CRi unveils the first volume of AMi, a new music and live concept born from friendships and connections forged on the road and in the studio.
The 7-track project brings together new collaborations with Miette Hope, Jesse Mac Cormack, and Dj Cinéma Quartier Latin, alongside the already-released tracks with Bob Moses, Harry Hayes, Nicky Elisabeth, and Romain Garcia.
The AMi NA tour, 13 dates across North America, kicks off the same day as the EP's release, opening with two sold-out shows in Quebec.
To mark the occasion, CRi has shared his AMi on iCE DJ set, filmed on a frozen lake in the Laurentians. Built around the idea of the rassemblement, a gathering of friends in an extraordinary setting, the performance was captured across multiple camera perspectives to create an immersive, dynamic viewing experience and features Romain, Jesse, Dj Cinéma Quartier Latin and Sinca.
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]CRi’s AMi Vol. 1 stands as a masterful demonstration of modern electronic production, blending emotional depth with technical precision to create a truly holistic listening experience. Each track in the collection demonstrates flawless rhythm, groove, and drive, with percussive elements layered meticulously to allow for both dance floor momentum and reflective home listening. The melodic hooks and harmonic layers emerge as vibrant, interweaving textures that resonate both sonically and emotionally, reminiscent of the detailed soundscape construction seen on prior Anjunadeep releases. Transitions, drops, and build-ups are executed with a sense of organic flow, ensuring that energy is sustained while still surprising the listener with subtle shifts in tone and intensity. This results in a smooth energy flow and momentum that makes the EP particularly effective for fitness and wellness settings, where maintaining a dynamic yet balanced auditory environment is key. The sound design and production quality across the EP are of exceptional caliber, with a careful balance between the low-end weight and airy high-frequency elements, demonstrating CRi’s deep understanding of spatial design and electronic mixing. Originality in arrangement is evident in the way vocal performances, such as those from Miette Hope and Jesse Mac Cormack, merge seamlessly with the instrumental layers, crafting moments of profound emotional resonance. Effects and spatial processing are employed with both clarity and creativity, creating a 3D listening environment that enhances immersion and mental engagement. Research in music psychology, such as the works of Thoma et al. (2013) and Särkämö et al. (2008), suggests that immersive and harmonically rich electronic music can reduce stress, elevate mood, and enhance cognitive flow, which aligns with the immediate mental health benefits listeners may experience when engaging with AMi Vol. 1. Dynamic range and loudness balance are perfectly calibrated, ensuring that the tracks feel expansive while retaining punch and clarity, even in high-energy sections. The cohesion and storytelling across the EP are reinforced by CRi’s artistic identity, which weaves a narrative of connection, nostalgia, and forward momentum. The vocal performances add lyrical weight and a sense of human intimacy, increasing the catchiness and replay value of the tracks. This balance of emotional engagement and production excellence makes the EP suitable for both club and festival settings, with intros and outros structured for easy mixing, BPM consistency for fluid set integration, and carefully designed cue points that amplify its potential for live performance. Crowd reaction potential is high, not only for energetic events but also for wellness sessions—studies have shown that rhythmic engagement in music can enhance physical performance and perceived exertion during exercise (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). In conclusion, AMi Vol. 1 exemplifies the intersection of technical mastery and emotional artistry in electronic music. Its positive impact on mental well-being and its adaptability to fitness and mindfulness contexts reflect the growing understanding of music’s role in human health and performance. The EP’s immersive soundscapes and dynamic energy make it a valuable addition to both personal listening and professional wellness environments. #PureGold Loveit[/content]

Landing on Unreleased Records, Victor Flash and Amour Propre present Rituel, a deep and hypnotic cut built on driving percussion, atmospheric tension and a pulsing low-end that moves with ritual-like intensity. With its blend of shadowy ambience and steady, entrancing groove, Rituel crafts a moody, immersive moment designed to captivate the dance floor from the very first beat.
