1. The Fire Inside (Original Mix)
2. We Are The Future (Original Mix)

Some people are born with a fire deep inside them, burning towards an unrelenting goal.

These producers -- like Chris Schweizer -- are certainly the future, and their music speaks for itself.

A double dose of raw power, this EP is a knockout punch.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The always on the right spot record label Captivating Sounds which includes in its back catalogue some of the biggest trance classics presents the return of the very hot Latin producer Chris Schweizer with his double bangers The Fire Inside & We Are Future. Two magnificent tracks that will satisfy those who adore the  mainstage trance sound that is harder, edgy, very sharp and to the point. First of all comes the brilliant The Fire Inside and once again the title describes well the burning content of the track. Tough bouncy aggressive kicks, rough and in your face electro inspired basslines and cool melodic content that travel your mind while you jump along with it. The breakdown is truly explosive as it starts cinematic and inspiring and suddenly out of nowhere comes the massive rave style distorted synthy lead that will raise the hair from your hairy parts of your body. Powerful drop is coming next to elevate the track right at the top of its kind of modern future neo-trancers. We Are Future continues on the same wild and dangerous pathway of uncompromising neo track with throbbing basslines, fat large drum beats and heavy kick to do the business. The very short breakdown reveals the main synthy riff that is epic to the maximum and will eliminate sadness to the minimum. The drop is so driving and dynamic that sounds like a huge Pegasus that is flying away and you either take the challenge to follow him or you miss the sonic experience of your life time. The main breakdown is longer and atmospheric and allows the various synthy plucks to repeat to the main melody until to memorise it and then the drop is coming and the mayhem is complete! #PureGold Love iT

1. Aerys (Original Mix)

Sometimes you need to know when to say “enough is enough”.

Heatbeat apparently never learned this valuable skill, as their productions routinely go right up to the edge, then cross it without ever looking back.

‘Aerys’ is a real mind job, cranking up and glitching sounds in ways that will put the listener’s brain in a blender.  The result is something that only the Argentinian duo could have ever come up with.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  The very talented duo from Argentina that never rests strikes back with the brand new release on Captivating Sounds / Armada Music that is eagerly awaited from their global fanbase. Heatbeat who have fantastic reputation in the scene unleash their fire dragon size anthem  Aerys which already is considered to be one of the future Ibiza Anthem for 2014. The mighty duo are so able to combine elements and influences from other styles and create their own personal "Heatbeat" style. Aerys is an absolutely mind boggling production with rough and meaty pulsating drum beats that bang super hard and make you feel like jumping on a trampoline and aggressive electro influenced playful basslines that spank you hard. The first breakdown reveals the emotional piano melody and the classical music theme followed by huge euphoric synthy stabs that will excite any listener for sure. What is really cool is that they continue with another very strong synthy theme that is more airy and floating. The drop is rough and aggressive with irresistible rhythm that ignite any dancefloor to obey. The 2nd very cool breakdown allows the various synthy plucks to come at the surface once again with main difference that now they continue with a nice uplifting hands in the air sequence that is of course the big crescendo moment and the time that you can throw those fireworks in the sky and celebrate the greatest gift on earth that is Life! Heatbeat never fail to satisfy their followers and always remain faithful to their roots of uncompromising music. Maybe is their Latin temperament the reason! #PureGold Love iT

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's always big pleasure to see new talents that deserve big exposure and support to get this wholeheartedly from their peers. David Gravell is one of the big new Dutch powerforces  in EDM with ability to produce stunning mainstage big room trance tracks  and he has the big support from the Best Global Dance Label for many years according to IDMA that is Armada Music. He is not only extremely gifted as dj behind the decks but he has the talent to translate what the crowd demands on the dancefloor into his big room trance smashers. Melbourne sounds super large as the cosmopolitan Australian city that we feel obliged to visit after listening this amazing tune. 1. The Saga (Original Mix)

There’s nothing like a cinematic overture to inspire the feelings of marching into battle, or just dancing like crazy when an absolute beast of a trance drop comes.

