Taylor Torrence and Kyra Mastro reunite to conjure up their enchanting techno-powered collab "Voodoo," an impactful single slated for release via Dreamstate Records.

The two frequent collaborators are tying up once again to release their new single on Dreamstate Records.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Taylor Torrence and Kyra Mastro reunite to conjure up their enchanting techno-powered collaboration, "Voodoo," an impactful single slated for release via Dreamstate Records. This track showcases the duo's deep understanding of techno production, blending meticulous sound design with dynamic energy. "Voodoo" is a driving techno cut that stands out for its technical sophistication. The track opens with Kyra's spellbinding spoken-word vocals, layered with precision to create an immersive auditory experience. The vocal processing employs subtle reverb and delay effects, enhancing the hypnotic quality without overpowering the instrumental elements. The production leans heavily on a eurodance-infused groove, incorporating classic rave whistle tones and cosmic bleeps crafted through intricate synth programming. The thunderous kicks, achieved through layered drum synthesis and carefully equalized low-end frequencies, provide a solid foundation that drives the track's momentum. The peak-time energy is amplified by screeching synth slabs and hoover rave stabs—iconic sounds in the techno realm—manipulated through distortion, phasing, and modulation techniques to maintain a fresh and aggressive feel. Operating at a formidable 150 BPM, "Voodoo" is designed as a Powerball for the dancefloor. The track’s arrangement follows a tension-and-release structure, with strategic buildups and breakdowns that keep the listener engaged. The catchy vocals are complemented by feel-good, rave-infused melodies, while aggressive synth stabs add an edge that ensures its impact in a club setting. This track is a testament to their growth as artists, blending technical prowess with a keen sense for dancefloor dynamics. #PureGold Love It. [/content]

Fresh off the high from a knockout Boiler Room set at the AVA Festival and the release of her latest EP on her self-founded label, slash, KI/KI has unveiled her reimagining of Felix’s all-time classic ‘Don’t You Want Me’ after months of teasing the track and recently confirming its official release on Armada Music.
This new rendition integrates the iconic synth riff of the original into a driving production that embodies KI/KI’s signature acid-techno sound. As a staple in KI/KI’s live performances and DJ sets at festivals like Glastonbury, Sónar Barcelona and Kappa Futur, the track has generated significant anticipation for an official release among fans and tastemakers alike.
“I’m so happy to share my new remix – AKA my most played festival hit – with everyone!” said KI/KI. “I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time and I’m beyond excited that it will be out in the world from today.”
The release follows shortly after the release of ‘slash 010,’ the highly anticipated EP from KI/KI on her self-founded label, slash. The critically acclaimed EP which features lead track ‘5 Mins Of Acid’, has garnered rave reviews, with Resident Advisor praising KI/KI as a "master of her sound."
The original, released in 1992, reached number six on the UK Singles Chart and topped the charts in Finland, Spain, and Switzerland. It also claimed the number one spot on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and the European Hot 100 Singles chart. In 1995 and 1996, the song re-entered the UK charts in a remixed form.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Felix all time favorite classic Don't You Want Me is remixed perfectly from the rising star KI/KI. Her version is an excellent hybrid of techno rave with trance so it will be easy to crossover from trance to techno sets. Energetic pulsating basslines, pounding drums, pumping percussion and on top the eternal vocal samples and the well known synthy hook. Her climax is impressive with trance gated voices along with the well known melody and the euphoric vocals bringing back the 90's in the most impressive and proper way. Without excessive effects or many layers of sounds KI/KI keeps it cool and simple by focusing on what really matters to deliver an instant club favorite for the new generations and nostalgic journey for the older and wiser. #PureGold Love It[/content]

