Electronic dance music icon AFROJACK, known for the 6x platinum “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo and timeless dance music staples like “Take Over Control,” has teamed up with fellow Dutch dance music icon and former 2 x world No.1 DJ Hardwell, known for prior global hits like “Spaceman” and “Apollo,” and more recently propelling the Big Room Techno scene with his REBELS NEVER DIE album, for a new, exhilarating single, “Push It.” The thrilling new collaboration, a joint release on AFROJACK’s WALL Recordings and Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and featuring singer/songwriter Meryll, is available now on all DSPs and all streaming services HERE.

Following their past collaborative efforts on “Hollywood” in 2016 and “Hands Up” in 2017, “Push It” sees AFROJACK and Hardwell continue to blend their extremely popular styles and sounds to create a track that is sure to please listeners from around the world. As the song starts, a snappy electronic beat draws you in before fading to give way to an echoing mantra, “Push it, Pull it, Twist it, I’ve got it,” with a pulsing backing beat which drops out to give way to the next verse. The hypnotic vocals are provided by singer/songwriter Meryll, best known for her collaboration with Fisher, “Yeah The Girls.” Creating a euphoric rush sure to draw anyone to the dancefloor, “Push It” will have listeners eager to hear it at every bar, club, and festival.

AFROJACK has had an extremely prolific year. In May, he completed the new home of WALL Recordings, his artist development label. The new WALL Recordings studio & headquarters compound features multiple state-of-the-art studios, sleeping and office spaces, content stages, and more on the backdrop of the stunning Belgium countryside. Recently at Amsterdam Dance Event, AFROJACK spoke in a featured keynote panel where he discussed his evolution from breakthrough artist to global dance music icon, to founder of WALL Recordings, where he has developed a number of successful musicians including R3HAB and Quintinowho have gone on to become top 100 DJs. During this panel, he also announced WALL’s new partnership with The Tomorrowland Academy, Tomorrowland’s official music academy. As a coach, AFROJACK will be using his over fifteen years of award-winning experience in the music industry to provide tutorials in production, mixing, mastering, and more. This collaboration will be the PRO addition to the forthcoming online platform of the Tomorrowland Academy, built to grow user’s skill, understanding, and success. AFROJACK has also extended his collaboration with One World Artists, Tomorrowland’s official artist management & bookings agency.

After bookending his earlier sound in 2018, Hardwell closed off one chapter in his career in preparation for the next. His resurgence over the past couple of years, since his historic set at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2022, has seen the globally renowned artist deliver his second studio album, REBELS NEVER DIE, and usher in a new era for one of electronic music's biggest stars. Armed with the new 14-track album, Hardwell returned to touring in 2022 with a 24-date world tour headlining arena shows and festivals that included Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Ultra Europe, Soundstorm Festival, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Untold Festival, Creamfields and Tomorrowland. More recently, Hardwell's maintained a tapestry of projects that include a selection of remixes for David Guetta / Benny Benassi's rework of “Satisfaction” and Calvin Harris' “Miracle” (featuring Ellie Golding). Hardwell has also released a string of new singles and collaborations with artists such as Maddix, Space 92, Timmy Trumpet, Azteck/Alex Hepburn, Will Sparks, and Nicky Romero. After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Hardwell recently announced the return of his popular radio program, 'Hardwell On Air.' The program, previously a mainstay in the dance music scene, will be returning to delight fans everywhere.

Showcasing a versatile and expansive range of music, Grammy-winning dance music DJ & producer, Afrojack, has today released a new EP titled “Press Play”. The EP features cross-genre dance music from club bangers to melodic anthems to progressive-house and includes an impressive fourteen tracks. Some of the tracks are already released and others are new today. The EP is also being released on Wall Recordings.

