Flux Focus on Noel Sanger - RVVLSM incl Morttagua remix on Kaleidosphere
re-viv-al
noun
an improvement in the condition or strength of something; a restoration of life or consciousness; a reawakening of religious fervor
Swimming in a sea of sterile and formulaic EDM releases, even as the genre reaches new and historic heights of popularity, for some, the magic has waned. One of the dance scenes most consistent and long-lasting artists, Noel Sanger, returns to form with this release, a revival of the spirit that's missing from so much of today's music, but with a sound that's pure future.
Along with Noel's original mix, a remixer roster of 3 rising stars puts this package over the top, each one bringing a distinct, hopeful flavor to the release, while maintaining the feel and spirit of the original. New York's Ellroy Clerk brings a proper big-room house remix ready to destroy any big club or festival stage. Brazil's great progressive hope Morttagua delivers a groover of a mix (fans of Eric Prydz, take note). Lastly but far from least, Sundrowner continues his steady ascent with a classic "Coldharbour" style prog-trance version, huge baselines and melancholy feels included at no additional charge.
