London based duo Newell & Willem have a #138 scorcher up their sleeves with ‘Whitechapel’, named after the London borough where the track was conceived. Blowing out the cobwebs with a scorching acid line, ‘Whitechapel’ takes no prisoners from the outset & the simple-but-effective arpeggiated synth magic is unveiled at the break. Hot.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings continue the legacy of high class trance releases with the explosive super banger WhitechapelDuncan Newell and Lee Van Willem collaborate to deliver an awesome production that will keep you with your eyes and mouth wide open as it is pure joy for any trance fanatic. Banging driving rough basslines, razor sharp acid overtones and thumping drums push the adrenaline levels to the limit. The breakdown is relaxing, calming and truly magical with excellent sounddesign. The main synthy lead recalls classic trance anthems from the past and can bring devastation and furry on the dancefloor. The crescendo moment is anthemic, hands in the air and epic to the maximum with fantastic melodies and feel good themes that uplift your spirit and it is not exaggeration to say that give you the sense of flying as skydiver into the unknown. #PureGold 10/10 Love It

Outer Pulse are two brothers from Venuzuela & have garnered a loyal fanbase with their warm, organic bassline-driven meticulously layered & unique sound. First up is ‘Ethereal Glyph’, taken from Solarstone’s ‘Electronic Architecture 3’ compilation. It’s deep, sultry undertones, ethereal vocals & minor chord changes make this one for those long, sweaty heads-down #138bpm club nights. On the flip side & the uplifting tip is ‘Gravity Lights’, where gated pads & a glistening lead synth-line are thrust into the spotlight.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings strikes it lucky with the brand new ep of the upcoming Latin America forces Outer Pulse. The tracks Ethereal Glyph and Gravity Lights are able to energise your senses but at the same time to relax your body and encourage you to be alert but hypnotised at the same time. Gravity Lights is certainly a magnificent anthem with straight forward arrangement and superb melody that  manage to attract your attention and after its constant repetition to crawl under your skin and put a stamp in your heart. Emotional journey that is worth enjoying and experiencing from start to finish. Ethereal Glyph is an interesting uplifting production with mesmerising heavenly vocals upon the emotional melodies and the psy tech trance kicks and basslines. The main big breakdown comes quite earl y with wide variety of emotional synthy plucks and beautiful piano riffs along with exotic ethnic style themes and breakbeat sequence that travel your mind and prepare your body for the coming of the big electronically infused feel good euphoric climax! #PureGold Love It

Beach X is a Finnish production team comprising of Anssi Hohti (Allende), Kimmo Holopainen (Dj Holle), Pekko Haimi (Neon Tracks, Our Stolen Theory) & Janne Turunen (Dj Radiac). This record is a cover of the 2007 single by Cherry Ghost. Originally a ballad, when placed in the hands of singer Julie Jones this fragile song becomes a soaring trance beauty, with all the right uplifting and emotive ingredients to rouse any hard heart.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings is one of the finest trance labels around with great releases so far that are decided by the legend Solarstone. The brand new track is the recreation of a beloved track from the past into an uplifting trance anthem. When we witness through the eyes of our tv channels so many refugees asking for a place to stay and the answer is to raise fences against them to keep them away from us means that certainly something is going wrong and the message of this track is widely needed. People Help The People by Beach X features on vocals the so sweet and so emotional Julie Jones performing the so inspirational lyrics that we hope our politicians to listen very carefully and decide to help the people. It's such a shame to be called humans when we witness so inhumane situations. And we all know who is the real enemy to blame behind these people who are leaving their safety of their homes and break up from their beloved friends and families. The track is straight forward high class trancer with solid pounding drums, punchy energetic basslines and great hands in the air colourful synths that will inspire you to come closer and love each other. Thanks Touchstone for such a wonderful release. #PureGold Love it

