The legendary Exit Festival stage that promotes independent electronic music and contemporary culture, No Sleep Novi Sad will welcome Berlin’s leading techno institution Tresor on Friday, 8 July. The tour celebrating a quarter of a century for one of Europe’s leading clubs and an extremely influential record label, after Amsterdam, London, Detroit, and Sydney, is arriving to the Petrovaradin Fortress. The lineup will be led by the icon of electronic music and founder of Berlin’s contemporary sound Mortiz van Oswald, joined by the leaders of the new European techno scene Zadig, Dasha Rush and Psyk! The local scene will be represented by the producers who have performed at Tresor - Belgrade’s iconic producer, living and working in Berlin, Miloš Pavlović better known as Regen, as well as Belgrade’s new favourite and club Drugstore’s resident DJ, Filip Xavi.

The undisputed champion composer of the electronic avantgarde - Moritz van Oswald, has always been at the very top of contemporary world music innovations. Descending from the noble line of Bismarck, Von Oswald is a percussionist with a background in classical tradition, who early on started exploring the immense possibilities of the then new electronic genre. Bridging over the pioneering techno scenes in Detroit and Berlin which nurtured this sound, it was Von Oswald who pioneered Berlin’s contemporary sound, label and the club Tresor. He has founded some of the most prominent acts in the history of contemporary art: Basic Channel, Maurizio, Rhythm and Sound, as well as the famous Moritz van Oswald Trio, where he was accompanied by Tony Allen and Max Loberbauer. Together with Juan Atkins he also created Borderland, duo which recently released a new album, recognized by critics as one of this year’s best releases. Inspiring many and setting standards with his transformative sound, he characterizes his work as a special fusion of minimal and dub-techno. His partnership with Carl Craig on re-imagining the classical works of Ravel and Mussorgsky, as well as collaborations with renowned jazz trumpet Norwegian Nills Petter Movaerom speak volumes about the extent of Moritz’s love for music.

EXIT will also host the iconic Russian producer Dasha Rush, one of the most intriguing personas from the contemporary techno scene. Famous for her record label “Fullpanda”, she is also known for her authentic sound and the rare ability to erase boarders between genres and countless styles of electronic music. Today, her name synonymous with leading electronic events such as the Parisian Weather, Mexico’s Mutek, or Berlin’s Atonal, while her latest album “Sleepstep – Sonar Poems for My Sleepless Friends” brought the undivided attention of the entire musical community, and her two DJ mix releases “Intense Vertical” and “Sleepless Horizontal” will perfectly fit the wide spectrum of sounds that will feature at No Sleep Novi Sad Stage on Friday, 8 July.

One of the leading names from the neo-Parisian scene, Zadig is among the most credited artists for “The City of Light” returning to the map of contemporary techno music. His first release titled “Vision” opened doors to numerous labels, among which was Technasia’s renowned Sino, that exposed Zadig's talent to the world. His Construct Re:Form label emerged in 2011, along with the residency at the Rex club, where through promotions and collaborations with new exciting figures such as Antigone, Voiski, Birth of Frequency he strengthened the new Parisian scene. Today, Zadig is frequently playing clubs like Tresor and Concrete, as well as the popular Parisian Weather Festival.

Arriving from Madrid with an exquisite attitude, Psyk stands for one of the most talented producers that have emerged in the last several years. His tracks found place among the greatest electronic record labels such are Minus (before he even turned 19!),Drumcode, CLR and Mote-Evolver, which inspired legendary artists Oscar Mulero and Robert Hood to name Psyk as the most interesting techno producer today. Talent and hard work brought him success with releases such as “Lowdown” and “Eclipse”, as well as “Arcade” which reached the top of Resident Advisor’s prestigious chart! Nowadays, Psyk's furios sets can be heard at the major European clubs Fabric, Tresor and Concrete. His most extensive world tour yet awaits Psyk this summer, leading him to the very top of today’s techno scene.

The same night, Carola will be joined at Exit with the “Techno Baron” Dave Clarke, one of the greatest innovators and mix masters, and among the world leaders in electronic music. World’s major bass stars have confirmed their presence at the grand Exit Adventure, spanning all the way from Petrovaradin to Jaz! After a groundbreaking performance last year at Sea Dance Festival, Sigma are coming to Exit in glorious fashion! Sigma will also be joined by the jungle-reggae hero Congo Natty, a furious Russian trio Teddy Killerz, Canadian bassmaster Rene LaVice, as well as Sarah Farina, the Berlin rainbow-bass lady! To take the Adventure up to the ultimate boiling point, Sub Focus, alongside MC ID, as well as the famous Bristol duo My Nu Leng, together with Dread MC, are coming to Jaz Beach

