Cypriot artist George Ellinas is back at Green Martian with Hide Away. This is his GM debut after he appeared over on our flagship label Bonzai Porgressive with Illusionize back in 2016. His musical voyage started at a very early age with classical piano lessons and the study of music theory. He then proceeded to study music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston USA, and also one of the major turning points for his music journey was working at the legendary Boston Beat Record Store. As well as being heavily involved in electronic music, George also plays in various bands around the island of Cyprus as a keyboardist. He has been recording music for the last 20 years and has also done arrangement and production work for a number of other artist and also his running his own Record Label Sanille Recordings.

Right from the off Hide Away grabs a hold of your imagination with a super sweet arpeggio melody alongside an uplifting vocal. Tight beats soon follow accompanied by shuffling, rhythmic hi hats and a deep, gritty bassline that dominates the groove. The melodies come along in waves taking us higher and higher. The main hook raises the hairs on the back of your neck as it slices through the deep bass. A top notch cut that will work wonders in the peak time slot.

Metamorphoses intros with subtle percussions that build up to a rolling bassline and hypnotic arpeggio. Chunky beats join is as the bassline takes control alongside layering melodies. Rich pads and beautiful synthetic textures are stacked up as we find ourselves totally hooked on the meaningful groove. A simply stunning production that will light up the floors in any uplifting progressive set, not to be missed.

Narel returns to Green Martian after a bit of a hiatus with the superb album Losing Adequacy. We last saw this hugely talented artist with The View At 2 AU back in 2014. But, since then he has shown up on remix duties for Alfonso Muchacho's Darkosaur on Bonzai & Friends 500. Melbourne based Narel aka Nick Simmons became fascinated by electronic music after hearing Jean Michel Jarre's Oxygene aged 5. At 15 he began experimenting with+samplers and sequencers and in time+added synthesizers to his setup. What was a hobby became a bit more serious in 2010 when his first tracks were released on the Bonzai Progressive imprint Fourty 5. After over 30 releases+across multiple labels his first album is finished and more original tracks are remixes are always in production. The Narel sound is rooted in oldskool progressive, progressive house, ambient and downtempo. The album opens with pulsing wave as rich and warm pads fade slowly in only to be joined by sweet melodic strings and earthly FX. A tight arrangement of breaks steal the vibe taking us on a sublime journey of contrasting sounds making Pulse Garden the perfect opener for the journey ahead. Next up is The Void Which Binds with its deliberate nod to Jarre and other electronic music pioneers. Droning bass pads and cosmic synths are the order of the day here and make for a truly surreal experience. Circle Sky is next and delivers a wonderfully epic ambient groove. Swirling pads set us off and soon make way for the most beautiful array of synths, pads and strings creating an emotional and euphoric piece of music. Huge climaxes come in wave after wave as the track ebbs and flows pulling at every emotional string in your being, simply divine. Return Of The Northerlies is our first glimpse at Narel's progressive house prowess on this album. A wonderfully crafted slice of oldskool prog filled with driving beats, hypnotic basslines, authentic acid lines and heaps of melodies, just WOW, superb stuff. We get a respite in the form of the ambient Re-Arecibo at the midway before going mid-level tempo on I Need Recalibrate with its strong bass structure and fantastic synth patterns. The deceptive Our Surface Dances intros with the most wonderfully peaceful ambience before we're thrust into full on drum n bass like drum pattern creating a mesmerizing hybrid joint that will not disappoint. Find The Quiet Places is another dive into the progressive world and once again the groove is spot on. Rich in melodies and driven by a tight drum and bassline combo this one is destined for the floors no doubt. Plaji gives off a smooth downtempo vibe before we hit the floors again with the delicious Re-Run with its full on prog mode switched to 11. We finish up with the serene, lush vibes of A Victim Of Circumstance, the perfect ending to an inspiring and thought provoking album. One thing is for sure, this album will be praised by all as a masterclass in production, arrangement, composition and simply as a damn fine collection of tracks.

