With recent club dates taking her from Honolulu to Rotterdam, Hong Kong to Las Vegas, Singapore to London, Sarah de Warren steps briefly off the road to unveil her latest single. Swapping the bold mainstage techno energy of recent releases ‘What U Like’ and ‘Games’, she links up with CIRCA96 (a.k.a. Craig Connelly) for the trance-tipped ‘Breathing Underwater’.

A return to her roots, Breathing Underwater reveals another side of Sarah’s artistry - the emotional songwriter behind the club records. Floating over the production with soaring, ethereal vocals, she taps into the more vulnerable edges of her sound while keeping the intensity intact.

Built around themes of devotion, surrender and love beyond limitation, the track pairs vivid lyricism with a sense of emotional escapism, designed as much for the heart as the dancefloor.

Having created quite the CIRCA96-stir of late (not least with his remix of Ton TB’s ‘Electronic Malfunction’, which Tiësto used to ignite Dreamscape), Craig Connelly’s weighs in on the production side. He outfits ‘Breathing Underwater’ with shimmering arpeggios, cascading synths, bleeped lament and a pulsating drive that amplifies Sarah’s message beyond measure.

Breathing Underwater is the third single to be taken from Sarah de Warren’s forthcoming six-track Summer 2026 EP, available now via all streaming platforms HERE

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Sarah de Warren x CIRCA96’s “Breathing Underwater” is a masterclass in uplifting vocal trance, delivering exceptional quality across every technical and artistic dimension. From the very first beat, the rhythm, groove, and drive are immediately captivating, propelled by a 140 BPM pulse that energizes the listener without ever feeling rushed. The melodic hooks and harmonic layers interweave effortlessly, with shimmering arpeggios and cascading synths that create a lush sonic tapestry. Each transition, drop, and build-up is meticulously crafted, balancing anticipation with emotional release, ensuring energy flow and momentum never falter throughout the track. The sound design and production quality shine with clarity and precision, with razor-sharp uplifting synths and punchy, well-balanced basslines that give the track its euphoric edge. The arrangement demonstrates originality, avoiding formulaic structures while maintaining cohesion and storytelling; every section leads naturally into the next. Effects and spatial design are used masterfully, with reverbs and delays creating a sense of immersion that places the listener firmly inside the soundscape. The dynamic range and loudness balance are expertly managed, allowing the track to breathe while maintaining the power needed for club and festival systems. Atmosphere and immersion are heightened by Sarah’s soaring, ethereal vocal performance, which delivers lyrical depth and emotional resonance that connects instantly. Her performance reflects devotion, surrender, and love without limitation, and the combination of melody and vocal phrasing ensures creativity and artistic identity remain front and center. Catchiness and replay value are virtually guaranteed; every listen reveals another detail in the harmonic layers or vocal inflections. The track’s intro and outro structures are DJ-friendly, with BPM consistency and loop potential ensuring easy integration into live sets, enhancing dynamic energy and crowd reaction potential in both club and festival environments. Beyond its technical brilliance, “Breathing Underwater” offers profound benefits for mental health, fitness, and wellness applications. Research in music therapy indicates that uplifting electronic music can stimulate the release of dopamine and endorphins, enhancing mood and reducing stress (Chanda & Levitin, 2013). The consistent 140 BPM tempo aligns with the optimal range for aerobic exercise, supporting rhythm-based movement in fitness and dance classes (Thaut et al., 2014). Additionally, studies suggest that exposure to emotionally resonant music can promote emotional regulation and even improve cognitive performance (Särkämö et al., 2013). The euphoric nature of this track, paired with its immersive sound design, makes it an ideal candidate for both high-energy workouts and mental wellness sessions, offering listeners a sense of escape and renewal. #PureGold Love It [/content]

Spirit.

If there’s one aspect that the studio unification of Craig Connelly and Liel Kolet brings, it’s exactly that. They did it first through the freefalling rush of ‘Be As One’, and bright and blinkingly early in 2026, they’re at it again with the zenith-touching ‘Endless Sky’.

Craig, it won’t have escaped your attention, has been on quite the hot run with hi-viz collabs of late, no better evidenced than his stellar ‘Other Side Of The World’ with HALIENE and ‘Black Hole’ voiced by Christina Novelli (both to which appeared on his ‘Discovery Vol. 1’ album last year).

