Mochakk, Solarce Brothers, Josh Baker, SPFDJ, Paul Hartnoll (Orbital), Gideon Berger, Pedro Winter (Busy P) and Sarah Williams are among the latest additions to the ADE Pro Conference for its 30th anniversary edition. The announcement builds on earlier reveals, including Jean-Michel Jarre as Guest of Honour and the first ADE Pro speakers Mosimann, Novah, and LYZZA. Alongside ADE Pro’s focus regions, Brazil, MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa, the latest speaker additions expand conversations around the event’s three key themes: Market Consolidation and the Future of Independence, Rebuilding Our Relationship With (Big) Tech, and Collective Action.
These latest additions to the Conference’s program contribute to a program that examines how electronic music is evolving both creatively and structurally. Their sessions explore the rise of new regional scenes, artist-led businesses, emerging technologies, independent culture and music's role in driving social change. Brazilian artists Mochakk and Solarce Brothers join ADE Pro as part of a wider focus on Brazil, one of the key regions highlighted for the 30 YEARS ADE edition. Josh Baker joins 'Artist as Entrepreneur', examining how artists are building labels, festivals, educational platforms and businesses alongside their creative careers. Following her ADE Lab appearance in 2025, SPFDJ returns to ADE as part of this year's Pro program, while Pegassi as well as duo Mathame contribute perspectives on technology and creativity.  The announcement also includes several conversations that connect directly to ADE Pro's 2026 themes. Ed Banger founder Pedro Winter (Busy P) and Because Music founder Emmanuel de Buretel reflect on two decades of collaboration, exploring how their partnership helped shape one of contemporary music’s most influential independent ecosystems and what it reveals about the future of independent music. Paul Hartnoll of Orbital joins 'The Ethics of the Sample: Collaboration, Consent and Credit Across Cultures', coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Orbital's landmark album In Sides. Gideon Berger, Sarah Williams and Matt Black join the panel 'The State of Emergency: Music Leaders at the Forefront of Change', exploring how music communities can mobilise people toward solidarity and action. ADE Pro takes place during Amsterdam Dance Event from 21 - 25 October 2026 in Amsterdam. The 30th anniversary edition reflects on three decades of electronic music culture while looking ahead to the challenges and opportunities that will define its next chapter. Access to the ADE Pro Conference and networking program is available with an ADE Pro Pass, now still available at Early Bird rate. More speakers and sessions will be announced in the coming months. Following the fire that occurred during the build-up of Tomorrowland Belgium 2025, WEAREONE.world, the municipalities of Boom and Rumst, and the Governor of the Province of Antwerp established a joint protocol for a thorough and independent evaluation of the festival’s safety approach. The comprehensive risk analysis was conducted under the coordination of the Crisis Governance Chair of the University of Antwerp and combines insights from specialised studies on fire safety, crowd management and overall risk assessment.

The report’s conclusions are clear: Tomorrowland’s objective risk profile is considered low to moderate, and no fundamental structural changes to the organisation of the festival are required. Both in terms of fire safety and evacuation capacity, the current approach proves to be largely robust.

The analyses show that, in emergency situations, visitors can quickly reach a safe area and that even in exceptional scenarios evacuation times remain within the established safety standards.

At the same time, the experts formulated several targeted optimisations and additional recommendations. Many of these measures had already been initiated by the Tomorrowland organisation during or immediately after the 2025 edition, independently of the analysis, and are now being further reinforced in close cooperation with the relevant authorities, emergency services and safety services. The shared ambition remains clear: guaranteeing a safe festival environment for visitors, staff, partners and local residents.

Concrete reinforcements towards 2026

Safety management at an event such as Tomorrowland is not a static document, but a continuous process of evaluation, testing and optimisation. After every edition, existing emergency scenarios, crowd flows, technical installations and intervention procedures are reviewed together with fire services, police, medical services, authorities and external experts. The recent analysis largely confirmed this approach, while also identifying additional optimisations that are now being accelerated.

In consultation with all involved partners, several additional measures will be further implemented and refined in the coming period, including:

1. Enhanced crowd monitoring

Additional investments will be made in real-time crowd intelligence through LiDAR technology and density monitoring. This will allow live monitoring of visitor flows and crowd density, enabling operational teams to respond quickly to congestion, delays or evacuation scenarios. These systems will be integrated into the festival’s central command structure (ECC).