‘Deliverance’, the work of French producer Emilie de Fouchecour, was originally released way back in 2003 on Dutch label Cyber Records. This evocative & tranced out, near-as-dammit 11-minute piece has garnered legendary status with lovers of authentic deep & progressive trance music. Now, one of the modern progressive scenes glimmering stars, Arizona’s Forerunners (aka Brenden LaBonte) has gently teased this seminal record into a 2015 format. Respecting the integrity & mood of the original, the Forerunners Remix takes us on a near-as-dammit 10 minute excursion into the the very soul of progressive trance, progressive house, call it what you will. Of course, it goes without saying that Nugen’s Original Mix has been lovingly remastered for this release, ready take you once again on trip either down memory lane (if you’re old enough) or on a lesson into why this music was, and is, so culturally important. Sublime.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label Touchstone recordings strikes back with another stunning emotional trance release called Deliverance by Bugen. The original remastered version is the perfect excuse to let all the inhibitions go and lost yourself into the deep trance sound that despite from being so many years back it still sounds fresh and relevant to the new audiences. The real deal here is the Forerunners remix. We all know by now that Forerunners is capable to deliver stunning music and on this particular one he did magnificent job as he adds superb deep pounding driving haunting basslines, rolling chunky tribal groove and superb dark synthy hooks along with cool vocal snippets. The result is deep emotive imaginative creative trance that avoids to be simplistic or formulaic. It has that experimental artistic feel to it that makes it definitely one that will magnetise your ears to the speakers for sure. You know the score when a record has the approval of mr Pure Trance Rich Solarstone. #PureGold Love It

Adeline is a massive helping of 128bpm sample-stuttering, acidically bubbling, aggressive riff-building, immaculately produced atmospheric trance music, complete with a dose of ethereal and haunting instrumentation at the break and a grinding menacing synth riff dropping at the payoff. Kicking.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most consistent progressive trance producers is back on Touchstone recordings. Future Disciple delivers his magnificent anthem Adeline. The track is an excellent slice of modern progressive trance with great pumping basslines, techy bouncy rolling drums and great breakdown with exotic magical atmosphere that leads to the  best part of the track that is of course the well produced climax that is packed with electroish synths, euphoric themes, heavenly melodies and exotic instruments. The results is truly classy and eclectic and particularly those who may still search for substance and purity in progressive trance this record will definitely make you feel energetic and you will be transferred to the next level and that is not a hype is a reality just let the music guide you and the rest will follow. #PureGold Love iT

Don't miss this fabulous EP of deep, progressive trance music! Brenden LaBonte a.k.a. Forerunners has released a steady stream of immersive and unique tracks over the past 8 years, with remixes on various Solarstone labels. Something of an enigma as an artist, this Arizona based producer is definitely in the ‘quality over quantity’ camp. This EP contains 3 pieces of the finest progressive trance music that you’re likely to hear this year, where the focus is on the slow build, the journey, where filters ebb and flow, layers creep to the front then withdraw, where the percussion is hypnotic and the synths repetitive, and the melody draws the listener in with its subtlety, rather than a crass fanfare. It’s either early night material for big trance rooms, or peak time material for intelligent progressive floors – spun by DJ’s who know how to work a room. This is what progressive trance music is all about.

Solarstone :"I’ve been a fan of Forerunners since 2007, and Brenden La Bonte’s recent return with such a deep & beautiful sound makes me happy. I think the next 24 months are going to see the Forerunners come to the fore. Really pleased to have him on board the Touchstone Recordings label!"

Forerunners:" I believe there's something more meaningful to be discovered within music that gradually builds from the ground up, and the listener is rewarded with greater satisfaction and sense of appreciation because of that journey they've taken. Think about the impact of listening to your favorite album or DJ mix from beginning to end in one sitting, versus a 3 minute single on the radio...you have made an intimate connection to the music that will stick with you forever."

