1. Original Mix
2. Daz Bailey Remix
3. Andromedha's 'Beyond Space' Remix
4. Danny Stubbs' Dark Dub

Release number 14 takes us further to the dark realms, darker than any of our previous releases in fact.
Unique production, writing and a tension creating feeling on the original, accompanied by the spoken words of the title, prove to be a fascinating combination of elements.

The remixes.. Which actually make the package for us, two extremely different takes on the original version by two well respected & talented producers.

Daz Bailey provides a brilliantly produced & uplifting Progressive Trance version which shimmers with quality and paves the way for a peak time set.

Whereas rising star Andromedha chooses the deeper avenue, a strong pulsating bassline and an ethereal breakdown that just gives goosebumps to the unsuspecting listener.

Release Date - 22.06.15

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional label Empress recordings presents the awesome Space Music by the one and only Danny Stubbs. The original mix is a wonderful groovy progressive trancer that rocks with chunky grooves, moody synths and deep energetic basslines. The melody is emotional and the atmosphere you rightly guess that is spacey and dreamy. Superb neo trancer that will bring waves of anticipation on the dancefloors. Daz Bailey remix moves on the same direction with tougher metallic bassline, pounding groove and overall a much more prime time euphoric atmosphere that will be perfect for mainstage trance sets with the easily memorable melody. Andromedha remix takes things to the deeper progressive trance direction with excellent Coldharbour influences. Dark, brooding, moody production with fantastic rough basslines, sparkling grooves and great arrangement that will keep you booming and shaking for sure. If you want an alternative deeper darker version of Danny's original the package include it for you! #TrueTrance Love It

The 3 astronauts on board Apollo 8 became the first humans to travel beyond low Earth orbit, the first to see Earth as a whole planet, to directly see the far side of the Moon, and then the first to witness Earthrise.

This is something that in our lifetimes nearly all of us will probably never get to see and can only imagine, or try to express what we would feel if we were ever lucky enough to be in that position.

The View From Apollo (Original Mix) by Danny Stubbs was previously released by us as a 2 track EP alongside 'Search For Sirenia' in October 2014, and we felt that the melody and theme were worthy of a full release accompanied by a remix from somebody who would understand the theme and would do it justice.

That's why we chose Simon Templar, every single one of his originals and remixes capture a superb atmosphere. Simon's mix takes the original parts and gives them a dark, driving Prog Trance feel which gives you goosebumps. Nice punchy groove, clever melodies and distant atmospheric pads make this remix everything we hoped for.

Played and praised by Solarstone before hitting official promo as a world exclusive on Solaris International.

Finally to complete the package comes Danny Stubbs 'Earthrise mix'.. a beautiful and experimental twist.. a deep and pulsating chilled out remake.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Empress Recordings is one of those small independents that you should always keep an eye on and get surprised from the goodies you might get. The latest release comes from the hands of the owner Danny Stubbs and is a magnificent deep melodic progressive trance meets house composition that wins your interest because of the really beautiful melodies and the very inspirational ethnic vocal sample that takes you somewhere in Goa. Glowing synths, chunky grooves, playful basslines and another example of Danny's talent that is big promise for the future. He knows so well how trance works and give you goosebumps. Simon Templar is the right choice to transform the original into an uplfting euphoric journey with psy trance influences. If you adore trance that has substance, musicality and is all about the journey and less for cheap thrills and instant gratification this remix will tick all the right boxes. Hands in the air trance euphoria that puts a smile in your face and energise you pleasantly without to try to hard. Floating smooth uplifting sonic experience not to be missed. If you adore Cafe Del Mar style compilations don't miss the chill out remix that Danny did to blow out of order that is blissful, peaceful and radiates positivity on planet earth and beyond. #PureGold Love It

Q-Max Project, otherwise known as Andrew Cash/Sunlight Project has been kind enough to provide us with the parts to his Original work to release through Empress. The Original mix was previously released through Andrew's very own label AKA Digital.

Danny Stubbs steps up to the remix duties for this stand alone remix release.

If you like your melodies beautiful, your beats powerful and your bass driving, then this is for you.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Empress recordings is one of those small independent labels that you should have an eye on as it releases magical stuff like the latest one. The label honcho DannyStubbs abandons for a while his melodic progressive trance-house sound and moves on the full on uplifting trance sound that rocks hard and push adrenaline levels to its limits. He remixes the fantastic tune Universo by Q-max Project and it must be said that he did his best to impress and many wondering  how many different styles Danny Stubbs is able to produce and that he is definitely not a prisoner of his own style. His uplifting trance is rocking, dynamic, energetic and full on to the maximum with driving basslines invite you for a nice ride at the back of the flying Pegasus. The piano melody is heartfelt and really sweet while his breakdown is fantastic packed with classic trance euphoric synths and epic elements that can make you instantly escape to another dreamworld. The climax is quite tech trance with main focus on the basslines with some sprinkles of piano melody and at the last sequence the appearance of the main synthy lead. Serious, solid and tight trancer for the big venues this summer!Love it

01. Warehouse (Original Mix)
02. Warehouse (Sunlight Project Remix)

Dan Dobson joins us with a fantastically produced progressive trancer 'Warehouse.'

The original mix combines a pulsating bass line, clever riffs, powerful & wide drums and an epic breakdown. It contains all the ingredients to get a dance floor pumping.

