Having taken the dance scene by storm from over a year, thanks to early support from Solomun, Massano, Kevin de Vries, Anyma, Carlita, Mau P, CamelPhat, Adam Ten, and Mita Gami, the highly anticipated and heavily supported dance rework of Timbaland and Nelly Furtado’s iconic 2007 hit ‘Give It To Me’ finally sees its official release. Blending a punchy, bass-driven melodic techno sound with the unmistakable vocals and melodies of the original classic, “Give It to Me – 2025” delivers a powerful dose of nostalgia wrapped in modern club energy. As addictive as it is evocative, the track has already earned anthem status, receiving early support on some of the world’s most iconic stages—including Tomorrowland, Awakenings, Off Week Barcelona, the vibrant party scene of Tulum, and most recently, Adriatique’s sold-out Cinquantenaire Open Air show in Brussels.
About the Remix, Adriatique shares, “We’ve always loved the raw energy of ‘Give It to Me.’ This new version is our tribute to the original- reworked with Notre Dame into a darker, more club-focused track. It’s been a highlight in our sets over the past year.” While Notre Dame commented, "Timbaland and Nelly Furtado’s productions were a formative influence on me, and revisiting 'Give It To Me' felt like stepping into a piece of music history. By a twist of fate, I ended up partnering with Adriatique to work on this remix. We wanted to preserve the raw attitude of the original while reimagining it through our own language, built for late-night tension."
Ultimately, this version magnifies the scope of “Give It To Me,” adding a different dimension, elevating it to another level, and turning it into a high-energy dancefloor anthem. On the Remix, a head-nodding synth loop and thick bassline accelerate the tempo, accenting the instantly recognizable back-and-forth between Furtado and Timbaland.

Maintaining the spirit of the original with refreshed, recharged, and reignited energy, it has all the makings of a summer banger.

“Give It To Me” initially adorned Timbaland’s 2007 album Shock Value. It garnered a Platinum certification from the RIAA and catapulted to both #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Canadian Hot 100. Not to mention, it vaulted into the Top 5 in Ireland, the UK, Australia, Germany, and New Zealand.

Adriatique has remained impressively prolific this year. The collab “Love’s A Game” [with Bipolar Sunshine] received praise from EDMTunes and more. Prior, they served up a Remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s “In The Moment,” which has amassed north of 14 million Spotify streams and counting and earned acclaim from Dancing Astronaut who raved, “The remix stays true to the original while injecting it with a club-ready energy.” The duo have also brought their innovative international tour experience ‘X’ around the world, selling out at the Pyramids of Giza, Tulum, São Paulo, and Colombia.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame continues to take flight as a melodic house phenomenon. He has quickly emerged as one of electronic music's brightest new names, following the success of his acclaimed track ‘Yumi’, supported by top-tier acts including Solomun, Diplo, Adam Port, Dixon, Blond:ish, and Adriatique themselves. Plus, he dropped the Recollection EP highlighted by “Homesick” with Shoure. CULTR applauded, “Notre Dame is building something meaningful—and it’s worth paying attention.”

Clubland’s Cupids Drop Euphoric Vocal House Anthem Amidst Global Tour

Berlin’s beloved duo DJ HEARTSTRING have finally released one of their most sought-after tracks from their viral Boiler Room set. ‘Back To My Love’ is a euphoric vocal house anthem bursting with emotion, energy, and the duo’s unmistakable “live, laugh, love” signature.

The track arrives fresh off the duo’s standout set at Parklife Festival in Manchester, landing in the midst of a world tour that’s seen them win hearts from Berlin to Bogotá. Releasing ahead of only one more UK date confirmed for 2025, ‘Back To My Love’ marks another major milestone in a breakout year that also saw the release of their acclaimed EP ‘You Are The Sun, I Am The Sky’ — celebrated with a sold-out Valentine’s Day headline show at London’s iconic Camden Roundhouse.

About DJ HEARTSTRING

Duality has always been key for clubland’s cupids DJ HEARTSTRING. Whether it’s their balance between melancholy and euphoria, the way in which the German duo bring pop bangers to the dancefloor, or their crossover appeal that makes them equally as at home on big festival stages as playing Berghain, producers, DJs and songwriters Leo and Jonas have always played to each other’s strengths.

