After the rousing success of his remix of ‘Just For You’ by Triple Dee, Cozzetto & Polina Griffith we proudly welcome Sebb Aston with an original production debut on Koolwaters Recordings.

Sebb’s original offering of ‘Feel Like I’m Nowhere’ is a deep-seated, sultry affair starring a laid back groove and sun kissed vocal adlibs. The main star of the show however is a whopping speaker rattling bass line which rolls on like a runaway steam train!

On the flip we welcome back Chris Geka & Tecca to the label to present their heads down interpretation of the original! Boasting a bad ass tribal groove interspersed with vocal adlibs dark melodic stabs, the guys have created a shadowy 6am vibe with this one. If the original mix were to be the remedy then this mix is most definitely the Poison!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Koolwaters delivers another stunning release ready made for the big dancefloors. Sebb Aston service the awesome Feel Like I'm Nowhere. Old school garage house basslines, punchy techy grooves and emotional melodic synths along with classic diva house vocals. Hypnotic, moody and balearic summery house smasher that works perfectly on any big deep house floor. The brand new release comes from the hands of Stephen Malik from Scotland and you can say that this guy has been influenced a lot from great house and techno Scottish legendary labels like Soma Records. His sound is what I will term as traditionally deep house sound with strong techno influences. Hypnotic repetitive funky sexy grooves, deep sexy basslines, cool chopped and squeezed vocal samples and jazzy samples along with old school 90's influenced percussive melodies. Superb sounds ready made for Ibiza house parties. Warm, groovy, emotional and most importantly welcomes people on the dancefloor! Anthem Alert!

The gaffer Marc Vedo returns to his rightful home Koolwaters Recordings to cook up a sizzling banquet of soulful House music with lashings of Bass! After his last KWR outing, together with Paolo Viez, went down a treat with the House faithful it’s great to have the main man back where he belongs!

‘To The Rhythm’ is a jazzy seductive affair from the off as sultry synth driven smooth grooves together with classy vocals work the ever enticing intro before making way for a big dollop of ear shattering bass in the form of a deep proggy late night groove. This one is certainly for those that do not want to go home!

To the dance floor!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Koolwaters head honcho Marc Vedo strikes back with a bang and his massive deep house gem To The Rhythm that has already the approval of many only positive comments on the soundcloud sample. "Excellent Job", "Put This On Spotify, This track is Solid" "Class" and many more in similar vein prove that Marc Vedo came up with a winner and  is time for many more unsuspected house lovers to get infected as well. The word deep house sounds too small to include the moody lazy laid back dark progressive groove, the funky harsh bassline, the excellent live like percussion and  the classic soulful house breakdown with positive colourful synths and the urban style vocal sample To The Rhythm along with the sexier Come On.  It's certainly deep and atmospheric with progressive and tech house elements that makes it very rich in textures and three dimensional sounds that magnetise your ears and hypnotise your senses. To The Rhythm is modern futuristic house with strong roots to the UK house tradition. #PureClass Love it

These guys are no strangers to the scene with original productions and remixes featuring on labels such as Hotfingers, Kidology and Pacha to name but a few and it’s safe to say we’re in good hands with Mark & Johnny!

Big badass bass line flavours rock da floor with this one as the boys present a groove driven bass fest with tight, incise percussion, neatly placed vocal samples and of course plenty of earth shaking sub frequencies!

The party is right here!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Dolly Rockers are ready to rock the Koolwaters and bring their dirty nasty tech house vibes for the big autumn house parties. Where's The Party as you can easily guess is a strictly undeground rocking tech house power slamming production with superb deep wonky basslines, cool vocal samples and that meaty cracking old school groove that is deep but very energetic at the very same time. Fantastic rhythm with that UK garage house flavour and the infectious groove that you wish to never end so better press repeat mode on your favourite media player and your party at your living room or bedroom will never end. Fresh new artwork, fresh new music! Koolwaters return once again with another fine helping of top notch House music courtesy of Jochen Simms. Having seen his Hotfingers release ‘Your Not Alone’ (of Olive fame) sit inside the Beatport House top 5 it’s clear that this man is on a mission to cement his place amongst the House elite!

Featuring the vocal talents of UK singer ‘Belle’, ‘The First Time’ is a pumping vocal led hot houser with an infectiously funky Hispanic guitar breakdown which makes way for a sleazy, deep electro bass line grove which is interspersed with acutely placed vocal chops!