‘The Saga’ is appropriately titled and extremely epic, try not to lose it when these guys drop the beat.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Captivating Sounds is one of the longest running trance records labels in Armada Music family and never lost its hardcore thats for sure. The top label brings to the masses another massive epic trance anthem produced by the hands of North American star Chris Schweizer and the Dutch dj & producer Mark Sixma who has in his CV many successful singles including the top Requiem on Mainstage  Music.  When these two very talented producers meet in the studio you can expect miracles that actually can happen and enjoy it with your own ears and  feet on the dancefloor right now. The Saga is a tough big room progressive trancer that starts with chunky beats, playful basslines and on top soon is added the very cool synthy melody with the great chord progression.  It is impossible to stand still and not feel the urge to become part of the action and to do not be left behind. The breakdown is really cinematic and epic perfectly in tune with Hollywood's latest craze with Epic Fantasy films. Exceptional melodramatic strings and classical orchestral music theme that travel your spirit to another spooky dimension.  The revelation of the huge synthy leads will blow the speakers and cause club quakes worldwide so better hold on tight and get ready to enjoy the amazing anthemic hands in the air climax. The final sequence is epic, anthemic, adrenaline charging and absolutely mouthwatering. Its one of those tracks that you wish to last for 10 hours and more. #PureGold Love IT

 1. Poseidon (Original Mix)

The year is 1999, and Armin just released ‘Communication’, changing the world forever.  It’s a feeling many want to return to, but no one can seem to get it just right.

Enter MaRLo.  The Australian super-producer takes all the energy and intensity from the ‘Golden Era’ of trance, and packs it into a shiny new package.

‘Poseidon’ is for the true fans.  It’s for the people who are used to completely losing themselves at a main stage, watching the greats of the great doing what they do best.  Is it any surprise, with tunes like this, that MaRLo is quickly becoming one of them?

Dimitri Kechagias review:  MaRLo is Back and this should be headline news to any trance site worldwide. The super powerforce Dutch dj & producer arrives with his mammoth size anthem Poseidon on the legendary and beloved Armada Music sublabel  Captivating Sounds. Poseidon is one of the twelve gods of Greek mythology and has connection with the sea and the oceans. MaRLo who is currently resides in Australia that is surrounded by water was natural to dedicate his track on the most appropriate of the gods. The track itself is a magnificent combination of big room trance elements with euphoric feel good ones. What is more his basslines are so aggressive along with his heavy kicks that sounds actually like a hardstyle influenced track. The breakdown reveals in all its glory the very epic melody that  actually recalls the mysterious times that the title refers too. His next sequence is super rough with in your face full on attitude. Its definitely not for the weak hearted. His 2nd breakdown brings that unforgettable euphoric melody back and his last sequence that can be named as climax is more floating and flowing with warm majestic synths and the heavy foundation of course. Sometimes an anthem is an anthem and nothing less! Be good boy and girl cause Poseidon can be really angry and his revenge will sound like this MaRLo slammer.  #PureGold Love iT

1. Chinese New Year (Original Mix)

Very few producers have the innate ability for melody – the ability to create the kind of uplifting ear worm that is both incredibly happy and yet never cheesy.

Finnish duo Maison & Dragen have carved out a space for their music precisely because of their talent for blending apparent simplicity with authentic bass.

