Spanning 35 tracks across two mixes, 'Anjunabeats Volume 17' is the latest edition in the series’ two-decade history. Curated between Above & Beyond’s London studio and their global touring schedule, the compilation captures the evolving sound of Anjunabeats - spotlighting both long-standing collaborators and a new generation of artists shaping the label’s future.
Since its debut in 2003, the Anjunabeats Volume series has played a defining role in electronic music, introducing emerging talent and setting the tone for the label’s globally recognized blend of trance, progressive, and melodic club music. With Volume 17, Above & Beyond continue that tradition, delivering a forward-looking snapshot of where the sound is headed next.

The compilation is split across two distinct mixes:
Disc One explores a deeper, progressive palette - from tribal grooves to ’90s trance nostalgia.
Disc Two captures the high-energy Anjunabeats sound built for festival moments around the world.
Leading the release is “When I Look In Your Eyes”, a new collaboration with longtime partner Justine Suissa, which premiered to 15,000 fans at Group Therapy 600 in Mexico City and quickly became one of the most in-demand IDs of the band’s recent world tour.
For the first time in the series’ history, 'Anjunabeats Volume 17' will also be available on vinyl, featuring a 12 track sampler handpicked by Above & Beyond.

On its 2017 debut, ‘Blueprint’ marked a changeup in how an electronic artist album could be approached. It moved from a singles-driven model, toward a unified, long-form work, built around musical transitions and narrative flow. In doing so, it retuned expectations of what the modern electronic album could be.
And now, nine cycles later, ‘Blueprint’ is ready to reenter the electronic music space … as ‘Blueprint Reprinted’.
Alongside Ferry himself, the Dutch pioneer has handpicked five contemporaries and six ‘Blueprint’ tracks for the ’Reprinted’ cadre to revisit.
Ferry opens the EP’s running order, bringing back what was, once upon a time the slow-mo drumatics of ‘Reanimate’. This time out though, courtesy of the V8 thrust of its production, refined synth lines, elevated tempo and singer Clairity’s cascading vocals, it’s been recalibrated for primetime play.
Next to the plate is Giuseppe Ottaviani’s Reprint, and if you’re expecting anything less than floor-thirsty from something titled ‘Drum Is The Weapon, best think again! His razor-sharp sequencing strips the track back to its functional core, before his relentless percussion locks-in the momentum, rebuilding it into a clubfloor firebrand.
That perfectly stacks the base for Turin’s Frankyeffe, who takes ‘Trust’ (once one of ‘Blueprint’s overture pieces) and upticks it into an end-of-the-night pressure cut. What was once cinematic and expansive is now refocused into a darker, more kinetic workout, where heavy low-end propulsion meets tightly wound tension.
At its halfway point, ’Reprinted’s scales tip onto more progressive terrain. In its original form, Ferry and HALIENE’s ‘Wherever You Are’ weighed heartbreak and hope in equal measure. Here, through filmic textures, Helsløwed restructures it, using tempered builds and bass palpitations, that deliver drops deep enough to dive into.
Matt Fax also places a stronger progressive emphasis on proceedings, this time though on the album’s title track. Now ‘Blueprint’ chugs and throbs with purpose, its core sonic motifs stretched across rolling lower-end grooves and reverb-heavy FX, which trade immediacy for an ether-soaked runtime.
Tying ’Reprinted’ off is Genix, who uses the march of housified drums to prime his take on ‘Eternity’. In no time at all though, his sub-melodies begin casting long atmospheric shadows across its production, before the track blooms to its hypnotically intense close.

These three albums represent a very special time for us personally and creatively. We didn’t know that we were making a Trilogy when we sat down to work on “Something, Everything”, but by the time we finished “Endless, Dawn” we felt very strongly that these albums were three chapters of one story. Creatively, the timeline of when we made these songs overlapped an enormous amount, and so it felt right to put them together as one. We made so much music that we didn’t have room for so many songs. The eight new songs were written during this time and are some of our favorites that we’ve made. We’re so happy that they finally found a place and will be out in the world. Thank you for being on this journey with us and making this music a part of your life. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we’ve loved making it.

Approaching its 20th year, Anjunadeep has become "one of dance music's ultimate tastemaker labels" (Billboard). Known for breaking global artists like Ben Böhmer, Lane 8, Tinlicker and Dusky, the label has a reputation as "an A&R hotbed" (Resident Advisor).
Now, the label launches its new imprint titled 'Anjunadeep Explorations' this July. Marking a significant milestone in electronic music history, renowned techno maverick Dave Clarke unveils the digital release of his seminal ‘Red’ series and ‘Archive One’ album for the first time. The digital re-release is accompanied by a unique box set edition commemorating the 30th anniversary of this landmark release. This limited-edition set includes remastered tracks, coloured vinyl singles of the ‘Red’ series, a 16-page booklet with rare photos and sleeve notes, and exclusive remixes from industry icons such as The Chemical Brothers, DJ Sneak, Aux 88 and Umek.
In the late 80s, Dave recorded with XL Recordings and R&S amongst others and then in 1992, he launched his own music label, "Magnetic North", releasing recordings under the moniker ‘Fly By Wire’, ‘Directional Force' etc. He then produced a series of EPs from 1994 under the name ‘Red’, which were listed by DJ Mag in its "All Time Techno Top 100" list. Clarke released ‘Archive One’ as his debut album in 1996. The album's raw, spellbinding beats captured the essence of the '90s rave scene defining the genres; techno, electro and breakbeat that continue to resonate powerfully to this day.
Fast forward to 2023, 30 years after the inception of this body of work, and after both the album and series being unavailable at retail for over twenty years on vinyl (copies have been exchanging on Discogs in the meantime for up to £250), remastered original versions and bonus remixes are being released in a limited edition, one-time pressing, exclusive 6 vinyl set slipcase box with signed photo and a 16-page booklet written by Dave Clarke himself. These were ground-breaking works that helped put Dave Clarke and British techno on the global map and so, the digital release of this iconic music not only celebrates Dave Clarke’s influence but also underscores his unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of production; a culmination of authenticity, perseverance, and the enduring power of music.
Hailed as ‘The Baron Of Techno’ by the late John Peel, musician, photographer, journalist, artist and a man with a singular electronic vision, Dave Clarke has great instincts – and those singular instincts have kept him on the correct musical path for over three decades straight. Having made music of his own since 1990 – along the way he has remixed everyone from Fontaines DC, A Place To Bury Strangers, Depeche Mode, The Chemical Brothers, Placebo, Underworld, Leftfield, Fischerspooner, Gazelle Twin, Moby, New Order and Super Furry Animals.
Both ‘Archive One’ and the ‘Red’ series are acclaimed as THE defining techno albums and 12 inches of the genre. They paved the way for all that followed and are used as a blueprint for quality, style and music production levels, and are just as relevant now as they were when originally released. By disposing of the status quo virtues that music must be polished and prepared, Dave Clarke is an underground-championing artist with principles that can’t be bought or sold.
The journey to reclaim the rights to ‘Archive One’ and the ‘Red Series’ began in 2016 and stands as a rare success story in label rights. Clarke, alongside a close-knit and dedicated team, persevered through nearly a decade of legalities, fuelled by the unwavering belief in the music’s enduring legacy. The reissue of ‘Archive One’; and ‘Red Series’ not only celebrates but also underscores the importance of finding the right label, emphasising the positive relationship between artist and label. Clarke's 20 year partnership with Skint Records exemplifies how mutual trust and collaboration can yield remarkable results, allowing artists to share their music with a global audience.