As a bonus on the flip Jochen has rehashed the original idea a little and created a dirty, groove laden, chunky, affair suitable for the later, harder floors!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Koolwaters is the magnificent underground house imprint owned by the legend Marc Vedo who has many hits under his belt. It is a highly consistent label that manages always to deliver high class house releases that will have sure impact on the dancefloor without any delays. The brand new release comes from Jochen Simms who seems to be on the rise and he collaborates with the sexy and truly sweet voice of Belle for the track The First Time. The package includes two very strong versions that will do the damage for sure. First of all the original mix is a wonderful combination of deep tech house with Balearic relaxing sounds that turn the track perfectly into the big club burner for hot Ibiza dance sessions. The breakdown is the moment that the excellent Belle vocals are  fully revealed along with the Hispanic guitar riffs that will catch you by surprise without doubts. For the drop he applies the classic UK garage house infused bassline but in a such a way that sounds appropriate for big room house sets as well. The track has great energetic vibes, is very danceable and totally irresistible without doubts and tailor made for summer house parties. The Bass Mix as the title of it suggests adopts heavier bassline that sounds deep, throbbing pulsating and extremely dominating so you can expect the clubbers going mad with it. Both versions are quality modern house cuts that merge wide variety of influences and comes up with the #PureGold goods so its definitely highly recommended. Love it

Koolwaters breaks from the norm to present something a little bit special from a new name in town, Deniz Kabu. Hailing from Istandbul, Turkey this talented producer certainly has his own trademark sound!

‘Drug Bust’ is a jackin’ bassline House production brimming with groove and attitude. Featuring one of the most outlandish intro’s to a dance music production known to man, it’s clear from the outset that this is no ordinary production and is sure to grab the attention of the House elite!

Dimitri Kechagias review: There is a record label that goes against the norm and attempts successfully to be open minded and represent the hottest house sounds from all over the world without staying attached to a particular house subgenre. Deniz Kabu services his dirty sleazy production Drug Bust. The track is a slow jacking sexy groovy tech house gem with simple but very effective ingredients. Techy grooves, jacking playful basslines, great organic percussion, cool sound effects, synthy melodies, old school garage infusions and most importantly very clever application of a male spoken vocal sample that sounds just right in place along with female vocal sample saying "Hallo!" It's the type of track that will keep the dancefloor ignite and very interested until the very last kick! Swinging dark moody and very sinister ready for many plays during the summer festivals. Hitting our 30th release on Koolwaters, we present to you a bumper package from the brainchild and Head Honcho of Koolwaters alongside Paolo Viez, including three tasty mixes.

Opening the package in style, KillerBeatz keep it fresh and hypnotic as they take the energy up a notch and create a tribal groove, which will do some serious dance floor damage! Classic House strings come to the fore in the breakdown, joining the lead vocals before the hypnotic groove works its magic once again.

The meat in the sandwich comes from the sturdy Original Mix, which oozes class with a classic House groove backed by a sultry deeva-esque vocal.

But to round the package off in style, The Dolly Rockers remix takes it down low Bassline House stylee! Beefing up the chuggy bassline groove to the max, these lads have created a tight, deep remix. Short, sharp percussion elements fused with well placed vocal chops keep the groove bubbling away, whilst the deadly brooding bassline simmers in the background, ready to pound the speakers after the drop!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The awesome house record label Koolwater recordings continues to impress the house world with fantastic releases that remain underground, fresh and highly original. The latest anthem is called I Know and comes from the hands of Marc Vedo & Paolo Viez supported by two very strong additional remixes. The original mix has the words Ibiza House Anthem written all over it. It follows the deep house style that is currently very fashionable even in the UK pop charts but they fused it with latin house influences and fantastic diva style vocal samples that sound super stylish and absolutely feel good. The breakdown includes cheerful synthy plucks to add some sunny touches too. Overall is one of those records that will bring smiles in the faces on the dancefloor and this what it counts for sure. KillerBeatz remix is an upfront tech house make over that moves along the lines of the driving energetic tech house style on labels like Hotfingers for instance. Deep brooding bassline and chunky techy rolling grooves while on the breakdown the cool house diva vocal is supported by old school melodies followed by retro drum rolls that lead on the intense and highly contagious and danceable drop. Last but not least Dolly Rockers transform the original into an underground old school romantic 90's UK garage house with that dark underground East Londonish flavour! Absolutely infectious with many cool twists and turns that keep the clubbers intrested and occupied dancing and grooving along! Ibiza House Anthem 2014 guaranteed. Love iT

Koolwaters Recordings ‘Drop’ another House bomb as we welcome yet another stylish straight up house debut from London based, Norwegian native Thomas Amundsen.

Already carving a name for himself in the scene Thomas has already had multiple releases and gleamed support from some big names, plus played at some top venues such as The Egg and The White House in the UK!

