For a debut release, an official remix for Like Mike on Smash The House is about as good as it gets. At twenty three years old, Belgian producer Jeff June is rocketing into the electronic music industry, bringing a fresh summer breeze, and proving that he is likely to become one of the countries new generation of dance music hotshots.

His rendition of Memories brings fresh and summery electro vibes, complementing the beautifully emotional vocals from former DJ Mag #1 Like Mike. With the infectious melody and organic sounds, Jeff June's remix of 'Memories' is destined to be a hit.

While the original is a cool trap record with nice atmosphere and romantic undertones the Jeff June Remix adds more energy and groove to turn it into the finest future house meets tropical house version that is relaxing and very groovy with cool xylophone melodies and sunkissed atmosphere. The vocal should be said that needs improvement but if we consider that this is first solo record with his own vocals then we should allow him to find the time to become better and I'm sure his voice will mature like good Greek wine. Radio playlists and spotify users will play it on repeat mode for sure.  Superb remix that makes us smile but still needs a big room makeover. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

A renowned producer and songwriter in his own right, Like Mike has surprised fans with the giveaway of a solo record – ‘Memories’. Making up one half of heavyweight electronic duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the Belgian artist has been toiling away in the studio of late working on fresh new music for a cluster of forthcoming singles with his brother. However, during his time off from DV&LM duties Mike has also put his creative touches to a selection of personal tracks that see him explore new sounds and genres.

‘Memories’ is a sentimental record steeped in personal connotations for Mike. This lyric-led record retains a feel that’s both deep in meaning and in groove. Progressively melodic, Mike’s topline pins emotion at the center of this deep pensive house record. Like Mike’s vocal charm on the record as is his somewhat effortless approach, as his ability to make the vocals feel almost melancholy yet the context is a positive one rooted in love rather than sadness. This stems from Mike’s previous experience of providing vocals to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike shows and standout track such as the collaboration with Ne-Yo on ‘Higher Place’ in 2015, which spent 10 weeks atop of the Belgian singles chart. The single was the first record from the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike catalogue that featured Mike as both a vocalist and songwriter. Mike also appeared as singer, songwriter on their 2016 single ‘Stay A While’ that to date has amassed over 37 million views on YouTube and was used in the official aftermovie of Tomorrowland Brasil.

With stunning prime animated visuals that offer another degree of depth to the ‘Memories’ track, 80s typography and a video-game futuristic style setting off the tone of the melancholic release. This giveaway shows a deeper side to one of dance music’s most renowned characters, it also teases fans of potentially more music to come from the famed Tomorrowland star! ‘Memories’ is a record well-worth visiting.
