Famed the world over for producing some of the finest house and techno experiences on the planet, RESISTANCE™ has announced its enormous lineup spanning across the five days of Destination ULTRA - Croatia Music Week.

Returning to the Dalmatian coastline for its second annual outing, RESISTANCE™ will see some of the biggest names in the scene perform at three different RESISTANCE™ stages from July 14-20, 2016. Confirmed artists include (in alphabetical order) Adam Beyer, Apollonia, Carl Cox, Elio Riso, Hot Since 82, Ida Engberg, Jamie Jones, Jon Rundell, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Solomun, Technasia and UMEK.

Starting on Thursday, July 14 at the Giraffe Palm Beach House, the Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week RESISTANCE™ Opening Party will feature UMEK, supported by his talented cohort of 1605 Music Therapy label mates.

As ULTRA Europe kicks into full swing on Friday, July 15, Swedish techno power couple Adam Beyer & Ida Engberg will headline the upgraded RESISTANCE™ stage along with Diynamic head-honcho Solomun. Other names set to play on the Friday include Parisian maestro Technasia and last but not least, Elio Riso.

Saturday will see RESISTANCE™ hosted by Carl Cox & Friends for the very first time, with the king himself inviting Italian heavyweights Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati to perform, in addition to Intec label mate Jon Rundell.

The final day of ULTRA Europe's RESISTANCE™ stage, on Sunday, July 17, will be headlined by global superstar and Hot Creations dynamo Jamie Jones, the UK’s Nic Fanciulli and Hot Since 82, plus Parisian trio Apollonia.

Both Nic Fanciulli and Hot Since 82 will also follow up on their sets in Split to play the RESISTANCE™ Closing Party of Destination ULTRA - Croatia Music Week on July 20, leaving partygoers with a final lasting memory of the momentous week.

In a little over four months time, Europe’s Premier Destination Music Festival – ULTRA Europe – will welcome a dazzling array of DJs and electronic acts to the Dalmatian coast for its fourth annual edition.

Some of those headlining ULTRA Europe across three days, from July 15-17 at Split’s majestic Poljud Stadium, will be global megastars including (listed in alphabetical order) Above & Beyond, Adam Beyer, Afrojack, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Hardwell, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake and Solomun.

Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week kicks off on July 14, 2016, with the official Opening Party at the Giraffe Palm Beach House in Split where, in July 2015, ULTRA Europe and techno label Cocoon teamed up to bring Sven Väth and a whole host of his label mates to jumpstart proceedings.

The experience will then move on to ULTRA Europe, the three-day festival at the Poljud Stadium, Split from July 15-17, where over 150,000 revelers are expected to witness electronic music’s most in-demand acts inside one of Croatia’s most majestic venues. Previous headline artists have included the likes of Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Avicii, Axwell^Ingrosso, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Hardwell, Knife Party, Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Zedd and with the announcement of The Chemical Brothers only last year, there are guaranteed to be a few more surprises in store for 2016. Last year also saw the debut of the RESISITANCE concept at Ultra Europe, where the likes of Apollonia, Guy Gerber, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli, Sasha, Solomun and many more, offered festivalgoers an alternative on Arcadia Spectacular’s inimitable ‘Afterburner’ stage.

Following on from four mammoth days of partying in Split, and in exclusive partnership with Yacht Week, the Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week festivities move onto a one-off Yacht Regatta on July 18, which will see Zlatni Rat Beach on the Island of Brač host one of the most unique parties of the week.  

July 19 will then take us to the Island of Hvar for the fourth edition of ULTRA Beach, which will welcome over 5,000 people to the Hotel Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort. Headliners in the past have included megastars such as Dillon Francis, Diplo, Fedde Le Grand and Oliver Heldens, and with all three previous editions selling out, ULTRA Beach is yet again expected to be one of the highlights of the week. Finally, on July 20, Destination ULTRA – Croatia Music Week will close the curtain on what is set to be an incredible seven days of partying, with its RESISTANCE Closing Party.

With just one month to go until the second edition of Ultra Europe begins, organizers have revealed the third and final wave of scintillating talent set to take over Croatia’s majestic Poljud Stadium, Split from the 11th- 13th July.

Making his much-needed Ultra Europe debut, the Refune label boss will be taking to the mighty main stage to wow the hoards of fans heading to the largest dance music festival in Croatia’s history this July.

Following Disclosure, Pretty Lights, Gramatik, Paul Kalkbrenner and Hot Since 82 who will lead proceedings on Friday 11th July, Morillo will be making his Ultra Europe debut on Saturday 12th, joining the king, Carl Cox, and the likes of Marco Carola, Nic Fanciulli and RioTGeaR for an epic Carl Cox & Friends showdown. Ultra Worldwide will then be transformed into a trance haven on Sunday 13th, with sets from the likes of Paul van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, W&W and Aly & Fila amongst others.

                                         

Taking place over three huge days in Split this year (formerly two days), Ultra Europe will also be welcoming UK underground house legend Hot Since 82, French trap don DJ Snake, New York-based dubstep superstar Kill The Noise, prog-house mainstay Vicetone and tech house wizard Nic Fanciulli to the proceedings.

Completing the international lineup on the UMF Radio stage over all three days will be Steve Mulder, Elio Riso, PHNTM and Gelab amongst others.

Following a historic, sold out debut edition in 2013, in which over 103,000 sun seekers flocked to Croatia’s idyllic Dalmatian coast from more than 75 countries worldwide, the excitement for Ultra Europe’s second annual installment is now reaching fever pitch. It’s full steam ahead now to Croatia’s beautiful Dalmatian coast as ULTRA EUROPE unveils the sublime second wave of acts that will be descending upon Split’s Poljud Stadium over 11th – 13th July for a weekend of sheer electronic music delight. The biggest and best names from the electro world sit aside some of the underground scene’s most talented mixmasters, while trance superstars take their place amongst electrifying live acts – Ultra Europe 2014 has something for all music lovers and looks set to top its record-breaking first year.






Returning to Split for their second taste of the Ultra Europe experience will be Knife Party, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Danny Avila and Marco Carola, while Dim Mak top dog Steve Aoki takes to the main stage for the first time having headlined last year’s final day on the wonderful island of Hvar. After insane sets from all at 2013’s inaugural event, you can guarantee they’ll be setting the standard from the word go and showing all first-timers what Ultra Europe is about.

In addition a number of debutants appear on 2014’s breathtaking billing, with the likes of The Chainsmokers, Showtek and Alesso looking to continue the amazing success they’ve each had individually over the last couple of years and deliver the colossal shows they’ve become famed for.