About KI/KI
From Amsterdam’s fertile underground to techno temples around the world, KI/KI is at the forefront of a new rave insurrection.
Shaped by the time-tried fundamentals of trance, acid and techno, she subtly constructs her own signature: a sound realm that’s fast but dreamlike, futuristic but nostalgic, severe but – at all times – euphoric.
Starting out as a resident DJ at queer stronghold Spielraum back in 2018, KI/KI has rapidly evolved into a nightlife bastion of her own. In the past years she’s made a mark with unforgettable all-nighters, curating her own ‘KI/KI invites’ series, upsurging Boiler Room views, and causing dancefloor frenzy from Säule to Bassiani to ∄.
As an artist, collaboration and community are essential to KI/KI’s craft. While festival stages and warehouses have become her second home, her heart still beats the loudest for the dark and intimate fringes of nightlife. Beyond music, this artistry bleeds into all forms of collaboration; resulting in, among others, her ‘not for sleeping’ project with Amsterdam fashion collective The New Originals.
slash, the newly founded label by KI/KI, aims at releasing neat sounds at the edge of trance and techno. With an ambition to present new music while still attaching a real importance to her beloved ‘90s sounds, this label will be a mix of projects from both emerging artists together with those from back in the day.
On the verge of releasing her highly anticipated tracks as well as – spoiler alert – the buried treasures of like-minded producers, the storm that’s KI/KI is only just picking up.
A massive techno bomb from German producers Le Shuuk and B-Stylezz, ‘Konje’ doesn’t pull any punches at all. From the incendiary bass drops to the rave-like synths, their debut release on Armind will blast apart every sound system and dance floor.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] le Shuuk x B-Stylezz collaborate on Armin's beloved imprint for the super clever Konje. The track moves on the mainstage euphoric techno direction with ultra powerful headbanging rough and ready sound that simply rocks and sounds too good to resist and not start jumping and bumping around. The cool Bulgarian vocals make the big difference and the ethnic touch to the track certainly serves perfectly to highlight its very original sound and to captivate audiences around the globe. So powerful and floating is full of suspense and release with tricks and tweaks to make it irresistible. The only issue is that extended version is a bit short and would prefer a longer one but there is always the repeat button to keep it pressed. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

The legendary Frankfurt based duo Andy Düx and Oliver Bach return on Technoclub Pure after their very successful single Let’s Go released in March 2023. Their new highly anticipated track Vampires @ Night is a dark moody driving melodic 133 BPM techno anthem perfect for any DJ who wish to add a bit of retro techno spices to their trance recipe. They adopt electronic style groovy kick, techy metallic sharp basslines, thumping percussion and the cool old school hoover style ravey synthy stabs to bring excitement, suspense and nostalgia to the global crowds. Industrial style synthy riffs are well placed to raise the tension and build anticipation. The dark vocal sample is used well to add the atmosphere needed and their breakdown is quite minimal and floating with gated voice effects leading to the driving energetic hypnotic climax that attracts the attention and keep the dancefloor moving for long and sweaty hours. For those who don’t feel the vocal the release package includes the much needed Dub version as well. Once again Andy and Oliver stay faithful to the electronic techno roots to deliver unique and dark flavours to the festival mainstages and techno dark rooms. From Berlin to Frankfurt and beyond Vampires @ Night is raw, filthy, dirty and extremely energetic for serious club destruction out now on Technoclub Pure, the label curated by the techno pioneer Talla 2XLC.

Düsseldorf was already considered a stronghold of electronic music in the early 70s. In addition to pioneers like Kraftwerk, there were also bands like D.A.F. or Liaisons Dangereuses, who still influence the electronic music scene today like almost no others. So it's no wonder that MOGUAI's and RMB's paths crossed very early on in Düsseldorf. During the first years of his career, MOGUAI stopped off every now and then in one of the legendary Düsseldorf clubs, where Düsseldorf's Farid Gharadjedaghi and Rolf Maier-Bode were also regular guests. Nevertheless, it took years until they found the time for a collab. As a huge fan of the original 94 version of "Redemption", it was no question for MOGUAI which song to release together. MOGUAI managed to keep the vibe of the original while giving it a modern sound. This song comes like an elemental force and draws us in.

The energetic rave classic gets two stunning remixes one that runs in 142 BPM and one in 136 BPM. The tough pounding metallic kick along with the deep powerful basslines combined perfectly with the the great rave style voices and the the majestic breakdown with the melancholic but still powerful vocal. Absolutely a stunner that will bring memories and hopefully will introduce RMB to younger audiences. Moguai never disappoints so we trust his outcome so much! #PureGold Love iT [/content]
If you ask MOGUAI about one of his favourite events, the answer comes quickly and firmly: Nature One. One of the biggest festivals in Europe has been taking place at the rocket base Pydna near Kastellaun since 1995.
When MOGUAI celebrated his debut at Nature One in 2001, he released "Supernatural", a fitting anthem for the festival under the name "Nature One INC". The song topped all the club charts for weeks and even made it into the German sales charts.
Now, 22 years later, history is repeated. This time he delivers an anthem with a clear message under his own name with "The Power The Chance". We have the power to change things if we want to. The future is in our hands.