With Liel though it’s a different kind of chemistry, and it’s one that’s intrinsically linked to the dancefloor.
The California-based singer explains the personal spark that set her ‘Endless Sky’ words in motion. “In 2017, I had my first EDC experience. I remember standing in the crowd, feeling that unreal energy, being part of something so big that revolves entirely around music. In that moment, I felt a deep sense of belonging. I knew I wanted to be part of the electronic music world and create songs that could make people feel the way I felt that night.

When I sent my vocals to Craig, he instantly understood the vision and knew exactly where to take it. After ‘Be As One,’ I couldn’t imagine a better follow-up, and I truly hope you love ‘Endless Sky’ as much as we do !”
To that, Craig’s anchored Liel’s song to a big, no-nonsense trancer: rolling bass, finely-tuned percussion, drum resonance and widescreen synths, all of which build its atmosphere unstintingly. When it opens up, the leadline does so with the kind of intensity that effortlessly lifts rooms, arenas and stages alike.

The ‘Be As One’s loop closes with ‘Endless Sky’. It lands today and you can find it right here

[item value="10"]Craig Connelly & Liel Kolet - Endless Sky [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Craig Connelly & Liel Kolet’s “Endless Sky” is a masterclass in euphoric trance production, seamlessly blending top-tier technical execution with emotional resonance. From the first beat, the track establishes a hypnotic rhythm, driven by a tight percussive groove and a rolling bassline that creates an irresistible sense of forward momentum. This rhythm section provides a stable foundation for the intricate melodic hooks and harmonic layers that unfold throughout the arrangement, demonstrating a nuanced understanding of how to balance tonal richness with clarity. The track’s transitions, drops, and build-ups are executed with deliberate precision, using automation, filtered sweeps, and dynamic modulation to keep the energy flow consistent and engaging. This orchestration allows the track to peak and release in ways that feel both natural and exhilarating, perfectly calibrated for dancefloor impact. The sound design and production quality of “Endless Sky” are meticulous, with each synth, effect, and vocal element occupying a purposeful space in the mix. Widescreen synths and resonant, airy pads create an immersive spatial environment, while the lead melodies soar with an emotive intensity that defines uplifting trance. By employing sidechain compression, multi-band EQ, and reverb shaping, the track achieves a vibrant loudness balance and dynamic range that prevents listener fatigue while maintaining club-ready punch. The arrangement itself reflects originality and cohesion, telling a story that guides the listener from introspection to euphoric release, exemplifying both creative artistry and structural intelligence. Effects such as stereo imaging, delay modulation, and subtle reverb tails contribute to a sense of three-dimensional immersion, ensuring that every moment feels alive and vibrant. Liel Kolet’s vocal performance is central to the track’s narrative arc, delivering lyrics that evoke belonging and transcendence, which resonate deeply with audiences. Her voice is processed with warmth and clarity, blending harmoniously with the instrumental layers without losing emotional intimacy. The track’s catchiness and replay value are undeniable, with its chorus and lead motif easily embedding themselves in memory. These elements make it highly suitable for club and festival environments, with a 140 BPM structure that DJs can integrate seamlessly into sets. Its intro and outro are crafted for mix-friendly cueing, offering clear loop potential and aiding set flow. The track’s energy curve is carefully plotted to maximize crowd reaction, elevating the experience of both casual listeners and dedicated trance enthusiasts. Beyond its technical merits, “Endless Sky” holds remarkable potential for enhancing mental health, fitness, and wellness experiences. Scientific research has demonstrated that listening to uplifting, high-tempo electronic music can increase dopamine levels, reduce stress, and improve mood regulation (Thoma et al., 2013; Koelsch, 2010). Its 140 BPM tempo aligns with optimal heart rate zones for aerobic exercise, making it ideal for running, cycling, and high-intensity interval training. The euphoric melodies and structured drops stimulate emotional release and flow states, which have been linked to improved cognitive performance and stress recovery (Csikszentmihalyi, 1990; Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). In group fitness or dance therapy settings, tracks like “Endless Sky” promote social connection and enhance perceived exertion through rhythmic entrainment, further amplifying the psychological and physiological benefits. The combination of technical mastery, emotional depth, and scientifically supported wellness effects solidifies “Endless Sky” as a benchmark for contemporary trance. It is not just a track to be heard but an immersive experience that lifts mind, body, and spirit. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

Craig Connelly, one of the most respected names in trance, returns with Eclipse the Sun - a glowing example of how timeless craft can evolve without losing its core. Craig continues to refine his sound with precision and feeling. Built around an acid-ridden intro and a sun-drenched breakdown, Eclipse the Sun is a track that invites you to breathe. To take a step back. To imagine yourself barefoot on the sand, watching the light fade, cold drink in hand.