One listen to ‘Chinese New Year’, and you’ll wish it could be New Year every single day.  If you’re the sort who doesn’t like to be humming a tune all day, then be advised that you can’t afford to listen to this.  One play is all it takes to be infected by this creation!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most anticipated releases on Captivating Sounds is the return of the beloved and super talented duo Maison & Dragen. These two boys have the knowledge to craft strictly club burners  that will have sure and immediate impact on any dj set you decide to play them. Personally for me and many others in the scene their name is like a seal of quality approval. Their first 2014 release is called Chinese New Year and you guessed it right from its title that is an epic progressive trance anthem perfect to play in big rooms and celebrate the coming of a very fruitful new year. Super solid banging beats, hard driving basslines and the most important element  the hi-nrg synthy riff that is super catchy and will be remembered for long. The breakdown unleashes the exotic piano chords  that have certainly orient flavours and will remind you the last time you cooked those nice noodles with mushrooms and vegetables and your loved one gave you the hottest French Kiss. Hands will stay in the air and those hair in your hands will stand still for long when the massive synths appear to cause mass destruction. When the beat strikes back  in the pure hands in the air uplifting climax you will observe the club going ballistic and will be hard for any human being to resist the impact of this powertrancer that will hit the clubs like storm. Maison & Dragen strike it lucky in the Chinese New Year.#PureGold Love IT

Causing quite a stir at the Armada Beach Festival in the home-town of its creators, ‘Felina’ is the next big-room bomb to be dropped. The boys of Heatbeat teamed up with Buenos Aires local Rodrigo Deem, with the mission to kill, wow and amaze. Mission completed.

Heatbeat just doesn’t do average. And neither does one half of 19Hz duo, Rodrigo Deem. Together, they’ve created a tune that’s bound to roam the dance floors long after its release on Captivating Sounds.’Felina’ is here to stay.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The mighty Heatbeat from Argentina are considered to be one of the hottest exports from their warm and sunny country. Their productions are difficult to categorise as they usually deliver progressive music that can be big room trance, electro prog house or even euphoric proglifting trance as is their collaboration with Rodrigo Deem. The highly talented duo along with Rodrigo deliver an anthem that any trance dj in the world will be obliged to play. Rough bouncy beats, a** kicking aggressive dirty basslines and surprising orchestral classical music theme in the breakdown. The huge euphoric symphonic synthy leads will raise the hair from your back and will raise excitement and adrenaline levels to the maximum. The climax is full on and in your face banging euphoric big room trancer that will blow speakers and will send you out of space for sure. Of course the question that will be in your mind for long is what Felina is and stands for. After this track Felina represents melodic euphoric trance that excite the clubbers and give them unforgettable therapeutic recreational moments on the dancefloor! Pure Class, Pure Excitement, #PureGold ! Love IT

Keeping a steady pace on his way up to success, Argentina’s Chris Schweizer will be a tough act to follow. With two refined and outstanding new productions, ‘The Secret’ and ‘Phoenix’, he makes sure he’s heard all across dance land.

After a slew of hotly anticipated releases on A State of Trance, heavily supported by Armin van Buuren and many other trance legends, Chris Schweizer continues to wow the crowds. While ‘Phoenix’ is built on his impeccable ways with melody, energy and giving it that rough edge, ‘The Secret’ keeps the focus on the refreshing side of trance. Quality.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved and for a decade now running imprint Captivating Sounds part of the Armada Music empire presents the superb brand new productions by Chris Schweizer called Phoenix & The Secret. The very talented Latin American dj & producer delivers the goods once again and satisfy our hunger for high quality productions that will put fire on any dancefloor worldwide. Phoenix is a powerful energetic big room trancer with electro tech and prog house influences.  Tough beats, rough and aggressive basslines, heavenly style vocals while on the breakdown he unleashes the fantastic hair raising distorted synthy lead that will go down like storm without doubts. When the beat returns the track goes off the hook for an unforgettable ride with a melody on top that will be remembered for long and change your mood straight way. Neo trancer to blow your mind and left you speechless. The Secret is a brilliant modern futuristic slice of euphoria that moves within the realms of big room trance with focus on the heavy threatening basslines, the pumping booming beats and the very strong colourful melodies. The groove is really strong and will carry you along with its very irresistible rhythm. Top melodic dreamy breakdown combined with euphoric uplifting synths energise your senses and prepare you dance. 1. Solarcoaster (Markus Schulz Remix)
2. Solarcoaster (Protoculture Remix)
3. Solarcoaster (Original Mix Remastered)

One of the biggest classics in trance music sees a brand new, re-mastered version, as well as remixes of Protoculture and Markus Schulz out on Captivating Sounds. In the 11 years since its release, Solarstone’s ‘Solarcoaster’ never left the dance floors.
And it won’t, for a very long time.

