Nicholas Gunn mentions on YouTube: Twenty-two years ago, my dear friend Alicia Salomon endured an unimaginable tragedy when a drunk driver took the lives of her infant son, infant niece, sister, and brother-in-law in a car accident. The weight of their loss has stayed with me since she first shared her story. 

Music has a way of connecting and healing us all and I've witnessed this firsthand in Alicia's story. Her family had found connection in my album, The Music of the Grand Canyon, during a trip together just before the tragedy. The album became a poignant reminder of their time together. 

More recently, when Alicia's mother passed away from cancer on December 5th, our song "For You" brought her comfort in her final hours, reuniting her with her loved ones in spirit. My upcoming album "30" celebrates three decades of music, shaped by stories like Alicia's. Though not my own, her story needed to be told. 

Collaborating with Richard Durand and Alina Renae, we've poured our hearts into "For You", a tribute to the Salomon and Hernandez families, in love and remembrance 🖤
