Album News: John Grand – DRIFT out now on Euphonic Records
David Di Sabato is a DJ and producer born in the suburbs of Milan. His curiosity for music blossomed at a young age, leading him to purchase his first DJ equipment at the age of 14. This pivotal moment ignited his passion for electronic music, propelling him to create mixes for his friends and eventually securing his first professional gig at the age of 18. Since then, he has graced the stages of numerous clubs across northern Italy, honing his craft and developing a distinctive musical style.
In 2008, David embarked on his journey as a producer, crafting his unique sound—a captivating blend of dark melodies and deep techno influences. His music has garnered recognition from esteemed artists such as Tiësto, Kyau & Albert, Darin Epsilon, and Eelke Kleijn, as well as reputable labels like ICONYC, Euphonic, Lost On You, Proton Music, and Balkan Connection.
In 2017, David collaborated with the renowned Dutch producer Steve Banning, co-founding the music platform “Melodic Deep.” This initiative aims to foster recognition and collaboration among talented artists.
David’s dedication to music has extended beyond his artistic pursuits. In April 2018, he was appointed as the Italian Ambassador for the Burn Residency, embarking on a European tour that showcased his performances at esteemed venues such as Kappa FuturFestival, Movement Torino, A Summer Story Madrid, and ADE Amsterdam.

Well done!
“We met Ralph Kyau and Steven Albert at ADE in 2002, and immediately recognised kindred spirits. They’d been running Euphonic since 1997 and had some really exceptional artists signed to their label, such as Mirco de Govia and Ronski Speed. Their records were well-made, mixed perfectly, and even mastered in-house. That relentless quality control has always been a hallmark of everything they do together, and when a new Kyau & Albert sound emerged in the late naughties—slower, chunkier, groovier—the whole world followed. With their own imprint doing so well they have little need for Anjunabeats, but we like to have them come stay once in a while: “Velvet Morning”, “Kiksu”, “Glühwürmchen" and “Anphonic” are all Anjuna classics. They work tirelessly to build and maintain the trance scene in their homeland, and we tip our hats to their dedication and commitment. Their mix contains a satisfying chunk of their awesome tunes together with other label favourites. Danke!” - Above & Beyond
“We were very excited when Anjunabeats asked us to do a mix for their big 20 year anniversary! To be honest, naming our favourites was difficult as we both had dozens of tracks in mind for the mix—especially as we've played countless Anjuna releases in our sets over the years. Above & Beyond compositions are timeless. We’ve known the boys since 2002, and released on the label since 2004; it’s been a long time with a lot of nice memories. Wishing all the best for the next decades to come!” Kyau & Albert
