark Beckwith melody, this one’s got the lot.

Fellow New Yorker MANIK takes over remix duties, dirtying up the original with a tough punchy groove, raw bass and flecks of acid.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunadeep is all about diversity and sonic surprises that simply make you scream with joy whenever you check their brand new releases. The latest one will definitely satisfy those who adore the modern take on deep house but with some strong traditional deep house elements. Beckwith returns with his classy dark sexy sinful and lustful track Take Me Home featuring the stunning vocals by the house diva Natalie Conway. The original mix is great attempt to re-envisage USA soulful house through the prism of the current 90's revival house with old  school basslines, classic organ riffs that recall Ibiza or sunny Miami parties by the beach. The piano melody is simply infectious so expect to get addicted to it very easily. Hypnotic mysterious and tailor made for late night sets Take Me Home proves once again that real house is still alive and moving. MANIK is on remix duties and as you can suspect he embarks on his own journey that is absolutely mindboggling with aggressive deep bassline, superb techy in your face groove and chopped vocal parts used creatively and smashed around in order to become more like decoration on the top of the delightful tribal sounds that MANIK deliver in his futuristic soundspheres. #PureClass Love It

Dimitri Kechagias review: Black Butter records creates waves of interest with quality releases that for some may sound watered down and for others can be true gems that offer new breath of life in the electronic music scene. The new release by Elderbrook will definitely attract your attention straight away particularly if you watch the very unique music video that highlight the beauty that is this track. The original mix is an electronic adventure of sounds with retro sounding male vocals, lazy grooves underneath and cinematic atmosphere to drift away to the magical soundscapes that Elderbrook builds so skillfully for us. The Six remix turns the original into a very danceable deep house affair with 90's revival garage house sound, additional vocal samples and upfront atmosphere that will make it instantly a future favorite. If you like it glam or sleazy underground this release has everything for any taste so better Press Play! The second track of his top EP Simmer Down is the magnificent How Many Times. With retro romantic touches and haunting vocals the track manage to crawl under your skin easily and touch your soul straight away. The beloved duo from Germany add their deep hypnotic grooves, pulsating deep basslines and superb piano melodies along with cinematic strings to create their own music sound sphere that is simply eargasmic and super sugar sweet. House legend and Rinse FM resident Shadow Child has teamed up with Doorly on new single ‘Climbing (Piano Weapon)’, which is now available to stream on Soundcloud. Following a premiere on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show, the new vocal version of 'Piano Weapon' (co-written by MNEK) will be released by Polydor Records this November. Following a run of remixes for big names such as Hot Natured, London Grammar and most recently Duke Dumont, Shadow Child is currently working on original material and playing a run of live dates in Ibiza and across the UK including a London show supporting the legendary Groove Armada.

Simon Neale’s darker, bass-heavy alter ego Shadow Child was born in 2012 with the signing of his bassline house classic ‘String Thing’ to Dirtybird Records. Championed across the world by DJs including Annie Mac, Jamie Jones and Eats Everything, Shadow Child’s early house tracks have attracted a global fan base. Now playing the closing shows on his Summer 2014 tour, Shadow Child will be hitting the studio to complete his debut full-length release. Until then, head to Soundcloud to stream ‘Piano Weapon’ and get stuck into his Rinse FM guest mix series featuring the biggest names in UK house.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Lets welcome one of the big future hits that has all the potential to take the UK Top 40 by storm and reach the number 1 position. Shadow Child collaborates with Doorly for the stunning back 2 basics house beauty Climbin. The excellent house diva style vocals with the optimistic feel good lyrics will give you happiness and enjoyment instantly. The massive old school piano chords give you shivers straight away and crawl easily under your skin. Climbin is based on 90's garage house movement and sounds romantic and fresh at the same time. Nicky Night Time remix is a wonderful deep house interpretation with superb breakdown and build up that will increase intensity and energy levels to the maximum. Kry Wolf remix is dark moody tech house interpretation with tribal house grooves, old school organ riffs, xylophone percussive melodies and superb flow that carry away the listener and easily keep you locked in its hypnotic atmosphere. The piano melody is here to blow you away with some just some parts of the vocal to allow the listener to focus on the music and melodies and less on words. Maison Sky is a powerful techno version with pounding drums, mechanical sharp basslines and the killer piano riff in the breakdown really understated without any vocal input. Thalab remix starts with cool melodic intro and stretched down vocals while the main section is deep dream house with nice guitar riffs, percussive melodies and laid back summery atmosphere. Last but not least Toyboy & Robin deliver their 90's revival meets UK garage version with strong electronic elements as well. The main piano theme is slightly changed and sounds more classical and less soulful that gives it an interesting creative twist! House classic in the making guaranteed. #PureGold Love IT

"Reckoning Song - One Day", the remix to the song by Asaf Avidan gave Wankelmut not only in Germany, but in Europe a name in the dance scene. With over 1.5 million-selling singles and 125 million clicks on YouTube Wankelmut delivered the anthem for the summer soundtrack of 2012.