His latest release, the stunning 'Watching The Lights Go Down', definitely sticks with you: bit.ly/TSR032_BP

Seven Sages’ is one of the prime cuts from Solarstone’s critically acclaimed Electronic Architecture 3, and is the work of Greece’s Haris Vasiloglue aka Basil O’Glue. Leading the charge is one of 2015’s tips-for-the-top Liam Wilson with a slamming #140 remix, a brilliant re-imagining of the original with mesmeric techy twists & turns perfectly programmed for those strobe-pulsed club moments. Solarstone’s fine-tuned EA3 Reconstruction - a 128bpm deep progressive trance journey - strips down the original mix to its core components for maximum impact. Next up is the original mix from Basil O’Glue wherefrom all this magic is gleaned. A ‘Slow’ version exists for afterhours chill sessions and finally a handy Radio Edit is included.

Dimitri Kechagias review: When Solarstone chooses exclusive tracks for his critically aclaimed compilation series Electronic Architecture you know that must be the highest quality. Touchstone recordings presents the full release of the exclusive anthem Seven Sages by the one and only Basil O'Glue. One of the coolest representatives of the esoteric dark moody Coldharbour sound with one of his most accomplished tracks. The package includes the original and the superb EA3 Reconstruction by Solarstone. Both versions move on that dark intelligent sci-fi infused trance sound with deep haunting basslines, pulsating grooves, chorus voices and industrial melodies along with ambient soundscapes and influences from classic synthesizer pioneers. Quality from start to finish that for me signifies the true spirit of what trance should be and serves perfectly the goal to hypnotise the crowd on the clubfloor. Liam Wilson from Manchester has the mission to transform the original into prime time weapon and as it sounds he manage to achieve his aspiration to create a mindblaster for the peak time moments of your uplifting trance sets. With psy tech trance infusions, aggressive basslines and pounding grooves by making excellent use of the original elements within the uplifting style this remix is definitely one of the coolest for Liam and will please the pure trance saviours as well. The package includes the calming esoteric and melancholic slow version too for those coming down after party hours. #PureGold Love It

1. Fadi & Mina Remix

Philthy Chit (a.k.a. Glasgow’s Dr. Philip Taylor) has been serving up generous helpings of his thoroughbred progressive house (in the truest sense) and progressive trance tracks for a few years now on labels like Bonzai, Green Martian and Saturate Audio. Colours, our first offering from Dr. Chit is gleaned from the tracklist of Solarstone’s critically acclaimed Electronic Architecture 3, and in it’s Original Mix is a widescreen 128bpm bass-bin-shaking slice of melodic prog-trance loveliness. Solarstone’s EA3 Reconstruction is also included here, which tweaks the knobs and arrangement a little without ruffling anyone’s feathers. Egypt’s Fadi & Mina turn the dials on the remix for the peak time trance floors – no frills, just slamming uplifting trance. A little extra for downtempo chilling is the Slow version.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings is the beloved record label headed by Rich Solarstone with quality releases so far. The stream of high class trance continues with the uplifting euphoric trance anthem Colours by Philthy Chit well known for his deep haunting progressive house meets trance style. At the moment in my hands I have only the Fady & Mina remix that is absolutely stunning. The top Egyptian duo presents their very powerful version that is full on straight to the point uplifting trance with all the basic elements that you may wish to find in a solid tight arranged banger. Tough metallic basslines and rough techy grooves drive the track slowly to the magnificent breakdown that emotional colourful themes are slowly revealed to bring calmness and reassurance that we are on safe hands. The summery Ibiza style synthy chords are coming next along with heavenly voices to uplift your spirit to a higher place. The intensity rises as the swirling synths appear to push adrenaline to the limit and assist the incredible rough build up with the classic drum roll to the full on hands in the air climax that epic anthemic synths, cinematic strings and fantastic optimistic rhythm carry us on board for an unforgettable journey in a world of Colours! #PureGold Love It