However, long before they became globe-touring artists with tens of millions of streams who can turn a Berlin corner shop into a tiny rave (with the help of pop icons Sugababes), they were two friends making music for fun. Growing up in a small village without a clubbing scene, Leo instead discovered EDM and artists like Deadmau5 by playing the video game DJ Hero and, aged 16, seeing Netsky perform at a festival. Watching everyone there dancing to his music made Leo think it must be the best feeling on earth. Inspired, he asked his parents for a set of turntables and later received Fruity Loops as a Christmas present.

After a six-month music production course, Leo moved to Berlin, found its techno scene and was introduced to city native Jonas who, formerly a fan of alternative rock and German hip-hop, was a regular at renowned underground clubs Magdalena and Tresor. Having been introduced to electronic music via Paul Kalkbrenner’s movie ‘Berlin Calling’, he got into production and was throwing open air parties with friends; alongside one pal, Jonas was booked to DJ a small 18-plus party when they were just 16.

After several years of hanging out, it wasn’t until clubs closed in 2020 that Leo and Jonas started messing around making tunes together – though, crucially, they didn’t put pressure on themselves. Realising they could do everything using just a laptop, they bounced onto the scene in 2021 with their Trance Dance Music (TDM) sound. With a generation of new fans hungry for increased BPMs, the pair - who came up with their artist moniker after brainstorming the most cliché, cheesy, trance-sounding names possible - quickly found their hard-and-fast primed audience. Keeping their faces obscured from social media in the early days also made clear that, while they might not take themselves too seriously, it’s all about the music. When venues reopened, the duo’s euphoric yet emotionally-charged hits and high-energy nostalgia tinged DJ sets - which typically feature unreleased tunes, tracks by like-minded artists and a big hands-in-the-air Coldplay moment - not only made them stand out from the crowd, but proved a tonic for ravers ready to let loose post-pandemic. Leo and Jonas have similarly made up for lost time: in 2024, they played Japan, Europe and America, and went viral with their Boiler Room Melbourne set; this year, they’ll make their Thailand/southeast Asia debut, head to South America for the first time, play a string of festivals and tour North America.

Despite such a packed schedule, artistic evolution remains key for the duo whose next EP, the emotion-filled ‘You Are The Sun, I Am The Sky’, is the result of the pair locking themselves away in an Airbnb in the German countryside. Doing nothing except making music (and eating frozen pizzas) resulted in a four-track collection of loved-up dancefloor heaters. Ravey opener  ‘Emotion Overload’ not only gets the party popping but truly lives up to the intensity of its name, embodying the duo’s hard trance sound as synths build to a huge earworm hook before the whole thing explodes with untamed elation. ‘Last Time Under Purple Skies’ is sure to have strangers hugging, eyes-closed, beneath neon strobes, and peak-time pumper ‘Green Wide Open’ is a surefire bet for this year’s summer anthem thanks to its Ibiza-ready hedonism. Bringing the EP to a close, the comparatively reflective ‘Stay Awake’ is destined to soundtrack
that moment before the club light’s come back on – one last rush before the end of the night.

To celebrate its release, DJ HEARTSTRING will play their biggest show to date in February: a Valentine’s Day rave at London’s 3,000-capacity Camden Roundhouse that’s likely to get tears falling on the dancefloor, and plenty of calls to ex-partners. Encapsulating the pair’s live, laugh, love vibe perfectly, Jonas has the last word: “we just want people to feel something!”

Ooh
Yeah yeah yeah
Just back up off my love
Yeah yeah yeah
Ooh I'm waiting for someone to really care
Just back up off my love
Yeah yeah yeah

You wanted my heart
You wanted my trust
Said I was everything you ever needed
But where are you now
I'm turned upside down
And what you said I can't believe it
Ooh

All my life I've waited for someone to love me
Yeah, for someone to really love me boy
You keep lying saying I was your one and only
All this time just caught up in your silly little games

All this time caught up in all the lies you told me
Why you gotta lie to me
Why you gotta lie to me boy
I'm so tired of your silly games
Just back up off me baby
Don't put your arms around me
Just get back, get back yeah
Get back up off my love

