George McCrae, who recently made an appearance in Jools Holland’s 25th annual Hootenanny on BBC Two , scored a global smash hit in 1974 with ‘Rock Your Baby’, which sold over 11 million copies around the world as topped the charts in a host of countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Touted as one of the first-ever Disco hits, the song earned the American artist a Grammy for ‘Best Male R&B Vocalist’ in 1975 and marked the start of a remarkably successful career that’s been bearing fruit to this very day.

When two legends from different eras collide in a recording studio you are pretty sure that something truly tasty and memorable will come out. The fantastic Mr Kleinenberg works with the Mr Disco man aka George McCrae for beautiful relaxing beats combined with future house influences and balearic touches as well. The track smells sea salt and it feels warming like the early morning first sunrays that you feel in your skin while you dance on the final DJ set. It has definitely colors and optimistic attitude with very cool vocals that you can sense that carry a lot of history and experience.