Flux BPM Online: 2 years in the making, #JustPerfect electronic music with mesmerizing atmosphere and wide variety of styles ranging from breaks to psy trance and deep melodic prog house that will definitely rejuvenate your attraction to electronic music albums. Losing Adequacy is one of those albums that has a story to tell and you better open the ears and let yourself be hypnotised in the middle of the dancefloors or in the comfort of your garden chair while you enjoy your refreshing fruit punch with plenty of ice. In this album there is plenty of warmth, mystery, tenderness, tension, intensity, relaxation, meditation and calmness. #PureGold Love IT

Best known for his work alongside Airwave on their Fire & Ice project, he also has quite an impressive collection of solo works.  [content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Two magnificent talents combine their forces for one of the strongest Green Martian releases so far with that old school Bonzai Music taste on it. Blufeld meets Dj Fire and the result are two equally mesmerising tracks ready for dancefloor domination. First Flight To Mars employs pulsating pumping basslines, driving chunky drums and very memorable synthy hook that is simple and straight to the point. Also they add a very cool hi-nrg slightly electro synthy riff that adds more energy and punchiness to make this a banger for early progressive trance sets. Whitsand Bay Memories moves on the progressive house meets progressive trance direction with tribalish drums, bouncy grooves, driving basslines, old school synthy riffs along with fluffy colourful optimistic themes. The breakdown has a short breakbeat section until to build up expectations for the final ride by adding touch of Airwave influences. Quality from start to finish. #PureGold Love It.[/content]

Blufeld returns after a short hiatus to deliver another stompingly good prog house cut 'Huddlestone Arch' which comes backed up with a raft of quality remixes from some of Green Martians best artists. Although David has been away from Green Martian for a short time he has maintained a constant force in the studio with other projects he works on. His last outing, the fantastic 'Metrobot City' was given the remix treatment and was very well received.

First up we get into the Original Mix which intros with a fading in percussion pattern and leads to a nice full and well rounded kick. Before long a lush, deep bass pulsates through the sound and provides a solid platform for the track. Very cool melodic arps begin to form and give off a smooth and groovy vibe. The break delivers an almost chilled out experience as that bass takes the lead and allows subtle melodies to float by before returning to the main track resulting in a real smooth and uplifting journey, great stuff!

Brazilian DJ and producer Mathie DeLois also returns to the Green Martian stable with his stunning remix. Mathie's previous release 'Warning EP' was a popular choice among the prog fraternity and here he continues that vein. A tip of the hat to the original as the track eases in with some cool percs as melodies begin to form. The track gets into full swing as the tight kicks and pulsating bass burst through. The break inspires a hands in the air moment as big bassy synths are let loose alongside those cool melodies. A very nice track indeed that will draw a lot of attention.

Next up on the remix we have another GM artist, Delphi. This guy had a great reaction to his last outing 'Mariana Trench' and here we are sure to see this repeated. Nice and chunky kicks get the track moving with a rhythmic percussion section soon following. The kicks alone will move you as they have a certain quality that just shouts DANCE! The bubbly bassline adds to the dance factor and is complimented perfectly by a relentless stuttering effect on the synth that constantly morphs with well tweaked parameters. Expertly crafted drums and subtle melodic arps give a cool distraction as this track just seems to plough on through, a big sound no doubt and one that will feature heavily in many sets for sure.

Melbourne based Narel aka Nick Simmons is the perfect choice for remix duties here. Nick's diverse skills always seem to apply maximum quality in his works. His last outing was for LCD Recordings with 'The Machines Were Dreaming' which performed very well indeed. Here the track intros with a cool clanging type sound that soon leads to a very cool bassline that screams progressive. Phat kicks make a show and are the catalyst to an absolute stomper of a tune. Layer upon layer build up smoothly as each sound comes through and lead to a nice melodic arp the sets the track up beautifully. At the break a full flowing and uplifting experience ensues makes certain that this epic journey will leave a positive mark no doubt!

Rounding off this superb pack we have Blufeld's Hideaway 'Chilldown Mix'. David strips away all the stomping beats and leaves a truly amazing and inspiring piece of music. Subtle melodies that tease and tease as they weave cool patterns throughout the sound will leave you begging for more. Extremely downtempo beats are the perfect addition to this arrangement and overall you will be left with a fresh sense of being, it is that powerful!

