Talee returns to Anjunadeep, with ‘Poly Pool Orgy / Blue Ray Starseed’ and a brand new live band.
After debuting in 2020, Talee quickly found his sound at the intersection of indie and dance, drawing influence from artists like LCD Soundsystem, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and James Blake. After early releases on Disco Halal and a string of live shows across the Netherlands, he joined the Anjunadeep roster in 2024.
His debut EP ‘One Step At A Time’ introduced three genre-blending tracks, accompanied by a live performance video shot on the set of an art exhibition in Rotterdam. Prior to this, he was remixed by James Grant and Jody Wisternoff for Anjunadeep 15, reworked Croquet Club’s ‘Don’t Say’, and performed a full live set at Anjunadeep Explorations 2024 in Albania. To round out the year, Talee sold out brand new London venue The Greyhound, and has since kickstarted 2025 with a remix of Luttrell’s track ‘Go’ taken from his ‘Life At Full Speed’ album.
Alongside the new release, 2025 marks the debut of Talee & The Romantic New Wave - a live trio bringing his music to life with raw emotion, improvisation, and dynamic energy. Designed to translate his sound from studio to stage, the band defines the project’s full expression; a deeply human experience.