He combines successfully melodic techno and trance influences with pounding drums, thumping pulsating basslines and superb percussion while on top he adds the awesome anthem rave style synthy stabs that will be impossible not to start dancing along with it. The breakdown is luscious with mesmerizing heavenly voices and most importantly the very emotional vocals by Lili who has such an incredible inspiring voice to make you want to change the world. The message is powerful and very inspiring without doubts and produced in the finest way. Lithuania's biggest Trance export / International DJ & music composer / Coldharbour Recordings producer / Artist at TotalVision Talent.
His latest track Confidence is out now on Markus Schulz globally respected and highly influential record label Coldharbour Recordings. We invited him for an interview and we are glad he accepted the challenge! Here you can enjoy his answers.
1-Dimitris: It would be nice to start by telling us your 3 most important achievements or goals fulfilled in your career so far that you very are proud of.
Anske: 1. Music released on multiple "In Search Of Sunrise" compilations.
2. Performed at Luminosity Beach Festival.
3. Started a brand new techno-inspired side project + something else announcing soon.
2-Dimitris: Why and under which circumstances did you took the decision to start DJing or producing electronic dance music?
Anske: For me it all began from music production (not with dj'ing). Making music almost all day long back when I was a teenager seemed super fun and immersive. It also felt like an escape from everything else. I was super intrigued by how music worked in general, how the sounds were created and everything came together. It's a whole another world really :)
3-Can you note down the top 3 producers that have influenced your decision to get involved in the electronic dance music scene and you admire and respect them very much?
Anske: Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz.
4-Dimitris: It would be fantastic to talk about your track Confidence on Coldharbour Recordings. Please tell us how this track came about and what was the idea behind it.
Anske: My brand new release is called "Confidence". It's a bit different than my usual stuff. But I think it's one of my favorites. Roaring synth theme, slower tempo, very climactic drop and super fun and groovy melody to it.
5-Dimitris: How long it took you to produce it and can u describe the production process in simple steps?
Anske: I had the demo idea of the track sitting around for almost 2 years, crazy. I guess I waited for the right time to release it out into the world. I remember the whole track coming together from the breakdown. I thought the melody was super cool and totally different than what I've done before.
6-Dimitris: Did you had any particular difficulties accomplishing that particular track or any specific technical challenges or obstacles that you had to overcome during its production.
Anske: There were a few changes indeed. In a way it's natural for most of the tracks. Sometimes you just need to do a week or even a month long break. And then when you come back you can hear the track more objectively and see whether there was something missing or needs changing/improving.
7- Dimitris: Which music composition software or hardware you prefer and why? What is your opinion of the latest movement to produce music with more analogue equipment and with less or without any digital software?
Anske: Ableton. I've been using it for ages now. I think it's one of the most easy-to-learn and flexible DAWs out there. I tend to work with digital software mostly.
8-Dimitris: Do you prefer instrumental dance tracks or you adore vocals? Please explain to us your position and if in your latest production you have vocals tell us how did you choose the specific singer and if it was great to work with her/him?
Anske: I usually release more instrumental track but I also adore making vocal tunes from time to time. It really depends.
9-Dimitris: Do you believe that artwork on your latest track is good and do you believe that artwork can attract listeners or record buyers? Can you mention the best artwork of a track ever released?
Anske: The artwork for the my latest release is a standard cover from the label BUT I can say that I had such fun making the official music video to it :)
10-Dimitris: Are you planning to complete an album or mix compilation soon? if yes please give us all the details about regarding tracks and how will look and sound like?
Anske: Yes! Announcing it this month. Something regarding my other new alias.
11-Dimitris:How much time do you spend promoting yourself in your social media and you see this as essential tool for self promotion and getting bookings too? Which social media is the one that seems to work better for you?
Anske: I'm not a big fan of constantly being on social media. I guess it's not in my blood that much. But I always try to be friendly and reply to people.
12-Dimitris: Please share your most funny and most serious incident that happen to you during your DJ performance?
Anske: Few times accidentally muting the whole track. Sounds silly now but at the moment it seemed like the worst nightmare, haha.
13-Dimitris: Are you enjoying to visit music conferences and do you have any plans to attend any of them in 2023:
Anske: Maybe upcoming ADE.
14-Are you happy with the way that royalties system works particularly regarding streaming revenue? Do you believe that artists get what they deserve from streaming providers/DJs playing your tracks in gigs/radio and selling music in physical formats like CDs/Vinyl or digitally.
Anske: I like how most record labels share and send the statements and statistics on time. However, I believe that most artists aren't being treated fairly regarding their stream revenues. In a way, it seems that most the music has lost it's value. This is quite sad. And weird, too. The music industry is really in a strange place right now (even stranger that it was before, lol).
15-Dimitris: Can you describe your music as certain music genre such as trance, house, techno or your music exempts these categorizations? What is your opinion about hybrid styles and the artists who are attempting to mix influences from various genres in their tracks?
Anske: For my "Anske" project it's mostly melodic stuff and for my alter ego alias "AN93" it's hard hitting euphoric techno.
Dimitris: Your message & wishes for Flux Bpm Online readers.
Anske: Thank you for your time! :)
Thanks to the beloved Anske for his great interview

