Greek born house music DJ and producer Thanos T debuts on AK-Tek with a sublime slice of pure house pleasure in "We Are". Thanos became a talented player  on the house scene in 2011 when he started to release his own material on labels like Panda Recordings, Grouper Recordings and DeepWit Recordings to name a few. He incorporates many different sounds into his music from dubby chords, deep and raw atmospheres and deep vocals. He also has many remixes for top artists under his belt and he runs a monthly radio show which showcases the deeper side of house.

The Original Mix of "We Are" serves up a real house treat full of classy pads and an infectious bassline. The tight drum arrangements keeps the cool steady rhythms flowing while the vocals add a richness to the sound. Elements of deeper house come through on the dub chords and this adds a cool texture overall, this is house music in its purest form and it rocks!

"The Mecca" takes the vibe deeper with super thumpy kick and a bassline that pounds through the sound. Cool heavily FX'd vocals sit nicely over a smooth drum and percussion arrangement while multiple chords are thrashed out from various different instruments which adds a superb dynamic to the sound, one for the late night rooms here and sure to be a firm favourite.

Bulgarian producer Allan Zax steps up to remix "We Are". Allan has come from progressive trance, drum and bass and chillout while nowadays he is focusing on deep, jazz and progressive house music. He produces under many different aliases and has appeared on labels like Dutchie Music, Grouper Recordings and more. The track intros with subtle percussive elements which transform into a full on rhythmic arrangement with cool FX and synth on top. The bassline provides a solid base for a superb ride through deep, bouncy, jazzy influenced house. The mini drum fills provide that jazzy feel while deep house chords give off an air of grace, a stunning track that will be a must for any house jock!