[item value="10"]Craig Connelly - Eclipse The Sun [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Craig Connelly’s “Eclipse the Sun” is a masterclass in modern uplifting trance, expertly balancing timeless melodic sensibilities with cutting-edge production techniques. Operating at a driving 138 BPM, the track opens with a razor-sharp, acid-infused intro that immediately establishes energy and tension. The low-end is sculpted with a tight, punchy bassline layered beneath metallic, sidechained kicks that cut through the mix with precision, giving DJs an easy and powerful tool for seamless transitions in peak-time sets. The breakdown is where Craig’s craftsmanship truly shines. Lush, sun-soaked pads and ethereal ambient layers wash over the listener, creating a cinematic atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Subtle vocal chops drift in and out, teasing the main theme before the mix strips down to a serene, almost Balearic calm. This interlude also features a delicate, Balearic-inspired guitar riff that runs throughout the climax, adding warmth and an organic texture that beautifully complements the otherwise electronic palette. As the track builds, Craig leverages filtering and reverb automation to carefully lift the energy. The melodic lead gradually unfolds, revealed in all its euphoric glory during the extended breakdown. When the supersaws crash back in, supported by layered plucks and swelling white noise, the sense of release is immense—this is the kind of moment that sends hands into the air and keeps dancers floating in that trance-induced bliss. For fellow uplifting trance DJs, “Eclipse the Sun” is pure gold: it’s club-ready, festival-friendly, and emotionally resonant. The precise EQing and stereo imaging ensure it will hit hard on large sound systems, while the long, atmospheric breakdowns give room for crowd interaction and creative mixing. From its acid-driven pulse to its Balearic guitar-infused climax, Craig Connelly has delivered a track that honors the genre’s roots while pushing its production standards ever higher. Any DJ looking to elevate their set with a track that blends power, melody, and emotion will adore this release. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

[item value="10"]Warrior - Warrior (CIRCA96 Remix) [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]This blistering new take on the early-2000s classic "Warrior" delivers an electrifying peak-time thrill from start to finish. Courtesy of CIRCA96, the brainchild of renowned producer Craig Connelly, this rendition encapsulates the essence of high-octane tech-trance with a modern twist, showcasing meticulous production techniques and a masterful arrangement. At a pulsating 140 BPM, the track is an energetic powerhouse, characterized by its pounding tech-trance rhythm. The foundation is laid with a robust, techy kick drum, crisp and punchy, providing the driving force that cuts through the mix with precision. Layered atop are metallic, reverberating drums that add a sharp, industrial edge, enhancing the track's aggressive undertone. The basslines are a notable highlight—deep, pulsating, and meticulously side-chained to the kick for maximum impact, creating a rolling groove that propels the track forward. CIRCA96 employs dynamic EQ automation to ensure the bass maintains clarity without overwhelming the mid and high frequencies, a testament to Connelly’s production prowess. The breakdown is a masterclass in contrast and tension-building. It features old-school rave piano chords, a nostalgic nod that bridges the classic and contemporary elements seamlessly. These chords are processed with subtle reverb and delay effects, adding a spacious, atmospheric quality. The inclusion of a well-known female vocal sample, skillfully chopped and time-stretched, adds an emotive layer, drawing listeners into a hypnotic trance. As the track ascends from the breakdown, it transitions into a dark, climactic section enriched with sharp acid overtones. This is achieved through the use of resonant 303-style synth lines, modulated with precise filter sweeps and resonance adjustments to create a spiraling, hypnotic effect. The acid elements are further enhanced with distortion and phaser effects, adding grit and texture. The hypnotic atmosphere is maintained through the clever use of atmospheric pads and subtle background FX, including white noise risers and reverse cymbals, which contribute to the track's relentless energy and continuity. The meticulous attention to detail in the automation of these elements ensures smooth transitions and dynamic progression throughout the track. In conclusion, this CIRCA96 reimagining of "Warrior" is not just a tribute to a classic but a testament to modern production mastery. It’s a perfect tech-trance hybrid that showcases Craig Connelly’s ability to blend intensity, emotion, and technical sophistication, earning its place as a #PureGold release. Love IT[/content]

For many, June’s release of Craig Connelly and HALIENE’s ‘Other Side Of The World’ delivered one of the most memorable (and downright singable!) floor-anthems of the summer. Was there any reason, the pair wondered, that the track couldn’t pull off the same feat in winter!?