Leander Rispens’ releases are infrequent, but always worth searching out. The Dutch producer has previously released on Solarstone’s Electronic Architecture series as well as labels like Bonzai, Solaris & Unearthed. ‘Horizons’ in its ‘Original Mix’ format is a warm & emotional yet understated ride through the sound of organic, Balearic trance music. Leading the charge of this package though is Dan Stone’s storming 138bpm uplifting remix, which featured as an ID in Solarstone’s FSOE350 NYC set, causing a flurry of interest. Also included is Solarstone’s own ‘Retouch’ that originally featured on the Pure Trance Vol. 2 album (in edited form & now here in full length) and wrapping up this bundle is a neat nu-skool breaks interpretation from Bangladesh’s Nafeu Nasir aka Phrakture.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label Touchstone recordings continues to deliver the goods and giving trance music a good name. The first release for 2015 is the excellent Horizons by Aerium. The track is included already on Pure Trance vol.2 but is never released in its full length. The single includes the mesmerising original, the full version of Solarstone's retouch mix, uplifting remix by Dan Stone and the excellent futuristic Phrakture remix that will introduce the track to a whole new audience. First of all the original mix is a deep haunting moody progressive trancer that starts with chill out intro and quite aggressive unpleasant noise. Slowly from within the noise storm comes the bubbly basslines and the chunky grooves that take us on board for a magnificent journey of the senses. The breakdown reveals the magnificent main melody along with the cinematic spoken vocal sample. The climax is absolutely mouthwatering as it combines deep darkness with the optimistic tones of this unforgettable synthy hook. Its great trance set opener if you like to create sonic journeys that start from the very deep and reach the full on crescendo as I do in my radio shows. Solarstone retouch mix transforms the original into a beautiful driving energetic high class composition with hi-nrg basslines, pumping drums and classic synthy layers. The breakdown is the moment that this earthshaking melody appears to give you goosebumps and make you feel totally rejuvenated. Its the perfect time to do your swimming style dancing on the trancefloor and let yourself totally lost it in its colourful sound spheres. If you consider that this version is one years old we can definitely say that Solarstone music sounds always fresh and current.  Dan Stone pushes the track in his well known Anjunabeats old school trance style packed with banging bouncy beats, metallic driving basslines and excellent application of the magical thought provoking original melody. Synthy heaven that will please your senses and will cause multiple eargasms on the dancefloor so expect to hear a lot of moaning going on. Hands stay in the air and smile on your face particularly in his climax that he pitches up the original synthy hook in order to add more punch and energy to the proceedings. Lastly Phrakture delivers his stunning version which sounds perfect for Cafe del Mar style compilations with spacey sounds combined with organic elements, quitar riffs, pianos and orchestral strings on the top of the breaks grooves that will travel your mind to faraway Horizons. #PureGold Love It

Originally released on the now defunct DeepBlue Recordings, ‘Velvet Sun’ was one of former label boss Solarstone’s favorite signings. Now newly signed to Touchstone Recordings, we presents two slamming new mixes of this former ASOT favorite ‘Velvet Sun’ from Australia’s Majera, as a precursor to his forthcoming album ‘Tomorrow Never Was’. First up is Moonsouls, who pull no punches in their delivery of a ‘tear-in-the-eye’ euphoric arm-raiser. Next comes the UK’s James Rigby, who’s serotonin-infused hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck-raiser of a mix ramps up the BPMs and injects ‘Velvet Sun’ with some 2014 finery. Both new mixes retain the original 2007 release’s melodic blueprint while lavishing it with of-the-moment pin-sharp production.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The magnificent Majera at the beginning of December is about to release his first album on Touchstone recordings and now is the time for a very special treat. His all time trance favourite production Velvet Sun returns in 2014 with brand new remixes that you simply can not afford to miss.  First of all the magnificent Moonsouls proves why he is considered to be one of the brightest stars in the uplifting trance scene by reshaping and transforming the original into a highly addictive uplifting euphoric beauty with exotic vocals and great application of the unforgettable original theme that once you hear it, you know that will keep it inside your heart forever as it will always resonate and remind you of moments of the absolute euphoria. Piano melodies and superb synthy work upon the confident drums and energetic basslines ensure total domination on the dancefloor with hands in the air and big smile in our faces. On the other side James Rigby associated with that dark UK trance sound he delivers an excellent full on euphoric hands in the air version with tougher metallic kicks, aggressive basslines, acid touches and of course the summery sunkissed synthy riff that gives you instant goosebumps. Two quality remixes that will satisfy your hunger for high class arrangement and straight to the point trance purity! #PureGold Love It