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Victor Flash and Amour Propre’s Rituel, released on Unreleased Records, is a prime example of modern deep electronic craftsmanship. At 125 BPM, the track immediately immerses the listener in a hypnotic landscape powered by driving tribal percussion and a pulsating low-end. The production builds a ritualistic tension from the very first beat, combining shadowy ambient layers with a steady, danceable groove. The energy flow is crafted with precision—thumping kicks, layered percussive details, and a euphoric top-line piano melody interweave seamlessly with commanding spoken vocal samples. The resulting balance of rhythmic drive and melodic nuance creates a track that is both technically sophisticated and emotionally engaging. From a production perspective, Rituel showcases meticulous attention to detail. Its sound design integrates warm analog-style basslines with crisp high-frequency elements, giving the track a wide dynamic range while maintaining loudness consistency for club and festival play. The transitions and build-ups are executed with masterful restraint, allowing tension to accumulate before the drop lands with powerful intensity. Spatial effects, including reverb and stereo panning, are skillfully applied to create depth and immersion, making the track feel expansive on large sound systems while still intimate on headphones. The originality of the arrangement lies in its fusion of hypnotic grooves with ritual-inspired atmospherics, which keeps dancers engaged and DJs provided with seamless cue points and looping potential. Beyond its technical merits, Rituel has a profound impact on human well-being. Scientific studies suggest that rhythmic, high-tempo music at 120–130 BPM can enhance cardiovascular performance, improve mood, and increase motivation during fitness and wellness activities (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). The track’s pulsing bass and repetitive structure induce a meditative state akin to rhythmic entrainment, which has been associated with reduced stress and improved emotional regulation (Thaut et al., 2015). This makes Rituel not only suitable for dance floors and festivals but also for high-energy workout sessions, wellness classes, and mental health applications where music can serve as a form of active meditation and mood enhancement. The emotional resonance of Rituel comes from its capacity to synchronize body and mind through music. The euphoric piano melody layered over tribal percussion and atmospheric pads evokes a sense of collective ritual, inviting listeners to move, release tension, and connect with the music physically and emotionally. Club-ready yet spiritually immersive, this track embodies the power of electronic music to uplift, energize, and inspire. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

The track lands hot on the heels of the pair’s co-headline tour across North America
Acclaimed DJ and producer Alex Wann has teamed up with rising artist Notre Dame for their first-ever collaboration, ‘The City,’ out now via Armada Music. The release follows closely on the heels of the pair’s North American co-headline tour, including a standout performance at 99Scott in Brooklyn, New York City.
Blending Alex Wann’s signature Afro-house rhythms with Notre Dame's melodic textures, ‘The City’ delivers an evocative soundscape enriched by a powerful vocal from Carte Blanche, who delivers the emotive refrain: “I fell in love with the city.” Already a highlight in sets across the globe, the track is primed to become a standout dancefloor anthem.
Alex Wann says: "Jeremie (Notre Dame) and I have known each other for over ten years — friends from the same hometown. 'The City' came together naturally. The vocal immediately caught our attention: inspiring, emotional, and perfectly matching the energy we wanted to create."
Notre Dame added: “‘The City’ is a track born from our shared story, two kids who grew up in Paris and started this journey together. It’s a tribute to those nights that shaped us, to the city that raised us, and to everything that made us dream bigger."
Alex Wann has continued on an impressive upwards trajectory in 2025, building on his recognition as Dancing Astronaut’s Artists To Watch. With over 3.6 million monthly listeners, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide, highlighted by his rework of Route 94 and Jess Glynne’s ‘My Love,’ which has surpassed 72,000 streams and earned praise from When We Dip for his “talent for reimagining classic tracks with a fresh, modern twist.”
Notre Dame has quickly established himself as one of electronic music’s brightest new talents. In the past months he launched his own label, Paranormal, dropped ‘Give It To Me 2025,’ a collaboration with Adriatique, Nelly Furtado, and Timbaland on Interscope, while continuing to tour globally and deliver high-profile remixes for Lenny Kravitz, Bedouin, Röyksopp, and BLOND:ISH.

