1. Poseidon (Original Mix)
The year is 1999, and Armin just released ‘Communication’, changing the world forever. It’s a feeling many want to return to, but no one can seem to get it just right.
Enter MaRLo. The Australian super-producer takes all the energy and intensity from the ‘Golden Era’ of trance, and packs it into a shiny new package.
‘Poseidon’ is for the true fans. It’s for the people who are used to completely losing themselves at a main stage, watching the greats of the great doing what they do best. Is it any surprise, with tunes like this, that MaRLo is quickly becoming one of them?
Dimitri Kechagias review: MaRLo is Back and this should be headline news to any trance site worldwide. The super powerforce Dutch dj & producer arrives with his mammoth size anthem Poseidon on the legendary and beloved Armada Music sublabel Captivating Sounds. Poseidon is one of the twelve gods of Greek mythology and has connection with the sea and the oceans. MaRLo who is currently resides in Australia that is surrounded by water was natural to dedicate his track on the most appropriate of the gods. The track itself is a magnificent combination of big room trance elements with euphoric feel good ones. What is more his basslines are so aggressive along with his heavy kicks that sounds actually like a hardstyle influenced track. The breakdown reveals in all its glory the very epic melody that actually recalls the mysterious times that the title refers too. His next sequence is super rough with in your face full on attitude. Its definitely not for the weak hearted. His 2nd breakdown brings that unforgettable euphoric melody back and his last sequence that can be named as climax is more floating and flowing with warm majestic synths and the heavy foundation of course. Sometimes an anthem is an anthem and nothing less! Be good boy and girl cause Poseidon can be really angry and his revenge will sound like this MaRLo slammer. #PureGold Love iT
