Coinciding with his first Mad Zoo roadshow tour across USA, the prodigious and unpredictable Mat Zo unleashes the second beast from his burgeoning label in the growling bass monster "Ruffneck Bad Boy".

A complete departure from the first release, "Ruffneck Bad Boy" opens with a intriguing blend of melodic keys, reggae vocals and rattling drums. Then comes the flip with a tightly edited roar of marauding bass, distinctive Bad Boy sample switches and Eastern influences.

Intense, innovative and unique, "Ruffneck Bad Boy" is another classy curveball from Mad Zoo's circus of the unexpected.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Mat Zo is one of the big future stars that will breakaway from the underground in 2015 without doubts. His newest release on his own label Mad Zoo is called Ruffneck Bad Boy and the result is absolutely stunning combination of dubstep, drum n bass, electro and progressive into one melting pot that sounds so fresh and powerful as it was the music from The Prodigy when they were at the highlight of their career. Classy arrangement that smashes into one explosive result with  mouthwatering sounds and futuristic composition that doesn't give a damn about music styles in order to deliver an explosive sonic and surprising soundscape that everything is aloud or allowed and nothing is prohibited or banned. Love It

After years of planning, Mat Zo is launching his new label Mad Zoo. Unlike most other labels, every Mad Zoo release will be available for free on Soundcloud for the first week alongside each release.

The first Mad Zoo release is out now and sees an official packaging of Mat Zo's recent quirky disco-house flavoured jam "Get Down 2 Get Up" (feat. The Knocks), as well as the brand new electro-breaks number "Left To Right".

"I've always wanted a quicker outlet for my music, so a while ago I decided to release some of my music for free on soundcloud. The only problem with this is if I want to license the track out, or even put the track on youtube, there has to be a label structure around it. The plans for Mad Zoo had been underway for years, so I decided to use the venture as new way for me to release music quickly, yet still have infrastructure around it. I will still continue to work with other labels in the conventional way." Mat Zo

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of those artists that deserve to get recognition and the mainstage performances that he deserves is of course Mat Zo who all remember from his magnificent trancier releases on Anjunabeats and of course from those years he moves to the sound that I believe represented him better and I feel he has the open artistic ground to be more experimental and surprise our ears. His label Mad Zoo explodes to the world of electronic dance music with his first EP that will do big damage without doubts. Get Down 2 Get Up is wonderful French disco house friendly record with great vocal parts and feel good atmosphere with funky guitar licks and irresistible groove and attractive rhythm that you know that the clubbers will feel straight away. With Daft Punk touches passed through his own filters and influences. Absolutely club and radio friendly material ready to get playlisted on the finest shows. If you want something more darker and maddening go Left To Right and you will find what you are searching for. Electro meets trap hybrid that will get many supporters in those particular scenes. Energetic with teasing elements that raise the tension and bring the track to its climax as it should be done. Good Luck Mat Zo and we are looking forward for more Mad Zoo's tunes. Love iT