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Francesca Fagiani enters Zoomer with full on mainstage acid techno banger called Forever. Fantastic wobbly grooves, tribal percussion, pounding drums, tough spanking dark basslines and full on hypnotic acid layers on top. The breakdown includes the very cool female spoken vocal sample and the gated trancy style voices that work perfectly to add that Age Of Love/Nu Rave Techno sound. The beats, basslines, melodies and acid touches deliver an oustanding result updating perfectly the Mediterranean techno trance sound of the legendary BXR label. #PureBassPower Love iT[/content]
Cosmic Gate have been on a vocal release hot-streak over the last 12 months, with ‘Hear Me Out’, ‘We Got The Fire’, ‘Follow You Anywhere’, ‘Emotions Of Colour’, et al, all shaping the sound of ‘MOSAIIK’. Those feels and fires only grow higher this week, as Nic & Bossi delve back into ‘Chapter Two’s tracklist, to bring us the tempestuous instrumentalism of ‘Mirador’.
As with ‘Retrospection’, its ‘Chapter 2’ forerunner, ‘Mirador’ is another CG masterclass in leveraging lighter and darker instrumental elements to deliver the sonically exceptional. The visionary ‘Mirador’ (‘a high tower, providing a horizon view’ – fact-fans!) is all about the club … and all about its floors. Tempos are heightened, bass frequencies deepened, and its melodies are judiciously played off against darker, stormier tones, as Nic & Bossi crank the track’s ether just as high as it’ll go!
In step with ‘Mirador’s debut, Nic & Bossi have supplied details of the second phase of ‘MOSAIIK – C2’s album tour. They’ve added 18 new stops, and widened its territorial scope, to include shows in Europe and South America. The second week of April sees the duo touch down in Mexico City and Guadalajara, before they head to Australia for their biggest OZ tour ever (6 cities & 7 shows). While May brings CG gigs in their native Germany and the UK. As festival season hots up, Nic & Bossi will also showcase ‘MOSAIIK’ sonics at mass events including Tomorrowland, Parookaville, ASOT London, Beats for Love and many others. Alongside all that, there are new NA dates too, and tickets for all the tour’s events are available now through this link. ‘Mirador’s out through all good sales and streaming platforms HERE.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Cosmic Gate are on fire with their new album and huge global tour performing in the coolest venues and festival stages. Mirador is their instrumental club weapon that is destined to crossover to wide variety of DJs who play from deep trance to progressive house and melodic techno too. Steady driving dark moody basslines, chunky electro touched grooves, punchy kicks and pulsating beats while on top haunting moody mysterious strings and dystopian synths are added to create its incredible atmosphere. Mirador is all about setting the scene in your set with its excellent sound design packed with warm sounds and lethargic synths building a sonic experience that can only be experienced right in the middle of the dancefloor with its killer bass blasting off the speakers. Cosmic Gate prove once again that are here to educate their fanbase and take them one step ahead rather than servicing them another slice of their well-known classics sound. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

After securing a spot on the 'A State of Trance, Ibiza 2022' mix album with his recent release 'OMEN', Parisian DJ/producer Frank Spector joins forces with Spanish trance veteran DIM3NSION. Edgy, suspenseful and preposterously impactful, '1000 Miles Away' is a sonic slam dunk able to obliterate any main stage.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Frank Spector is definitely one to watch and future favourite artist. Now the superb DIM3NSION remix of his single 1000 Miles Away becomes a collaboration single and the result is a long awaited single that combines good old trance vibes with techno elements for the ultimate peak time monster. The pulsating energetic basslines, thumping drums and rough kick merged with the massive synthy hook that has infusions from the past for sure perfectly remodeled and shaped for 2023 dancefloors. It has the tripping out atmosphere to carry the listeners for the ride of their life time. The cinematic vocal sample works perfectly to set the tone with cool little breakdown used to push the adrenaline level even more to the top. The real damage comes after the main spacey atmospheric breakdown as the melody is slowly unleashed along with mysterious vocals leading to the most devastating and uplifting minutes of your life. It's simply unforgettable and one of the big tunes in 2023. #PureGold Love IT [/content]