About: Over the last 2 and a ½ years, in quick succession, Solarstone’s Touchstone Recordings have delivered some 30 DJ-champed singles outings to the scene. In the summer of 2014 that was crowned by the release of the label’s debut compilation album - the Walsh & McAuley mixed ‘Touchstone Recordings Vol. 1’. Now Solarstone is delighted to deliver another next-step in the label’s progression. ‘Tomorrow Never Was’ marks the first artist album release in Touchstone’s compact yet illustrious history and sees Engin ‘Majera’ Ogutveren deliver an 11-track-strong body of music to the label’s door.

The Australian’s most recent EP release ‘Till We Meet Again’/’Remember When’ drew a pantheon of heavyweight spinning support, lit up the Beatport chart, generated a stellar fan reaction & bagged a 9/10 DJ Mag UK Single of Month review.

With his leitmotif of wistfully, enigmatically titled (and sounding) tracks, Melbourne’s Majera now cultivates that singles success into a trance/progressive/trance-progressive tipped long-player. ‘Tomorrow Never Was’ is an album that will enrapture on first listen, but through its endless repeat-listen intricacy has all the makings of a minor classic in its own right.

Released December 1st, 2014.

Taken from Disc 2 of Solarstone’s critically acclaimed ‘Electronic Architecture 3’ compilation come ‘Memories’. Two mixes which cover different areas within the Pure Trance spectrum. The Original Mix stands out from the fray firstly thanks to its stark and spacious production that echoes the simplicity of early PVD productions. Keeping the frills, whizz-bangs & pops to a minimum, Tom focuses on the plucked melody and subtle progressions, keeping things simple but effective. On the remix tip is Alan Morris (of Transistic Records / Ferrin & Morris

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings presents the single release of the exclusive anthem taken from Electronic Architecture 3 called Memories and is produced by Tom Bro.The track is pure honest straight forward progressive trance that is based and focus upon the strong melodies to build up its dreamworld that is emotional, and very sensitive. Floating and flowing trancer that carry away easily the listener without trying too hard and can set or change the mood  on any trance set.  Following up on the glorious ‘Te Echo De Menos’ are two more cuts here from Majera’s forthcoming album ‘Tomorrow Never Was’ on Touchstone. The tracks cover two different 134bpm angles, first up is ‘Remember When’, understated layers of synths provide the backbone for a shimmering lead, which punches all the right buttons. Jump straight to ‘Til We Meet Again’ if a tougher more intense track is to your taste, with a stabbing chorded lead and glittering metallic stabs this is one for the bigger room Djs.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the hottest record labels on planet Pure Trance is of course Touchstone recordings headed by Solarstone who is currently rocking the universe with his Pure trance performances. His record labels are responsible for giving voice to many young talented artists like Majera who has what it takes to produce unforgettable and highly emotional dreamy trance music. Till We Meet Again starts with tough bouncy groove, heavy basslines and great percussion as well that reminds us the Gabriel & Dresden productions. It actually hides well its intentions and you will be surprised as soon as the melodic layers coming at the forefront with that electro pop synthy sensibilities. In the highly emotional breakdown the massive colourful classic trance synthy riff slowly comes to the surface supported by heavenly voices and classical music / film soundtracks music strings and airy pads. When the kick returns it takes the listener on board for a floating dream trance journey that will take you back to the future of the golden days of trance music. The breakdown is magical with airy pads and balearic guitar riff that travel your spirit to faraway places. The main synthy lead comes next and slowly builds the tension with drum  rolls for the massive climax that is of course the coolest crescendo that this top production deserves with addictive synthy riffs and stunning sunkissed atmosphere that perfectly represents Ibiza Trance style. #PureGold Love iT