Laurent Veronnez aka Airwave puts on his fantastic Lolo guise to bring us a stunning slice of progressive goodness. Lolo has been responsible for some very memorable tracks over the years and here 'Laia's Daydream' is no exception. As you will no doubt have noticed Laurent is still a very busy guy. He is currently riding high in dance charts with material on Joof, Bonzai Progressive and his own LCD Recordings is also performing very well indeed. A truly inspiring artist with a lot more to offer!

The Original Mix has that classic DJ friendly kick and hat intro which forms up into cool rhythmic patterns alongside a tight percussion arrangement. A beautiful melodic arp springs to life giving off a dreamy atmosphere. An energetic bassline soon finds its way into the track as it bubbles up from the depths and really drives the track forward. Sweetly plucks and warm pads linger in the background as this relentless groove powers on. Intricate melodies begin to rise and climax in a truly euphoric experience. Absolutely stunning from Mr Veronnez yet again and one not to be missed!

Airwave's Breaks Mix intros with a nice chunky kick with hints of melody in the background, the percussions are tightly packed and really get the groove flowing. A huge rising pad takes us into the main sound as a deep droning bass contrasts beautifully with some genius synth work. The melodies come forth for the duration as we are taken on a sublime journey through euphoria. Such wonderful stuff here which will be a big feature in many sets for sure.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest record labels in the trance history is Green Martian. Just in front of me in my extensive vinyl collection I have those classics that will be played again produced by the mastermind of trance Laurent Veronnez. One of his most memorable projects is of course Lolo and his return is the fantastic production Laia's Daydream. Its hard to describe the greatness of this record cause it really awakes me memories from my all night 8 hours radio shows when I was playing Laurent exceptional tracks and the listeners where phone in to ask the titles.  Laurent music was, is and will be a big inspiration for many trance fans worldwide. Laia's Daydream is an emotional trance masterpiece  with balearic touches packed with the classic Laurent tough kicks, deep haunting basslines, gated synths, trancy voices and that relentless build up of all the melodic layers that create that hypnotic atmosphere that we can define as the state of trance. Airwave's break mix is an emotional breaks version that will make you feel like being a liquid. Its calming, soothing, relaxing, and the finest track to finish your dj set. Its one of those tracks that can make you cry for sure. #PureGold I hope that trance fans will support this top release to reach the number 1 at the beatport trance charts! Thanks so much Laurent, Marnik and Fly for making me through your music for so many years part of your Bonzai family! Big LOVE!

Tom and Andre are back to Green Martian with the stunning 'Marcahuasi' along with a brilliant remix by none other than Velvet Girl.

The Original Mix is a smooth progressive house cut filled with a deep, lush groove which emanates from the bass and accompanying sweet melodic sequences. Chunky kicks and sharp hats provide the intro as well as some very sleek synth work. The track transforms when that bass comes through, it totally takes over the sound and locks you right into its vibe. Beautifully contrasting sounds work so well together as the track captivates the mind body and soul. Top stuff from the guys.

Velvet Girl aka the legendary Airwave gets to grips on the remix, and what a stomper he has in store. Huge big kick intro with a beautiful rising chord sequence which takes into progressive house utopia. A throbbing, unwinding bass is let loose and gives off an air of funk into the sound, this is coupled with some quality echoing arps and serves to deliver a stunning groove. The structure is built brilliantly as the layers produce a myriad of sounds that take you far away. Aside from that bassline the big hitter is a superb, groovy riff which is a very cool dynamic on the track. Amazing slice from Laurent and a must to be played out and cherished by many.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  The legendary imprint Green Martian impress the world with quality releases through the main years of its existence. Now specialises in melodic progressive house and the latest one is a real treat. Tom Conrad & Andre Bonsor presents their deep progressive house beauty Marcahuasi. Its a wonderful dreamy exotic track that will calm your senses and let you travel for a while to another space and place. Its the perfect track to warm up your crowd and give them a moment of meditation as well. It has the funk, the melody, the groove and the nice rolling driving beat that keeps you wanting more. On the remix duties is Velvet Girl and he does something really outstanding once again. The beloved Laurent provides his melodic tribal progressive house meets trance version that elevates the track to the next level and he turns it into something inspirational decorated with some really summery colourful melodies that brings Ibiza in your mind straight away. Spacious, sparkling and so exciting return for the beloved Velvet Girl project #PureGold Love iT

