Lange announced that he stops his label Lange recordings and he is going to focus on his label Create Music that he operates with Black Hole recordings. His statement is as follows:
As you know I set up Create Music a year ago and things have been building nicely. It's now reached a point where I want to develop and grow the label further with my team. After much thought and consideration I’ve decided to pause any further signings and releases on Lange Recordings, and instead focus entirely on Create with Black Hole Recordings. There is an option to bring Lange Recordings back at a later date but for now it's time to look to the future and get more creative!
It has been an incredible journey for Lange Recordings over the last 12 years, being there for the start of many an artist's career, from Gareth Emery to Noah Neiman, and building some fantastic relationships with numerous artists; Tempo Giusto, Stephen Kirkwood, Johnny Yono to name just a few, and many of which I hope will continue to join me on Create.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the label, the artists and bought the records over the years and I hope you will continue to enjoy the next chapter. We have one last release for you all (at least for now!) - the culmination of over a decade of releases. I hope you will enjoy a trip down memory lane with "The Best Of Lange Recordings 2004 - 2016” including 54 seminal tracks from the catalogue plus 3x Continuous Mixes, which is released at all stores on September 30th but is available to pre-order now.  Lange

Lange returns to his famed Recordings imprint for the incredible 'On Your Side' which sees the legendary producer practising his renowned vocal Trance formula alongside British vocal talent Tom Tyler.

Forever staying ahead of the curve, Lange brings his years of expertise to an impeccably structured vocal Trancer built around a toned-down rugged bassline that brings 'On Your Side' up to speed with modern trends, whilst drawing on classic roots to result in a release which effortlessly merges the two styles to formulate an anthem, whilst proving Trance's roots are still as pure as ever.

Lange returns to his imitable label as the Winter months close in with a gorgeous piece of warming vocal Trance, making for the latest Lange anthem along side Tom Tyler, 'On Your Side'.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Lange recordings is back with another must play anthem by the hands of the label head beloved Lange featuring on vocals the always impressive Tom Tyler. We deal here with a magnificent straight forward proglifting trancer with thumping basslines, pounding techy grooves, euphoric feel good synthy hooks and great breakdown with romantic piano and cinematic strings with Tom giving one of his best performances! If you like to dance and sing a long  then you are on right place cause On Your Side is an eclectic underground anthem that deserves clubs and radio plays! So good to be true! #PureGold Love It

One of Trance and Sweden's most iconic artists, Linnea Schossow, brings her years of knowledge and prowess to Lange Recordings in partnership with one of Israel’s most active electronic artists, Rafael Osmo.

'Airstrike' sees the two seasoned producers combine to form a powerful and driving Trance track which couples with a delving, tech tinged bassline with searching, euphoric synths and brooding FX.

A triumphant return and timely follow-up to 'Walk Away', Linnea's back on Lange Recordings alongside the talented, Rafael Osmo.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Dj Lange and Lange recordings are at the forefront of the trance scene with releases that you can easily categorise them and you simply are invited to enjoy them without thinking about pigeonholes and small boxes. Lange rocks with his excellent Intercity radio show and one of the tracks he supported is Airstrike co-produced by Linnea Schossow who  doesn't sing on this track and Rafael Osmo. When I notice her name I had the impression that is a vocal trance beauty but actually is a magnificent full on cracker with aggressive metallic bassline, sharp thunderous drum programming and addictive rave style synthy hook that has the ability to uplift any club or festival straight away. The track is playful and adventurous without trying to pretend that is nothing more than a bomb on the dancefloor. The breakdown is the moment of absolute revelation of euphoric synths and mad themes that will drive you wild straight away out of your head. You will scream, you will shout but I wonder if there will be someone to hear your voice. Imagine crowds with hands in the air clapping hands and closing eyes until the beat returns for the climax that is absolutely firestorming. Words are sort to describe tunes like this smashing anthem. #PureGold Love It

One of the UK's hottest trance labels, Lange Recordings sees the limelight turn towards LA based production duo, Vander & Thomas for their label debut - 'Vitality'.

A track that lives up to its name, 'Vitality' is an energetic, club friendly trancer produced with the dancefloor in mind. A combination of rolling basslines, melodic synths and expertly created drum patterns will have you dancing into the small hours from this hard hitting tandem.

A welcome production from this talented trance team on none other than Lange Recordings!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Lange recordings is on great shape servicing the dance community with the highest quality productions from all over the world always selected carefully by Dj Lange himself. The latest anthem that surfaced on the beloved label is the collaboration between Vander & Thomas from Los Angeles for the very powerful and extremely energetic production Vitality. The track is full on hands in the air big room progressive trance banger that combines elements of progressive house with big room to deliver an unforgettable and totally unstoppable track. Pumping driving basslines, pounding tribal grooves and most importantly rave/hardstyle main synthy hook that is so effective and so uplifting that will be hard to find even one clubber who can stand still when this will be played on clubs and festivals. It's rough aggressive anthem with epic synths and cool electro trance touches as well that keep the dancefloor moving for long. Simple and effective will serve its purpose well. #PureGold Love it

Continuing with the exciting run of remixed singles from Lange’s We Are Lucky Poeple artists album, and next up is non-other than Ronski Speed who takes on Lange & Cate Kanell’s ‘Fireflies'.

As a staple track on the album, Ronski Speed does the hit release justice with a superb club mix that illuminates the ethereal voice of Cate Kanell, whilst offering a driving club energy to shake up those dancefloors.

