Hailing from Belgium and France and originally artists in their own right, production duo,BOTH have joined forces to whet club goer’s fast growing appetite for a new summer clubanthem.

As with all great partnerships, BOTH’s connection was born through similar tastes.

Taking influences from nu soul, classic house, funk and the work of legendary producers like Roger Sanchez and Eric Morillo, it’s clear on this single ‘Straight Outta Line’, that BOTH’s ambition to push the boundaries of their collaboration is bearing intriguing musical fruit.

Also not being satisfied with creating purely instrumental work has seen the guys collaborate with a special Northern Soul genius who’s sublime vocals on ‘Straight Outta Line’ adds more colour and feeling to an already exciting track.

BOTH explain, “This is a song about redemption and solidarity.
It is about community and the strength of the human spirit.
The vocals compliment this perfectly and this is a journey we thoroughly enjoyed.”

The remix comes courtesy of rising Polish star, P.A.F.F, who gives the original track a deep, tech house reworking destined for late night dancefloor rotation.

‘Straight Outta Line’ looks certain to be one of this year’s new discoveries and is released on 28th July via [PIAS] Recordings.

Deuzler debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the two tracker 'Go Toward The Light'. He is an admirer of electronic music who has been around for many years in the Mexican scene, nine years as DJ and three years as a producer. He has played in the best clubs in the country including huge outdoor events.

First up is 'Go Toward The Light' which sets off in full on mode with a chunky kick and superb pulsating bassline. Beautiful synth pads sweep through the sound and tease out sweet melodic sequences. The bassline is hypnotic as it remains a constant throughout the track and is accompanied by some very cool FX. The break opens up a surreal world with the bass and synths contrasting beautifully. A perfect example of progressive house with that darker edge and no doubt this will grab a lot of attention.

'Echo Of A Whisper' intros with a very cool kick and plucky deep bass combo. The tracks signature is so perfect for this sound as it gives the bassline pride of place. Short synth riffs peek in and out of the sound and are joined by smooth pads on the break before that wonderfully balanced kick and bass combo comes bursting back. Smooth and groovy prog vibe her which is not to be missed.

JOOF favourite returns, this time with his very own single. Lavished with his dark yet musical trademark sounds, Lyctum manages to balance sitting in-between Psy Trance and regular Trance bringing in influences from both worlds. Label boss John 00 Fleming recognised Lyctum's musical genius and asked him to perform an experiment away from his musical comfort zone to produce this Progressive master piece, a truly original piece of music. Dejan Jovanovic born in 1989, also known as Lyctum , is one of those artists who are truly appreciated in the trance music production, recognised by many original masterpieces, collaborations with leading artists and numerous best selling remixes. This project is so musical that nowadays Dejan is considered as true master of his generation. He's vividly painting the sounds of his own creation throughout the massive horizon of arrangements, ambiances, melodies, special effects and percussion's. His very first release made an huge impact on the scene, it was released on TesseracTstudio record label in the end of 2011. The very first track of Lyctum project called "The bass creator" from the EP "Light force" made a revolution in psychedelic trance scene and broke all the rules, unique atmospheres and crystallised lazer bassline with a lot of low frequencies that makes both your mind and stomach go on a different state of a feeling, and that significant Lyctum signature is now one of the most wanted vibrations in the psy world. Soon after that (mid 2012) he released his first album called "Tales from the universe" and got rated on the 2nd best selling album of the year, which took his career step forward and got more recognised on the scene. As he was continuing with his production, Dejan released numerous compilations, ep's and other releases, which went really good on the dancefloors and distributions, supported by John 00 Fleming, Paul Oakenfold, Astrix, Simon Patterson and few other big names. We adore his deep progressive sound, made for those heads down moments on the dance floor. Matt does this perfectly with his hypnotic driving baseline, and keeping things dark and moody.

Aspara debuts on Bonzai Progressive with this stunner entitled 'In Motion', which comes with two superb remixes. Aspara commands huge respect in the electronic music world. She has built a reputation as a forward thinking, stand out DJ and this has been recognised by her peers on many occasions, most notably when John 00 Fleming described her as a "super talent". Having played all over the world and released her music on top quality labels, we are delighted to be welcoming Aspara into the Bonzai family.

The Original Mix has a quite energetic feel with a jagged bass coursing along to the backdrop of some very cool drum percussions. Nice tough kicks soon follow alongside crisp hats creating a flowing groove. Heavy duty metallic sounds become a focus on the track as the bass deepens giving off a pulsating vibe. Strong progressive edge here with a very cool organic flow, not to be missed.

UK born but now residing in Greece, Steve Self marks his Bonzai debut with a stunning remix. Steve started producing in 2004 and is currently learning classical piano. He got into electronic music during his student days in Manchester where he organised parties and held his own residencies. Steve has also released on many labels covering different genres. Here he gets the remix going with a surreal intro full of garbled vocals that etch a strange vision. Nice and chunky kicks take control soon after and a very well constructed drum and percussion section soon get the rhythms flowing. A cool deep bass lurks in the rear before easing into full flow with lush texture. Full of quirky sounds and quality FX this track is an epic ride that will be a big feature in many sets, no doubt!