2. Additional fire response teams

In cooperation with the fire brigade, additional pre-positioned intervention teams will be deployed at strategic locations such as the MainStage and The Great Library. This will allow even faster responses to technical incidents or emerging fire situations.

3. MainStage passageways and evacuation tunnels

The evacuation tunnels and passageways at the MainStage will receive additional protection to ensure they remain operational and accessible throughout the necessary evacuation period in the event of an incident.

4. Backup teams

Additional backup teams will be provided for critical operational and safety functions to ensure continuity, including during prolonged periods of increased operational pressure.

5. Show stop procedures

Show stop procedures will be further refined to allow faster and more centralised communication, music interruption, evacuation instructions and crowd flow management.

The analysis also highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and close cooperation between the Tomorrowland organisation, authorities and emergency services. Therefore, continued engagement with local residents and partners will remain an important focus in the coming period.

The Tomorrowland organisation, the municipalities of Boom and Rumst, the Province of Antwerp and all involved services will continue to work closely together in the years ahead to further strengthen the festival’s safety approach on a continuous basis.

BMC - Where Beats Means Business

21:53:00

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s leading festival and business platform for electronic music, is proud to kick off its landmark 30 YEARS anniversary edition. To commemorate three decades of innovation and cultural impact, ADE has invited electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre as special guest of honour in this defining year, for a standout Opening Concert at AFAS Live on October 21st, an exclusive keynote interview at ADE Pro, and other appearances. ADE 2026 is set to take place October 21 - 25, 2026.

ADE 2026 marks a historic convergence in electronic music legacy; as ADE celebrates its 30-year anniversary, Jean-Michel Jarre reflects on the 50th anniversary of Oxygène. This pioneering masterwork is recognised as a lasting artistic experiment that has stood the test of time, influencing generations of artists who have found their home at ADE over the past three decades.

Jean-Michel Jarre: ADE Opening Concert at AFAS Live

As part of ADE’s Opening Concerts, Jean-Michel Jarre returns to the Netherlands for an exclusive live performance at AFAS Live, presented by MOJO and Insomniac. This immersive show translates his legacy of large-scale spectacles into a cutting-edge live experience at one of Amsterdam’s staple venues.
“Electronic music, as well as ADE, has a history, a legacy and a future. The live show at ADE is going to celebrate its 30th anniversary, but also the 50th anniversary of Oxygène. I have the ambition to keep the suspense and go from one track to another, into a different atmosphere, different stage design, mapping, giant projections and architectures of lights and videos, to share that moment that can stay in your heart and your brain for the rest of your lives - This is the reason I’m so happy to be part of this celebration in 2026.” - Jean-Michel Jarre
Beyond the live concert, Jarre’s involvement in ADE 2026 bridges the origins and future of electronic music at ADE Pro with an exclusive keynote interview, alongside more surprises. From early studio experimentation to concerts that transformed entire cityscapes into shared listening spaces, his influence runs through half a century of the culture. As an artist who has always placed technology, light, and sound at the core of his work, Jarre is set to engage with the ADE community throughout the event’s program tracks. More details are soon to follow.

The first wave of talks have been announced for IMS Ibiza 2026, presented in partnership with AlphaTheta.

35 Years of Nervous Records will celebrate one of the most influential imprints in dance music history, Market Focus - Brasil: From Identity to Impact, will explore one of the fastest-growing and most culturally influential countries for electronic music markets in the world. Plus, the program will feature Keynote Interviews with Maykel Piron, CEO of Armada Music Group and Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder, & CEO of The Night League & Ushuaïa Entertainment.

Meet The Team: Josh Baker and The Future of Sónar - Meet The New Team will spotlight the people behind two dynamic forces shaping today’s scene, while Eastern Europe on the Rise: New Voices, New Futures presented by Telekom Electronic Beats, will highlight the artists and innovators pushing the region to the forefront.

This year’s theme, Reclaim the Dancefloor, sits at the centre of the programme, a call to reconnect with the culture, community, and shared experiences that define electronic music

Reclaim The Dancefloor: Inside the Theme Shaping IMS Ibiza 2026

The theme of IMS Ibiza 2026 is Reclaim The Dancefloor, a response to a pivotal moment for the global electronic music community, as its culture and foundations are increasingly shaped by forces beyond the dancefloor.

As private investment, consolidation, the acceleration of AI, shifting audience behaviours, and rapid digital innovation redefine how music is created, distributed, experienced, and monetised, IMS Ibiza will bring together artists, industry leaders, and cultural custodians to examine what is being gained, what is being lost, and what must be protected.