With South-Africa’s Protoculture adding a mystique, deep proggy touch to this legendary record, and Markus Schulz synthing this baby to peak-time, ‘Solarcoaster’ is ready for its next round of plays.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Armada Music in its rich backcatalogue includes some of the most important trance tracks of the last decade. One of them is the seminal Solarstone production Solarcoaster that still remains in our hearts with its easily recognisable and totally unforgettable stand out melody. Captivating Sounds part of Armada Music presents two exceptional new versions that the modern trance audiences will easily appreciate. First of all the pioneer and inventor of the dark haunting progressive sound Markus Schulz deliver his big room interpretation that bangs and shakes with rough and raw basslines, techy beats, side chain effects along with haunting strings. The breakdown is the hair raising moment you expect as after the well known spoken vocal sample the fantastic melody is revealed and comes to the very front to raise the hair from your back and drive you wild on the dancefloor. His climax is fat and spanking with the well known riff repeated upon the deep but highly energetic basslines. Markus Schulz never fails to impress me and once again he offers the superb remake that this classic deserves. The South African star Protoculture sounds the most wise to remix this anthem as well as I believe that his style is very close to the Solarstone's original and maybe his influenced from Solarstone as well. His rolling basslines, the pumping beats, the excellent percussion, the mouthwatering atmosphere and the whole sounddesign elevates the original into a modern powerful club trancer that will go down really well with its acid overtones and rich soundtextures. He even introduce brand new mesmerizing melodies to tottaly hypnotize the listener and nicely to lead us in his cinematic breakdown and meet again this superb synthy riff that will awake memories from the first trance parties that this mega anthem was played. Highly recommended. This Is What I Call Trance! Love iT

1.Strings & Guitars (Sied van Riel Remix)
2.Second Wave (Sied van Riel Remix)

Captivating Sounds brings a new flash of classic, emphasizing the remix expertize of Sied van Riel. The Dutchman handles the tunes of Arctic Quest and Signum, and brings us a 2013 update.

Dealing with remixes for the likes of Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Alex M.O.R.P.H., Sied van Riel has a fair share of experience remixing the big ones. Arctic Quest’s ’Strings & Guitars’ is up next. Giving it a techy edge of synth-energy and adding his very own touch, van Riel brings this 2007 track to a new level.

Same goes for his take on Signum’s ‘Second Wave’. The 2002 classic gets a boost of energy, walking the thin line of tech-trance and melodic uplifting.

We’re loving it!

Dimitri Kechagias review:  Sied van Riel is the trance dj & producer that you can trust for his incredible ability to create his own style and inject his own brilliant touch to anything he has to remix. The same applies on his remixes for two massive classics from Armada Music back catalogue that deserve to check them out in their own version cause still sound fresh and relevant to 2013 clubfloors. Firstly is Arctic Quest anthem Strings & Guitars that is pushed to its limits with harder tech trance edge to it perfect for big room and mainstage sets. The original emotional elements remain in the breakdown to recall memories to those who were dancing with it back in the year that was firstly released. Huge rave style synthy lead ensures that hands will remain high in the air for long. Tough, bouncy, demanding, dominating and emotional to its maximum, this is Sied van Riel style for sure. The top Signum classic Second Wave is reshaped, reshuffled and remodelled in the finest possible way in order to get the big crowd shouting and the boys and girls jumping around with wide smile in their faces. Feel good to maximum and energetic to the fullest will blow your mind and spice up your set with taurine for sure. Sied never disappoint us and this is 100% Realistic. Love IT

1. Immortal Love (Original Mix)

The boys of Maison & Dragen have always been an open-minded bunch. With a knack for the eclectic, they cook up a prog-trancer this time. ‘Immortal Love’ is the deep, dreamy affair with singer-songwriter Toni Nielson.