Hoova & White Resonance debut on Bonzai with this simply amazing remix. The guys boast an absolute horde of quality releases across many top labels. They are a formidable pair with the progressive house realm and they also delve into other genres on occasion. Here the guys get the remix up to boiling point with a fine display of production skills. Nice and smooth intro with a simple percussion tap and a beautiful melodic pad which transforms into lush chords with a phat kick over the top. A top class vocal that just oozes classic house is the perfect accompaniment to those chords and gives this track a truly house vibe. The deep bass though keeps the track firmly with the progressive range making this an absolute must for any box, top stuff!

We're very happy to welcome Onkakmir back to Axon Recordings, with another stunning release. His previous releases received some great feedback and support, from the likes of Slam, Stephen J. Kroos, and even Armin van Buuren. If you were a fan of his previous works, we're certain you'll enjoy this one.

As you'd expect from Onkakmir, both 'Shaman' and 'Mirkakon' are prime examples of electronica. The have a deep, moody and melancholic feel to them, and the production is second to none. It's really hard to pick a favourite.

Carlos Rossi Souto also returns to the label, with two fantastic remixes of 'Shaman'. He's took the original downtempo version, and given it a techno twist. Each remix adds something new to 'Shaman', with his 'Late Night' version going just a little deeper.

Hady Tarek launched his DJ career in 2002, when he began arranging his favourite tunes in mix sessions that became very popular among his friends and extended social networks. Due to the popularity of his mixes, he started hosting small parties, where he was enthusiastically received for his track selection skills. After a year of continuous gigs and club nights, he took his mixes to Nile FM, the biggest radio station in Egypt with FM, satellite and online broadcasts. His first appearance in 2004 brought his music to a wider audience and marked the beginning of a regular guest appearance on the station. Many more radioshow spots followed along with an impressive release count across many labels.

Here he debuts with his two tracker, 'Night Shift'. Kicking us off into a full on progressive stomper we have 'Night Shift'. Big and burly kicks are accompanied by a tight percussion arrangement as a sweeping synth stabs through. A fantastic arp provides a rhythmic backdrop as a truly deep rooted bass shores up the rear. The break brings the arp to the fore as it modulates against that synth stab and squealing string before slamming back into the main groove, a definite keeper!

'Robo Ride' gets the levels rising with a big phat kick and percussion combo including some skilfully placed drums. A sharp stabbing synth is a big feature and leads into a monstrously deep bassline that will have any bass bin quaking. A relentless groove ensues before the break offers up a cool melodic sequence which contrasts well with that deep bass. A hell of a ride into the deeper side of prog and a must for any box.

German DJ and producer Jonny Calypso makes his solo debut on Bonzai Progressive with the amazing two tracker 'Definition'. Jonny first headed our way on his collaboration with Dafar late in 2013 with 'Spirit'.

First up we have the title track 'Definition' which intros with a lovely phat kick and crisp hat combo. A deep and burly bass comes on the scene and will be a contender to punish bass bins all over as it pulsates through the sound. This tough groove powers on mercilessly before a short respite on the break where the percussion takes over and a fading vocal sample is introduced then its right back into this solid deep progressive workout.

'San Zhi' is up next and we are eased into the track with a smooth kick led intro and a soothing pad in the rear. Sharp edged hats are a perfect contrast and provide a cool dynamic. A sub level bass is matched brilliantly with pads and give off a solid feel to the sound. As the track progresses a gritty and very powerful synth line is introduced which gives the track a cool edgy vibe. Truly deep and dark progressive house which be a gift in any box.

Got to know each hip-hop producer and singer Gad Baruch Hinkis (aka DJ Neckbreaka ) from Israel, saxophonist and singer Andrea Roberts (aka Screechy 2 Shoes ) from Canada , and saxophone player Florent Mannant (aka Flap Jack Malone ) from France with a DJ set by Neckbreaka DJ at the legendary Berlin bar 25 All three were looking for a new creative input to translate their already noticeable own style in a modern context .

While their music is rooted in swing , but flirts with the modern pop culture , thus creating the sound for a whole new generation of clubbers. After their debut Death By Swing appeared in 2013 their much acclaimed album ' Superskrunk ' go and live with their 3 energetic shows on the whole .

' Superskrunk Remixed ' set these influences now with 6 successful remixes of TINUSH , JFTH , SMOKEY JOE & THE KID , SEGMENT & DJ NECKBREAKA order that could not be more , but all are a cause for celebration .

DaXoul returns to Axon Recordings with his first full release. As well as s superb remix of 'If U Want Me' by Graham Laverty, he also featured on label boss Che Armstrong's 'Dexter'. Dexter received some nice feedback and support from DJs such as Armin van Buuren (ASOT 600 Warm Up Set, Beirut), Slam, Tilt, Stephen J. Kroos an many more.

DarXoul has delivered 2x tracks for this EP, by the names of 'Insidious' and 'Clockwork'. Both tracks have a great techno sound, with a dark and driving energy. DarXoul leaves us wanting more, and we're already looking forward to a follow up!
