Mysteryland released its full line up for 2018. Fatboy Slim, Hardwell, Axwell & Ingrosso and KSHMR are amongst the key artists that will perform during the three-day spectacle that traditionally marks the end of summer. The leading dance festival in The Netherlands takes place on 24, 25 and 26 August and offers a musical variety that remains unrivalled. More than 300 artists will showcase this summer’s closing, including infamous DJ-duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Trance-pioneer Paul van Dyk, Techno-titan Sven Väth, Hardstyle-hero Headhunterz and Hip Hop-men of the moment Bizzey and Ronnie Flex & Deux Experience. On top of that, living legend Fatboy Slim will grace the festival with his presence ‘Right Here, Right Now’.

Early Bird Tickets for Mysteryland 2018 sold out within a day last week. Regular Tickets are now available.

In total, a whopping 300 artists will perform on 17 stages at Mysteryland 2018, covering every flavour within dance music, from its very core to the outer fringes. Genres that will be present at this edition include House, Big Room, Bass, Techno, Deep House, Trance, Minimal, Hardstyle, Hardcore, RnB, Hip Hop, Trap, Disco and everything in between.

At the Main Stage, internationally lauded DJ Hardwell will play his signature Big Room and Electro House sounds on Saturday night. The Revealed head honcho will return on Sunday, to headline his own label-stage in the famous Big Top tent.

A Grammy award-winning world star that came a long way since he released ‘Praise You’ and ‘Dub Be Good To Me’ will let us relive the magic of those anthems during his Main stage performance on Saturday: Fatboy Slim!

The central altarpiece of the festival grounds will be set on fire once more when brothers in arms Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Axwell /\ Ingrosso take over the Main stage on Sunday. Other artists with goose bumps-guarantee that will perform here over the weekend include Alesso, KSHMR, W&W, Galantis, Sam Feldt (live), Netsky and Lucas & Steve.

A firm fixture of the Mysteryland line up is the Q-dance Stage, located on the Northern Festival Grounds, on the foot of the gigantic pyramid. Everyone that means anything in the world of big drops and emotional choruses will be present to play the lavishly designed Q-dance stage. Headhunterz, Wildstylez, Frequencerz, Brennan Heart and Noisecontrollers are amongst the captains that will lead their warriors through the battlefields into Hardstyle-heaven.

Apart from the artist that will adorn the three biggest stages, Mysteryland teams up with underground brands for deep cuts. Sven Väths’ label Cocoon and Jamie Jones’ Paradise will return to the Southern part of the festival with two unique stages, bringing along Loco Dice, Green Velvet, ROD and Dubfire. In addition, Beatport will host its first ever stage tucked away in the forest where Berlin-outlet Stil vor Talent will showcase the deeper underground sounds.

Lush synthesizer melodies and transcendent laser filled shows will open up a whole new universe to revellers at the Trance Energy shrine. All time superstars Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Marco V., Ferry Corsten and Aly & Fila will treat new and old Trance-lovers to the finest selection of tracks.

Another gem of Dutch rave culture is hidden under the wielding fists of the Wizard. Originators Dr. Peacock, Gizmo, Promo, Korsakoff will make you understand the bliss of those Hardcore vibes at the Thunderdome island that will be open on both days.

On the other side of the pond, Hip Hop heads and urban lovers can bounce to slick grooves and thick beats by Bizzey, Ronnie Flex & Deuxperience and Johnny 500 at the Vunzige Deuntjes stage. This stage will be open two days as well, so smooth operators can get down and dirty all weekend long.

Of course, this is just the tip of the iceberg. With so many artists it is almost impossible to soak it all in at once, unless you stay the night on Mysterylands’ camping grounds. For camping guests, the festival opens its doors early on Friday, August 24th (11h) and stays open until Monday, August 27th (12h). Mysteryland is located in the close surroundings of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For those who want to combine the festival with a city trip, Mysteryland offers hotel packages including transfers, personal service, lockers and late check out.

The biggest dance music festival of The Netherlands has announced its 2018 hosting partners. The three-day event with on-site camping grounds will return to the former Floriade terrain near Amsterdam from August 24th until August 26th.  A limited amount of Early Bird tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, February 27th at 12h (CET).

Following the tradition, the Main Stage and Q-dance stage will be 2 of the largest among the 17 areas, inviting international stars of the electronic dance music scene to headline Mysteryland this summer. And this is just the beginning, as the organisation will be joining forces with some exciting new partners.

Hardwell’s label Revealed will, for the first time, host a stage, bringing Electro, Big Room, Progressive and Bass House to the Northern festival grounds of Mysteryland. With a huge international following, this brand new collaboration promises to attract dance music fans from all the corners of the world. In order to cope with the big demand, the massive Big Top tent will be extended in size.

Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano will also host their own area for the very first time. Their hot and steamy Sexy by Nature concept will conquer a brand new stage situated right on the lake.

Another landmark for Mysteryland 2018 is that the world’s most renowned Trance event, Trance Energy, will return to host a stage, alongside with the hottest DJ’s the Trance scene has to offer. Expect emotional build-ups, crisp clear sound systems and epic breaks on a laser filled dance floor. Across the lake, Trap duo Yellow Claw, founders of the Barong Family, promises to invade its brand new stage with massive bass lines and intense drops. Right at the top of the pyramid, his royal hotness Tony Junior will also host his very special secret area. Like all mysterious spots, this gem is hard to find, but worth the quest.

On the lush green Southern parts of the terrain, Sven Väth’s label Cocoon will return for the full weekend with its forward thinking underground concept, uniting Techno and House fans from all over the globe. Next door, Jamie Jones will host his Paradise-party with full focus on the funkier side of House and Techno.

