[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The beloved dj, producer and label owner Rafael Frost presents his excellent vocal trancer Call This Love with the one and only Neev Kennedy on vocal duties. The track is a powerful romantic anthem with electro touched basslines, pulsating grooves, great progression of the various synthy hooks and even influences from early Deadmau5 sound. The breakdown is fantastic opportunity for Neev to shine with her distinctive highly powerful and truly evocative voice that sings of course quality meaningful lyrics. The climax is big as it can possibly be with epic anthemic atmosphere supported by euphoric synthy stabs and rough and jumping foundation. Mainstage trance djs will adore this one. #PureGold Love It[/content]

REVIEW: Rafael Frost - Electrix out on Frost recordings

Flux BPM Administrator

02:38:00

We're kicking 2016 off in style here at Frost Recordings as the new year is looking like another big one for our CEO Mr. Rafael Frost. 'Electrix' slams onto our playlists as Rafael once again manages to balance a multitude of genres and top it off with his trademark sound. Gentle Trance moments give way to a Progressive build before ramping up into Electro territory for high-energy peak-time madness. The whole place will be shaking after this one...

Enjoy and Play LOUD!

Listen to or download 'Electrix' here: https://RazNitzan.lnk.to/Electrix

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings is releasing an energetic prime time mainstage trancer from the label owner Rafael Frost that is called Electrix. As the title suggests is a powerful aggressive punchy mainstage smasher with main ingredient the smashing rock guitar riff that is distorted stretched and pushed to the limit to create the desired effect. Pounding rough drums, electro infused rave style basslines and superb breakdown that is melodic but not in an uplifting way. The climax is going towards the rough, ferocious and totally uncompromising direction that dares to be different. Dynamic tight arrangement throughout Electrix will keep the clubbers floating on the top of it and jumping with joy. 10/10 #PureBassPower Love IT!

REVIEW: Zack Shaar - Showdown out on Frost recordings

Flux BPM Administrator

04:05:00

Becoming somewhat of a regular here at Frost Recordings, and we are certainly not complaining, is Zack Shaar who is coming off a couple of big releases in ‘Along The Way’ and ‘City 21’. It’s easy to see why we can’t get enough of Zack and it’s not just the support from Above & Beyond on their Group Therapy radio show. His sound is fresh and extremely well produced, the only way is up for this young star.

‘Showdown’ is the next gem to hit our speakers and brings together everything we’ve come to expect: slick production, new school sound and an electric atmosphere bursting with energy.

Enjoy and PLAY LOUD!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings continues to impress with forward thinking modern neo progressive trancers that doesnt respect the boundaries, the rules and the music genres convention. For example the latest release by Zack Shaar is super fresh and extremely exciting record called Showdown that will please those who want their trance to be wicked and a bit twisted. Energetic agressive electro basslines merged with techy chunky bouncy grooves while the breakdown is truly musical and melodic with deep melancholic piano melodies along with nice warm synths and airy strings. The build up is intense and the swan is transformed into a monster ready to explode. The climax is fat, stomping and big room to the maximum. We are Serious this track is not for the weakhearted. REVIEW: Zack Shaar - Along The Way out on Frost recordings

05:18:00

The star continues to rise for our next artist as he continues to make a big impression on the Trance community. Zack Shaar certainly hasn’t been keeping still as we bring you his 3rd release here on Frost Recordings. ‘Invasion’ and the more recent ‘City 21’ have given us a glimpse of Zack’s talent and we only have one word: more.

‘Along The Way’ is the response and captures everything we love in that new Trance sound. Energetic drums combine with pulsating bass, massive synths and glitch elements to really get this track moving. A well measured breakdown builds from an electric atmosphere into all out dance floor mayhem as Zack nails it in the studio once again. You know you want to...