Time to find out …

From his ‘Skygarden’ debut, Daxson’s gone on to become a mainstay of festival & arena events; served one floor-fuelling release after another, and in 2022 delivered his critically applauded first album. Oh, and he’s proved himself a highly capable set of remix hands too - something not lost on Craig Connelly. Craig originally tapped Daxson for a remix of his ‘Anything Like You’ a few years back. With that in mind, when it came to winter-warming ‘Other Side Of The World’, there was no other name on his list …

The Coldharbourite’s treatment takes the stylistic ground already covered by the original wholly into account. While Craig & HALIENE’s version had the melodic, harmonic and uplifting ends on lock, Daxson delivers something later-night-lethal. He’s charged up the bass-batteries, gone full-focal on HALIENE’s vocal, and rewired it into a savage garden of drum-pump, mainline rip and sonic soar.  One for to-the-dawn merchants out there, you can find streaming and sales options for Daxson’s ‘Other Side Of The World’ rework here

After a hot run of 2022 releases on his own Higher Forces imprint, Craig Connelly’s been spreading the label love farther afield this year. Respectively, Kearnage and Subculture received ‘Spicy Broth’ and ‘Excelsior’, while - in its formidable Giuseppe Ottaviani remix form, Black Hole the label brought back ‘Black Hole’ the track.

With summer’s starting pistol now well and truly fired, Black Hole Recs return with more Connelly finery, as Craig and HALIENE give us the ‘Other Side Of The World’.

The duo’s already studio-connected to some degree, when Craig remixed HALIENE’s ‘Glass Heart’ from the artist’s hit album ‘Heavenly’. From there, the artists searched for something that would bring them closer together still... and somewhat ironically that took them to the ‘Other Side Of The World’.

Dealing with our biggest shared experience of modern times, the track might be the most relatable thing you hear this year. HALIENE channels the moments when everything beyond our doorstep felt like the other side of the world, into the longing sentiments of her song.

Craig balances the separational ache of HALIENE’s words with a production-spirit that keeps on elevating till there’s no more elevating to be done! A beacon for reconnection, Craig & HALIENE’s debut track together arrives today.

Brace yourself because we have a huge trance banger for you! Like we knew he would, Craig Connelly delivers a high-quality remix of JES’ Love My Way. Just the way we love it!

Lyrics

There's an army on the dance floor
It's a fashion with a gun, my love
In a room without a door
A kiss is not enough in

Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes

They'd put us on a railroad
They'd dearly make us pay
For laughing in their faces
And making it our way
There's emptiness behind their eyes
There's dust in all their hearts
They just want to steal us all
And take us all apart
But not in

Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes

Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes

Love my way, it's a new road
I follow where my mind goes

So swallow all your tears, my love
And put on your new face
You can never win or loseIf you don't run the race
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah

Ah-hoo
Ah-hoo
Ah-hoo

Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh
Ahh-ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh-ahh-ahh, ahh

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]JES is super lucky to have some of the biggest names in the trance scene remixing her brilliant songs. Time for the one and only  Craig Connelly to service his remix on Love My Way, her excellent cover on the The Psychedelic Furs track from 1982. As you can expect from Craig he adds to the proceedings his pounding energetic driving basslines, thumping drums, pounding kicks, aggressive synthy stabs and he builds an excellent uplifter where the voice of JES is highlighted enough along with the euphoric but still with slightly dark edge synths, on the way that only Craig knows how to deliver and carry us all along in his journey around the world. Magnificent sounds and with that touch of the 80's electro pop too. It is such a nice opportunity for the younger generation to get to know the original in such an anthemic and epic way. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Craig Connelly arrives on Subculture with his superb aggressive full on uplifter Excelsior. The production as you can expect from Craig is just perfect with pounding drums, thumping driving basslines and slightly psy trance kicks plus of course acid overtones to keep firmly in the underground. The breakdown reveals the ethnic vocal sample that creates a sense of fulfillment and  adds the spiritual edge to it. The main synthy hook is very powerful and slowly builds the tension until it bursts all over the place energizing anyone who is under its influence. The climax comes after the masterful build up for the ultimate hands in the air moment. Just make enough space to  the dancefloor as this track will send many clubbers to space and beyond. We will be lifted to the skies instantly. Out of this world production. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

What better way to start 2K23 than spinning back ten years to a truly standout 2013 clubfloor moment?! And in perhaps another sign of the NY stars aligning, ‘Black Hole’ the track label-hops to Black Hole the label! Honestly, you couldn’t make it up ...

