Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label Fenology records headed from the trance mastermind Woody van Eyden presents another fantastic female talent from the country that loves to party 24 hours and that is Australia of course. Alison Spong delivers an exceptional release that will certainly put her in the map of the most upcoming and quickly rising artists in the trance scene. Pedestrian Truth is a high class uplifting euphoric trancer with solid banging bassline that doesn't offend you, tough drums and sharp kicks while the main melody is simply miraculous and truly unforgettable. The breakdown is dominated by cinematic strings and magical choir vocals that create an atmosphere that you are totally lost in it and you escape to another higher dimension. The track has spiritual touch and you can sense it right here, right now as the various synthy plucks build up the tension and we move on the euphoric and truly epic hands in the air section. Pedestrian Truth is eclectic uplifting trance at its very best with the approval of Fenology records that always has high standards. #PureGold Love It

In our hands to review 4 tracks included and definitely will make you feel relaxed and very warm deep inside. Calimba presents the top Illuminate. Extravagance SL, a project, founded in the late summer in 2009 by the 2 DJs and Producer Philipp Leske and Marcus Schleickmann.

Long before they were on several events as DJs together behind the turntables and realized very quickly that they are on the same shaft. They share not only their preference for Trance and progressive trance, they also know exactly how this should reflect in their own productions.

Since the end of 2010 they found their musical homebase in FENology Records, the well-known label of Woody van Eyden, where their second Release *Rebuild 3.0* was directly grapped by Talla 2XLC on his Techno Club Mix Compilation Vol.39 and played by many big player such as Paul van Dyk, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Claudia Cazacu and Woody van Eyden to name a few. Moreover it was reviewed from 2 big magazines in Germany (Raveline, DJ Mag) and another big one in the USA (DJ Times Magazine).

One month in front of *Rebuild 3.0*, their track *Nightshift* with a bomb remix of Dan Stone, released on Tool Trance, was *TUNE OF THE WEEK* on Armin van Buuren´s *A STATE OF TRANCE 570*. The track reached the TOP 20 in the Beatport Trance Charts and was also played from big players like Above & Beyond, Solarstone, Cressida, Max Graham, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Woody van Eyden and many more.

Meanwhile they toured through various gigs and played also on Heavensgate Events, the well-known Radio & Event brand from Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Woody van Eyden.

Since the beginning of 2013 they present a monthly Guestmix on Heavensgate Radio with a big global radio network.

The next logical step was that they are exclusively managed throughout the world by Music & Artist Agency.

Dimitri: Can you mention your biggest achievements in your music career in 2014 and your personal life if it is something that you wish to share with our readers?

Extravagance SL: Well thats easy, we are so proud to become a new member of the Vandit Records Family with our two releases Cthulhu and Kurai. It was a dream to have a release on Paul van Dyk’s Label a long time and now the dream come true. And we found a second homebase with our progressive sound at Vandit Records. Tom Noize & Sean Darin feat. Matt Alber "Call in the Air", includes a quality remix by Digital Self & Tek-Tonic! We hope you like it!

Buy at beatport click here

Dimitri Kechagias review: Tom Noize & Sean Darin from Hungary team up to produce the stunning Call in the Air featuring Matt Alber on vocal duties. The track is a magnificent  modern neo trance meets progressive house track  with chunky groove, pumping energetic electro infused basslines and huge synthy lead that appears in the breakdown. Matt Alber is a very talented singer and his performance on this track is simply stunning and certainly he elevates the track to the next level. His voice sounds fantastic in EDM tracks and I believe that more producers should request him to feature him on their tracks and add his great personal color. Digital Self & Tek-Tonic are on remix duties and the talented duo from UK do their best to impress. Their balearic melodic progressive trance version is  blissful, euphoric, feel good and absolutely mesmerising. With deep driving energetic basslines, pumping pulsating groove and deadmau5 style chord progression they arrange their track nicely while Matt Alber vocal appears in the luscius breakdown and he really touch the listeners very deep with his hair raising  standout performance. Its the kind of track that the crowd will sing a long by heart as the lyrics are spiritual and meaningful that offer enough food for afterclubbing thought. The climax is full on hands in the air with euphoric uplifting synths to blow the speakers and raise the hair from your back. Two magnificent versions must have for any faithful big room vocal trance lover! #PureGold Love It

Fenology records presents the newest Corti Organ track "The Golden Age". Exclusively part of the mix compilation by Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody van Eyden - HeavensGate Volume.3!