Next up on remix duties is Sunlight Project, aka Andrew Cash. His mix goes a little darker & driving, really complimenting the melody. The use of gorgeous vocal stabs in the breakdown and a huge build, paving way for the ultimate payoff. A strong, main room package for sure, we love it and hope you will too.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Brand new emerging talent in the trance world is Dan Dobson from Manchester UK. His first Empress recordings release is called Warehouse and we deal here with  a powerful big room club banger that has the word quality written all over it. Driving, banging and energetic to the maximum carry us away to reach the melodic breakdown with awesome piano melody and massive epic euphoric synths that will cause excitement and wake up your senses.  The climax is super rough and ready for heavy action on the dancefloor. Well structured with rich layers of sounds to keep us busy dancing on the dancefloor. Second remix comes from Sunlight Project.  It moves on the same big room pathway but with much old school retro approach! With raw and edgy composition the track builds the various elements slowly and gradually to bring audio pleasure and raise intensity and adrenaline to its peak. The strong original synthy melody is epic to the core and will be the perfect excuse to let everything go and start jumping and pumping around when the beat strikes back for the massive hands in the air feel good climax. Two great versions for any trance lover! Love iT

The Original starts of with simple drums accompanied by a beautiful arpeggio melody which paves the way for a deep, full and pulsating bass groove.

Building nicely, a tease of sadness from the female vocal before the end of each section, introducing a haunting stutter crying from the distance.

The breakdown is equally as haunting as the story unfolds and the journey of The Nephilim s unravelled. Seeing the track through, the piano melody captures the imagination and creates a new atmosphere, then and repeats until its demise.

Nick Wolanski & Joachim Sundgren step up to the remix duties, providing a clean, wide and powerful club mix.Sharp drums and pumped up chords that build and build to a crescendo, drop to a twisted lead with a cool Portamento effect before building again and slamming back in with the drums.. keeping us in suspense throughout.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  Empress recordings always impress with its very different and stand out high class releases. The latest one comes from the hands of the label honcho Danny Stubbs who service the exceptional club smasher The Nephilim. The original mix is a much more sweet, gentle and sensitive affair. Really deep melodic progressive trancer with house groovy beats, driving energetic basslines, heavenly sweet voices and very strong melodic layers that carry you away for a nice relaxing journey. Blissful progressive sounds that can make you dance and relax at the very same time. Emotional dance music that can elevate us to become better, friendly and peacefull human beings. On the other hand Nick Wolanski & Joachim Sundgren on their remix they deliver a much more big room friendly version that particularly progressive house djs will adopt it easily for their sets. Its  tribal progressive house with very addictive rhythm and groove that will lock you in its irresistable groove easily. The melodic elements are changed in the way to fit the new progressive house enviroment and the result is a very strong peak time banger that djs like Axwell or Tiesto can play easily! Love iT

Our fifth release brings rising Italian stars Andrew Cash & Amax DJ to the realm of the Empress.

Andrew Cash impressed us previously in 2013 under his 'Sunlight Project' guise with beautifully structured emotional productions and consistency to match. So when we heard that he was willing to work with us in 2014 we were excited to say the least.

Their original starts off with power from the outset. Stamping its authority with the kick and bass groove in full swing, preparing us for a tease of a mysterious sustained synth developing into a full uplifting trance melody - unexpectedly.. Taking us through a powerful, orchestral and magical journey of progressive trance.

Physical Phase is on fire at the moment, his mix unleashes everything needed for an uplifting trancer. Shimmering production, a cinematic breakdown and build which even includes a fantastic Breaks section leading into a twisted metalised acidic drop before building into the room shaking payoff. This mix speaks for itself.

Sean Williamson (SeeNaY) makes his 2nd return to Empress. His previous visit was under his alter ego and partnership 'Juction 16' with Kev Atkinson.

He takes it in a more spacious, melodic and wonderfully produced direction. A powerful rolling bassline creating a wave of anticiaption before dropping to simplicity and sadness, then teasing with the bass note changes before floating into the beautiful string arrangement of the breakdown and complimenting the Original melody with a nice lead. The payoff is equally as good creating a euphoric climax.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Empress recordings is a label that manage to sustain high quality standards with its releases so far. The top label changes its more progressive trance direction and moves to the uplifting trance territory that will definitely make a change for many. Andrew Cash & Amax DJ presents the top  Dark Night. As the title suggests is a dark uplifting trancer with heavy kicks, driving energetic basslines and plenty of acid overtones as well. The melodic theme is really involving and attracts the attention of the clubbers without doubts. It has the word anthem written all over it. Physical Phase remix is a banging uplifting trancer with mechanical techy beats, powerful punchy driving basslines and hi-nrg synths that will impress your ears. The breakdown is long and atmospheric with piano chords, chorus style vocals and classical orchestral music themes. The climax starts quite tech trance but after a heavy overload of all themes moves to the uplifting territory for the final section.   SeeNaY remix is a deep progressive trance alternative version with electronica blissful melodic themes and floating composition that lock you in its groove and take you on board for a nice melodic hypnotic trip. Check it out!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The upcoming and quickly rising to the top dj & producer Danny Stubbs returns on his label Empress recordings with the magnificent progressive house beauty We're All Crazy featuring the unique and deeply emotional vocals by Benna McCartney. The original mix is a deep melodic progressive house meets trance composition that has early 90's balearic house references with very strong and memorable synthy melody that will hook you  and carry your mind away very easily.  Its relaxing, smooth, groovy, and very versatile production with great potential both for house and trance djs. Benna's voice is evocative and her performance is the tasty ice on the very delicious cake that Danny has cooked for us.   Alan Banks has the mission to transform the deep original into an uplifting trance banger that will be played a lot and feature in many playlists. Tough  driving basslines, pumping metallic beats and great recreation of the original melodic themes into the uplifting euphoric ones. Long teasing atmospheric breakdown that applies Benna's sweet and tender voice followed by huge burst of euphoric hair raising synths to energise mind, body and soul. His  climax is full on and breathtaking. Superb release that will satisfy both ends of the trance genre. Love IT
