From a production standpoint, “Safe With Me” demonstrates exceptional sound design and spatial awareness. [content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Nilsix & Clara Yates’ “Through It All” is a masterclass in modern vocal trance production, offering both an emotional and technical triumph. Clocking in at 134 BPM, it is a melodic, driving epic that balances euphoric energy with pristine production. The track opens with a cinematic blend of warm pads and subtle arpeggios, gradually layering intricate harmonic textures that set the stage for Clara Yates’ commanding vocal performance. Her voice soars with clarity and emotional heft, gliding effortlessly over Nilsix’s meticulously sculpted soundscape. The track demonstrates expert use of layering and spatial design. Nilsix employs a driving bassline that anchors the track while leaving space for lush midrange synths and high-frequency sparkle. The lead melodies are carefully arranged with harmonic layering, ensuring they do not clash with the vocal performance. Sidechain compression is subtly applied to create a pulsing rhythm that enhances the track’s forward momentum, while automation in filters and reverb tails builds tension during the breakdowns. Transitions and drops are executed flawlessly, with rising sweeps, pitch modulation, and gated effects contributing to a cinematic and immersive experience. The dynamic range is preserved, allowing the track to maintain both punch and clarity, critical for both club sound systems and personal listening. The arrangement is a perfect example of trance storytelling: an atmospheric intro sets the tone, leading to a vocal-driven breakdown that blooms into a euphoric peak. The track’s structure is DJ-friendly, with a well-designed intro and outro, consistent BPM, and clear cue points for seamless mixing. The drops are impactful yet controlled, making the track effective in both festival and club settings. Its melodic hooks are immediately memorable, and the harmonic progression sustains emotional resonance without becoming repetitive. Beyond its technical brilliance, “Through It All” has profound implications for well-being. Scientific studies have shown that uplifting, high-BPM electronic music can enhance mood, reduce stress, and improve endurance during exercise (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). The track’s euphoric melodies and driving rhythm are ideal for fitness classes, yoga flow sessions, and even cycling workouts, where entrainment to rhythm can improve performance and perceived exertion. Clara Yates’ emotional vocal delivery can elicit chills, which research associates with dopamine release and improved emotional regulation (Salimpoor et al., 2011). Moreover, trance music’s repetitive, immersive qualities have been linked to meditative states and enhanced mental focus, providing a therapeutic benefit for listeners seeking stress relief. “Through It All” is more than a club anthem—it is a sonic journey that merges technical mastery with emotional depth. From its crystalline vocal performance to its euphoric harmonic layers and dynamic energy flow, the track excels in every aspect, earning perfect marks across rhythm, melody, sound design, and emotional resonance. Its ability to inspire movement, uplift mood, and facilitate mental well-being underscores why this is #PureGold for both dance floors and personal soundtracks. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

Dynamic range is well-managed, with a balance between loudness and clarity that allows the track to perform equally well in headphones and live sound systems. The arrangement incorporates classic trance motifs—extended intros and outros for DJ compatibility, harmonic tension that resolves into euphoric drops, and a central vocal hook that drives the emotional core of the record. Additionally, the repetitive rhythmic patterns common in trance music can facilitate a meditative state, promoting relaxation and emotional catharsis (Garrido et al., 2018). By blending modern trance sound design with Clara Yates’ resonant vocals, the track appeals to both casual listeners and experienced DJs. Its structure maximizes crowd engagement, inviting sing-alongs during the chorus and eliciting peak emotional responses during the drops. The music’s immersive qualities make it a valuable addition to mental wellness playlists, high-intensity interval training sessions, and mindful movement practices where rhythm and emotional release are prioritized. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

First came ‘shivelight’, then ‘sonata’, and last month Solarstone delivered us his introspective ‘innermost’ with the release of the musician/DJ’s ninth studio album. Into July, and the LP’s singles take on a more vocal nature, as hand in hand with singer-songwriter Clara Yates, he brings us ‘your sacrifice’.
In keeping with the album’s unflinchingly open-book approach, Richard was looking for equally fearless collaborators for it, and in the English-born/Australian-based artist he most certainly found one.
“Clara’s wrote the song about her father, and when I heard the vocal, it struck me immediately. Around the time, I’d been thinking a lot about my own relationship with my kids — periods being away from them, on tour and what that means to everyone involved.“
Clara goes on to elaborate, “I’m a firm believer of songwriting done right. Songs have to mean something and come from the depths of somebody and not just be words for the sake of them.
'As Clara says, ‘your sacrifice' was written about my father Frederick who raised me and my siblings alone back in the late 80s - 90s. With a very ill mother, no struggle or sacrifice was too great to ensure we were fed, had a roof over out head, homework done on time, whilst making sure we all had smiles on our faces. Not enough praise goes to single fathers and just how tough it is for them. They deserve all the recognition and good in the world.”
Talking about ‘your sacrifice’s production, Rich continues ‘I decided to keep Clara’s voice really soft in the mix. I wanted people to lean into it, to really have to listen close to what she was saying.” From there, he musically expanded the album’s original vision into a full-length, 12” voyage, embracing its progressive house core to the nth. Melting melodies, bass pulse and its cinematically-edged strings all combine to move hearts, minds, and dancefloors in equal measure.
‘your sacrifice' is available via all major sales and streaming platforms now here.

Truly amazing progressive trancer with aggressive rocking basslines, energetic like rock guitar riffs and stunning tough grooves while on the breakdown things get smoothier and warmer with the awesome Clara adding her voice with magical lyrics perfect to dedicate to your lover without doubts. The climax is driving and euphoric with slight dark moody undertones. A winner all the way for me. #PureGold Love IT[/content]