After going full throttle on big-room house, through the rocking tunes of ‘Colloseum’, ‘Wow’, ‘Rio de Janeiro’ and many more, the Finnish duo goes all-in on warm melodies, strong vocals and enrapturing bass-lines.

‘Immortal Love’ seduces, warms and shows a completely different side of the M&D sound!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved Finish duo Maison & Dragen take care to produce  the highest quality tracks in every style they decide to get involved with their safe hands. The latest track on the legendary and one of the very first sublabels of Armada Music, Captivating Sounds is the deep progressive trance beauty Immortal Love with the magnificent erotic voice of Toni Nielson. The track is a powerful driving deep and hypnotic progressive trancer that is absolutely mindblowing and has that Coldharbour recordings atmosphere. Pumping beats, deep pounding basslines and the absolute highlight is the memorable synthy melody that is not happy or optimistic but it is rather epic, dark, timeless and eternal. The climax is full on and hands in the air with the memorable melodic theme played again and again until to start whistling or humming it! Quality from the very start to the very end of this must have vocal jewel. Lets hope Maison & Dragen to have the opportunity to release their own album soon. Love IT

He’s left his mark on the Universal Religion Chapter 7 compilation, rocked the A State of Trance show and moved ten-thousands, if not millions of trance fans. Ralphie B’s trademark sound continues to spread, through the energetic ‘Ragnarok’.

An intricate balance of melody, synth and energy.

A tune that grabs you, holds you and doesn’t let go. That’s ‘Ragnarok’, the follow-up to ‘Seize The Day’, ‘Delphi’ and the mighty classic ‘Massive’.

We welcome it to the Captivating Sounds label, where it continues to rule.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Captivating sounds is one of the first labels of Armada Music that celebrates 10 glorious years of success and numerous club smashers under its heavy name. The brand new release is tried and tested on the best possible way as it is already included on the 7th chapter of the legendary and globally influential compilation Universal Religion. The beloved and so talented Ralphie B is back and he is better than ever. He presents his incredible trance anthem Ragnarok. The mysterious title stands for a magnificent trance track. In my opinion if you search for the definition of trance as music style you should check this track. The pure synthy melody, the energising pumping basslines, the powerful beats and the whole composition is pure trance class. What I really like on Ralphie B track is the way he manage to build uplifting productions that at the same time have depth and substance to them. Its not a coincidence that he releases a handful  of tracks and not new tracks every week. He seems to work hard to polish all the edges and offer the best trance experience to the listener with honesty and immediate pay off moments. Hands in the air and heart signs too please. Love iT

1.The Future (Original Mix)

It’s one thing to teach an entire scene the BOOM dance, it’s another to keep up the same high level for its follow-up. An easy task for Australia’s MaRLo, who heads for the dark side of trance with ‘The Future’.

Ever walking the fine line of trance, techno and all else that feeds his musical passion, Marlo Hoogstraten has found his own sound in-between. Making a remarkable rise to fame in these past 4 years, the Dutch-born producer further builds his legacy, already shaped by the sounds of ‘The Island’, ‘Jaguar’, ‘BOOM’ and ‘Megalodon’.

‘The Future’ is next up. Enjoy its shady, dark feel and be blown away, right there on the dance floor.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most beloved labels in the family of Armada Music is Captivating Sounds with incredible classics in its backcatalogue. The top label continues its legacy with another incredible big room tech trance production by the one and only MaRLo. The ultra talented dj and producer service a powerful energetic trancer that is packed with clever twists and turns, spacey sounds and effects, hi-nrg basslines, dirty greedy beats and euphoric synths that will drive the unsuspected crowd insane. The cool vocal sample works really well within the sci-fi context of this mainstage tsunami style track. Its the type of mouthwatering gems that you drop and when you watch the crowd, you feel proud in front of your mirror of what you really can do with your music and drive big audiences insane! Its time for a brighter future for MaRLo. Lets vote for him at the dj mag top 100 djs poll. Love IT!