I don' think I even need you anymore
I don't really need you
Just get back, get back
Back up off my love
I don' think I even need you anymore
See me walking through the door
Yeah yeah yeah

Just back up off my love
Yeah yeah yeah

It took me so long
To see that you were so wrong
Cause in my heart I didn't want to believe it, no
There are no doubts
I finally worked it all out
You'll never find another love like me boy

All my life I've waited for someone to love me
Yeah, for someone to really love me boy
You keep lying saying I was your one and only
All this time just caught up in your silly little games

All this time caught up in all the lies you told me
I'm so tired of your silly games
Don't put your arms around me
Just get back, get back yeah

I'm so tired of your silly games
Just back up off me baby
Don't put your arms around me
Just get back, get back
Back up off my love
I don' think I even need you anymore
Just get back, get back
Back up off my love
I don' think I even need you anymore
See me walking through the door
Just get back
Just back up off my love
Yeah yeah yeah
Just get back
Just get back
Back up off me baby
Ooh
Yeah yeah yeah

[item value="10"]DJ HEARTSTRING - Back To My Love [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]DJ HEARTSTRING’s "Back To My Love," which captured attention during their Boiler Room set earlier this year, stands as a showcase of technical innovation and dynamic production under Armada Music. The track exemplifies the duo's skill in recontextualizing sound, particularly through their ingenious repurposing of Andre Le Phunk's original vocal lines to complement the high-octane energy of UK house. Diving deeper into the technical facets, "Back To My Love" operates at a brisk 140 BPM, which accentuates its vibrant, kinetic character. The production structure is rooted in hard house and trance elements, marked by punchy kick drums that provide a solid rhythmic foundation. These are complemented by resonant, rolling basslines and crisp, intricate percussion layers that collectively generate an infectious groove. The drums are meticulously EQ’d and layered, ensuring that each percussive hit maintains its clarity and punch within the crowded sonic spectrum. The vocal production is especially notable. The powerful diva-style vocals are enhanced through a careful application of reverb and delay effects, lending them a spacious, emotive quality while preserving articulation and presence in the mix. The vocals undergo subtle pitch modulation and dynamic processing, crafting a layered, textured vocal performance that resonates emotionally with the listener. Synth work is another highlight, featuring lush, arpeggiated sequences that interweave seamlessly with soaring lead synths. These leads are crafted with rich harmonic content and bright, euphoric timbres characteristic of trance, often modulated with filter sweeps and resonance adjustments to create dynamic movement throughout the track. The use of subtle detuning adds warmth and depth to the synth layers, enhancing their emotional impact. Sidechain compression techniques are expertly employed, not just to allow the kick drum to cut through effectively but also to introduce a rhythmic "breathing" effect that contributes to the track’s dynamic flow. The careful automation of effects, such as reverb tails and delay feedback, adds further depth and evolution to the arrangement. Memorable lyrical hooks, particularly the repeated motif "back to my love," are strategically placed to anchor the track emotionally and provide sing-along moments for club and festival crowds. The juxtaposition of nostalgic vocal melodies with modern, high-energy production creates a compelling contrast that defines the track’s appeal. This meticulous attention to detail in layering, modulation, vocal treatment, and mixing highlights DJ HEARTSTRING’s sophisticated approach to dance music production. "Back To My Love" is not just a peak-time club anthem but a testament to their evolving artistry and technical mastery, solidifying their position within the contemporary electronic music landscape. #PureGold LoveIT [/content]

Getting it on with some atypical rhythms, laid-back vibes, and Jackie Jaxx' impeccably timed rap, Dave Winnel delivers yet another unassailable masterpiece. It is said that 'Money' doesn't buy happiness. But this tune does make you feel pretty good, doesn't it?

[item value="10"]Dave Winnel feat. Jackie Jaxx - Money[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Money by Dave Winnel feat. Jackie Jaxx is an excellent trap production with very tough bouncy freaked out basslines, breaking electro grooves and strong female rap by Jackie Jaxx that targets the radio audiences. With pretty obvious lyrics about what money can not actually buy you and great rhythm is one of those tunes that stuck at the back of your mind without knowing why, Judge remix has a more melodic touch with cool deeper trap grooves and additional colourful organ riffs that add that tropical exotic flavour. It smells like summer anthem. Love It [/content]
