The debut album by Haris C has some amazing tracks and '11:11' is one selected for a single release. Haris C & Alexis Mixail display their talent with this Trance beauty. A slow number with luscious vocals, warm bass and energy added to with the pluck leads.

For this pack Haris has done a monster of a Tech mix and it's banging. Grit and power, chopped vocals and saw stabs galore yet still displaying the eerie uplifting vibes of the original with it's divine breakdown. The drop is something that will smash the door off the club time and again.

We have a special remix for this track coming from none other than Steve Allen. An uplifting master piece packed to the rafters with rolling energy, warmth and euphoria. The lead sounds huge with Steve's touch and this is peak time Trance at it's very best.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Haris C & Alexis Mixail collaboration 11:11 has already received wonderful reviews and positive words from the social media trance community. While the original is anthemic trance with heavenly female voices and epic synths that raise the hair from your back, the brand new remixes raise the bar even higher/ Firstly Haris C himself service a very powerful dominating extra hard tech trance rework with that Outburst / Mark Sherry sound in it. Tribal techy drums, relentless pulsating dark bass and long breakdown with heavenly sounds and massive synthy plucks leading us to the tech trance climax to charge your body batteries to the maximum. Steve Allen on the other hand adds his well known dark metallic basslines, pounding drums and sharp kicks along with the original melodies in order to create an uplifting masterpiece that awake your body and recharge your senses. Music is all about emotional overload and this great package will send you to outerspace and beyond. #PureGold Love iT[/content]

Your Name:
Duncan Newell

Your location(country,city)
England

Dimitri: Can you mention your 3 biggest achievements in your music career in 2016?
Duncan: Well, what a year. Personal mile stone for me was buying in to Alter Ego Records and taking over Tangled Audio which is the top of the list. 2nd would be multiple support from Paul Oakenfold amongst other top support and 3rd would be mixing my first digital compilation album for Tangled Audio.

Overall 2016 was a positive, neutral or maybe negative year for you and why?
Duncan: Pretty positive I'd say and this follows on from your first question..

15) Best music composition software:

Alter Ego Progressive welcomes back American based producer Steven Martine with his debut solo release The Fault In Our Stars for release 200. A charismatic and intelligent production by the American who provides a unique slice of progressive trance for all dance floors!

The original is a rich, feel good piece packed with warm sounds and melodies. Floating textures and great atmospherics throughout make this a stand up track from the rising American youngster, which is sure to hit all the notes. We are very excited to see what this American wonder has in store for us this this year and welcome him back after a long break from music.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego Progressive brings the right kind of melodic noise with the exceptional trance anthem The Fault In Our Stars by the upcoming artist Martire. Energetic prime time big room warm progressive trancer that combines electro infused driving basslines with thumping drums and sharp deadly kicks. The breakdown is well designed to create in your mind thousands of mental images with variety of synthy plucks, emotional piano chords, heavenly voices and magical strings followed by powerful build up that keeps you at the edge of your breath followed by banging booming proglifting climax that brings together the punchy foundation with anthemic synths and even siren like effects to build tension and expand anticipation for the ultimate high that will raise the roof of any club or festival. 10/10 #PureGold Love It

Bardalimov makes his second appearance on the main label with Ion! Bringing in release 213, The Ukrainian provides another great energy fueled trancer, which is extremely well written and provides everything needed to levitate dance floors into a serious frenzy! On remix duties we have Maglev to give his take on Ion.

Ion has a huge catchy top line, floor shattering undertones and a wonderfully crafted emotive breakdown! It is a track that just keeps on evolving with little time to catch your breath! Enjoy the ride!

Maglev gives his own chunky twist with his signature sound on the remix duties for Ion.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego records is back with a vengeance and an excellent proglifting trancer by the upcoming Bardalimov with his top track Ion. The original mix is a powerful big room mainstage trancer that will rock your world with thumping basslines, pounding flexible techy drums and superb emotional euphoric synthy leads that drive the track to its soulful emotional breakdown packed with optimistic positive synthy riffs that touch your heart and energise you like the summer sun rays. The climax is unreal so better keep your ears open and start to jump with joy. Maglev remix is sweeter more melodic proglifting trancer with electro infused playful basslines, chunky drums and excellent melodic segments with piano themes not to be missed working perfectly to add a much more euphoric emotional touch to the anthemic original. Ion is neo future trance at its best. 10/10 #PureGold Love It

