Greek chill maestro Melosense strikes again. Coming off of his early-2022 release 'Story To Remember', the label regular returns with a delightful mash of slow grooves, warm chord plucks and contemplative vocals that hook listeners at every turn. For an enchanting, laidback listening experience, 'Can't Replace You' is the way to go.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Melosense is just a brilliant artist with music that you can simply resist it. Can't Replace You is not just chillin and smooth but it has the potential to become a huge radio and spotify hit. Smooth relaxing basslines, chunky grooves, warm sensual synths, tropical house melody and nice strings along with great romantic piano chords. The male vocal works like a treat upon the groove and it sounds like they were born together for sure. Melosense is a name that you can trust with great credentials so far in his career. Don't Miss IT. #PureGold Love it[/content]

Featuring various of his most notable productions yet, the first part of ‘Alive And Feeling Fine’ juggles a host of known hits (e.g. ’Crazy’, ‘Recognise’, ‘Melody’, ‘Truth Never Lies’) with several previously unreleased tracks, including collabs with the likes of Mokita and Throttle. Disc number two, the physical form of which is presented as a continuous mix, features deluxe mixes, Tomorrowland edits and esteemed remixes of tracks from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Estelle & Kanye West and The Rasmus. The result is a fully fledged, 23-track masterpiece that not only spotlights the Belgian superstar’s production prowess in full, but also one that was created with his new Lost Frequencies Live tour in mind, which will see him take the stage alongside a band and vocalist.

Lost Frequencies: “Compared to my first album, where I clearly split the laidback vibes and the electronic music, everything is merged in this new album. As you go through the first CD, it starts off with more organic sounds like guitars and a lot of vocals, mixed with electronic touches. But the further you go on exploring the tracks, the more club-focused it gets. That is because I grew as an artist over the last two years and now produce a lot of different styles and genres of music. The electronic part of me took more and more of a leading role in my music-making process, and I wanted to make that shine throughout my new album as well!”
“The overall idea I want people to have when they listen to this album is a positive energy with happy, yet emotional feelings. The name of the album says ‘Alive and Feeling Fine’, and that’s how I want people to feel. Thank you for listening!”

Felix De Laet, better known as Lost Frequencies, has been soaring to success in the international music industry on many levels. Releasing his debut single ‘Are You With Me’ back in 2014 turned out to be his big breakthrough as the track sold multi-platinum and took the #1 spot in 18 countries. Now, a mere five years later, Lost Frequencies is one of the most popular dance music artists of his generation. He was the first Belgian artist to secure five #1s in the official Belgian chart (as well as the first Belgian artist to hit #1 in the U.K.), collected billions of plays across the most popular streaming platforms with global hits such as ‘Are You With Me’, ‘Reality’ and ‘Crazy’ (with Dutch duo Zonderling), and released numerous impressive collaborations with the likes of Zonderling, Netsky, James Blunt, Aloe Blacc and, more recently, Mokita.

Let’s scrap the nonsense and get started on telling you about the Swiss born deep and future house DJ and producer, Breeze Records and events owner and basically an all-round good guy that loves a party. Holding residencies at Lavo and Marquee in New York and Las Vegas, Miami’s LIV & Story, Omnia San Diego and more, there is an amazing buzz for Zurich’s notable artist. From the sold out shows and billboards lining the streets of Europe to infinite releases on some of the globe’s leading dance labels, we’ve got the goods on Gil.

Enlisting his roots in the open format world, Gil had a light bulb moment with house music that lit up his profile. At the top of his game, his resonation with pioneering talent like EDX, Oliver Heldens, Nora En Pure was obvious and he met his match! Serious with his craft, Gil is a legitimately trained musician (no he doesn’t just press buttons) having studied a spectrum of music theory, business and production at the New York University- Clive Davis School of Recorded Music, giving him a well-endowed lead in the industry. Signing music across Sirup Music, Enormous Chills, No Definition and more, Gil’s drive for dance-floor ready monsters is evident. Gaining global support from Tiesto, Don Diablo, Sam Feldt and a plethora of other boss icons in electronic music, there is no lying about the 300k+ Spotify streams and Beatport top 100 records, lining five up under his belt including ‘Can’t Let You Go’ via Dirty Soul, where Bakermat and MK also hold high regard.

At the clubs, on the stage, the dance floors, the pool parties and more, Gil isn’t shy of a an enviable show. From sold out headlining shows to residencies across the US, it has lead him to global tours around the world including Australia, Europe, Asia and main slots at Exit Festival Serbia for 60,000+ people. On the back of this, the World Club Dome Festival in Frankfurt lit up while the hottest summer parties in Ibiza and the Greek Islands (Mykonos) alongside David Guetta and Tiesto and he even had the opportunity to play back to back with Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Marshmello and Kygo have been standouts.