‘Drop’ is a chunky, funky hypnotic house banger with a deep groove driven bassline capable of teasing any dancefloor into submission! Laden with left field vocal and fx samples and amply backed by dark swirling synth fx this production has a freshly unique sound, which stands out amongst the deep house monotony!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The truly international record label Koolwaters opens its doors to Thomas Amundsen with the superb Drop. It can be identified as eclectic deep tech house stormer that will attract the attention of many dj /educators who will include without second thought in their sets. What you can easily notice is that Thomas decided to go straight to the underground and despite from being from Norway he comes up with something really British acid house sounding track. It is cooked with basic ingredients like acid layers, chunky house grooves, deep haunting basslines, distorted vocal samples and some synths as well. Its very basic in its inception and for that reason wins your attention straight away. It sounds like being produced with analogue equipment and less with computer software. It has this great warmth, sleaziness and dirtiness that any good house record should include. House its not catwalk music, it's retro futuristic tech house with creativity and artistic flair! #PureClass Love It

Peter Brown, real name Pierre Jean Brun, hails from France but now resides in the musical hotbed that is Barcelona. Having had past productions on top labels such as Toolroom, Pacha Recordings and Hotfingers to name but a few, Peter is no outsider to the House scene.

Get down and groove!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Koolwaters is an awesome independent house record label with must have releases so far and great talented artists. Peter Brown becomes part of the family with his Ibiza club house smasher Get Down (Yeah Yeah). If you like your house music upfront with funky basslines, pulsating pumping beats, old school house vocal samples and disco grooves that nobody can resist its impact don't look any further than Get Down (Yeah Yeah). Peter offer us his very energetic and ultra sexy and flirting composition that has all the right and exact elements to become the next big Ibiza THING. Koolwaters continue in a mega rich vein of form as we spotlight another stunning debut production by London based hot shot, Neil Page. With impending releases / remixes on SUKA, Mjuzieek & Applique and DJ gigs a plenty, 2014 is set to be a bumper year for Neil!

‘Best Shot’ is a chunky, funky groove-a-licious mother of a production, packed with attitude and vigour. Based around a funkadelic bassline groove and deep soulful male vocal hook, this production is deep ‘n’ sleezy and the drop is sure to cause frenzy on the dance floor!

This one is right on target!

Dimitri Kechagias review: If the scene wants to make the step into the future must open its doors and allow new talents to enter the building and showcase their talent. Music scene without the presence of new hopeful talented people who can bring  new fresh ideas and approach  is doomed to be distinguished soon. For that reason I really like Marc Vedo's imprint Koolwaters cause if you check it regularly you can hear some upcoming house producers that have great prospects in their future. One of them is the Londoner Neil Page with his awesome deep house beauty Best Shot. We deal here with a very simple and effective track that focuses on the basics and less on effects. It's funky playful production that remains on the deep tech house pathway while at the same time is very upfront and danceable. The cool jazz infused relaxing dreamy melody is combined with classic 90's organ riffs and the fantastic male vocal sample upon the groovy beat and the deep funky fuelled basslines. When you hear it you can not stop thinking of endless passionate sexy summer clubnights in Ibiza or Miami Winter Music Conference. Love iT

Koolwaters are back for our second outing in 2014 and we aim to keep doing we do best; unearthing true diamonds in the rough! And no more so true than with our next release by Skinner & Bracks.

The brainchild of veteran House producers Julian Napolito and Robert Turner, this artist alias caters for the deeper end of the house spectrum, whilst debut release ‘Be Mine’ delivers a chunky, deep and chuggy number with a clean electronic bassline that cuts through the mix with expert precision. Chopped female vocal effects add both space and groove to the mix, whilst the bassline layer joins forces with the main hook to make one almighty house banger saturated with funk and attitude!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The lovely house record label Koolwaters presents wide variety of high class house productions that belong in many different subgenres and substyles of what we term as house. The latest production is another sure winner. Skinner & Bracks land on the Koolwaters imprint with their magnificent deep, sexy, smooth and highly danceable production Be Mine. Chunky, groovy and bubblicius is the deep tech house number that is so minimal and hypnotic with etherial female vocal running on top while on the breakdown they add even some cool classic house chords that will recall the acid balearic house era. If you play tracks from Anjunadeep for instance this track follows that eclectic house pathway. Very stylish, infectious, mysterious track that can be summed up with one word Iresistable! Love iT

Kerri Louis returns to the Koolwaters camp in quick succession to present another uniquely white hot production! After bagging a big success with his last release ‘Talk To You’, we knew we had to get this in form producer back for another round of pure unadulterated House music!

‘Freedom’ is an unmistakably old skool sounding houser with a distinctly late night sleazy groove. Driven by a supremely deep and dark bassline, backed up by choppy, chunky percussion and a pulsating bleep laden synth stab, this one has a sumptuous groove! The breakdown hosts a well placed female vocal sample, which adds to the uber mysterious aura of the production.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The cool house record label headed by Marc Vedo presents another superb production by Kerri Louis that is called Freedom. In contrast with the previous disco house productions released with success on the label, Kerri lands with an atmospheric feel good super groovy prog house anthem with some techy elements as well. Its pretty track that can be used in the middle of your progressive house set to add some substance and coherence to it. Really well produced club burner that relentlessly is building up its various elements and manage to create an atmosphere that is enhanced even more with the addition of the mysterious, deep and meaningful spoken female vocal.