Dimitris Kechagias Review: [review top="1"] [item value="10"]Alex Wann & Notre Dame feat. Carte Blanche - The City[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Alex Wann and Notre Dame’s collaboration, The City, marks a sophisticated step forward in melodic and Afro-house fusion, masterfully crafted for both dancefloors and wellness environments. At 125 BPM, the track combines melodic house, tech house, and indie dance elements, creating a cinematic soundscape that is both energizing and emotionally immersive. The production leans heavily on clean rhythmic layering, syncopated percussion, and warm analog synths, all of which contribute to an outstanding groove and flow. From a technical perspective, The City demonstrates meticulous attention to sound design and spatial mixing. The arrangement introduces layers gradually, with harmonic progressions that evolve organically into airy build-ups and spacious drops. Carte Blanche’s vocal is processed with subtle reverb and delay effects, creating a sense of intimacy while maintaining clarity in a crowded mix. The track’s dynamic range and stereo imaging are particularly noteworthy, as they allow for both club-level loudness and high-fidelity headphone listening without losing detail. Melodic house DJs are likely to adopt The City for its versatility and emotional resonance. Its smooth transitions and precisely engineered cue points make it a reliable set piece for building or releasing energy in live performances. The Afro-house rhythmic undercurrent gives the track a danceable structure that aligns effortlessly with sunrise sets, deep house clubs, or festival mid-sets, while the melodic hooks ensure memorability and crowd engagement. Beyond the club, The City also holds value for mental health, fitness, and wellness classes. Research indicates that music with a steady tempo in the 120–130 BPM range can enhance endurance, coordination, and cognitive focus. The track’s uplifting harmonic structure and cinematic textures contribute to emotional regulation and stress relief, making it ideal for yoga flows, spin sessions, or mindfulness movement practices. Its ability to evoke nostalgia and joy through melodic storytelling can catalyze the psychological benefits of music therapy. By marrying technical excellence with emotional storytelling, The City is poised not only to become a DJ favorite but also a versatile tool for promoting movement, mental clarity, and overall wellness.. #PureGold Love IT

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Kasablanca’s “Better Today, Better Tomorrow” emerges as a masterclass in modern indie dance production, fusing electro elements with French house aesthetics to create a track that resonates both sonically and emotionally. Operating at 126 BPM, the track’s rhythmic foundation is meticulously engineered for dancefloor impact. The production combines pulsating basslines, tight electro-influenced kicks, and carefully layered distorted synths, all of which contribute to a driving momentum that can energize large festival crowds. The use of vocoder-treated vocals adds a nostalgic nod to French disco traditions while maintaining a futuristic edge, giving the track a unique timbral identity. From a technical standpoint, the song demonstrates exceptional attention to sound design and spatial mixing. Each element occupies a precise position in the stereo field, with dynamic range carefully preserved to allow the build-ups and drops to land with maximum emotional impact. The harmonic layers are structured to evolve gradually, offering both melodic satisfaction and a sense of narrative progression. Transitions are smooth yet impactful, using subtle filtering, reverb swells, and sidechain compression to keep the energy flowing seamlessly. The production techniques deployed not only showcase Kasablanca’s artistic identity but also ensure that the track is highly versatile for DJs, with clear cue points, loop potential, and BPM consistency that integrates easily into live sets. Beyond its sonic achievements, “Better Today, Better Tomorrow” offers profound benefits for mental health and emotional release, supported by scientific research on music and movement. Studies in music therapy and neuroscience suggest that rhythmic synchronization, such as clapping or dancing in time to music, stimulates dopamine release, which enhances mood and motivation (Zatorre & Salimpoor, 2013). The track’s driving groove and repetitive melodic hooks facilitate a state of flow, which has been linked to reduced stress and improved emotional regulation (Csikszentmihalyi, 2002). Furthermore, dancing to pulsating, high-BPM tracks has been shown to increase endorphin levels and promote social bonding, both essential for psychological well-being (Tarr, Launay, & Dunbar, 2014). By combining technical excellence with an emotionally uplifting design, the track functions as both an artistic expression and a tool for emotional catharsis. In conclusion, “Better Today, Better Tomorrow” is more than just a festival-ready indie dance anthem—it is an immersive sonic experience that taps into the emotional and physiological effects of music. Its precise production techniques, creative layering, and energetic flow make it an ideal track for both personal release and communal celebration. #PureGold Love iT[/content]

Talee returns to Anjunadeep, with ‘Poly Pool Orgy / Blue Ray Starseed’ and a brand new live band.