Out now as a single release on Beatport click here

Corti Organ is a DJ and producing project started by two guys, who want to share their passion for electronic dance music

Influenced mainly by the rise of Trance in the mid to late 90s, the two guys constantly wanted to experience new sounds. The passion for electronic dance music originated from the tremendous spectrum of sounds — the clear atmosphere of Trance music, the straight line of Techno, the flexibility of House.

Besides those three generally defined genres and their subgenres, there are a lot of other styles, other then the EDM, which arouse their interest.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved trance duo Corti Organ from Croatia & Germany deliver their brand new track The Golden Age. Once again they prove how able they are to compose fantastic tracks with big potential for club destruction. The track starts really playful with chunky groove and punchy electro infused basslines that drive the track forward. The cool melodic theme slowly appears and we reach the first breakdown that is dominated from the very emotional and romantic piano melody followed by huge burst  of energy rush that is caused from the fantastic slightly distorted rave style synthy lead that will freak out all clubbers with hands in the air. When the kick strikes back the track take us on board for an uplifting, euphoric, dynamic, energetic and absolutely unforgettable trance journey. Along with the huge synthy lead the very dreamy piano melody comes along and support the listener to escape to another dimension. The second breakdown includes various synthy plucks that  perform the main melodic theme in order to memorise it for ever, along with piano sprinkles on top. The final climax is straight forward hands in the air melodic heaven that will please the ears and satisfy trance fanatics all over the globe. #PureGold trance anthem Love iT

Dimitri Kechagias review:  One of the must buy trance compilations is HeavensGate Volume 3 Aluminium Edition by Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Woody van Eyden. Fenology records presents the brand new James Dymond production that is included in this compilation called Helios.Trance Family members worlwide appreciate James Dymond a lot and his productions are varied from progressive 135 BPM to more psy tech trance bangers and of course to full on hands in the air pure emotional uplifting banging trancers like Helios. James Dymond at its very best and most effective. Helios is a powerful emotional dynamic energetic journey that bangs hard  with tough rolling drums, energetic driving pulsating bassline, acid overtones to keep things underground, euphoric synthy leads, choped vocal samples and most importantly amazing breakdown that will amaze you and keep you breathless wanting more and more of the same. Cinematic atmosphere with ethnic style vocals, very deep emotional sad melodies, orchestral classical music themes and overall very melodramatic experience that slowly fades away as the sub bass comes in and builds the track towards its exceptional climax that you will uplift your senses to the maximum and blow you away for sure. Epic uplifting emotional and intense Helios is a track that is described with difficulty and must experience it live in the middle of the dancefloor with hands in the air and wide smile! #PureGold Love IT

1-Sleepless in Budapest (Original mix)
2-Sleepless in Budapest (Sluice remake)
3-Somnambulism

Roland's name is becoming more and more popular in the field of electronic dance music. He is continuously working on loads of new projects, including remixes and collaborations. Being ambitious and workaholic, he is truly on the way to make his dream come true. Keep an eye on this guy, because he will have numerous surprises in the future.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Hungary is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe and is also the birthplace of many well known Electronic Music artists. Roland Sandor is one of the young talents that makes slowly his presence with quality releases. His latest EP that is already out for nearly a month on Fenology records, the top trance label headed by the legend and music entrepreneur Woody van Eyden, includes two very strong underground tracks that stand out from the rest because of the new ideas and fresh approach. Sleepless in Budapest is nearly 10 minutes big room progressive trance composition that breathes fresh air. Groovy chunky beats, deep haunting basslines, melodramatic strings, addictive dark and sinister synthy hook that nicely lead us on the long breakdown that will impress you without doubts. The fantastic violin melodies will give you goosebumps and the whole classical orchestral music theme will inspire and travel your mind like a white dove in the sky. Of course the same theme is replayed with the destructed rave style synthy lead that nicely builds the tension towards the big climax. His climax continues quite techy and groovy with little synthy melody replaying the theme and leading the track to its end. The Sluice remake is a very different version with old school trance feeling that will adopts the groove from the tracks coming from the late 90's without doubts. The 2nd track Somnambulism is the deeper tech trancer that will be adopted from djs who like the Coldharbour recordings sound. It is moody, gothic, dreamy and punchy at the same time. The breakdown reveals the main synthy lead that works on the subconscious rather than being the in your face type melody. His climax remains deep and mysterious with the addition of that nice synthy lead to help your senses flow nicely along and dance the night away. Love iT

