Wellenrausch after their exceptional album Personal Epos that is considered to be a classic trance album return on Afterglow records with the awesomely entitled The Pages of Time.10 superb tracks that follow the well established "Wellenrausch" style that stands out from anything else that you may have heard until now. Sending Out A Light is wonderful relaxing ambient/lounge style track that used as the perfect introduction to this very special album. It starts with lovely ambient intro and strong piano chords and synthy plucks. After the long intro the superb vocal comes in while the breaks section slowly unfolds and takes us on board for the spiritual journey that is this album of course with the vinyl scratches on the background as well. Love Over Mind Over Matter is a powerful deep melodic progressive trancer with exceptional lyrics and warm atmosphere. The breakdown is packed with emotional sensitive melodies that slowly crawl under your skin and contact with your heart. Driving and travelling is moody progressive trance at its highest level. Hypnotize is another heart breaking chill out/lounge style track with liquid break beats, variety of nice synths, electronic melodies, epic strings and fantastic male vocals that sound dark and very Gothic as well with the right indie rock dose in them. City In Flame is a driving deep acid progressive trance that easily carry you away to a distant future with mid 90's Hardfloor influences.