After debuting in 2020, Talee quickly found his sound at the intersection of indie and dance, drawing influence from artists like LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and James Blake. After early releases on Disco Halal and a string of live shows across the Netherlands, he joined the Anjunadeep roster in 2024.
His debut EP ‘One Step At A Time’ introduced three genre-blending tracks, accompanied by a live performance video shot on the set of an art exhibition in Rotterdam. Prior to this, he was remixed by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff for Anjunadeep 15, reworked Croquet Club’s ‘Don’t Say’, and performed a full live set at Anjunadeep Explorations 2024 in Albania. To round out the year, Talee sold out brand new London venue The Greyhound, and has since kickstarted 2025 with a remix of Luttrell’s track ‘Go’ taken from his ‘Life At Full Speed’ album.
Alongside the new release, 2025 marks the debut of Talee & The Romantic New Wave - a live trio bringing his music to life with raw emotion, improvisation, and dynamic energy. Designed to translate his sound from studio to stage, the band defines the project’s full expression; a deeply human experience.
Dimitris Kechagias Review: [review top="1"] [item value="10"]Talee - Poly Pool Orgy / Blue Ray Starseed[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] Anjunadeep, renowned for its fearless exploration of diverse sounds and styles, has once again showcased its prowess with Talee's two phenomenal tracks, "Poly Pool Orgy" and "Blue Ray Starseed." This record label continues to break boundaries, welcoming fresh sonic landscapes that appeal to both audiophiles and casual listeners alike. "Poly Pool Orgy" is a masterclass in groove-centric production. The track opens with a pulsating rhythm section, underpinned by impeccably crafted funky jazz basslines that add depth and warmth. The basslines are meticulously processed using analog saturation to enhance their rich texture, while sidechain compression subtly interacts with the kick drum, creating a dynamic ebb and flow. Layered over this foundation are vibrant synths, crafted from a combination of vintage analog gear and modern digital plugins, producing a psychedelic funk ambiance. The minimalistic vocals are tastefully processed with reverb and delay, lending an ethereal quality that complements the track’s groove without overwhelming it. The use of automation throughout the track adds an evolving, organic feel, ensuring that listeners remain engaged on an auditory journey from start to finish. "Blue Ray Starseed" follows a similar indie dance aesthetic but steers into a live performance-oriented soundscape. The production showcases funky, colorful synths, with a blend of warm analog pads and sharp digital leads. The electronic synths are meticulously layered, with frequency spectrum management ensuring clarity and separation between elements. Classic Anjunadeep vibes are omnipresent, thanks to the lush reverb tails and ambient textures that fill the stereo field, creating an immersive listening experience. The vocals are heavily processed with distortion and dynamic filtering, achieving a warm, tender resonance that juxtaposes beautifully with the crisp electronic instrumentation. The track’s groove is maintained through tight drum programming, featuring a blend of sampled acoustic hits and synthesized percussive elements, all meticulously EQed and compressed for punch and clarity. Both tracks are engineered to perfection, not just for studio playback but also to shine in live performances. The dynamic range, spatial effects, and intricate layering techniques ensure that each element translates effectively in various acoustic environments. Talee’s work exemplifies how technical mastery and creative artistry can coexist, resulting in tracks that are as technically impressive as they are emotionally resonant. #PureGold indeed. Genre-defying Dutch DJ and producer Eelke Kleijn’s highly anticipated fifth studio album, 'Connected', is out now via DAYS like NIGHTS/Armada Music. The album marks a new chapter in his creative journey, fusing his progressive house roots with a fresh dive into the indie dance sphere. With 'Connected', Eelke explores new sonic territory, leaning heavily into melodic vocals throughout the album – something he’s never done before, setting this project apart from anything in his discography to date.