“Press Play” is packed with live set fixtures and many collaborations with artists who are signed to Afrojack’s Wall Recordings such as Chico Rose, Chasner, DISTO and Jewelz & Sparks. Fans will enjoy progressive-House-flavored singles like ‘When You’re Gone’ and ‘2012’ to club-oriented cuts such as ‘Let It Rip’ and ‘Own Game’. As the name says, this EP will make fans ‘Press Play’ in an instant and repeat the process to prolong the magic of this fourteen-track melodic journey.
“For me, this was more of a journey to show a different side of me with the different styles of music I’ve been doing,” Afrojack said. “I’ve been playing a lot of tracks with the new artists I signed to my label in my sets, so it made sense to put out all of the music fans have been hearing since Ultra this year on the EP. You’ll hear familiar and unfamiliar sounds with some great artists and I can’t wait for the fans to hear it all.
Named the #8 DJ in the world by DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll (his seventh consecutive year of appearing in the Top 10) and slated to continue that tradition through this year’s voting, Afrojack is one of the most popular dance music acts of today and a sought-after producer who’s won a Grammy for his and David Guetta’s remix of Madonna’s ‘Revolver’ and worked with everyone from Pitbull to Sting and Chris Brown. Coming from a two-year period that saw him drop an array of hits such as ‘Bad Company’ with Dirtcaps, ‘Helium’ with David Guetta and Sia, and a remix of U2’s iconic ‘Get Out Of Your Own Way’, Afrojack continues to bend genres as a musician with an admirable work ethic, huge output and peerless sense of what makes a record erupt in music scenes across the globe. Add to that the gamut of top-tier festivals he wrecks the mainstages of and you know Afrojack is in it to win it whenever he drops a new crowd favorite, let alone an entire fourteen-track EP.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Afrojack continues to impress with his worldwide hits and his album Press Play is jam packed with prime time material that any DJ or fan of big dancing beats will adore straight away. The album includes big room, dubstep, and electro house tracks that will keep dancefloors and car players pretty busy. Bringin it back is a powerful mixture of heavy dubstep beats, electronic melodies, big synthy hooks, clever vocal samples and rough distorted basslines. Let It Rip is banging booming groovy electro house with sharp basslines, stomping drums, strong vocals and playful melodies. Step Back is powerful to the bone like leaving unattended a massive bulldozer on the dancefloor without breaks to stop it. Own Game is an excessive big room monster with piano melody and pitched up vocal while the drop is big fat and ferocious to the max. Another Level makes use of robotic vocals while the drop is packed with distorted crazy basslines, heavy drums and razor sharp synths to cut you deep. When you're gone is more ladies friendly track with playful pizzicato style melody in the drop while the singing in the breakdown is smooth and romantic with piano melody to die for. One More Day is included on the fat future house meets big room and in your head Nicky Romero version that festival crowds super adore and they love to clap and jump along. Time is an excellent rave friendly track with rough stomping beats, smashing wonky basslines, cool vocal samples and very nice breakdown with trancy synthy melody perfect for time travel. 2012 is what festival big room sound is about. In your face no holes barred rough beats with harddance infusions to it. Very sweet breakdown followed by thunderous climax perfect to blow your whistles. Bassride as the track suggests is an unstoppable rough electro house smasher that relentlessly builds and keeps the audience bumping along and riding the bass. My City includes distorted vocals upon the wonky distorted basslines while the breakdown includes trap and dubstep sequences. Put It Down is dubstep with attitude that means fat, fast, furious, unconventional and outrageously gorgeous including an old school drum n bass sequence. Flawless Victory combines big synths, danceable dubstep beats and heavy bass while the drop goes the hard dance direction. Finally Pop That is raging, menacing, trap with heavy swinging rough beats while in the second part big epic synth is added to close the album in style. Afrojack service an album that represents what he plays in his sets without the pressure of delivering a worldwide hit. This is Afrojack back to his roots.[/content]

Emerging just in time to turn this year’s flurry of next-level festivals into even more of a scene-defining escapade, Nicky Romero unleashes his remix treatment onto the new single of Afrojack and German duo Jewelz & Sparks. Premiered by the Wall Recordings head honcho himself at EDC Las Vegas and played as the final track of his live set at The Flying Dutch last weekend, Nicky Romero’s remix adds a fresh scent of magic to their latest offering, ‘One More Day’.

Right in time to blow this summer's festivals off their hinges, Nicky Romero provides dance music lovers with a wonderful and above all blistering rendition. Turning ‘One More Day’ into a super-addictive Progressive House masterpiece, the Dutchman proves again why he’s widely considered one of dance music’s top acts.

The main man behind Protocol Recordings and a mainstay in DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 DJs poll, Nicky Romero is one of the artists who’ve put dance music on the map across the world. Judging by the massive success of singles such as ‘Sober’ (over 32 million streams on Spotify), ‘Iron’, ‘Legacy’ (both than 20 million streams on Spotify) and – of course – ‘I Could Be The One’ (with Avicii – close to 200 million streams on Spotify), the young Dutchman has mastered the art of creating globally acclaimed super hits. His remix of Afrojack and Jewelz & Sparks’ ‘One More Day’ fits the bill for the full 100% in that regard.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Afrojack x Jewelz & Sparks collaborated for the super stunning One More Day. Now the extremely handsome Nicky Romero comes on board to add his festival take with an excellent oldschool Swedish progressive house version with easy to digest beats, uplifting pizzicato synths and superb breakdown that continues on the trapish direction until the piano comes in and the track builds towards its intense and extremely powerful climax. Its huge version ready for summer festivals. We are gonna jump and sing a long to say the least. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

Throughout his over a decade long career, Afrojack has been indulging in a bevy of successful collaborations that spotlight the magnitude of his sound as well as that of his partners-in-crime. Today, the electronic music star has notched up another stellar offering as he joined forces with internationally acclaimed German DJ and producer duo Jewelz & Sparks for ‘One More Day’.

