Luminosity Trance Gathering took place on Friday 14th of February in Amsterdam and was an enormous success.The best trance djs were present to perform their  finest sets. Those were Adam Ellis (NL debut), Airwave, Angry Man, Arctic Moon, Eddie Bitar (NL debut), Giussepe Ottaviani, Lange, Rex Mundi, Simon O’Shine and Will Atkinson. Trance is very strong and popular at the moment and attracts big audiences. The excellent decoration along with the brilliant lasers and the crystal clear sound were some of the main elements of the success of Luminosity Trance Gathering. The djs who performed there loved it and the audience seems to be so happy that they were feeling like walking in the air. Heaven is a place in a trance event like this without doubts.

We requested an interview with dj & producer Adam Ellis from Sheffield UK who had his debut on the event and he kindly accepted it. Firstly we ask him about his career and when he took the decision to start producing and djing trance music. He tell us about the track that has influenced the most to decide his involvement with trance. We ask him about which track he believes is his biggest success  and with which record labels he had releases so far. He reveals his future projects and collaborations with famous names in the scene. He answers from where he gets the inspiration to produce his music. We ask him what is his opinion about djs & producers who use mainly templates rather than having their own original ideas. He tell us about the sound that he wants to focus on in his productions and he reveals that he is totally self taught trance producer. Finally he explains to us why is so important for the dj in order to be successful to have  productions, radio show and presence in the social media.

Friday 14th of September was that very special day that trancers from all over the world gathered for the amazing event Luminosity Trance Gathering. Once again the Luminosity Foundation organised a very special night with excellent sound system, stunning decoration, brilliant lasers and most important fantastic dj sets by the likes of Adam Ellis (NL debut), Airwave, Angry Man, Arctic Moon, Eddie Bitar (NL debut), Giussepe Ottaviani, Lange, Rex Mundi, Simon O’Shine and Will Atkinson. 

On the main room the legend and pioneer of trance music Laurent Veronezz aka Airwave from Belgium delivered one of his finest dj sets that included great classics from Bonzai Music but also many of his forthcoming tracks on his own label LCD recordings, on JOOF and Bonzai Progressive labels too. It's always big pleasure to watch Laurent performing behind the decks and is of course biggest pleasure to listen, dance and trip out with his exquisite blend of  awesome cherished trance classics with future favourites. I'm glad he accepted to do this video interview that you can watch right now as it was a dream come true for me. 

Airwave after some years of silence tell us that he is back in full effect and full force. We asked him about his dj set at Luminosity and his opinion for the Luminosity Events. He tell us about the tracks that will be released soon on various labels and he explains the various styles he produces at the moment including breaks, progressive house, psy trance and his more classic trance sound from the past. He reveals that his alter egos Lolo and Green Martian that we adored in the past with some eternal classics are coming back with new tracks alongside his  Airwave productions. He tell us his opinion for Tomorrowland festival and how the success of it had an effect in the club and festival scene in Belgium. We ask him if believes in the strength and growth of the underground trance scene. Laurent has always honest and very strong views and he loves  to share them in his social media with his fans and in this must watch interview too. Enjoy.

February 14th was not only the St Valentines day but also the Luminosity Trance Gathering event as well. The very successful team of Luminosity Events Foundation  returned in Amsterdam at the famous venue Westerunie & Westerliefde for the magnificent Luminosity Trance Gathering that included 2 fantastic areas. The djs that performed that night were Adam Ellis (NL debut), Airwave
Angry Man, Arctic Moon, Eddie Bitar (NL debut), Giussepe Ottaviani, Lange, Rex Mundi, Simon O’Shine and Will Atkinson. 

One of the big highlights of the event was the performance of the legend and pioneer Dj & producer, radio host and label owner Lange. His dj set was an emotional uninterrupted journey that consisted of the finest melodic trance and progressive anthems carefully selected and mixed in the most creative way. The trance family was extremely satisfied from his energetic and very euphoric set that should be considered as one of his best until now. At the end of his performance I kindly requested to conduct a video interview and he accepted it with his very warm wide smile in his face. The result is an nearly 27 minutes video interview that you can watch right now.

   You can watch his opinion about his dj set at the Luminosity Event. We talk extensively about his latest album We Are Lucky People and he explains in great detail the process of recording it and how he collaborated with the various singers that are taking part to this must have album. He tell us his future plans for the remix edition of this album and his latest single Insatiable alongside Betsy Larkin. Also I asked him about his forthcoming back 2 back set with Sean Tyas and his previous back 2 back sets with Andy Moor on top events like Tomorrowland. We discuss of course the future prospects of his excellent label Lange recordings and the various top artists of his label rooster that we should keep an eye on. I ask him if he believes that 2014 is the year of trance and he answers in his very personal way. Of course he tell us about his radio show Intercity that has great recognition and  he explains how he prepares it and how much he value this radio show for his contact with his fans worlwide. Highlight question should be the one about the kind of sacrifices he did in order to achieve his high level of success and become the globally known dj Lange. Lastly we talk about his forthcoming mix compilation In Search Of Sunrise alongside Richard Durand that will be released at the end of May  on Black Hole recordings. Its definitely a long detailed interview worth watching from start to finish! Enjoy!
