James Cottle is well established and globally known for his releases on VANDIT records as he is handpicked for his DJ & production talent from the German trance legend Paul van Dyk. Lately he has releases on Pure Trance, FSOE, Subculture,Armada, Black Hole and he frequently co-produces with the incredible Craig Connelly. With the back up of their stellar studio experience of both producers the listeners expectations for Double Down are extremely high. They never disappoint, and this track will be another massive classic trance anthem added to their long back-catalogue. Double Down is a straight to the point Ibiza friendly uplifting instrumental trance beauty that is destined to get countless plays in the trance DJ sets this summer.

Super solid mechanical basslines, pounding techy rough kicks, tough percussion and top melodic themes are co-ordinated in studio perfection, to deliver an unforgettable sonic odyssey of feel good euphoria, that will travel the mind, and push your bodies to their limits. Definitely the most effective location, to experience it live, will be in an open air summer festival, preferably played by the producers themselves. The breakdown will please trancers ears, with exquisite synthy plucks and melancholic piano melody, that works like a treat, to enhance even more its undeniable dancefloor impact. The main huge swirling synthy riff appears graciously in the well-timed breakdown, and is colorful and blooms with positivity, all over the place. The climax is irresistible for any trancer who searches for well composed melodies, huge synthy hooks and the perfect peak time experience, that simply wins the attention and can become an instant favorite. [item value="10"] Woody Van Eyden - Futureproof [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Woody Van Eyden is an unstoppable force of high class productions on the biggest and most important record labels. DJ and producer with high capabilities to entertain mainstage crowds. His track Futureproof on High Contrast moves in the big room/mainstage territory with 134 BPM. Pounding tough techy basslines, pounding drums, punchy kicks and superb distorted synths in true dystopian direction. The breakdown in contrast is truly epic with huge orchestral strings and tear jerking pitched guitar riffs and piano chords building in truly melodramatic tone and pushing all the right emotional buttons. The climax is a totally different thing as this monstrous sharp distorted synth appears again to drive the track to its mayhem direction with that crazy synthy riff staying in your head for ever. #PureGold Love iT [/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Woody van Eyden and Alex Kudrow collaborate for an excellent uplifter that simply rocks big time with the very obvious and self-describing title Just Bounce Up. Straight forward big bouncy tough drums, punchy in your face hard basslines, thumping kicks and acid overtones to turn things more edgy. The breakdown reveals the really outstanding melody that will send you to outerspace and beyond. It's the type of synthy hook that will elevate even the fattest elephant on the entire galaxy. The cool vocal sample work to add the right context and the climax is euphoric to the highest order. Full on fluffy and euphoric is the perfect party trancer for the big stages this summer. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

1-Dimitris: 2023 just started but it will be cool to let us know how was 2022 for your career. Let us know about achievements or goals achieved that you are proud of.

Aidream: Last year was quite good, I managed to play at a few events I also signed some tracks on interesting labels where I always wanted to release

2-Dimitris: Do you have already some concrete plans for 2023 and if you are allowed to announce them to our readers please tell us what you are preparing for us in the coming months regarding releases and performances in gigs/festivals.

Aidream: At the moment I have signed 2 tracks that will be released in the near future

3-Dimitris: It would be fantastic to talk about your track Confusion with Calvin O'Commor on Heavens Gate. Please tell us how this track came about and what was the idea behind it.

Aidream: The idea was as always Calvin to sent me some melodies I made the arrangement and final mixdown. Later he did Mastering that's it ;-) We just know our capabilities and we often collaborate
together.

4-Dimitris: How long it took you to produce it and can u describe the production process in simple steps?

Aidream: I got midi files with melodies so basically it's similar to making a remix, I can change everything freely Of course, everything is overwritten as different versions. Production time also varies depending on free time and inspiration.

5-Dimitris: Did you had any particular difficulties accomplishing that particular track or any specific production challenges.

