Creamfields, one of the world’s most influential names in dance music, has announced the launch of Creamfields Recordings, a new record label created to support, develop and elevate the next generation of electronic music artists.

The label is established in collaboration with Manchester-based music and culture company NQ, marking the start of an exciting chapter for both brands. Combining their strengths to build a global platform for new music releases, supporting both emerging and established talent.

Over the last 35 years Cream has evolved into a global force in electronic music, championing new and emerging talent and giving artists a platform to perform, many of whom have gone on to become some of dance music’s biggest players. What began in 1992 as a 400-capacity club in a disused warehouse in Liverpool has grown into a cultural phenomenon, laying the foundations for modern dance festivals worldwide through its award-winning flagship event – Creamfields.

Creamfields Recordings will build on this legacy, providing a dedicated space for emerging and established producers and DJs to release music, collaborate creatively and reach audiences on a global scale. The label will champion sounds from across the electronic spectrum, offering artists the opportunity to grow within one of the most respected ecosystems in dance culture.

NQ, a culture led music and entertainment company based in Manchester, operates across records, publishing and management. At the heart of this new collaboration is a shared belief that world class music and creativity can come from anywhere.
Commenting on the collaboration Michael Adex NQ CEO/Founder said “NQ was built in Manchester with the ambition of impacting the world from the North, so joining forces with Creamfields a powerhouse born from the same spirit feels like a natural evolution. Together, we’re creating a future facing label dedicated to discovering and developing breakthrough talent, elevating fresh voices onto one of the biggest stages in global dance and youth culture, and building meaningful careers with music that resonates worldwide.”
By combining Cream’s heritage in dance music with NQ’s creative energy and artist-first ethos, Creamfields Recordings will serve as a launch pad for talent at every level. From breakthrough producers to established names, the label will champion forward-thinking music whilst nurturing the next generation of artists.

The labels first release drops this Friday. For more information go to www.creamfieldsrecordings.com, Demo submissions can be sent to demos@creamfieldsrecordings.com

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields is going all out for its 20-year celebration at Daresbury, and its latest announcement is guaranteed to send a ripple of excitement through the dance community. Electronic icons Faithless are set to make their first live performance at Creamfields in over 20 years, taking over the legendary Steel Yard on Sunday 30th August Bank Holiday weekend 2026.

Few acts have left a mark on electronic music quite like Faithless. With a career spanning nearly three decades, the group has shaped the sound and soul of global dance culture. From era-defining anthems like Insomnia, God Is a DJ and We Come 1, to a catalogue boasting ten Top 10 singles, six Top 5 albums (including three No.1s) and the four-times platinum Forever Faithless – The Greatest Hits, their influence remains unmatched.

After releasing Faithless 2.0 in 2015, a greatest hits-slash-remix project featuring Avicii, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Claptone, the band stepped back from touring. While they’ve delivered DJ sets over the years, this marks their first full Faithless Live performance at Creamfields in over two decades, making it a defining moment for both the band and the festival.

The return of Faithless Live carries deep emotional resonance. Following the passing of frontman Maxi Jazz in 2022, the outpouring of love from fans around the world was a powerful reminder of the impact his words, voice and spirit had on generations of ravers. While Maxi’s presence will always be missed, Sister Bliss and Rollo now lead the project with renewed purpose, their 2024 album Champion Sound marking both a celebration of their roots and the beginning of a bold new chapter.

Their 2026 live show promises to be a vibrant, euphoric homage to the genre they helped define and a heartfelt tribute to the man who made millions dance as one.

As Creamfields gears up for another historic weekend, Faithless join a powerhouse lineup featuring Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Underworld, Armin van Buuren, Disclosure, Sonny Fodera, Amelie Lens and Ewan McVicar, among others. With 80,000 festival-goers set to descend on Daresbury from Thursday 27th – Sunday 30th August 2026, this milestone edition is shaping up to be a defining moment, bridging dance music’s golden past with its electrifying future.

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields is gearing up for a landmark year in 2026, celebrating two decades at its iconic home in Daresbury. Across the August Bank Holiday weekend—from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August 2026—80,000 fans from across the globe will gather for four days of groundbreaking production, a world-class lineup, and the electric atmosphere that has cemented Creamfields as the pinnacle of the dance music calendar.

Calvin Harris

To kick off the celebrations, Cream HQ announced GRAMMY Award-winning DJ & Producer Calvin Harris as a headliner. A firm Creamfields favorite, Calvin will make his highly anticipated return to the festival, taking over the legendary Arc Stage on Saturday 29th August. Since his 2009 debut, he has risen to become one of the biggest names in electronic music, most recently dominating the charts with his Track of the Summer hit “Blessings.” Over the years, Calvin has delivered some of the most iconic and talked-about performances in Creamfields history, making his return for this milestone edition especially fitting.

Armin van Buuren

Joining the celebrations, Dutch trance DJ/Producer Armin van Buuren has been confirmed as the first artist for the Apex Stage on Saturday 29th August. Few artists have defined dance music like Armin, a Grammy-nominated artist, five-time DJ Mag Top 100 DJs winner, and co-founder of Armada Music. He unites millions each week through his long-running radio show A State of Trance. From sold-out arena tours to commanding the main stages of the world’s biggest festivals, his euphoric, high-energy sets are legendary. This week, his impact on electronic music was honored with DJ Mag’s 2025 Outstanding Contribution Award, cementing his status as one of the genre’s true pioneers. Returning after a two-year hiatus, Armin is poised to deliver another unforgettable Creamfields performance.

Underworld

Another highlight for the 20th anniversary edition is the long-awaited return of electronic pioneers Underworld, who will take over the iconic Steel Yard on Saturday 29th August. One of Creamfields’ most legendary live acts, Underworld first debuted at the festival in 2002 and delivered an unforgettable performance in 2008 for the 10th anniversary. Now, almost two decades later, they return as “Born Slippy”—their timeless anthem that defined a generation—celebrates its 30th year. From shaping the underground to headlining global stages and soundtracking Olympic ceremonies, Underworld’s influence on electronic music is immeasurable. Their legendary live performances secure their place as one of the most vital and enduring acts in the scene, making their return a true full-circle moment.

Teletech

After a record-breaking debut in 2024, Manchester’s techno giants Teletech are set to return bigger than ever in 2026. On Friday 28th August, they will make their Steel Yard debut, taking control of the legendary superstructure renowned for its jaw-dropping production and 360° immersive experience. The takeover will be a one-night-only spectacle before continuing across the weekend in their own 15,000-capacity arena on Saturday and Sunday. Born in 2017, Teletech has become one of the UK’s most exciting club culture movements, celebrated for forward-thinking lineups, cutting-edge sound, and raw, unfiltered intensity that channels the spirit of the early 90s dance explosion. This year’s Steel Yard debut promises to be their biggest and most defining moment yet.

Sonny Fodera

Globally renowned DJ/Producer Sonny Fodera will close out the Bank Holiday weekend in style, headlining the legendary Arc Stage on Sunday 30th August. This will be Sonny’s only English festival appearance in 2026. Riding high on the success of his summer hit with Jazzy, “All This Time,” his signature groove-driven, emotive house sound has earned him sold-out tours, festival slots, and an Ibiza residency since his 2014 debut album. Following his monumental Steel Yard debut this year, Sonny’s return promises to be a defining moment in Creamfields’ 20-year celebrations.

With Calvin Harris, Armin van Buuren, Underworld, Teletech, and Sonny Fodera already confirmed—and many more announcements to come—Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields 2026 is set to be an unmissable 20th anniversary celebration, bridging generations of dance culture and delivering legendary moments that will define its legacy for years to come.