Smoothly transitioning from infectious pop into dance music and back, ‘One More Day’ sees Afrojack and Jewelz & Sparks deliver some of their best work to date. Laden with distinctly catchy rhythms, amazing vocals and a drop that makes every listener swoon, this song aims to splash its magic onto dancefloors and airwaves alike and is bound to see its creators reap the benefits of it. The news of this new track ‘One More Day’ comes on the heels of Afrojack announcing the ‘One More Day’ North American tour that will see him performing twelve shows in the U.S. and Canada this May.

Named the #8 DJ in the world by DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll (marking his seventh consecutive year of appearing in the Top 10), Afrojack is one of the most popular dance music acts of today and a sought-after producer, having worked with everyone from Pitbull to Sting and Chris Brown, and winning a Grammy for his and David Guetta’s remix of Madonna’s ‘Revolver.’ Coming from a busy January in 2018 that saw him both announce his return to Wynn, Las Vegas for his 2018 headlining residency and release an array of diverse hits such as ‘Bad Company’ with Dirtcaps, ‘Helium’ with David Guetta and Sia, and a remix of U2’s iconic ‘Get Out Of Your Own Way’, Afrojack has set his sights on making 2018 another colossal year and it’s clear that ‘One More Day’ is another big step in that direction.

Hailing from Germany, Jewelz & Sparks have been on many a dance music fan’s shortlist since 2012. Sporting a signature sound that hits freakishly hard and shines through in their productions as well as their live sets, they’ve rocked more than ten of DJ Mag’s Top 100 clubs (in addition to holding a residency at Club Octagon – #6 in the list) and continually wreak havoc on the mainstages of globally esteemed festivals such as Ultra Europe and TomorrowWorld. With a track record that includes remixes for the likes of The Chainsmokers (‘Paris’), Benny Benassi (‘Satisfaction’) and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (‘The Hum’), releases on the labels of superstar DJs such as Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Tiësto, and collaborations with trailblazers such as Fedde Le Grand, Hardwell and now Afrojack, it’s safe to say these guys are skyrocketing to the top with the intention of staying put once they’ve reached it.

The Chainsmokers influence is all over the place so let's hope soon to get over this and return to big festival friendly tracks. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

Electro House with tough underground edge with dark rave synthy stabs and tough smoking drums along with sharp cranking basslines while on top sparkling old school hip house vocal samples complete the picture of an explosive electro house monster tune. Playful with ready to party written all over it. Predictable and bit formulaic but with these type of tunes you give what the clients want and the festival goers demand sounds that you can jump too and Keep It Low will blow them away. #PureBassPower Check it! If you love melodic progressive house, then you will no doubt have heard of Hellberg. The young talent from Stockholm, Sweden, has been crafting stunning slices of festival weaponry for several years now, racking up millions of streams online in the process.

All of that success hasn’t gone unnoticed, and this year legendary Dutch producer and DJ, Afrojack, picked up a brand new single from Hellberg in the form of All The Way. Premiered to over 150,000 people by the Wall Recordings boss at this year’s Tomorrowland festival, All The Way is possibly Hellberg’s most anticipated release to date.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Hellberg continues the epic melodic uplifting Swedish progressive house sound with great consistency and his output so far has been mouth dropping. His latest one All The Way on Wall recordings is a positive highly optimistic record with driving pulsating basslines, chunky bouncy grooves and massive uplifting piano chords and colourful pizzicato synths that explode out of proportion and ensure that you will jumping and pumping until there is no energy left in your body anymore. #PureGold Love it [/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The latest single by Fais  featuring Afrojack  gets the remix treatment in a super large package and we have in our hands some of them to give our verdict. Firstly Matisse & Sadko bring the track to the mainstage with pulsating basslines, pounding drums while the breakdown has a tropical trap house touch and the drop is intense in true Swedish house epic style for sure. DubVision deliver the electro house version that bangs with energetic sharp electrified basslines, pounding rough drums, melodic smooth breakdown with uplifting 90's piano chords and insane out of this world rough and  pumping drop to bring eargasmic climax. , Tom & Jame is powerful as it can gets with tough slamming basslines, bulldozer style grooves, mesmerizing breakdown with opportunity to clap your hands followed by the maddening hands in the air climax. KIIDA remix is pumping and bouncy to the max with harddance basslines and dirty dutch flavour, Finally for the drum n bass fans the stunning Champion remix will carry you away for a magical journey of blissful sounds and energetic driving beats. #PureGold Love IT [/content]