Aidream: There were no problems The hardest part is always coming up with a title and finding the right label ;-)

6- Dimitris: Which music composition software or hardware you prefer and why? What is your opinion of the latest movement to produce music with more analogue equipment and with less or without any digital software?

Aidream:  I work digitally, unfortunately I don't have analog devices. I like their sound but unfortunately I have to get around with the taste.

7-Dimitris: Do you prefer instrumental dance tracks or you adore vocals? Please explain to us your position and if in your latest production you have vocals tell us how did you choose the specific singer and if it was great to work with her/him?

Aidream: My productions are instrumental. Of course I like songs with vocals though I'm very picky about it. I've already made some steps to finally record a track with vocals

8-Dimitris: If you really like to produce vocal tracks which vocalist/singer or lyricist on electronic dance music you aspire to work with?

Aidream: I don't attach myself to names, besides that, I'm considering myself to be at the beginning of my career so I can not be picky.

9-Dimitris: Do you believe that artwork on your latest track is good and do you believe that artwork can attract listeners or record buyers? Can you mention the best artwork of a track ever released?

Aidream: It doesn't matter to me and I  don't have a favourite

10-Dimitris: Confusion is released on Woody's van Eyden label Heavens Gate. Tell us your opinion about that particular label and your connection with them.

Aidream:  I am very happy that I am able to join this label. I have good and close contact with the label.  I hope the audience will like the song

11-Dimitris: Do you have your own record label? if yes tell us when did you set it up, the reasons behind this decision and your top 3 releases on the label so far plus 2 or 3 releases that we should look after from your label.

Aidream:  I don't have my own label, although many producer friends do. I just don't have the time to do it all

12-Dimitris: Do you have your own radio show/podcast/twitch stream or Vlog(video blog)? If yes please give us a comment about it and how long it take you to prepare for it and if you are always excited to produce it?

Aidream: I record my episodes of Pearl Selection but not regularly I have over 100 episodes already.

13-Dimitris: From the gigs/festival performances confirmed so far for 2023 in which ones are you most excited to perform and why?

Aidream: Unfortunately, there are no confirmed performances, I hope that this will change soon.

14-Dimitris: Please share your most funny and most serious incident that happen to you during your DJ performance?

Aidream: I don't remember anything funny as I'm always very stressed when I'm performing, it takes a while to chill out.

15-Dimitris: Are you enjoying to visit music conferences and do you have any plans to attend any of them in 2023:

Aidream: I am very busy and have no time for music conferences

16-Dimitris: Do you have an agent that organize your performances and gigs or are you taking care of them? If you do have one agency please tell us what is so special and you work with them.

Aidream: I take care of everything myself, everything is in my head

17-Dimitris: Please note for all the new talents that read this interview to get some inspiration from you any technical tips in relation to your DJing or music productions. Also any piece of personal or music business' advice that has helped you to progress even further and is worth telling to the new upcoming talents.

Aidream: You have to love what you do and count on yourself. It will be very hard but eventually you will succeed

18-Dimitris: Is there a club classic that you would like to remix or rework in 2023? Do you attempt often to do your own bootlegs of classics?

Aidream:  Oh yes I have a lot of Reworks I love doing it Right now I'm working on one DJ Dean - It's A Dream

19-Dimitris: Vinyl sales are rising and there is strong demand for vinyl releases? What is the reason behind that trend and do you see it as a positive development?

Aidream: Music goes back to its roots. People are sentimental, hence the trend. Besides, young people can see what it used to look like playing music with vinyl.

20-Dimitris: Many artist right now attempt to come closer to their fan base and use the meta verse in order to offer exclusive content to their most dedicated followers. Do you have any plans to do the same and what is your opinion about this plan to grow on metaverse?

Aidream: I don't plan to use it in the near future.

21-Dimitris: Do you believe that music genres or styles are still relevant today? What is your opinion about hybrids and artists attempting to mix influences from various genres in their tracks?

Aidream:  Artists will always mix different genres with more or less success. This is the normal order of things

Dimitris: Your message & wishes for Flux Bpm Online readers.
