[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Set to blast this one throughout his summer residency at Hï, Ibiza, James Hype delivers a crowd-hyping take on Camisra’s rave classic ‘Let Me Show You’. This track seamlessly blends the iconic hook with his unmistakable signature sound, showcasing why he remains a pivotal figure in the U.K. dance music scene. From a technical standpoint, the track is a 132 BPM MainStage tech house stormer, meticulously crafted to energize large crowds. The production process highlights precision layering, starting with the foundation of heavy drums and punchy kicks that create a driving rhythmic pulse. These elements are reinforced by tough, techy grooves and robust basslines designed to synergize perfectly, ensuring dynamic movement throughout the track. James Hype’s use of playful, rave-infused synth hooks adds an element of nostalgia while maintaining modern freshness. The synths are likely processed with subtle modulation effects and EQ sculpting to achieve a crisp, vibrant sound that cuts through the mix. Additionally, the cool spoken vocal sample, merged seamlessly with authentic crowd shouts, adds an engaging, live atmosphere. This integration suggests advanced sampling techniques and careful attention to timing and spatial effects, enhancing the track's immersive quality. Overall, ‘Let Me Show You’ exemplifies club material at its best—crafted with technical finesse, thoughtful sound design, and keen attention to the dynamics that make dance floors erupt. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

About Insomniac

The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993. In 2013, Insomniac entered into a partnership with global entertainment company Live Nation.
James Hype makes his long-awaited return to the Insomniac Records imprint with his sophomore single ‘Lose Control’, a future festival and club staple in the making.
Building upon his ability to bring unforgettable vocals to the fore, ‘Lose Control’ finds James dusting off a classic R&B vocal from the ‘90s. Pitched-up while still retaining its soul-stirring quality, the iconic hook loops atop sharp claps, tension-building pads, and sporadic synth squelches. The full impact of the main refrain sets in as classic rave stabs and a jackin’ groove push the peak-time number over the edge.
Marking the 30th anniversary of Insomniac in style, ‘Lose Control’ is Hype’s follow-up to last year’s smash hit ‘Ferrari’, which peaked at #6 in the Official Charts and has over 400 millions Spotify streams.
As one of London’s most influential house exports, platinum-selling producer James Hype has been relentlessly engineering global hits that live up to the meaning of his namesake. In 2021, he partnered up with international phenom Vintage Culture on their massive collab ‘You Give Me A Feeling’, which enjoyed a torrent of tastemaker support from crews at BBC R1, Capital Dance, Kiss FM, Sirius XM and iHeart Radio. James Hype’s follow-up offering has all the right ingredients to make crowds succumb to the power of its title, arriving just in time ahead of his hotly tipped set at EDC Las Vegas next month.
One of the UK’s most successful artists, James Hype propelled onto the scene with platinum-selling, UK Top 10 debut single ‘More Than Friends’, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and later remixing tracks from chart toppers Joel Corry, Clean Bandit, Mabel and many more global talents such as Meduza and Bruno Mars.
‘Lose Control’ is destined to be another jewel in James Hype’s crown as the platinum-selling producer gears up for a summer of club mayhem, starting with his set at EDC Las Vegas next month.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] James Hype is one of the strongest talents out there with some gigantic hits under his belt. Lose Control is an excellent example of his ability to take all the great influences from the 90's and turn them into a huge current tech house banger. Pounding techy basslines, thumping kicks and old school percussion along with those pitched vocal samples and the 90's rave organ riffs turn this into a huge monster anthem that you can sense the crazy reactions on the big summer festivals mainstages. James can leave well upon the big Hype on his name and reputation as the most happening entertainer and musician. #PureGold Love IT [/content]