Noa Romana and Deersky aka Piotr Sarnecki join forces on Green Martian for their debut two tracker "The Waterfall Reflection". Belgian Noa draws his influences from electronic greats like Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Moroder and others. Aside from production he hosts radioshows on Pure FM and Insomnia FM. Polish producer Deersky first got into electronic music through listening to Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, Robert Miles, Underworld, Moby, Paul Oakenfold and The Prodigy. Since 2002 he has been heavily into progressive house and that's what he loves most nowadays. The guys have worked together for over three years on various projects including radio, DJing and production, and they sure do work well together.

"The Waterfall Reflection" is an uplifting, feel good vibe. The intro sets that mood straight away with a cool plucky synth and mellow pad. The kicks add a great dynamic to this and the bass delivers a truly lush groove. Beautiful melodic sequences find their way through the sound with arps and the odd vocal snippet. Wonderfully rich track that will turn a lot of heads for sure.

"Dreaming Awake" is proper prog house stomper, the intro boasts a huge thumping kick which is contrasted by swirly synths and when the bass come through it adds a whole new dimension to the sound. Again the guys throw in stunning, complex melodies which are a joy to listen to and make this a track that you will listen over and over again and identify new things every time.

Kindred Spirits are production duo Jakhira aka and Cosmic Tracer, the guys are back on GM after their first release "Smooth Tricks EP" gained much support. This time we are treated to another two tracker entitled "Square 1 EP". This duo really know their stuff, the title track intros with some fantastic hypnotic tribal rhythms which build into a sublime slice of euphoric progressive house. The melodies combine beautifully and the subtle basses add a lush texture. On the break warm pads fade through while melodies creep back into play. The percussion and drum arrangements are top notch and make this track stand out well, superb stuff!

"The Circuit" gives off a retro vibe as the kicks and percussions will attest. The track focuses on the drums as they lock you in the groove, then on the break stunning melodic pads make a show alongside a wonderful droning synth and stark contrasts are drawn. A real sense of oldskool hardcore can be felt within the sound yet the vibe stays true to modern progressive house, great stuff.

Davide returns to Green Martian after his last outing "Distant Dream" on Mars Attacks with this wonderfully lush four tracker entitled "Desert Sky". Based in Aalborg, Denmark, DJ and producer Davide has seen releases on labels like Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, Cold Breath and Incepto Bundles. His work includes collabs with VitoDito and Silver J where he churns out his own brand of progressive vibes.

First up we have "Desert Sky" which intros with a very cool kick and perc combi that steadily builds smooth rhythms. A fantastic deep house styled synth wallows through the sound and is soon joined by some melodic keys and a deep resonating bass. The vocal sample blends into the groove perfectly rounding off in a true deep house joint, top stuff.

"Burning Sand" takes us into a more progressive house groove with a wonderful gritty, raw bass that gives off a contrasting vibe to the cool melodic synth arps and warm pads. The break brings more melodies with sweet pianos before that gritty synth bites back and fuses perfectly into beautifully crafted slice of house music.

"Fresh Breeze" ups the tempo with a stunning funky riff that dominates the sound. This is contrasted with a big dirty bass and cool piano melodies. Smooth rhythmic sequences are formed out a tight drum and percussion arrangement. Debut release on Green Martian for Irish DJ and producer Eddie Murray aka Aeonism with his track "My Soul" which comes backed up with two top quality remixes. Eddie has been a resident DJ with John O'Callaghan's Subculture agency, label and imprint and has begun to bring his studio productions to the live stage. He has seen releases on the likes of Baroque Records and Hotfingers, these sounds have gained support from top jocks including Tiesto, BBC Radio 1, Oakenfold, Above & Beyond, Dave Seaman, Manuel De La Mare, Alex Kenji, Tom Middleton, Andy Moor and many more.

The Original Mix intros with a fantastic bass and kick combi with very cool synths joining to get us right into a blissful house groove. The bassline stands out superbly as it delivers a solid groovy rhythm. Sweeping pads and beautiful melodic sequences add that uplifting touch making this a must have in any set.

