Jaytech releases his ‘Next Level EP’, out now on Anjunabeats.

With over 40 releases across Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, Jaytech (or ‘Jimbo’ as we affectionately know him) is a long-term friend of the Anjunafamily. He honed his ear as a label A&R for Anjuna HQ in the late 2000s. In recent years, he’s unearthed new talent on his long-running Jaytech Music mix show and continues to share his wealth of production experience on YouTube.

Jaytech has long been a part of the fabric of Anjunabeats - he has toured globally with Above & Beyond and was a studio engineer for the label. He has since gone to play Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Electric Zoo and more.

The Australian producer dropped his progressive and trance two-tracker ‘Nebula / Makes You Wonder’ earlier this year, which earned support from Armin van Buuren, Korolova, Ferry Corsten, Farius, Kyau & Albert, Andrew Rayel, Judge Jules and more.

He now follows it up with the ‘Next Level EP’, which features two stomping progressive house tracks alongside a disco house-tinted remix of ‘Nebula’ from Friday Afternoon Club. 'Limbo' shows fans one side of Jaytech’s staple upbeat sound, while 'Next Level' brings heavy kicks and basslines to the dance floor.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Jaytech, the Greek Australian DJ and producer is back on Anjunabeats with his Next Level Ep. Prepare yourself for some great surprises here as Jaytech brings 3 very unique and different tracks with no formulas attached. Just pure artistic integrity and quality of course. Limbo is feel good upbeat progressive beauty cooked with disco house influences and cool female vocal samples. The carefree feel good synths merged with uplifting pianos and nice vocals leading to the ultimate party anthem climax that will move mountains and skyscrapers signaling that summer is in full swing. Next Level starts with cool intriguing cinematic intro perfect to open your set with it. The beats are tougher and demanding perfect to dominate any dancefloor. Thumping psy infused basslines, punchy kicks and booming percussion along with pleasure electronic synths building tension and grabbing the attention of the huge festival crowds. It's one of these tracks that scream loud prepare to dance. The Friday night club remix of Nebula is an excellent 118 BPM relaxing smoothing chilling progressive house version perfect to warm up any dancefloor with disco house influences and acid jazz basslines along with mesmerizing synths, Nile Rodgers type of guitar riffs and electrifying vocals. Perfect for any Cafe Del Mar style compilation. #PureGold Love iT[/content]

Fan favourite Jaytech remixes Nourey & FOSTER’s ‘Meant To Be’, out now on Anjunabeats.

Egyptian-born, Boston-based musician Nourey is a rising star on the label. First picking up the guitar at ten years old, Nourey turned to music production; releasing on Elliptical Sun Recordings and AVA. Her unique blend of trance, house and jazz caught the ear of Above & Beyond, who played her debut single 'Skylar' on Group Therapy Radio in 2019. She soon crossed over to Anjunabeats, remixing Gabriel & Dresden and releasing 'In Motion' (with OLAN) and 'All Night' (with ZOYA).

Last year, Nourey made her live debut at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender festival in July 2022, earned a coveted spot on 1001Tracklist’s ‘Future Of Dance’ music in 2022, and dropped her debut EP on Anjunabeats, the ‘Meant To Be EP’.

The five-track EP showcases Nourey’s diverse sound and influences, spanning progressive trance, ambient, deep house and breakbeat. Las Vegas-based singer/songwriter FOSTER also features, lending her vocals to ‘Meant To Be’ and ‘Free’.

Alongside her music career, Nourey is also a postdoctoral research fellow and manager of the Climate Change and Cities Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She’s worked closely with AnjunaHQ on sustainability initiatives, including at Group Therapy Weekender, and has multiple academic awards and honours for her research.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The beloved Jaytech, the Greek/Australian electronic music artist put his very able hands on Nourey & FOSTER highly infectious track Meant To Be. Superb version that pushes the original to the big mainstages with pumping pulsating basslines, thumping drums, and superb atmosphere in its incredible breakdown with guitar riffs and the magical nostalgic romantic FOSTER vocals. Wait until the big mainstage anthemic euphoric hands in the air riffs come to the surface to drive the track to its full on hands in the air climax to start jumping around and feeling like loosing the gravity for a while flying high above and beyond the sun and the moon for sure. Summer festival anthem detected not to be missed, Beatport trance top 10 very soon!  #PureClass #PureGold Love IT[/content]

Jaytech’s latest offering to the music gods features both sides of the progressive house coin. A cranking bass-driven club gem and an ethereal, melodic, and atmospheric deep number. No matter your preference, spend a few minutes and discover a new favourite.

Side A: Audiovirus

Finding inspiration in the darker end of our cosmic experience, Audiovirus is unmistakably big and in your face from start to finish.  Created for Jaytech’s late night club sets, this ballsy tune takes no prisoners.

Side B: Transit of Venus

Chilling vocals and a celestial vibe that reflects the deeper end of our journey, Transit of Venus is beautifully crafted melodic house. With a sun-soaked sensibility, soaring chords and Jaytech’s trademark groove, this track pulls the listener to a new orbit.

Audiovirus is the tougher choice of the two with thumping grooves, electro twisted basslines, distorted aggressive synthy lines and superb breakdown with suspenseful electronic melody along with some very serious strings while on back cool breaks style sequence builds the tension towards the hands in the air mainstage style climax. Melodic synthy layers are driving the track forward and provide immense aural pleasure with certain balearic warm and tender touch. Only Now is engaging powerful progressive banger with chunky tribal grooves, dark aggressive basslines and ethereal breakdown with sweet female vocals that sound just perfect along with the nice piano chords underneath.