Holding high regard in electronic music and a resume of milestones, the only other thing you need to know right now is Gil Glaze has two upcoming tracks set to be his best work yet and a blazing summer ahead, so stay tuned. [Bio taken from his about facebook page]

Dimitris: Can you mention your biggest music career achievements in 2018?

Gil Glaze: Getting to release on Armada has been a big goal of mine since I was young and this year I’ve had two tracks signed there.

Dimitris: Can you rate 2018 for you as a year with 1 being very bad until 10 that is perfect year!

Gil Glaze: 6 quite good year, It’s been an interesting year. Wouldn’t say it’s been the best year for me since I took the time to discover myself musically and focus more on studio ... have 20 tracks ready. I also took the time to create a closer relationship with my residency’s and think about the people who work with me on my team. Now that it’s the end of the year I feel ready for 2019 and realize 2018 was my preparation year.

1) Best 3 Tracks from other artists in 2018, please give us a short comment for each track:

Gil Glaze: Lanna - Maybe
Love this track as to me it’s the definition of melodic house and the vocals and lyrics are special in this one.

Martin Garrix - Dreamer
The new track from him with Mike Yung is so unique and different from Martins usual sounds!

EDX - Anthem
Always a big fan of his productions but to me I find this one is so good to play in the clubs and really goes beyond the blend of deep house and trance elements.

2) Your 3 Best of 2018 personal productions, give us more background info about them:

Gil Glaze - Lost Kings feat. Tove Styrke- Stuck (Gil Glaze Remix)
Got the chance to remix this as Lost Kings are signed to same management as Chainsmokers who I did a remix for last year.

Deepend feat.Janieck - To Rome (Gil Glaze x Lanna Remix)
Teamed up with my buddy Lanna for this one.

Gil Glaze x Barkley - Want From U
Loved the unique sounds of Barkley’s tracks and since we are on the same label it only made sense to collab!

3) Best Artist in 2018(DJ & producer) please explain why you pick him/her up:

Gil Glaze: Lanna - 2018 was her year and she only really came into the scene last year. She releases track after track and is always consistent in her productions. I’ve listened to some of her unreleased tracks and can tell you 2019 will be her year!

4) Best Remix in 2018, please explain why you liked it so much:

Gil Glaze: David Guetta feat. Ann Marie - Don’t Leave Me Alone (EDX Remix)

5) Best Remix that you have produced in 2018, please tell us why you believe is your best work?

Gil Glaze: Lost Kings feat. Tove Styrke- Stuck (Gil Glaze Remix)  Got the chance to remix this as Lost Kings are signed to same management as Chainsmokers who I did a remix for last year.

6) Best Remixer for 2018, please tell us why you choose him/her:

Gil Glaze: Hugel. He’s blown up this year and his remixes and tracks always have a great reaction in the clubs. I played with him in Zurich some months back and he is also a really nice person!

7) Best New Talent in 2018 (DJ or producer), please explain the reasons why you choose him/her :

Gil Glaze: Mochi Gang - they haven’t had so many tracks but I like that they are focusing on radio tracks and is very chill to listen to.

8) Best electronic music album in 2018? Please explain your decision why you think is the best album?(b) Do you believe that albums are still relevant or you prefer singles:

Gil Glaze: Jonas Blue - Blue
Think this is a great album as it defines who Jonas Blue is and it has some amazing collaborations on it. Think Jonas Blue is very underrated and 2019 could be his year!
(b) I believe albums for electronic acts are a bit over but the cool thing about this album is it brings together all his past singles.

9) Best electronic music compilation in 2018, please explain what exactly you liked about this compilation(the elements you appreciate):

Gil Glaze:  For me all of Sirup's compilations are very good this year because they don’t focus on just adding in new music but dig deep into some of their old catalogues.

10) Best artwork/cover for a single/ album or compilation released in 2018, please justify your opinion why this and not another one:

Gil Glaze: Jonas Blue - Blue. Like the effect they have on it and how it looks like he’s flying when really it must be a photo of him standing yet they rotated his image.

11) Best lyrics in an electronic music track in 2018 (it can be your production or from other artists) Please explain why you like these lyrics so much!

Gil Glaze: Chainsmokers - Sick Boy ..... love the lyrics in this one since it relates to a lot of people and especially is a personal one to the Chainsmokers since it discusses and east side and west side differences in America. It’s got this Emo vibe to it so it’s one of those tracks you either love or hate! I heard this track before it was released while one tour with them and loved it!

12) Best vocalist/singer featured on electronic music track in 2018, please tell why you appreciate this singer/vocalist and why:

Gil Glaze: Dua Lipa / I think it’s cool she’s collaborated with so many DJ's this year. It’s not necessary because she’s already so big but her vocals fit so well to electronic music!