While Craig Connelly has remixed Christina Novelli’s work on several occasions, ‘Black Hole’ remains the pair’s singular studio outing. It could be supposed that having achieved artistic perfection with their chart topping original, the pair had said all they needed to say. That however doesn’t preclude some remixers from adding fresh dancefloor outlooks to the track. And in that, Black Hole Recordings have rolled out the big guns!

Giuseppe Ottaviani and Ferry Tayle are the remixers so-tasked and between them, they’ve brought many a new ten-years-later aspect to ‘Black Hole’.

First to the fore, Giuseppe pitch-bends his rework, maxing-out its peak-time floor penetration. With its rolling bassy resonance, the Italian adds warping FX and distortion, speeding it towards the drop. There, some of the darker senses of Christina’s ‘Black Hole’ lyrics manifest, ones that Ottaviani swiftly balances through euphoric snare, synth and string.

Panning away from out-and-out uplift, Ferry Tayle shifts the remix focus to what he does best … and masses those goosebump-inducing melodies and harmonies for his rework. In his hands, Christina’s song hits the most optimistic of notes and as his ripping sub-riffs join them, ‘Black Hole’ clears the break to set up another stunning early ‘23 clubfloor moment.

Take a trip through not one ... but two Black Holes here from today.

Tracklist:
01: Craig Connelly & Christina Novelli - Black Hole (Giuseppe Ottaviani Remix)

03: Craig Connelly & Christina Novelli - Black Hole (Giuseppe Ottaviani Extended Remix)

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Craig Connelly & Christina Novelli are responsible for one of the most iconic vocal trance anthems of all times called  Black Hole released on Garuda Music. Now the track returns on Black Hole recordings with new remixes by the hands of Giuseppe Ottaviani & Ferry Tayle. Giuseppe version is heavy ultra raw hybrid of tech and uplifting trance with grungy dirty basslines, pulsating grooves, punchy percussion and of course plenty of synthy hooks to support and enhance the stunning vocal delivery by Christina who simply has so much talent and grace with her gods gifted voice. If you like raw, dirty and moody techy version then this remix will make your day. On the other hand as we expect Ferry Tayle service the full on uplifting euphoric hands in the air version that continues the track were Craig has left it. Pounding drums, energetic in your face basslines, cool acid overtones and summery feel good Ibiza melodies, warm strings and magical sounds that will please your ears until the exceptional build up and the thunderous crescendo moment that will bring smile in your face while you singalong. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Instrumental uplifting trance is always a big challenge as it is based solely on the strength of the melodies incorporated and the space allowed for the various sound layers to shine. One of the finest example of straight to the point anthemic uplifting trance that is not exactly super happy but with heavy dose of melancholy and nostalgia is the brand new anthem by  Craig Connelly and James Cottle for the stunning Got To Give. An excellent tour de trance track with stunning floating fluttering synthy layers, magical pipe melody and construction that brings excitement, tension and release of all the burdens and worries in the fantastic climax. In-studio, Craig Connelly’s been grappling with a big idea of late. It’s one whose seed began during production of his July club hit ‘The Universal’ and now goes atomic through ‘The Creator’.

Specifically Craig’s been doing the big-think on how to create a track that fulfills both the atmospherically underground yin and - in a single swoop, the floor-rushing yang.

Not possible right?! Well that hasn’t deterred Mr. Connelly. So for Subculture Recordings 150th release, to nail it, he went to the outer limits.

Naturally balance is the key and in pursuit of it, ‘The Creator’ walks the finest of production tightropes. Its intro plays a classic long game, amassing an intense array of blacker elements to build it out. Craig allows greater time for its ether to brew, modulating those over a lower, lengthier, flowing, growing ascent. The drums speak loud while the bass resonates low and ‘The Creator’s FX bias lies unflinchingly at the moodier end.

For every synth shaft that breaks through, he counterweights with a darker element. For every melodic strain, Craig answers with a boomier drop or an even-more-thunderous-than-the-last, bass-heavy sequence. Even as the notes climb at the business end of the drop, he’s applies darker ballast and cooler vocal harmonics, ensuring its tone unwaveringly walks that line.

A track that’s all things to all men & women?! Find out for yourself here from today

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] Craig Connelly is one of the hottest UK properties in trance scene. His ability to deliver tracks with melodies that stand out is recognised and praised. Another opportunity to praise him arises from his latest Subculture outing The Creator. Here you got a powerful euphoric uplifting feel good trancer that its main foundation is aggressive fat stubborn drum and kick along with a bit of acid flavouring. The breakdown is smooth and heavenly with hints of the main theme and the brilliant build up towards the euphoric drop that simply rocks and shakes without any excuses or precautions.