Across the Summit, the programme will explore how the values that once defined electronic music can survive scale without dilution, how digital distraction is reshaping the shared rituals of the dancefloor, and how the community can reclaim agency over its culture in an ever-evolving industry.

As always, IMS Ibiza 2026 is being built as an ambitious and carefully curated programme, shaped by the conversations the industry needs to be having right now. With each edition, demand continues to grow, and 2026 is no exception. Delegate badge prices are set to increase as the Summit nears and official partner hotels are already seeing rooms booking up. Those planning to join the global electronic music community in Ibiza this April are encouraged to secure their place early, as availability across badges and accommodation is expected to sell out as the summit approaches.

IMS Ibiza, presented in partnership with AlphaTheta, is proud to announce Yann Pissenem as the headline Keynote Speaker of the 2026 summit and also the recipient of the IMS Legends Award 2026.
‍
A pioneering figure in global nightlife and music entertainment, Yann Pissenem is Owner, Founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment and creative visionary behind some of the world’s most iconic and influential venues, including Ushuaïa Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, [UNVRS], and Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience. With more than 30 years of experience, he has played a defining role in transforming Ibiza into the global epicentre of electronic music and club culture. A dynamic innovator, his work has consistently pushed the boundaries of what nightlife can be by combining music, design, technology and human connection to create immersive, world-class experiences.

Driven by a relentless passion for innovation, creativity and excellence, Yann continues to shape the modern nightlife landscape one groundbreaking venue at a time. Today, The Night League welcomes over two million guests annually, setting new standards for scale, quality and cultural impact, while Yann remains at the forefront of redefining the future of global nightlife and music entertainment. Following a Keynote Interview with IMS co-founder Pete Tong delving into one of the most fascinating careers in the music industry, Yann will be formally presented with the IMS Legends Award 2026 during a celebratory dinner held during IMS Ibiza.

Yann Pissenem, Owner, Founder and CEO of The Night League and Ushuaïa Entertainment, says:

“I am truly honoured to receive this recognition from IMS. Ibiza has been my home and my inspiration for many years, and the island, with its unique spirit, creativity and freedom, has shaped not only my work, but also my entire understanding of nightlife and electronic music culture.

Looking back on this journey, I am above all filled with gratitude. To my partners, whose trust and shared vision have been essential from the very beginning, and to my brother, with whom I have shared every step of this adventure. Thank you all for believing, for constantly pushing further, and for walking this path together.

Along the way, I have been fortunate to cross paths with artists at various stages of their careers. Some joined us as emerging talents and have since become defining figures of our industry; others were already established artists who believed in our vision from the very first moment, and who, decades later, still consider our venues their home.

I also wish to express my deepest thanks to the bookers, managers, agents, promoters, creative partners and the wider music industry that surrounds and supports our work everyday. What began as professional collaboration has, over the years, grown into a true extended family built on trust, respect and shared values. And most of all, to the extraordinary teams behind the scenes across every department, and to all staff members whose passion, dedication and tireless work bring our venues to life.

Seeing our three venues, Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza and [UNVRS], recognised among the best in the world is not an end in itself, but a reflection of our shared passion: the desire to continually push boundaries, to pursue excellence without compromise, and to believe that nightlife can create unforgettable moments that transcend the ordinary.

This award belongs to everyone who has been part of that vision. It would not be possible without the loyalty and trust of our audience. To see more than two million people choose our dancefloors in the past year alone, is both deeply humbling and a great responsibility. I feel immense pride for what we have built together, and sincere appreciation for all those who continue to make this journey possible.”
The IMS organisation states:
“We are very proud to honour the career of Yann Pissenem at the 17th edition of IMS Ibiza. As this year’s recipient of the IMS Legends Award, there can be nobody more deserving from the nightlife world. He has transformed the island of Ibiza on countless occasions, from his first events on the sand, breaking DJ residency rules when opening Ushuaïa, launching Hï to a new generation, right up to the launch of [UNVRS] last year. He leads an incredible team of people at The Night League, assisted by his brother Romain’s pioneering production company High Scream. A true visionary, he’s changed the rules again and again, and one wonders what the next move will be.”
The IMS Legends Award dinner will take place on Wednesday 22 April as part of IMS Ibiza. With a very limited number of tickets to be released, those wishing to attend are invited to sign up for further information and to register their interest in purchasing tickets.