13) Best electronic music label for 2018, please justify why you choose this label and what was so special in 2018 about it:

Gil Glaze: Spinnin Records! Love that they make music for everyone and are not stuck to one genre. It’s been the biggest dream of mine to release there!

14) Best electronic music video for 2018, please explain why you like this video so much:

Gil Glaze: DJ Snake - Taki Taki / love the work from Colin Tiley and the production of this video is insane. Lots of small elements like the shoes he wears or the Range Rover where you see that they involve brand deals.

15) Best online social media for 2018 and why you believe is the best particularly in 2018?:

Gil Glaze: Instagram - think they beat everyone in the game with something so simple - photos and videos!

16) Best Twitter/Facebook/Instagram message you may have received about your music or your DJ performance in 2018:

Gil Glaze: There’s no particular message but all the ones about me inspiring young producers and DJs makes me so happy and motivated to work harder! I do occasionally get messages saying my music helps them get through hard times etc.. which is still today a surprise for me!

17) Best music composition software in 2018, please explain why you appreciate it so much:

Gil Glaze: Ableton. Love the basic interface they have and easy to use! I wouldn’t say best for 2018 but best since years!

18) Best Club event or Festival that you have performed there or you would love one day to perform there, please explain the reasons that influenced your choice of the event & festival:

Gil Glaze: Ultra South Africa! Was one of the best festivals I’ve played as it’s probably every DJs dream to play at an Ultra Festival and to be able to play in the home country of my family was special!

19) Your Best personal DJ Gig for 2018 (if you are active as DJ) and why you believe is the finest:

Gil Glaze: Story Miami. Was an amazing gig as I had all my friends there and I was opening for Oliver Heldens so the club was packed and the energy was insane from the crowd !

20) Best DJ set from other fellow DJ in 2018 and why you believe his/her set was so fantastic?:

Gil Glaze: Black Coffee at Hi Ibiza this summer was something I’ve never seen before and can say it was absolutely crazy! The connection he has with his fans is special and the vibe was amazing!

21) Best radio show/podcast or Vlog(video blog) in 2018, please explain why you think this is the best radio show or vlog?:

Gil Glaze: Nora En Pure Purified shows are my favorite to just put on while driving home or when I’m chilling in my living room. Nice to hear her chill out sounds!

Dimitris: Do you have a radio show or vlog? Have you produced any YouTube tutorials for fellow artists to learn from you? If yes please tell us here the details and choose the best episode from your radio show/vlog/YouTube tutorial for 2018.

Gil Glaze: Yes I have a monthly radio show on Swiss radio Planet 105 where this year I’ve tried to add in a lot of exclusive content like unreleased tracks!

22) Best Radio station in 2018, please explain why this radio station is your favourite:

Gil Glaze: Hands down Sirius XM as they are taking over the game and are already one of the biggest stations or even biggest station world wide!

23) Best music related website that you visit frequently, please explain what you exactly appreciate in this web site and you may recommended to your fans as well:

Gil Glaze: Dancing Astronaut or Billboard is very good to stay updated with the music scene.

24) Best new sound or sample that has been introduced in any electronic music track in 2018 and you wish to have invented it or you may even have introduced it for the first time?

Gil Glaze: Would have to say two of my own tracks where we use a classic sample! Hopefully can clear it and release in 2019!

25) Best technical tips that you learnt in 2018 in relation to your DJing or music productions:

Gil Glaze: Don’t use the master tempo button as it ruins the quality of your tracks on CDJs.

26) Best piece of advice you got in relation to your career in 2018 and has helped you to progress even further:

Gil Glaze: Don’t let anyone tell you what to do. That was my biggest mistake in 2018 that made me loose my creativity. I felt that my career was being taken over by others and to be honest lost the motivation. Now during the past months I feel ready for 2019 and have gained my confidence and creativity back where I have already had two huge achievements this month!

Dimitris: Can you mention briefly your plans for your future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, DJ gigs for 2019!

Gil Glaze: Currently working on a collaboration with Mastrovita and Redondo on some tracks! No album for now. Signed two new tracks for beginning of next year and one which is my personal favorite.

Dimitris: Finally, what is your biggest wish for 2019 and give us your wishes for our readers?

Gil Glaze: My biggest wish is to sign a major label deal and have a track on one of my dream labels!

Thanks to Gil for his awesome detailed answers, Thanks to Sirup Music team for organising this interview.

Things have been going quite well for Stereoclip as of late. Fresh from signing exclusively with Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music and dropping first album single ‘Feel The Game’, the Belgian talent has embarked on an exciting new journey today as he dropped his second artist album, ‘Travel’.

