[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The exceptional Wellenrausch are back on Afterglow Deep with their stunning remix on one of the most beautiful trance classics by the German legend with Greek roots Plastic Angel. Distorted Reality is re-imagined as deep melancholic moody avant-garde progressive track with trance and house influences perfect for those moments that you build warm and friendly sonic environment for your dancefloor. Pulsating basslines, chunky grooves, distorted moody haunting synths and of course the sweet melodies of the original sounding like sunrays in a cloudy rainy day. Wellenrausch never fail to impress and stand out so definitely we wait new material from them and we hope more remixes of Plastic Angel classics from his Wash days. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

Lyonheart’s marvelous and slightly mysterious collab with Aqualung, Running, was featured on Lyonheart’s recents No Brakes EP. Such a special track deserves a couple of remixes and we found both Wellenrausch and Fameache up for this task. Each of them transforms the slightly electronic pop tune into a more danceable number, each keeping to their own style.

With their second artist album "The Pages Of Time" Wellenrausch deliver the highly awaited follower of "Personal Epos". 10 brandnew tracks, packed into one tough unit, prove that Wellenrausch once again manage to keep the balance between turning the pages of time and not giving up on their identity, between not standing still and yet keeping up their unique style. There is this clarity within electrifying tension, this softness within pure power. There is this eye-of-a-cyclone experience, this magical silence in sounds surrounding. There are these lyrics spanning up this massive mystical imagery within. One more time Wellenrausch are underlining their credo of reinventing themselves as often as they can, making a step outside into another dimension, waiting to be discovered again and again.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest deep progressive trance project is back with brand new album that already reached the number 1 at the beatport top 100. Wellenrausch after their exceptional album Personal Epos that is considered to be a classic trance album return on Afterglow records with the awesomely entitled The Pages of Time.10 superb tracks that follow the well established "Wellenrausch" style that stands out from anything else that you may have heard until now. Sending Out A Light is wonderful relaxing ambient/lounge style track that used as the perfect introduction to this very special album. It starts with  lovely ambient intro and strong piano chords and synthy plucks. After the long intro the superb vocal comes in while the breaks section slowly unfolds and takes us on board for the spiritual journey that is this album of course with the vinyl scratches on the background as well. Love Over Mind Over Matter is a powerful deep melodic progressive trancer with exceptional lyrics and warm atmosphere. The breakdown is packed with emotional sensitive melodies that slowly crawl under your skin and contact with your heart. Driving and travelling is moody progressive trance at its highest level. Hypnotize is another heart breaking chill out/lounge style track with liquid break beats, variety of nice synths, electronic melodies, epic strings and fantastic male vocals that sound dark and very Gothic as well with the right indie rock dose in them. City In Flame is a driving deep acid progressive trance that easily carry you away to a distant future with mid 90's Hardfloor influences. Cinematic mysterious atmosphere and great groove to keep the clubbers dancing with their bodies and listening with wide open ears. Fantastic breakdown with great crescendo moment that erupts with energetic synths and leads the track to the full on energetic climax with big euphoric synths and acid layers too.  Dream Within A Dream continues our mysterious sonic adventure with bubbly deep basslines, haunting atmosphere and colourful synths that build the magical soundscape that make you feel totally and utterly lost within a dream. The Pages Of Time is the 3rd chill out / lounge style track with superb breaks and sci-fi spacey atmosphere. Dark and dangerous, unexplored and surprising, adventurous and experimental with some dubstep infusions as well with epic cinematic strings. The vocal as always sounds absolutely stunning and we hope that soon Wellenrausch will be invited to perform Live. The track Rivers Deep is already released as a single and is just magnificent deep progressive smooth trancer with great sounddesign and sacred mysterious atmosphere that definitely absorb you in its soundscapes. Ready for club use with tough groove, deep basslines and strong clubby synths will be played a lot during the summer festivals and will blow many trance minds that's for sure. These Moments is the only  instrumental track on the album and  stands out thanks to the very strong memorable synthy melodies that hook you instantly and manage to uplift your senses to a higher level. It's real pure underground trance with high class original themes and fantastic involving arrangement that win the attention of the listener instantly. Virtual Self feat Andre Berger is an excellent club oriented track with energetic pulsating bassline, techy chunky groove and cool percussion. The vocals are passionate and I feel that the lyrics are very memorable and will be easily saved in your memories hard disc. It's one of the most powerful moments in this album and offer the peak moment that really needs to transport the listener  to another higher dimension. Last but not least As Silence Falls is the deep trance meets chill out/ lounge electronica track of the album that starts with excellent live samples from train station and slowly builds into an emotional dreamy ride that invites to discover what happen when Silence Falls and Darkness Calls. The perfect track to finish off the album and make you want more and wait with anticipation the 3rd chapter of Wellenrausch dark apocalyptic tales! Absolutely essential trance album of the year! #PureGold Love IT
