Recently launching their brand-new album ‘Escape’, in-demand duo Gorgon City have now unleashed the vibrant remix package of latest single ‘One Last Song.’

Dropping their own Terrace Mix of the original, featuring singer/songwriter JP Cooper and English rapper Yungen, Matt and Kye (Gorgon City) fuse the the soulful anthem with a club-heavy feel, working in rumbling chord patterns and dance-floor ready loops.

The mix is of stark contrast to the steel-drum influenced tones of Prismo’s rework. The 21 year old producer and songwriter is best known for his 2017 original production ‘Weakness’, which has amassed over 6 million Spotify streams so far. Rounding off the remix EP with his floor-shaking beats, Eli Brown delivers a thumping house vibe to his mix.

Having established themselves as one of the most in-demand acts around, Gorgon City have enjoyed stellar success over the past 5 years thanks to their unique blend of bass-driven house music, amassing over 676 million combined streams to date, and launching their own club-focused REALM imprint. Having sold over 70,000 UK copies of their debut album ‘Sirens’, the pair are undoubtedly one of the biggest names in dance music right now.

With Gorgon City playing a wealth of dates across the UK between January and February 2019 during their ‘Escape’ Tour, Matt and Kye will also embark on a huge run of US performances, playing to over 40,000 people with scheduled events at the likes of Philadelphia’s iconic Fillmore venue, and further performances in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and many more.

[item value="10"]Gorgon City - One Last Song feat. JP Cooper & Yungen (Remixes) [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Gorgon City are beloved in the underground and mainstream with their track One Last Song feat. JP Cooper & Yungen being one of their more accessible with great vocals and lyrics that you can easily identify with and feel that come out of your life. The cool tropical house groove and the laid back sounds make it perfect for beach bar and parties by the sea. The remixes are adding the credible touch to the package with Terrace Dub being the superb tough bouncy version with heavy early 90's infused basslines, tribal drums, piano chords full vocal and fantastic flute melody. Eli Brown delivers the more big room friendly version with plenty of nice thumping basslines, sexy tribal grooves, old school rave riffs and distorted vocal snippets. The result is a version not to be missed. Lastly Prismo adds his trap meets tropical version for a nice slow relaxing smooth summery sun-drenched juicy version. #PureGold #PurePoP  [/content]

Positiva continue their series of 25th Anniversary remixes by revisiting one of the biggest club tracks from the early days of the label, George Morel, as UK producer Melé delivers his rework of 1996 original ‘Let’s Groove.’

A percussive and tribal house DJ, artist & innovator, Melé’s brand of euphoric high-octane dance music is inspired by his love of Brazilian beats and transatlantic hip hop, with the Liverpudlian tackling ‘Let’s Groove’ with impeccable flair, lacing the original with his unique and energetic sound.

Best known for his anthem ‘Ambience’, Melé has since gained prolific support and recognition from some of the biggest names across the scene, including Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, Tiga, Annie Mac, and Pete Tong. Releasing on imprints such as ‘Edible’ and legendary house label Defected Records, Melé continues to DJ around the world, supported by his regular DJ mix series ‘Melé’s Manor Rhythms’ which has continued to grow his following purely from his impeccable ability behind the decks as the perfect on-point party curator.

With the ‘Let’s Groove’ remix released on iconic imprint Positiva Records, the label is marking 25 years at the summit of dance music, showcasing their back-catalogue with a series of one-off parties and special releases. They recently marked the occasion in celebratory style with two of their tracks (Jonas Blue’s ‘Rise’, and Tiesto’s ‘Jackie Chan’) featuring in the Top #5 Official UK Charts.

A hugely popular original upon release in ‘96, George Morel’s hit used a traditional house music sequence with the most polished sounds of the era; a pumping kick, crisp hats, and an organ bass that gave the track added oomph on club sound-systems.

Released on Friday 24th August, the Melé remix of ‘Let’s Groove’ follows the British DJ’s hectic summer schedule which saw him play dates across elrow London Town, Tomorrowland, and Defected Croatia, with upcoming sets at Amnesia Ibiza, and The Warehouse Project.

Positiva continue their huge landmark year with a series of remixes available at the Positiva Vinyl Club ahead of the label’s forthcoming Positiva 25 compilation, out on 5th October.

 [item value="10"]George Morel - Let's Groove (Mele Mixes)[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The upcoming and highly recommended Mele is on remix duty for George Morel's beloved classic  Let's Groove. The rising artist adds his deep tribal house take to deliver a classy rework that deserves to be out there and drive once again the crowds insane. Tribal house grooves, bouncy thumping basslines, superb percussion with melodramatic drums and the well known melody played with classic organ sound and more tropical xylophone style as well. The vocal sample will definitely help you to identify your track but for me the instrumental version seems more condensed and right to the point perfect for some unstoppable plays. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

Simply one of the hottest records out there at the moment. With support from the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard and about every other specialist radio DJ out there), Purple Disco Machines huge new single 'Dished' is FLYING out there!!!

Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine is the man behind the anthems "My House", "Devil In Me" and more recently "Love For Days" with Boris Dlugosch. The Dresden native's next dancefloor bomb is "Dished" (Male Stripper). Now been signed to the legendary Positiva Records, this now looks set to be THE anthem of the summer.

Dished (Male Stripper) boasts all the hallmarks of a future festival and club anthem. In the same way that Body Funk masterly made the sum of two disco songs bigger than their parts had ever been, this time Purple Disco Machine takes some Italo-disco from Man 2 Man Meet Man Parrish 'Male Stripper' and mashes it with the aptly named Ellis D’s Dishapella to create an absolute 12/10.

It's quality. Its camp and it's bloody huge.

[item value="10"]Purple Disco Machine - Dished (Male Stripper)[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Purple Disco Machine has manage to bring to the masses the most infectious underground record that is ready to become part of daytime radio playlists. The success of Dished (Male Stripper) is result of the very infectious synthy hook that has epic atmosphere and totally great party feel to it along with well known diva style vocal samples. Now the great selection of remixers add their spin and transform the record into the next big thing on your dancefloor. Illyus & Barrientos create an excellent tribal house infused version with Latin touch and late night steamy hot and sexy sweaty atmosphere with lazer effects, horns and that crazy riff to make you go ballistic. Nicky Night Time Remix has majestic slow old school house groove with the full vocal and great take on the well known kinky riff. Alphalove Remix takes the mainstream route and translates the track for the mainstage audiences with big basslines and massive drop that adds a nice eurodance twist to get those juices flowing. Tuff City Kids Remix starts with the great vocal sample while the massive theme is recreated with full synths and the whole track takes the 90's balearic house sound with rave magic spells here and there. So colorful and melodic will be hard not to carry you away. Lastly Babert Italo Disco Remix goes towards the nice old school disco roots with energetic basslines, groovy drums, vocal samples, synths and strings in the right direction to bring back that unity on the discofloor feeling. #PureGold Love IT[/content]