Enjoy and PLAY LOUD!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings is the globally known record label from the Netherlands owned by the beloved Rafael Frost. The latest release is an exceptional record that stands out from the moment your needle start playing the grooves of it. The upcoming and quickly rising Zack Schaar service the awesome Along The Way which is wonderful creation with electro infused sharp basslines, punchy energetic drums and colourful euphoric synthy hooks with twists and turns along with distortions and fancy effects. The breakdown is magical with emotional themes and luscious synthy plucks along with heavenly voices and very interesting distorted vocals that become more like an instrument and melody rather than being meaningful. The whole atmosphere is truly optimistic and balearic with summer vibes radiating to any dancefloor! Balearic big room trancer that will crank up your stereo soundsystem. #PureGold Love It

The latest addition to Rafael Frost’s already impressive resume is an epic vocal collaboration with the talented Maria Nayler. Rafael continues to go from strength to strength following his recent releases ‘Cubic’ and ‘Drive’ which received huge support from A-List DJ’s including Above & Beyond on their Group Therapy Radio Show. Maria has also made an impact most recently with the smash hit ‘Calming Rain’ with none other than Kyau & Albert.

REVIEW: Rafael Frost - Cubic out on Frost recordings

Flux BPM Administrator

18:18:00

The Rafael Frost star continues to rise as we bring you his latest offering here on Frost Recordings. Coming off recent hits including ‘Drive’ and ‘Never Been Hurt Before’ with Ana Criado which both charted in the Beatport Trance Top 10, the man of the moment keeps the ball rolling with his new track ‘Cubic’.

To say Rafael is perfecting his art is an understatement as he once again delivers a storming production complete with that Trademark Frost sound. A slightly more progressive feel to this one but still plenty of energy to get the dance floor moving and an electric atmosphere to really set the vibe.

Enjoy and Play LOUD!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings is on great shape servicing the electronic music community with star tracks like Cubic. Excellently accomplished production by the label owner Rafael Frost and tailor made for sweating big room mainstage trance sets. The metallic chunky grooves, the relentlessly building basslines and the superb synthy themes drive the track forward until to reach the breakdown. Colourful emotional synthy hooks explode out of nowhere and disappear after a while for that rockish aggressive bassline to come in and lead the track to the rough, aggressive and in your face headbanging climax. The drop is perfect for those maddening moments when the clubbers want to get out of their heads completely and utterly. The second breakdown is emotional and uplifting and what follows is an adrenaline charged drop with percussive melodies, swirling synths, sidechain effects and playful arrangement that keep your mind interested and hooked! #PureGold Love It

REVIEW: Zack Shaar - Invasion out on Frost recordings

Flux BPM Administrator

01:13:00

We always have an ear out for quality productions and something a little special here at Frost Recordings and our next release fits the bill perfectly. Zack Shaar first came to our attention with his releases on Beat Service Audio: the 3 track E.P - ‘Limo / Syphoria / Fierce’ and follow-up ‘Blue Pulse’.

Zack’s sound is completely fresh with incredible attention to detail and the trend continues here on ‘Invasion’. With an upbeat and almost bouncy groove. a touch of glitch, atmospheric breakdown and massive build-up and release, this track is a dance floor killer.

Enjoy and Play LOUD!

Dimitri Kechagias review: When your track is supported by the elite of trance djs you have the first sign that your productions are excellent enough to be included in their sets or radio show. Above & Beyond amongst others support the latest Zack Shaar beauty Invasion. The track is released on Frost recordings and is expected to make waves in the modern neo trance scene that doesn't mind influences from progressive house and electro house. Invasion is well-timed and tightly edited composition with only the serious beats included in it. After cool intro that any dj needs to make his transition Zack adds aggressive in your face basslines and pumping tribal techy drum that sounds simply fantastic. His breakdown is pure trance pleasure with warm synthy plucks, heavenly female voices and emotional themes that transfer your mind to a higher level. His climax though is pure mainstage experience with thunderous beats, classy emotional themes and even synthy riff that resembles jazzy saxophone. The result is a very imaginative record that pushes the boundaries and widen our music horizon. #PureGold Love It

REVIEW: Invalyd feat. Jonny Rose - Canyon incl Rafael Frost remix out on Frost recordings

Flux BPM Administrator

01:02:00

Invalyd’s last outing on Frost Recordings could only be considered a success. ‘Never Coming Down’ featuring Polina charted in the Beatport Top 10 and received a huge amount of support from big names in the business including Armin van Buuren, W&W and Markus Schulz.

This time around the talented producer teams up with Jonny Rose to give us ‘Canyon’, a storming production with a boat load of energy and an incredibly strong vocal performance. Remix duties are expertly handled by the man himself, Rafael Frost as he adds that trademark Frost sound we all love.