1. Pt. I
2. Pt. II

Following up his 2013 TSR release ‘Meltwater’, Simon Templar - one half of Finnish duo Winkee - returns to Touchstone with another two part release. ‘To The Stars’ is trance music of the highest order. ‘Pt. 1’ sets the tone, with rich layers of arpeggiated bass, sweeping pads and a huge cascading synth riff which builds relentlessly throughout the track. Unusually for tracks of this genre, there is no traditional breakdown at all, instead Templar moves the arrangement through twists and turns, locking people in a tight groove on the dancefloor. As if that were not enough, the +10 minute colossus that is ‘Pt. II’ takes things deeper, with crunchy tribal percussion and washes of ethereal FX, crescendos of compressed pads, percussive hits and an understated lead riff. This is serious late-night, powerful, heads-down trance music.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings brings the finest pure trance tracks from high quality artists from around the world. Simon Templar from Finland is one of those unconventional artists who does not conform to genre norms and conventions. In contrast his music is always challenging and very fresh sounding. His tracks are very appealing to  those who search for strong arrangement ideas and unique personality flair.  To The Stars comes in two very different parts. Pt.1 is a wonderful relentlessly building melodic progressive trancer that builds the various soundlayers in a such involving way that  you feel totally lost  within the magical soundscape. The track doesn't include breakdown and this requires a lot of energy to keep dancing along. The synthy melodies used are truly hypnotic and recall trance classics from the golden era. What is more Simon music always contains psy trance influences so djs who prefer that trance substyle will adore his track as well. Pt 2. has totally different approach as the track is more dynamic, energetic and in your face. It last for nearly 10 minutes and the arrangement is more conventional with fantastic first sequence with driving energetic punchy basslines, pumping bouncy kick and wide variety of emotional synthy melodies, haunting voices and cinematic strings. The breakdown is mysterious with darker suspenseful themes and distorted spoken vocal samples. The climax is absolutely incredible with rich sound texture packed with classic synthy themes and epic cinematic strings. Both tracks are pure trance productions that represent what trance should be about and that is to be able to hypnotise, mesmerise and put the crowd in a state of trance! #PureGold Love iT

Belfast’s finest Walsh & McAuley return with their 4th single for Touchstone. Gleaned from Solarstone’s Pure Trance Vol. II is the fabulous ‘Ashgrove Throne’. Laced with rousing synth lines and an evocative spoken vocal from Orla Feeney, this is a gorgeous example of melodic trance music. Increasing the pressure is UK rising talent Daniel Skyver, with a 138bpm slammer, which retains the key musical ingredients and serves them with an extra helping of peak-time punch. Added to this package is a neat instrumental of the original and also a handy Acapella for your mixing pleasure.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most consistent and beloved artists is the brilliant Irish duo Walsh & McAuley. Their magnificent melodic balearic progressive trancer Ashgrove Throne is one of those beauties that meet you by chance on the dancefloor and stay in your heart thereafter. The original is the epitome of Pure Trance with fantastic energetic basslines, bouncy groove and fantastic drive that manage to carry you away for a magical ride easily. Very emotional and deep synthy melodies are combined with epic strings and fantastic inspiring female spoken vocal sample that works perfectly with the music soundscapes that the trusted duo have crafted so carefully and gently for us. Daniel Skyver is on board and he never fails to impress. His version transforms the slightly balearic original into a dynamic and superbly energetic uplifting pure trancer. Daniel follows the UK  trance dogma with heavy kicks, driving basslines and euphoric synths combined with acid overtones. On top he sprinkles some piano melodies as well in order to enhance the emotional depth of the track. The result is a powerful and highly addictive feel good trancer ready for Ibiza floors and summer festivals as well. The package includes Instrumental version of the original and Acapella as well for those who would like to approach it in a creative manner! #PureGold Trance! Love iT