Coinciding with the album release is a documentary of the same title, offering a rare and intimate glimpse into Kleijn’s personal and artistic evolution. The film traces his journey from his hometown of Rotterdam to the vibrant scenes of Latin America, where he has risen to international stardom. Featuring reflections from longtime manager Jeroen Fontein and Argentine house icon Hernán Cattáneo, the documentary dives into Eelke’s creative growth and the story behind his long-awaited album 'Connected'.
“I’m really looking forward to sharing a piece of the thought process behind the album,” says Eelke Kleijn. “And to giving a glimpse of what life looks like on the road and during shows.”
Although the all-vocal album concept was born in 2016, the project has undergone several waves of sonic evolution. What began as a more narrow-minded focus on dance and synthesizers has since expanded to embrace a full spectrum of instruments and sounds. This shift was fueled by the creative block Eelke encountered after years of touring during the post-COVID electronic music boom, prompting him to explore new musical territory.
Reflecting on the album, Eelke Kleijn shares: “Something that I want to achieve with all my albums is that they need to stand the test of time- I hope if anybody listens to it 20 years from now, it will still sound fresh and innovative.”
The 12-track album features the 2023 single ‘Transmission’, which gained international success following a remix by Joris Voorn, as well as lead singles ‘The Way I Feel’ featuring Jamie McCool, and ‘Watching Over Me’ featuring the emotive vocals of Emily Roberts. On May 2nd, Eelke Kleijn will take the stage at Paradiso in Amsterdam for an exclusive live performance of his Connected album. This will be the first time he plays the album live, featuring a unique visual experience where cloth and light merge in a stunning projection.
For over two decades, Eelke Kleijn has been a driving force in the electronic music scene, known for his rich, versatile productions. His track ‘Transmission (Joris Voorn Remix)’ became a major hit, reaching the Dutch Top 40, spending two weeks at #1 on the Shazam Netherlands chart, and earning accolades such as SLAM! Mixmarathon’s Track of the Week and Radio 538’s Dance Smash. His earlier tracks, including ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’ and ‘Mistakes I’ve Made’, also secured spots in the Dutch Top 40.
Beyond his work as a producer, Eelke Kleijn has composed music for films such as Batman v Superman, Rush, and Parker. With the release of his fifth studio album, he continues to push artistic boundaries, further cementing his place as a leading figure in the electronic music world.
A pairing that fans of both artists have been hoping for is finally here as Joris Voorn and YOTTO team up on ‘Seventeen,’ featuring vocals from Harry McVeigh of UK rock band, White Lies. Ever since their iconic B2B at Tomorrowland 2024, Joris and YOTTO have been craving to release a track that captures their vibrant chemistry. But it wasn’t until Joris discovered the evocative vocals of the frontman of the legendary UK band that the perfect project came to life.
Following his remix of Eelke Kleijn’s 'Transmission' and the atmospheric Tom Walker collab 'Burn', Joris recently took the stage at Tomorrowland Winter and Miami Music Week, solidifying his status as a global tastemaker. Riding on a high wave, he now delivers a strong contender for 2025’s song of the summer. 'Seventeen' brings together three musical titans in a melodic house track, combining soaring chord progressions with nostalgic, emotionally driven vocals that speak to the highs and lows of adolescence. With its emotional depth and festival-ready energy, ‘Seventeen’ is set to become a standout song across parties all through the summer.