Dimitri Kechagias review: The brilliant Dj Madwave from Switzerland strikes back with his next big room trance smasher Hypnozer on Woody's van Eyden worldwide known imprint Fenology records. The release contains two fantastic versions for your aural pleasure. The Trance mix is straight forward big room progressive trancer with energy, power and drive to move thousands of trancers on big clubs and open air festivals. The rave style distorted synthy drives the track forward in its truly epic hands in the air euphoric climax that will raise your adrenaline level to its picks. It has the emotional melodies, the full on euphoria and danceable beats that will cause mayhem on any trancefloor for sure. The Alternative mix is big room meets tech trance version that concentrates more on the bass and the groove with old school influences in it. Of course the breakdown is emotional with cinematic atmosphere and the epic hands in the air distorted rave style synthy but in more mainstage trance direction rather than following the classic trance route. If you search for the next BIG ROOM trance destroyer don't look any further. Hypnozer with hypnotise your audience and will crop up as one of the big tunes of the night! Love iT

With his followup to "Old Machine", JayB proves once again that his signature sound is still hot, powerful and refreshing! With complex basslines, crunchy leads and a JayB melody par excellence, "Dash Off" can't be described other than an outstanding trance tune. A Fenology highlight!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top German based trance record label Fenology records returns with the brand new production by JayB called Dash Off. As you can easily guess is a superb progressive trancer ready to win the admiration of superstar dj and ordinary bedroom djs too. Dash Off is very emotional progressive trance beauty with very danceable foundation of crunchy techy beats, electrified rocking basslines, cinematic strings, warm and tender pads and emotional dreamy melodies on top. The breakdown more specific is very well produced with mouthwatering sound design. It starts with ambient atmosphere and slowly some break beats are revealed like the sea waves splashing in the seaside. The brilliant harp like synthy melody calms the senses and put your senses into a journey. The euphoric synthy lead appears for a while and the beat drops to carry our soul away to the euphoric hands in the air climax. Blissful, mesmerising and emotional elements are combined with the very energetic and danceable ones to deliver the perfect mixture for the modern trancefloors. #PureGold Love iT

Last release for Fenology for 2013. After their successful co-op single "Magnum" together with Alex M.O.R.P.H. on Vandit, the guys from Corti Organ come up with their new EP "Freak Show / Cancun", including an upfront WvE Remix of Freak Show!

Check the track Freak Show on Corti Organ #EOYC set

Dimitri Kechagias review: The upcoming duo Corti Organ present their magnificent anthems Freak Show & Cancun on Fenology records. The Freak Show is full on power shoking big room trance or you can even play it on mainstage sets on big festivals. It includes elements of progressive house and big room trance and djs like W & W or Heatbeat for instance will enjoy to play. Its fresh more upfront banging and booming sound with rough aggressive basslines, hard style beats and very strong memorable synthy lead. The drop is unstoppable and amazingly punchy and in your face so its not recommended for the faint hearted. I would prefer to be a little bit longer and not just around 3 minutes. The label boss Woody van Eyden put his hands on it and he does his magic once again. His remix is a playful twisted progressive trancer with electro style basslines, rough and pumping basslines and dark and sinister synthy leads. Its so energetic and dynamic that will move even the fattest person on planet earth. When you hear it you feel obliged to dance along with it. The breakdown includes orchestral style classical music theme followed by thunder storming euphoric synths. The beat drops and the track moves  to its fat and monstrous climax that crowd will jump up and down and all the way to the ground. Super effective with sure impact on the dancefloor. Woody delivers one of his finest remixes for 2013. The 2nd track on the Ep is called Cancun. On this one Corti Organ move towards the melodic progressive trance territory and deliver a balearic Ibiza style progressive mood changer with highly emotional melody in the breakdown and euphoric climax that will raise the club roof and make you see the world with optimism and positive attitude. If you like the sound of Enhanced Progressive or Alter Ego Progressive this track fits that modern neo trance style. Superb EP that is highly recommended. Love iT

Fenology just released the  brandnew track by Maurice Lekkerkerker who delivers the melodic Trance anthem "Madeline".

Dimitri Kechagias review: The very gifted producer Maurice Lekkerkerker from Holland is back on Fenology records with an exceptional high class release that will definitely become one of your most favourites in 2013 and during the most part of 2014. Its a wonderful 134 progressive trancer with techy chunky beats, driving electro infused basslines and warm strings and blissful melodies that nicely lead us on the first calming breakdown while the second longer one reveals the classical orchestral music theme plus  the stunning opera singing part that create magnificent eclectic atmosphere to lift your spirit and senses a little bit higher. The climax is full on and hands in the air with that epic enormous synthy theme and classical strings offering an unforgettable and highly memorable sonic experience. Its the Rennaissance style melody as I call it and seems Armin van Buuren to support a lot in his show and with his pure trance project Gaia. High quality production standards from start to finish that balance high energy and emotional content and of course is highly recommended. Love it!