Driftmoon’s recent success with ‘Howl At The Moon’ has certainly fuelled their studio mojo; The Uplifting Mix of Luminance is a slab of top quality uplifting & pure euphoric trance. A poignant and ethereal female cry graces the breakdown which is where the magic begins to unfurl; layers of delicate melodic arpeggios open up and unleash a cascade of peak-time trance splendor. Vadim Zhukov’s ‘Moscow Morning’ was originally released on the Deep Blue Records label back in 2006 under the artist name of ‘Double V’. Since then a new act as laid claim to that name, so Vadim decided to use his real name for this release of new and reissued mixes. Leading the charge is Ultimate’s rocking 138bpm pure trance mix which is a perfect example of what a modern remix update should be – it is completely faithful to the wonderful melodies and progressions of the original 2006 release but envelops them in a 100% bang-up-to-date peak-time trance mix. On a much deeper note is a remix by Vadim himself under his renowned ‘Stanley Progman’ alias, which takes us on an immersive trip down a minimal trance-for-adults road. Finally the elusive ImmerSense guys darken up the atmosphere somewhat with spooky sequencers, eerie atmospherics and experimental percussive elements in their progressive trance remake.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  The Pure Trance record label Touchstone recordings headed by Solarstone presents 3 magnificent new remixes on the beloved trance classic Moscow Morning that is considered as one of the masterpieces in trance music. Vadim Zhukov in his career has offered  many unforgettable tracks and Moscow Morning was one of his best. First of all comes the Ultimate remix that is the finest update that you could ever imagine or better wish to happen for this precious record. It follows faithfully the classic trance style with straight forward composition that focus on the emotional melodic themes. Banging bouncy beats and driving energetic basslines melted with warm strings and colourful synthy melodies  lead us on the long breakdown.  It's the moment that the hair raising well known synthy melody appears in the surface to bring goosebumps and increase intensity levels. The climax will offer the pay off moment we are waiting for with hands in the air straight to the point pure trance composition with mesmerising luscious electronic melodies and epic synths to carry our soul away for the journey towards Moscow in the morning.   Stanley Progman remix is an exceptional deep melodic progressive house meets trance track that will be the favourite for those who like producers like Gai Barone. Deep haunting basslines, chunky groovy beats and the trademark melody of the classic replayed in a totally different hypnotic direction. Spacey and mysterious composition for the warm up moments of your dj set. On the same deep dark progressive trance sound moves the ImmerSense version that lasts for more than 9 minutes and will appeal to the more sophisticated audience that expects something more experimental and complicated with fresh ideas and interesting sound innovations. High class remixes not to be missed! #PureGold Love it

Ex-Public Domain producer James Allan has produced a beautiful and melodic smooth piece of trance music. The Original Mix, with it’s echoes of Solarstone’s 2002 classic ‘Release’, ‘Rise of the Suns’ moves gracefully at a sedate BPM as James builds a warm atmosphere before slowly unveiling the melodic hook at the breakdown (where we’re treated to some classy breaks). The full beauty is then released and built upon retaining a welcome crisp clarity.

Providing the main remix is Dublin’s Paul Webster, a stalwart of the harder trance scene. An offbeat sub and driving filtered stabs build the groove, and the hook is unleashed within a string-enveloped breakdown. Post-break Paul keeps things simple-but-effective for maximum club impact, and adds an extended outro for DJ appeal.

Added here is a rare remix from El Salvador’s Manuel Juvera, a warm deep progressive house mood is created by live bass guitar and a crunchy percussive groove. Piano, pads and guitar combine at the breakdown with some slick rolling breakbeats before the bassline drops and the track flows on. Three different mixes and one classy package.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Solarstone's record label Touchstone recordings offers always high class productions that deserve some space in our hard discs. The latest offering comes from the brilliant James Allan and is called Rise of The Suns. The original is a magnificent  trancer with steady tribal trance beat, driving high nrg basslines, airy pads and euphoric synthy lines that work like a treat to lock us in the groove and carry us away for the trance journey we all search for to happen sometimes. The breakdown is emotional and dreamy with breakbeat sequence and absolute first role offered to the emotional piano melody that is sincere, honest and deliver that pure trance feeling that works in the build up moment of your trance sets. The remix package translate the melodic balearic original into something tottaly different. Paul Webster well-known for his belief in trance we all trust deliver the uplifting euphoric make over with tough drum beats, energetic basslines, acid touches and superb application of the original melody with the piano chords untouched. The road towards the mass relief in the climax is full on hands in the air and pure trance at its best. Full on and straight to the point Paul crafts the perfect prime time weapon that adds the sweet moment within a rough trance set. Last but not least for those late night sets Manuel Juvera understands the track as a relaxing Ibiza terrace style track that calms and sooths with relaxing vibes that mesmerise the crowd and cool them down. The balearic guitar riff is pure class with electronic breakbeats and even some vocal samples. Rise Of The Suns is another Touching your heart pure trancer! Love iT

