Tomorrowland 2018 The Story of Planaxis that took place in Boom for two weekend in July 2018 was definitely the very best version of this legendary festival. The wonderful subliminal or explicit messages about our unity with mother earth that prevail each year, the design of the mouthwatering stages from super hi-tech to minimal and underground and the superb marriage of stunning exterior and interior decoration, lighting effects, amazing pyrotechnics and most importantly wonderful sound has delivered an unforgettable experience that for sure will be considered as life changing for many and finally we should separately mention the stunning performances from all the DJs from the superstars to wanna be superstars were just incredible. It's fantastic to see so much diversity in the mainstage with all party artists to more deeper and sensual definitely makes the mainstage more inclusive and supports the exposure of more underground sounds to a more mainstream younger audience. The line-up of the rest of the stages embraced wide variety of sounds and represented well the state of electronic music scene with all the music subgenres being present. The online streaming of 4 stages was definitely a big plus for the world to experience uncut the full festival.
Of course that is my impression as viewer of the festival online, I was not present to see it on the ground so I don't know how the people who were there have perceived it but from their smiling faces and sparkling eyes I can surely understand that this was for them something truly special. There will always be complaints but can you find any event that involves 400.000 visitors without any small problems or mistakes? Even the weather was very supportive with bright sunny days during the 2 weekends. If we consider that Belgium is one of the countries that have been wounded by terrorism the last years we can definitely all see Tomorrowland as the message that Belgium sends all over the world. It seems to me that Tomorrowland heart will always be right there in the valley of hope, dreams and endless La La La in Boom.
Congratulations to the whole crew who have worked so hard, the local people at Boom, the technicians, the performers, the stage builders, the promotion team with my beloved Debbie. The end result is definitely a moment that makes everybody super proud of it. Tomorrowland is a concept that can diversify in many different surprising ways so we ain't see nothing yet! Well done Tomorrowland!

On July 28th The People of Tomorrow in Abu Dhabi, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Mexico, Spain and Taiwan will UNITE with Tomorrowland. Prepare for a magical celebration with a massive DJ lineup on stage and a live satellite connection from Tomorrowland in Belgium.
What is more Tomorrowland has developed the initiative Love Tomorrow.
BORN IN TOMORROWLAND
Love Tomorrow was born in Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most popular music festivals. It’s grown from realising the impact the festival has on its environment. Both on the planet and on the society.
The People of Tomorrow are the ambassadors for this belief in a better world. Their positive energy and love inspired Love Tomorrow to start working on a commitment to improve the ecological footprint, initiate innovation and share experiences.
Responsibility, Nature, Innovation, Health and Respect are the five values of Love Tomorrow.
Today, Love Tomorrow transcends Tomorrowland and has become a platform to inspire and share experiences with small and medium-sized companies, multinationals, schools and universities, governmental institutions, other festivals … and form links with similar ideas and initiatives.
Your belief and support in Love Tomorrow is key!
Thank you People of Tomorrow, for giving the children in Sekha (Nepal) a better future. Discover the story of Anjita, a 13 year old girl who has the opportunity to go to the Love Tomorrow Music & Arts School. Thanks to your contribution, she and her friends now have the chance to express themselves creatively. Music, dance and arts are key in personal development of children. This summer, Glitterbox heads to Boom in Belgium to be part of one of Europe’s biggest larger-than-life festival experiences.
On Saturday July 21st the Glitterbox phenomenon will take over Tomorrowland’s Cage arena, bringing the usual crew of flamboyant performers along with house music heavyweights Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Purple Disco Machine, The Shapeshifters, Simon Dunmore, FCL & Lady Linn and Tomorrowland resident Sheridan.
Making its debut at the festival, Glitterbox’s Tomorrowland line-up represents the international party’s distinctive musical ethos, combining classic, soulful and vocal house with contemporary disco and uplifting club rarities for a soundtrack that builds pure dancefloor hedonism.
House music don Roger Sanchez has long been a Glitterbox favourite, matching his unstoppable energy behind the decks with consistently flawless tune selection. Joining him is another Glitterbox favourite, American DJ/producer Todd Terry, whose masterful mixing and high-energy curveball tunes never disappoint. One of the finest nu-disco producers of the moment Purple Disco Machine will be lending his soul and funk-infused sound to the stage while The Shapeshifters follow up incredible releases on Glitterbox Recordings with an appearance, alongside Glitterbox founder Simon Dunmore. Best known for their collaboration on Defected release ‘It’s You’, Belgian natives FCL and singer Lady Linn complete the stellar line-up with local DJ Sheridan warming things up at the Cage.
Glitterbox generates an inclusive, uplifting party atmosphere designed to unite all on the dancefloor. Glitterbox events are immersive and full of unforgettable moments, using the most spectacular production, dancers and soundtrack to create a truly 21st century disco.
Over the last twelve months the Glitterbox phenomenon has grown exponentially, touring the world, and becoming one of London’s most in-demand events, selling out shows months in advance. Meanwhile, the weekly Glitterbox Radio Show continuously occupies iTunes #1 spot for music podcasts and Glitterbox Recordings has released the hottest new music from the likes of Debbie Jacobs, Folamour, Aeroplane, Dr Packer, Ralphi Rosario, Mousse T. and The Shapeshifters. Not to mention the compilations selectedand mixed by Simon Dunmore, proving that the spirit of disco is alive and kicking. Over the summer Glitterbox will be touching down in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Bristol, Manchester and Zürich plus many more, while its 18-date residency at Hï Ibiza returns on Friday 1st June. For all tickets and info see www.glitterboxibiza.com.