Enjoy and Play REALLY LOUD!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings strikes back with the magnificent new single by Invalyd featuring one of the best singers in electronic music at the moment, the one and only Jonny Rose who has one of the most powerful voices for sure. The track Canyon is offered in the original mix and Rafael Frost mixes both vocal and dub. The original mix is a dynamic very energetic epic big room progressive trance meets prog house hybrid with pounding drums, punchy energetic basslines and huge main euphoric synthy hook that blows your mind. Jonny Rose performance shines in the breakdown an add meaning and substance followed by the full on hands in the air euphoric climax. The label owner Rafael Frost transforms the original into mainstage anthem perfect to drop on festival arenas and observe the crowd go out of its head. Rougher aggressive electro infused basslines, pulsating grooves and cranking drums while on the breakdown he reveals his rave style distorted synthy hook that simply sounds amazing in huge soundsystems. The drop is right in your face headbanging moment that nothing will stay the same. The package includes the dub mix for those who would like to focus on the melody and infectious groove but in my opinion this track is all about Jonny's presence in 75% and the rest is the well produced backing foundation. But in all successful singles like this one every single element comes together to shape the whole shinning picture. 100% HIT, Love It

Dimitri Kechagias review: Frost recordings is the top label headed by Rafael Frost who is responsible for some very essential bangers for your dj sets. Now the stunning Dutch talent strikes back with something really loud and truly unbelievable. He offers some clean, pure and fresh Oxygen with the track that will surprise his older fans but can help him actually to reach wider fanbase. Oxygen is a modern neo progressive trancer tailor made for mainstage dj performances so you can expect to hear it a lot on the big summer festivals. It applies the very techy metallic kick drum combined with pulsating throbbing basslines that nicely lead us on his breakdown that starts with huge euphoric synthy hooks and distorted vocal samples. The distorted synthy hook appears again on the massive thunderous drop to bring mayhem and cause huge explosions on the dancefloor. Very groovy, danceable and freaked out will keep the crowd jumping without doubts. His second longer breakdown except the euphoric synthy hooks includes progressive style piano chords and hand claps to encourage the clubbers to become more active and interact with their dj. The final drop is totally rough, aggressive but very groovy and fun to dance along. Oxygen is a powerful track that will keep Rafael's reputation on high levels. #PureGold Love iT

Dimitri Kechagias review: There are many words that can describe Rafael Frost but two of the best should be passionate and inventive. Rafael Frost presents on his own very successful record label Frost recordings his exceptional modern neo prog trancer Wildcard. With openminded attitude towards influences Wildcard incorporates creatively elements of progressive trance, big room trance and of course electro and big room progressive house. Rough and ready to impress kicks and flexible electrified freaked out basslines are combined to create that Mammoth size groove that will move even mountains and sky scrapers. There is no human brain that can resist the urge to dance when the heavy dynamic and roof raising synths on the massive euphoric breakdown are unleashed to their full glory. His climax that you can call also drop is intense, earth shaking and mindblowing as it adopts a very playful arrangement with sharp basslines that is twisted, groovy, colourful and very euphoric as well. When you play Wildcard in your favourite club you will notice its impact and its explosive side effects. The crowd seems to adore it and reacts positively from is very first minutes till its last. Don't miss one of the biggest mainstage anthems for the summer of 2014. #PureGold Love it

The latest one comes from the hands of the label owner dj & producer Rafael Frost who confirms once again with this track New York his reputation as one of the most vital players in the progressive EDM scene today. New York is a powerful electro meets progressive house meets trance and big room club hybrid that has the words immediate satisfaction writer all over it. With influences from the style of melodies we listen the last year on tracks from USA based producers is definitely a very effective take on the EDM mainstage festival house sound redefined through the filters and prism of the classic mainly trance influenced Rafael Frost established and highly beloved style. New York has the unforgettable hands in the air melody that stuck in your head and will be impossible not to whistle it after you will leave the club or festival. Its the kind of track that you take back home in your mind after a sweaty night out! Highly recommended and one of the first big room anthems of 2014. Love iT

For the Label's third offering we are delighted and excited to present to you a killer new collaboration release. This time Rafaël Frost is connecting to US singer songwriter Jennifer Rene to deliver the appropriately titled "Higher" that takes Vocal Trance to a whole new level. This release definitely sees both Rafaël and Jennifer at the top of their game!