Dimitris Kechagias Review: [review top="1"] [item value="10"]Joris Voorn x YOTTO x White Lies - Seventeen[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]JJoris Voorn and YOTTO’s collaboration on ‘Seventeen,’ featuring the evocative vocals of Harry McVeigh from UK rock band White Lies, is a masterclass in deep melodic house production. This track elegantly fuses emotion-laden melodies with meticulous technical craftsmanship, showcasing the duo’s prowess in electronic music production. At the core of ‘Seventeen’ lies its pulsating 126 BPM tempo, a sweet spot for melodic house that allows both dynamic energy and emotional depth. The track opens with warm, cinematic strings layered over subtle ambient textures, setting a dreamy and immersive tone. This atmospheric introduction gradually builds, guided by playful percussive elements and crisp hi-hats that introduce a rhythmic complexity without overwhelming the melodic narrative. The foundation of ‘Seventeen’ is its deep, resonant bassline—crafted with precision to provide a rolling groove that seamlessly interlocks with thumping kick drums. These kicks are carefully side-chained with the bass to create that quintessential pumping effect, a hallmark of well-produced house music. The use of analog synths adds warmth and character, with soaring chord progressions that rise and fall, emulating the emotional highs and lows that the track lyrically explores. Production-wise, the track benefits from layered synthesis techniques, where multiple synth patches are stacked to create rich, textured harmonies. The melodic elements are complemented by live-recorded guitar licks, which are processed with reverb and slight delay effects to enhance their spatial presence, giving the track a live, organic feel amidst its electronic framework. The standout feature, however, is Harry McVeigh’s vocal performance. His emotionally charged delivery is treated with subtle reverb and delay tails, ensuring clarity while blending seamlessly into the mix. Vocal chops and harmonies are skillfully woven throughout the track, adding depth without detracting from the main vocal line. Mixing techniques employed in ‘Seventeen’ emphasize clarity and balance. The dynamic range is carefully managed, with tasteful compression applied to maintain energy while preserving the natural dynamics of each element. The final mastering process polishes the track, enhancing its loudness for club play without sacrificing the intricate details that make it equally captivating on headphones or radio. With its blend of technical sophistication and emotional resonance, ‘Seventeen’ is more than just a summer anthem—it’s an exemplar of modern melodic house production, poised to resonate with audiences on dance floors and airwaves alike. #PurePerfection #LoveiT[/content]

Dimitris Kechagias Review: [review top="1"] [item value="10"]Eelke Kleijn feat. Josha Daniel - Lost In The Deep[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Eelke Kleijn’s ‘Lost In The Deep’, the seventh single from his forthcoming album ‘Connected’, is a masterclass in blending technical precision with emotive resonance. This indie dance/deep melodic house track operates at a meticulously calibrated 126 BPM, providing a rhythmic foundation that’s both driving and hypnotic. The track’s production process reveals Kleijn’s signature approach to sound design—where organic elements intersect seamlessly with electronic textures, giving the track its distinctive live-like feel. The backbone of ‘Lost In The Deep’ lies in its groovy, well-structured basslines that pulse with warmth and depth. Kleijn employs sidechain compression techniques to allow the bass to breathe dynamically with the kick drum, creating that classic, undulating house groove. The kick itself is deep and moody, crafted using layered samples with subtle saturation to give it a punch without overwhelming the mix, maintaining a playful yet grounded vibe. Guitar riffs weave through the composition, adding an unexpected but refreshing indie touch. These riffs are processed with delay and reverb effects to create spatial depth, enhancing the ethereal quality of the track. Automation of these effects helps in building tension and release throughout the song, keeping the listener engaged from start to finish. Josha Daniel’s vocals are the ethereal thread tying the sonic elements together. Recorded with high-fidelity condenser microphones to capture every nuanced inflection, the vocals are then treated with reverb and slight pitch modulation to achieve a hypnotic, otherworldly quality. The mixing process ensures these vocals sit prominently without clashing with the lush instrumental layers. Additionally, subtle background textures—like atmospheric pads and filtered synth sweeps—are intricately woven into the soundscape. These elements are introduced and modulated through meticulous automation, giving the track a dynamic, evolving feel that mirrors the emotional journey Kleijn aims to convey. ‘Lost In The Deep’ isn’t just a track; it’s an immersive experience, showcasing Eelke Kleijn’s prowess in marrying technical sophistication with heartfelt musical storytelling. The result is a vibrant, danceable track that moves both the body and the soul. #PureGold Love iT[/content]