Since then a lot has happened to the DJ and producer from Berlin. From renowned electronic music magazine GROOVE he was awarded "Newcomer of the Year". In particular, the entertaining and musical diversity between deep house and techno, Wankelmut presented as part of his DJ sets, earned him a respected and recognized status in the Electronic Music and DJ Scene

In April 2013 Wankelmut published  his single "My Head Is A Jungle". Supported by the Australian singer / songwriter Emma Louise the track immediately conquered  the European charts and in Germany manage with "My Head Is A Jungle" to reach the Top 30 of the singles chart. Especially the remix of the American House Music Legend MK aka Mark Kinchen was celebrated not only by critics. In Ibiza, the song in the summer of 2013 was one of the most played tracks in the club.

This summer is now following the re-release of the single with another MK remixes. MKs timeless House pianos are made for the catchy track "My Head Is A Jungle". The classic MK Dub completes this remix package with confidence.

After the track has been picked from the BBC Radio 1 B-list and watched the video more than six million times on YouTube, and was played on Soundcloud over 3.7 million times, "My Head Is A Jungle" in UK reached number 5 in the official charts! An incredible success!

With a total of 6 tracks of the MK remix of "My Head Is A Jungle" was published on 15/08/2014 and promises to be the next summer hit for Wankelmut . He can be seen and heard live the new remixes and also the last single "Wasted So Much Time" feat. John Lamonica, in the next few months at various festivals, including the "First we take Berlin - Festival", the "Fermaz Festival" in La Coruna and the "Sunscpae Festival" in Gozo.

Dimitri Kechagias remixes: The history of electronic music tracks that manage to crossover and reach the high positions in the mainstream charts proves that always a particular remix manage to support certain underground track to enter the rotation of radio stations and from there to become massive success stories. The same applies for Wankelmut with his magnificent My Head Is A Jungle featuring the infectious ethereal vocals by Emma Luise who has that retro sounding romantic voice that casts a spell on you. The beloved MK did what he can do best at the moment by transforming the moody esoteric track into an upbeat deep garage house USA style version with happy old school pianos, chunky grooves, funky basslines and great atmosphere in the breakdown. He applies the vocals in the most efficient way and the result of this remix to reach the number 5 at UK Top 40 and he deserves even more higher in my opinion too. The package includes additional remixes that move within the deep house retro 90's revival sound with Area 10 being the more atmospheric with long breakdowns and slightly edited parts, The MK remix appeared already on the first package and the tone of the piano melody is a bit different than the Area 10 version as it sounds a bit  darker and moody despite the piano that cheer the listener instantly. For those who adore dubs and more underground sounding versions the package includes fantastic dubs, My Head is A Dub UK remix is rougher and bit more aggressive with old school rave style synths, chopped vocal samples and punchy basslines. The MK Trouble remix is the cool MK remix minus the full vocal with romantic piano melodies and great hypnotic flow of all the elements. #PureGold Love iT

After just the whole hip-hop world has turned upside down with his "Innanetape" mixtape last year, Vic Mensa, Chicago's latest rap export his official debut single "Down On My Luck" at Virgin EMI! Vic unwraps his ultra casual flow in this case over a driving dance beat, he pushes again the boundaries of hip-hop genre but simultaneously provides a track from which is acted and not without reason as clubhit candidate!

The new single was formed when Vic Mensa was just with UK dance sensation Disclosure on U.S. tour, which would also explain the driving dancefloor impact. He also won as a co-producer Stefan Ponce, the DJ of Childish Gambino, into the boat.

"Down On My Luck", which already was number 1 in the Hype Machine charts and in UK by the likes of Zane Lowe Radio show is the first foretaste of Vic Mensa's upcoming EP "Street Lights".

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the hottest new trends is of course the mixture of  rap and hip hop with electronic dance music  to create something completely new that sounds superb in the house clubs as well. It reminds me the way that many rappers were using back in the days Kraftwerk songs like Afrika Bambaataa did with big success and revolutionise the development and evolution of dance music. Vic Mensa has the voice and the talent to tell his notorious stories with his lyrics and to carry the listener away. The exceptional dance foundation is perfect for the current invasion of deep house/ garage sounds in the mainstream charts. The remix package is very strong with Zoo Station servicing an exceptional deep techy groovy bouncy version with cool electronic influences, old school synths and superb application of the vocal that sounds pretty at home. Very danceable, sexy and absolutely irresistible is the kind of futuristic eclectic house that is very difficult to stand still when is played out! Last but not least Zed Bias delivers his very British garage sounding remix with long intro that builds excitement until to land on that funtastic, action packed main body of twisted beats, chunky basslines, soulful melodies, stretched vocals and great late night atmosphere! Super strong package of top mixes. Love iT

Rooted in the deep house productions that soundtrack her global DJ sets, Fresh Heartbreak is a soul tinged house groove for the most discerning dancefloors, with Vula providing her distinctive and captivating vocal delivery.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The legendary imprint Strictly Rhythm presents another must have retro deep tech house classic. Dj Lora meets the lovely singer Vula Malinga for the super sexy Fresh Heartbreak. Stylish house groover with funky rhyth, chunky cranky beats with old school feel to it. Cool synthy melodies keep the track dark and underground with UK garage house atmosphere that is super sexy and sparkling of course.