With a deep bassline that will rock any dancefloor, industrial acids and sublime atmosphere provided by the plucks and pads, this track is a beautiful concoction of mystical euphoria and energy that will be sure to do the damage in clubs around the world time and again.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Tangled Audio is back on track with another excellent release for the quality uplifting trance lovers. Energetic driving basslines and melodies to die for are waiting for you when you press play on Orion produced by 7Wonders. Superb arrangement that goes straight to the point with clear intention to uplift your spirit and make your mind escape for a while and unlock your imagination to start making its own visions while you are carried away by the intense energetic basslines, the pounding slamming drums and the euphoric feel good synthy riffs that will please your ears without doubts. Miroslav Vrlik makes his debut on Alter Ego Recordings and starts off 2016 with a bang. 'So Slowly' is a great introduction for this young Slovakian.

The original mix of 'So Slowly' is an energetic driving affair with an abundance of dreamy sounds and lavish melodies, coupled with a very memorable vocal stab and a truly divine breakdown. Hands in the air stuff from Miroslav, and one of those peak time trancers that's going to be in your record box for a long time.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego records starts 2016 with an excellent uplifting production from the unstoppable Miroslav Vrlik who seems that he has the midas touch at the moment to produce the right uplifting trance sound that is well crafted with original melodies and great heavenly vocals bringing back that classic uplifting trance sound of the early 2000.  So Slowly is straight to the point uplifting trance banger with bouncy drums, pulsating driving basslines and superb variety of magical synths while in the breakdown he unleashes the sunkissed melody along with the beautiful exotic vocals that add that need to escape for a while and fly to another magical galaxy! So Slowly builds the tension beautifully leading to the perfect  flowing and trancing climax so better let the colorful positivity embrace your inner being and find  your own trance kingdom that anything can happen. #PureGold 10/10 Love It

With a blend of warm driving beats, glittering melodic displays, heartfelt themes, playful vocal work and rich undertones throughout both tracks! Skyfort breaks down in to a stunning piano melody with a vocal chop to die for. Changes closely follows suit with a lovely bouncy melody.

Outstanding EP from Andy and a great start to 2016 on Alter Ego Progressive.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego Progressive kickstarts 2016 with a big bang indeed. The brand new EP by Andy White is a classy proglifting trance affair not to be missed. Andy White on Skyfort take us on board for a skydiving experience. Sweet warm melodic progressive trancer perfect to start building up your trance set. The kind of melodic smooth piano driven trance that welcomes clubbers on the dancefloor. Magical synths and floating arrangement ensures total satisfaction. On the same high level is Changes. Pure blissful warm progressive trance with bubbly basslines, chunky techy grooves, electro influences and magnificent delicate romantic piano in the breakdown followed by the more euphoric climax with synthy stabs and vocal snippets. Dimitri Kechagias review: Tangled Audio is the brainchild of dj Tangle and one of the latest sublabels at Alter Ego records. The wealth of releases that cover every single subgenre of uplifting trance from tech trance to hard trance and psy tech trance Tangled Audio caters for all of them by selecting the finest tracks from established and upcoming names. When you choose to play in your dj set Tangled Audio tracks you are pretty sure that are tried and tested on the dancefloor and they will bring the needed impact and uncontrolled excitement for the crowd. Unforgettable melodies, sharp synths, heavy hard hitting aggressive driving basslines and thunderous drums are some of the elements that you will spot in every single Tangled Audio release. If you fancy big dramatic blockbuster style epic breakdown or if you like the harder the better razor sharp drop this label has it all for you so I recommend if you are not following this label already to get this compilation and find out the great goodies included for you. #PureGold Love it

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most consistent labels through the years is the beloved Alter Ego Records with Alter Ego Progressive and Inov8. The label continues to explore the various shades of what we call trance with great originals and remixes ranging from deep haunting to chunky prog and straight forward feel good uplifting trance sound. Alter Ego labels are great platform to bring innovative new breed of artists who will get noticed and supported by the most influential trance djs. Every release on very high standards by distancing themselves from mediocre blunt and boring formulaic trance sounds that we get from various labels. Alter Ego labels are great gatekeepers of what trance should be like and this Best OF 2014 compilation brings together some of the most successful singles of the label that is recognised and respected for its unique forward thinking music policy. Must have for any trance fanatic! #PureGold Love It