Heralded by the entrancing soundscapes of ‘Day One’ and the aforementioned ‘Feel The Game’, ‘Travel’ sees the Brussels-based artist to open his mind to new musical developments and borderless genres, to improve and mature. Harboring twelve inspiring songs that take fans to places they never even knew existed, the album marks a wonderful body of work poised to exceed any and all expectations.
Stereoclip: “’Travel’ is very important to me as it shows how my sound and influences have evolved over the years, what it took to succeed and what I missed. It’s an exploration in sounds, synthesizers, recording and studio mixing, the first steps in my new artistic landscape. For me, it's an eclectic electronic album; you can encounter hip-hop, pop, acoustic, techno, house, trance and ‘80s sounds. I have tried to convey what I like in music and turn my hand to it. The album represents interrogations, discovery, improvement and the pleasure to discover a new world after my debut album ‘Hometown’, which I made back when I still created music on instinct alone. I’m sure the ride has only just started and it's never going to be finished, simply because music is an unlimited world.”

Through his own brand of deep, vocal-oriented and mysterious techno music, Stereoclip has been making big waves in the dance music scene. With the success of his 2016 album ‘Hometown’ as the first crown to his hard work (and the releases of ‘Travel’ as his second), the Belgian has been pulling out all the stops both in the studio and on the live front to further his career and to please the thousands of fans that have been hooked since they first learned of his masterstroke productions or peerless live performances.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] If you search for good house record just keep in your mind the name Low Steppa. The track Heard It All Before is absolutely out of this world. The original mix is a modern deep futuristic house with the superb UK house flavour and even disco influences to make it even more irresistable. The vocal is brilliant and I'm sure that many ladies on the dancefloor will sing a long and identify with the nice story. The Boiling Point remix is darker deeper more underground minded with metallic basslines, thumping raw grooves, cool organ riffs with jazz flavour and the excellent vocal as the right icing on that delicious cake for ears and dancefloors to feel the sweetness! Yummy indeed with high class standards! #PureGold Love iT[/content]

This might surprise you, but when The Bearded Man came into being many eons ago, there was no concept of money. A child of the gods, The Bearded Man came to be in an era in which none of our modern trappings existed. In a sense, life was a lot easier. But the trouble was: how can you be a baller when you're not getting paid!? For hundreds of years, The Bearded Man dreamed of gold chains on his chest hair, of Lamborghinis, Cristal and all that. But it didn't exist. He'd wake up every morning, look in the mirror and say "Great, another day I'm not getting paid. Nice." It just didn't fit with his love of the swagged-out hip-hop lifestyle. So finally, he invented money, fractional reserve banking, and the entire system that we now take for granted. Is the world a better place now? Certainly it is not. But one thing is for sure: The Bearded Man can now whistle all the way to the bank.

Though it would take us a four-decade time travel to the past to fully experience the off-the-charts impact of Disco legend George McCrae’s global breakthrough record (‘Rock Your Baby’), that doesn’t mean he’s done impressing the world with his golden voice. On Sander Kleinenberg’s brand-new single, ‘Colours In The Sun’, George McCrae’s soulful vocals are juggled with the Dutch DJ and producer’s sublime rhythms, ensuring a marvelous Armada Deep release no dance music lover can get enough of.

From the well-crafted arrangement to the subtle melodies and George McCrae’s deep, charming vocals, ‘Colours In The Sun’ is a top-notch production on all fronts and 100% playlist material. Laced even further with uplifting beats and a firm bassline, this cut also stakes its claim as a peak-time dance floor smash.
Sander Kleinenberg: “Working with George has been an absolute pleasure, it is not every day you are able to work with a legend of his magnitude. Revamping his voice and making him relevant for a 2018 dance floor has been one of the highlights of my career so far.”
Sander Kleinenberg has been among the scene’s trailblazers for over twenty years. The award-winning DJ and producer is known for remixing the likes of Halsey, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk, Madonna and Janet Jackson and continues to infect the masses with his high-end originals and all-around top-quality music on a regular basis. ‘Colours In The Sun’ is a sterling example of just that.

George McCrae, who recently made an appearance in Jools Holland’s 25th annual Hootenanny on BBC Two , scored a global smash hit in 1974 with ‘Rock Your Baby’, which sold over 11 million copies around the world as topped the charts in a host of countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Touted as one of the first-ever Disco hits, the song earned the American artist a Grammy for ‘Best Male R&B Vocalist’ in 1975 and marked the start of a remarkably successful career that’s been bearing fruit to this very day.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]When two legends from different eras collide in a recording studio you are pretty sure that something truly tasty and memorable will come out. The fantastic Mr Kleinenberg works with the Mr Disco man aka George McCrae for beautiful relaxing beats combined with future house influences and balearic touches as well. The track smells sea salt and it feels warming like the early morning first sunrays that you feel in your skin while you dance on the final DJ set. It has definitely colors and optimistic attitude with very cool vocals that you can sense that carry a lot of history and experience. Groovy, melodic, spacious and sparkling or in other words #PureGold Love IT  [/content]