On Thursday, 7 July the majestic opening of Exit Festival is added another thrilling spectacle, as the British duo Sigma, the authors of the colossal “Nobody to Love” that earned them two BRIT nominations are filling another Main Stage slot. They have collaborated with some of the world’s biggest stars, including Ellie Goulding, Kanye West, Paloma Faith and Kiezsa, whereas at the end of last year they released “Life”, an album which received numerous positive reviews by both fans and the critics. On the second day of Exit Festival, the crowd will be warmed up by the energetic performance delivered by Sarah Farina, coming straight from Berlin, and whose sets perfectly combine heavy bass with a futuristic rhythm protruding the walls of R&B and UK Funk. Sarah describes this style as rainbow-bass. Congo Natty, also known as Rebel MC, London’s jungle pioneer, arrives to the main stage on 8 July, with his utterly recognizable sound – a mix of pop-rap with hip-hop, dance music and reggae. On Saturday, 9 July, the Main Stage magic of sunrise will be kicked off by Canadian drum'n'bass producer Rene LaVice

One of Toronto’s best kept secrets, the most wanted North American DJ attracted the attention of BBC’s music giants, not to mention recognition by one of the biggest, most awarded producers, Andy C, who is also performing at this year’s Exit Adventure, at Sea Dance Festival With huge support of “175 bpm” elite that includes Sub Focus, Sigma and Andy C, the leader of RAM Records, Rene has become one of the most wanted DJs of bass music. Saturday’s at the Dance Arena have always been one of Exit Festival’s defining monuments, a time when a full-blown swarm of cheerful visitors go home after the sun had long ago reached an impressive altitude. This year will be no exception as the biggest dancefloor in this corner of the world welcomes some of the hottest electronic acts.

German superstar Robin Schulz brings some of the biggest dancefloor hits of the decade which earned him high ranking chart placement, performances at world’s leading festivals as well as clubs all around the world. This year saw his latest album “Sugar”, that includes collaborations with a large number of prominent names, e.g. Moby, J.U.D.G.E, Ilsey, soFLY, Graham Candy, Akon, DJ Moguai – just to name a few, as well as a Grammy nomination. Schulz will be performing at Exit’s Dance Arena on Saturday, 9 July. He will be joined on the same evening by David Guetta’s protégé, Dutch DJ, producer and Protocol recording label owner, Nicky Romero, who has been named one of the world’s best DJs by DJ Mag! He has won an MTV EMA award for the Best Dutch Act and he is one of Ibiza’s biggest clubs resident, headliner to some of the leading world festivals, including Tomorrowland and Ultra.

Sam Feldt has reached his peak with the hit “Show Me Love“ that ranked high on most of the European charts in the last few years. Hadrien Federiconi, also known as Federcompletes the list of deep house giants for this year’s Dance Arena. The winner of “Best New French DJ“ award at NRJ DJ Awards had his breakthrough in the world of deep house with his incredible remix of Rodriguez’s song “Sixto“, after which he released “Goodbye“ that hit number one on iTunes charts in all across Europe, including almost all radio stations in Serbia and the Balkan region.

House music royalty and one of the leaders of today's electronic scene, Solomun, returns to Exit Dance Arena on Thursday, 7 July with a much bigger status on the world scene compared to his debut at Exit in 2010. He was named Best DJ and Producer of the Year at DJ Awards, while he is currently working on his theme night "Solomun +1". One of the unofficial kings of Ibiza has been standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Richie Hawtin (Enter) and Marco Carola (MusicOn), and is also the proud owner of his "Diynamic" label, as well as the well-respected alternative label "2DIY4".

No Sleep Novi Sad, the second biggest electronic music stage of Exit Festival will be presenting its new program concept with some of the biggest world clubs and labels next summer during four festival nights behind the famous tunnel leading away from Dance Arena. The first club to confirm their presence at Exit Festival is the Paris based boat party Concrete, who will host their non-stop party on Saturday, 9 July. The show will be headlined by techno wunderkind, the star of a new generation Tommy Four Seven, followed by the leading Concrete residents and current leaders of the Paris techno scene, Antigone and Francois X, as well as one of the rising stars Shlømo who will bring his intense live performance to the No Sleep Stage!

Tommy Four Seven is a British producer that moved to Berlin in 2008, and in a short while established himself as one of the leading representatives of the ultimate and very competitive techno scene. Antigone is considered the leader of the French avant-garde techno scene that is once again on the rise. "Forbidden Work", released for the Construct Re-Form label, together with "Menace of the Species", and "Astral Traveller" have attracted the attention of some of the most important names, securing him a residency at Concrete. Francois X is a world-renowned DJ and producer, and one of the key factors of the French electronic scene. Francois X has been the leading resident of Concrete, alongside having a regular spot at Berghain and Fabric. His “Paris Boiler Room” mix is considered one of the best mixes from the venue. Shlømo is the youngest Concrete resident that will be performing on Saturday at the NSNS Stage. He founded Taapion Records in 2013, which featured names such as Birth of Frequency, Roman Poncet and Francois X. He became a part of the Concrete collective not very long ago, on 25 October, on the club’s 4th birthday; a party which is still being talked about after going on for three days and nights non-stop.