Ronski Speed is truly a welcomed name on Lange Recordings!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the very best tracks on the latest Lange album is definitely the vocal trance smash Fireflies featuring the beloved and truly inspiring singer Cate Kanell. Lange recordings presents the brand new translation of this huge smash hit by the one and only German trance legend Ronksi Speed. His version in contrast with the original mix focuses more on the heavy aggressive clubby electro infused bassline and pumping pulsating groove and less on the vocals that he applies them in a very creative direction as he highlights certain phrases with strong emotional impact. It's definitely one of those very powerful, dynamic versions that will energize the dancefloors and make the crowds go  crazy on the various summer festivals. His breakdown starts with orchestral music melodramatic strings, airy pads, variety of synthy plucks and the magnificent Cate Kanell vocals that stay in the background. The huge rave style synthy lead appears and will ignite the global audiences for sure. His climax is mouthwatering with tough bouncy driving grooves, euphoric synthy leads and piano chords that create the very colourful magical dreamy atmosphere that serves so well Cate Kanell's stunning story that she sings in a such expressive heartfelt way! It's Highly recommended so better come and fly away with all the Fireflies! #PureGold Love iT

1. Original Mix

‘Hey! While The Sun Shines’ marks the return of Lange's LNG alias which encompasses his harder, more techy-edged productions. This new single, featured on the forthcoming In Search Of Sunrise 12: Dubai by Richard Durand & Lange, is a solid track that is perfect for the club floors thanks to its great build-up, uplifting break and driving sound. ‘Hey! While The Sun Shines’ will tear the place up.

Lange is recognised as one of the most influential dance artists of the past decade. A DJ who has remained at the forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that continues to push all boundaries. Lange is one name in trance that has continued to reinvent himself to take on the evolving dance scene and show any inspiring new comer how to be an industry leader through pure talent alone. In 2008 Lange launched his Intercity radio show; growing quickly in popularity, it has become a staple for trance fans worldwide. Lange showcases many of his own productions on Lange Recordings as well as those from both established and up and coming talents. The label has gained consistent support from the DJ elite and has become known for its quality and innovation. With his chart topping singles and remixes and his own artist albums and compilations, Lange keeps on proving why he’s one of the most accomplished and highly rated artists in the trance scene today. This year he has the honour to remix the 3rd disc of the 12th edition of ‘In Search Of Sunrise’.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Black Hole recordings presents the long awaited return of dj Lange side project LNG. Who is going to forget his classic anthem Inter City on Ferry Corsten's older imprint Tsunami? LNG is back with his smasher Hey While The Sun Shines that can be described as tougher, harder, big room trance sound perfect to drop on summer festivals and big room clubs. He starts with solid banging groove and fat rocking bassline until the first small breakdown that the track moves nicely to its more tech tribal unique groove. We all realize from now that nothing is given and we should expect surprises on our journey with captain behind the wheels of steel dj Lange. The breakdown is euphoric with quality classic uplifting synths that simply mesmerize your senses and captivate your imagination with the classical music references. His drop is so powerful and smashing that you should hold on tight if you can not afford to let yourself loose and jump as high as you can. Bass focused tech trance climax perfect for the harder rougher floors who want it a bit more underground and groove based. It would be cool to add another version with uplifting climax as well! #PureGold Love iT

February 14th was not only the St Valentines day but also the Luminosity Trance Gathering event as well. The very successful team of Luminosity Events Foundation  returned in Amsterdam at the famous venue Westerunie & Westerliefde for the magnificent Luminosity Trance Gathering that included 2 fantastic areas. The djs that performed that night were Adam Ellis (NL debut), Airwave
Angry Man, Arctic Moon, Eddie Bitar (NL debut), Giussepe Ottaviani, Lange, Rex Mundi, Simon O’Shine and Will Atkinson.

One of the big highlights of the event was the performance of the legend and pioneer Dj & producer, radio host and label owner Lange. His dj set was an emotional uninterrupted journey that consisted of the finest melodic trance and progressive anthems carefully selected and mixed in the most creative way. The trance family was extremely satisfied from his energetic and very euphoric set that should be considered as one of his best until now. At the end of his performance I kindly requested to conduct a video interview and he accepted it with his very warm wide smile in his face. The result is an nearly 27 minutes video interview that you can watch right now.

You can watch his opinion about his dj set at the Luminosity Event. We talk extensively about his latest album We Are Lucky People and he explains in great detail the process of recording it and how he collaborated with the various singers that are taking part to this must have album. He tell us his future plans for the remix edition of this album and his latest single Insatiable alongside Betsy Larkin. Also I asked him about his forthcoming back 2 back set with Sean Tyas and his previous back 2 back sets with Andy Moor on top events like Tomorrowland. We discuss of course the future prospects of his excellent label Lange recordings and the various top artists of his label rooster that we should keep an eye on. I ask him if he believes that 2014 is the year of trance and he answers in his very personal way. Of course he tell us about his radio show Intercity that has great recognition and  he explains how he prepares it and how much he value this radio show for his contact with his fans worlwide. Highlight question should be the one about the kind of sacrifices he did in order to achieve his high level of success and become the globally known dj Lange. Lastly we talk about his forthcoming mix compilation In Search Of Sunrise alongside Richard Durand that will be released at the end of May  on Black Hole recordings. Its definitely a long detailed interview worth watching from start to finish! Enjoy!