Early support from Armin (ASOT) and Markus Schulz (GDJB).

Enjoy and play loud!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved Rafael Frost rocks the trance world with his record label Frost recordings and his 3rd release is a straight forward winner. He works together with one of the finest and most emotional voices in trance, the delicate and always fragile Jeniffer Rene. When I saw Jennifer's name on the title I was expecting something more smooth and delicate but Rafael Frost surprised me as he delivers his unique rough and heavy progressive sound that targets the mainstage sets. His aggressive in your face industrial basslines are combined with his pumping beats, the blissful melodies and the nice synths. The breakdown is mesmerising for sure with beautiful smooth atmosphere that works as the perfect soundbed for Jeniffer Rene to perform her lyrics that soon the trance family will learn by heart and sing a long. Of course Rafael soon reveals the distorted rave style synthy lead that is very addictive and catchy indeed. When the beat cracks back the whole dancefloor will erupt and the clubbers out of order will get wild and start jumping around. The sweetness of the vocals and the melodies is perfectly balanced with the more hard elements in order to deliver the sense of being Higher while you experience that track. Peak time anthem not to be missed and played on repeat mode. There is a dub mix for those who would to concentrate on the epic synths and big room sound. Love IT

REVIEW: Invalyd feat. Polina - Never Coming Down out on Frost recordings

For the second release on his new label, Frost Recordings, Rafael Frost invites San Francisco's rising star Sagar Vashishta aka Invalyd to debut his massive new single "Never Coming Down".

The track features the amazing vocalist Polina Goudieva. You might have seen her name or heard her on tracks by Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Kaskade and Avicii among her selected collaborations and lately landed a massive new feat. with no other than Eminem!

"Never Coming Down" is now backed by an exclusive Rafael Frost Remix that has already been Smash of the week by W&W on their Radio show, Markus Schulz' GDJB and landed on Armin's ASOT.

This one is HUGE!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The fresh record label Frost recordings headed by Rafael Frost returns with its 2nd massive release called Never Coming Down by the hands of Invalyd featuring the beloved globally known singer Polina. The original mix is a warm melodic progressive trancer with house touches as well. Pumping beats, electro inspired basslines, euphoric synths and stunning breakdown with warm and tender piano melody that touch you deeply along with Polina's heartfelt performance that she sounds so fragile and sensitive and very romantic as well. The climax is full on euphoric progressive stormer that will move even the most bored clubber in the world ever. Hands will stay in the air and lips will sing along with Polina for sure. The Rafael Frost remix is a tougher interpretation on the well known style of mr label boss. Banging techy greedy aggressive basslines and pumping metallic beats combined with the emotional impact that Polina adds instantly with her very expressive performance. Harder and ready for mainstage sets Rafael delivers another monster remix with energy, dynamism, passion, lust and melodic goodness. The same remix is offered in its dub version as well for those who like less vocals and want to concentrate on the thunderous sun shinning production. Love it!

Play loud and enjoy!

Dimitri Kechagias review: I'm very glad to see one of my beloved trance artists, the very talented Rafael Frost spreading his wings and setting up his own record label particularly in the welcoming family of Adrian & Raz recordings. Frost recordings starts with a massive bang and Rafael's latest hybrid nasty club cracker is called GO. You can call it Big room trance or even prog tech trance but you can easily name it as EDM style as well with progressive and electro elements. GO is the kind of track that will be appealing for wide selection of djs that can easily play it in their trance or progressive house sets as well. Powerful and very dynamic with tough techy beats, electro inspired playful and unconventional basslines while the breakdown reveals the very dark and sinister piano melody that will hypnotise you for a while because when the huge synthy lead appears it will be hard to stand still. You will experience hair raising reactions and goosebumps from head to toe. The old school vocal sample demands to GO and the full on climax to create mayhem and mass massacre on the dancefloor. Driving and energetic to the maximum GO is the sure party floor filler that big rooms, trance clubs and EDM festivals will play on repeat mode this winter. Good Luck to Rafael with his label. Love iT