Purveyor of fine prog house grooves Blufeld adds his talents in the remix pool with a sublime effort. Here the original mix is stripped down resulting in a slightly darker tone with focus on deep resonating basses and hypnotic synths. Subtle melodies try to peak through deep grooves and on the break they get their chance to shine in a wonderful sequence that leads us right back into this full on prog house stomper. Top quality stuff yet again from the land of Blufeld.

Davide Catania settles in at the remix desk with his take on the original. Davide has seen releases on Green Martian in the past with his most recent "Desert Sky" performing very well. Here he beefs up the sound with much tougher style of sound. The basslines pack a massive punch and contrast well with the sweet piano melodies before breaking down into a cool synth led riff that takes us back into a tough and solid groove. Top track and sure to be popular among many jocks.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The legendary record label Bonzai Progressive presents the brand new single by Aenosim that is supported by two great remixes as well. My Soul in its original mix is a wonderful melodic upfront progressive house journey with tribal groovy beats, deep driving basslines, very sweet melodic layers and cool vocal samples as well. It's very emotional, floating journey that can easily be played from progressive house & trance djs as well. Blufeld is one of those secret heroes who manage with low profile to establish himself and win the admiration of many fans. His version is deeper with more drive and energy as well. Haunting energetic electroish bassline, cinematic atmosphere, incredible melodies and heavenly voices creating a mysterious soundtrack that human soul will enjoy. Davide Catania remix respects perfectly the atmosphere and the mood of the original with an excellent twist of chunky groovy techy beats, deep basslines and stunning breakdown with sensitive euphoric synths and blissful piano melodies. Great version that moves in and out of house and trance very easily. Highly recommended package not to be missed. Love iT

The ever impressive Blufeld returns with a follow up to his 2009 prog trancer "Metrobot". This sequel entitled "Metrobot City" comes with two superb remixes and is sure to be a hit just like his 2009 track. Currently Blufeld is busy with remixes and original material with the possibility of a few collabs also, so watch this space!

The Original Mix intros with deep rising synths and subtle percussions, this leads up to a chunky kick which gets the groove flowing. Throughout the track the kicks transform into a type of mini breaks which adds a lot of character to the sound. Melodies play a big part here also with many variations combing beautifully and becoming prominent on the break. After the break the track gains a lot more momentum as the vibe intensifies, quality stuff!

First up on remix duties is an emphatic duo who are no strangers to the Bonzai stable. Castra & Sovve serve up a real summery treat on their remix. The guys have both featured many times across many of Bonzai's different labels and both guys have also worked with Blufeld in the past. The remix takes on a much more upbeat vibe, the classic kick and hat intro blends nicely into a full on pumping track when the bass comes through. The delightful melodies soon follow and you really do get a sense of summer from the sound. On the break the melodies are king and these build up brilliantly to a perfect climax before settling back into a smooth blissed out ride.

Tokyo based producer 06R is next up on remix. Hisataka is fresh from his last release which was "Air 2.0" on Green Martian and he always delivers the goods with his own brand of quality. Here his remix takes the breaks route with a very intense mixture of sounds. From the off a super tight breaks arrangement takes hold with many more layers being added throughout. The melodic sequences are top notch and blend so well with the tougher side of the breaks. A must have for those later evening terrace parties.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The exceptional producer Blufeld returns on Green Martian / Bonzai Progressive with his latest hit Metrobot City. Once again the very talented young producer has build a beautiful ride of cinematic sounds packed with emotional moments, danceable beats and deep electrifying basslines. Blufeld moves in and out of progressive trance with strong house elements as well. If you play early morning sets don't miss the magnificent Castra & Sovve remix. Their name is guarantee for quality trance journey with balearic trance meets house textures. Dreamy, relaxing, optimistic and highly danceable too. This duo never fail to impress and always stand out. The top Japanese producer O6R service the superb breaks remix that is simply outstanding. Travelling chunky breaks, fat basslines, ambient smooth breakdown and driving final part. Its the kind of tracks that you close your eyes and the mind start its own dirty games. Sonic experience not to be missed. Love iT