For everyone that likes it harder, Thunderdome will again prove that Hardcore truly never dies. The notorious concept will be taking over a full island on the Northern festival side for two full days this summer. Furthermore, Urban outlet Vunzige Deuntjes will expand its hosting across the whole weekend, on its own private R&B and Hip-Hop sanctuary.

Kris Kross Amsterdam will be back joining forces with Crazy Town to showcase their signature blend of House and R&B and Milkshake will be given a cart blanche to go all out for two days with its extravagant performances and colourful dancers.

Musical diversity has always been key to Mysteryland. This year, the festival promises to break down the barriers between music genres even further.

A more detailed overview of all stages and hosting partners can be found on the Mysteryland website. The complete line up will be announced within the next few weeks.

Fourth edition of ADE and ID&T's conference dedicated to sustainability, innovation and social change takes place on Wednesday October 19 at De Brakke Grond.

After recent announcements about ADE Next and the ADE SLEEP/OVER we now turn our focus to ADE Green. Sustainability and social change are becoming ever more important for festival organisers. And once again, ADE and ID&T are taking the lead when it comes to meaningful solutions through inspiring workshops, in-depth discussions, and panels as well as keynote speeches at ADE Green. The 4th edition on Wednesday October 19th at De Brakke Grond will bring together a broad range of players from the global music industry during this pioneering conference on sustainability, innovation and social change.

Representatives from Roskilde (DK), India’s Longest Guest List (IN), DGTL (NL), Welcome to the Future Festival (NL), Boom Festival (PT) and Ieperfest (BE) will share their experience and plans on how they intend to take action for the future at this year’s ADE Green. Festivals provide an important stage for cultural ideas and innovative developments. Event organisers and artists are becoming more and more aware of the platform they have and the message they can transmit to their audience, and this shows in the initiatives they support and the change of policies and production methods at festivals.

Mysteryland, the longest running dance festival in the world, reveals the Holy Ground Camping program with a wealth of exclusive performances and back-to-back sessions that won’t be heard at any other festival. These range from Seth Troxler playing back-to-back with Skream and Tom Trago, Afrojack playing a techno set alongside Benny Rodrigues, Dave Clarke executing a classic techno session and Breach b2b with Cinnaman.

The Holy Ground Camping will host the pre-party on Friday August 26th and the after-party on Saturday August 27th at the Camping Circus and Saloon. Afrojack will play an exclusive techno set with Benny Rodrigues, Dave Clarke will execute a classic techno session and Laidback Luke will once again return to the sounds from it all began: the 80’s and 90’s. Seth Troxler will take over the Saloon on Saturday with his Big Tittie Surprise imprint showcasing a special b2b set alongside Skream and Tom Trago.

Nick van de Wall, better known as Afrojack: “Benny Rodrigues is the first DJ that ever inspired me to become a great DJ, to this day he’s still my favourite house/techno DJ, and it’s not only a great personal experience for me to DJ back-to-back with him, but also an honour”.

Mysteryland loves surprises. At the Camping Circus on Friday, hardstyle rockers Psyko Punkz tackle techno and Dirt Caps plays their favourite hip-hop tracks. On the same day, local heroes join forces with international masterminds, as The Saloon welcomes Cinnaman to the stage with Breach, the British DJ and producer who had the worldwide hit ‘Jack’ and has collaborated with Kelis and Andreya Triana. Continuing the theme of cross-border collaborations, San Proper teams up with Chicago house legend Tyree Cooper, William Kouam Djoko invites Ryan Crosson from Visionquest into the booth, and Boris Werner will join the stage together with Parisian Djebali for a back-to-back mix.

This year visitors will be able to stay at the Holy Ground Camping from Friday August 26th until Monday August 29th, giving festivalgoers more time to party and to discover the wide range of music, art and culture on show. In 2015, the Holy Ground Camping passes sold out in two hours, and with the entertainment announced for 2016 they are expected get snapped up in a flash once again! Visitors who secure a ticket for the Holy Ground Camping, have the option to sleep over after the festival in their own tent, or select from a range of luxury camping options available, such as a tipi or a luxurious tent with real beds. Tickets for the Holy Ground Camping and the festival are available through tickets.mysteryland.nl.

All relevant electronic musical styles are represented

Mysteryland takes place on Saturday August 27th and Sunday August 28 in Haarlemmermeer, The Netherlands. This year, Mysteryland bursts at the seams with two full days of stages showcasing sounds from: EDM to afrobeat, techno to hiphop and hardstyle to disco. On the line-up are world class players such as Diplo, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, MK, Sam Feldt and Sander van Doorn, underground heroes including Dave Clarke, Detroit Love, Apollonia, KARENN (live), Baba Stiltz, Rebekah, Studio Barnhus, Boys Noize, Kim Ann Foxman and a special performance from Surgeon featuring Lady Starlight, plus many many more.

Prestigious art installations

The Culture & Arts program of Mysteryland this year is world class. Several leading international artists create installations for the festival. The Mainstage is designed by American Kate Raudenbush, who is best known for her work at Burning Man Festival. As a gesture to all residents of the city of Haarlemmermeer, artist duo ATM creates a lasting work of art from recycled wood beneath the infamous pyramid. The collective WERC will be at the foot of the imposing pyramid with a light installation on the water where all luminous elements can move independently.

About Mysteryland

Mysteryland began in 1993 and is the longest running dance festival in the world. The festival focuses on electronic music, art, culture, talent, and sustainability. Mysteryland has been awarded by Julie's Bicycle with a “3 Stars Green Industry Certificate” which is the highest designation for sustainability within the creative arts, music, and theater industries. The festival is rated three stars by A Greener Festival Award. This year, Mysteryland is celebrating a multi-day edition for the second time in the former Floriade Terrain in Haarlemmermeer.