Monada are Arthur Kulyukin & Artem Pantleev from the Ukraine who’s previous release ‘Turbulence’ was released last year on A State Of Trance records. ‘Teleport’ in its Original Mix is a dark, powerful and beautifully melodic slice of trance. The magic happens at the break where the simple but effective lead arpeggio and pad elements explode to the front of the mix encapsulating what we all love about pure trance music. On remix duties is Jack Høye aka Dreamy – fresh from his mind-blowing remix of ‘Emerge’ by Franz he pulls no punches here, initially adding some gated vocal snatches before delivering a peak time monster of a remix complete with razor sharp synth stabs and some gorgeous piano sprinkles. Glorious.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings is the beloved label headed by Solarstone well known for his crusade to elevate the popularity of Pure Trance sound. The latest release coming from Monada follows the same philosophy and will certainly win the hearts of those who search for emotional melodies, strong atmosphere, danceable rhythm and strong intense drive to keep any dancefloor on fire. The original mix of Teleport is a driving progressive trancer with unique tribalish techy beats and deep but energetic basslines while on top ethereal voices run throughout along with the colourful mesmerising electronica style synthy melodies. The breakdown is exceptional with the magical synths and the beautiful dreamy voices coming together to hypnotize your senses and prepare your body and soul for the initial take off. When the beat strikes back will be carried away on a mystical journey as will be transfered straight away to another dimension. Just closed eyes and our imagination running wild fuelled by the nice composition that stands out straight away. Dreamy well known for super solid productions delivers the goods once again as he pushed the original to the peak time moment of your dj set. Powerful banging mechanical beats, driving agressive punchy basslines, beautiful gated female voices on top and hi-nrg melodies to lead us nicely in the mouthwatering breakdown. Melancholic piano chords, euphoric synths, luscius melodies and build up towards the climax that keep us on the edge of our seat waiting for the beat to drop. Incredible final part that is straight to the point, floating, sensitive, emotional and very dynamic of course.  Its hard not to start jumping and dancing with hands in the air when this will be played out! This Is What I Call Trance, Love iT

Rewind to 2006 and a classic release on the now defunct Deepblue Recordings - Adam Nickey’s ‘Perfect Destiny. The recent mixes from Winkee and Allende scored a home run, now we follow up with another new mix on the 138bpm trance tip from Moonsouls, which stays faithful to the beautiful melodies and progressions from the original whilst giving it a modern peak time trance sheen. Additionally this package reissues the 2005 mix package which have been unavailable for some time, including the Original PT II version & Ambient Mix from Adam himself, Alexey Selin’s rework and also a previously unreleased chillout version from Go! Dream.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Perfect Destiny by Adam Nickey is a firm favourite for many trancers worldwide and returns with brand new mixes to capture the imagination of the modern clubbers. The 2nd package includes the brand new Moonsouls remix that is absolutely magical version. It stays faithful to the spirit of the original and remains on that  spiritual inspirational side of trance with excellent work done in the breakdown that cinematic strings, melodramatic sounds and the female spoken vocal sample create the perfect destination for any trancer. The climax follows the original with focus on the hair raising melody and its emotional progression upon the driving basslines and the pumping beats. Trance as it should be done without gimmicks and extra effects. Clean, clear, simple in other words pure trance. The package includes the very strong original versions and remixes that were released on the exceptional Deep Blue recordings. Its one of those tracks that can be play on repeat mode for ever and eternally without exaggerations. Love iT
