Creamfields, one of the world’s most influential names in dance music, has announced the launch of Creamfields Recordings, a new record label created to support, develop and elevate the next generation of electronic music artists.

The label is established in collaboration with Manchester-based music and culture company NQ, marking the start of an exciting chapter for both brands. Combining their strengths to build a global platform for new music releases, supporting both emerging and established talent.

Over the last 35 years Cream has evolved into a global force in electronic music, championing new and emerging talent and giving artists a platform to perform, many of whom have gone on to become some of dance music’s biggest players. What began in 1992 as a 400-capacity club in a disused warehouse in Liverpool has grown into a cultural phenomenon, laying the foundations for modern dance festivals worldwide through its award-winning flagship event – Creamfields.

Creamfields Recordings will build on this legacy, providing a dedicated space for emerging and established producers and DJs to release music, collaborate creatively and reach audiences on a global scale. The label will champion sounds from across the electronic spectrum, offering artists the opportunity to grow within one of the most respected ecosystems in dance culture.

NQ, a culture led music and entertainment company based in Manchester, operates across records, publishing and management. At the heart of this new collaboration is a shared belief that world class music and creativity can come from anywhere.
Commenting on the collaboration Michael Adex NQ CEO/Founder said “NQ was built in Manchester with the ambition of impacting the world from the North, so joining forces with Creamfields a powerhouse born from the same spirit feels like a natural evolution. Together, we’re creating a future facing label dedicated to discovering and developing breakthrough talent, elevating fresh voices onto one of the biggest stages in global dance and youth culture, and building meaningful careers with music that resonates worldwide.”
By combining Cream’s heritage in dance music with NQ’s creative energy and artist-first ethos, Creamfields Recordings will serve as a launch pad for talent at every level. From breakthrough producers to established names, the label will champion forward-thinking music whilst nurturing the next generation of artists.

The labels first release drops this Friday. For more information go to www.creamfieldsrecordings.com, Demo submissions can be sent to demos@creamfieldsrecordings.com

Liverpool has long been home and host to a series of exciting and diverse music events over the years, and 2024 is set to be another chapter in this cultural journey as ‘In the Park presents’ returns to Liverpool’s stunning Sefton Park from Friday 12th – Sunday 14th July 2024. With a 40,000 capacity each day, In the Park will be bringing together some of the best live music from various genres for what promises to be a firm fixture in the festival calendar.

First headliner to be announced is Jamie Webster - undoubtedly one of the UK’s most successful independent artists and one of Liverpool’s biggest musical success stories in recent years. His headline appearance at In the Park presents on Friday 12th July 2024 will be his biggest show to date and comes fresh off the back of two sell out 12,000 capacity shows at On the Waterfront last month and coincides with the announcement of his third album ’10 For The People’ slated for release early 2024. Fans can expect the usual proud and emotional performance that one of the cities most loved sons has become widely lauded for, an electric atmosphere under the mid-summer sky.

Following its Sefton Park debut in 2019, Saturday’s headliner has been revealed as Cream Classical and the 50-piece Kaleidoscope Orchestra. The show that started it all attracted over 35,000 people who witnessed one of the city’s most spinetingling and iconic performances. With a set list curated by dance music duo K-Klass delivering a soundtrack for the dance music generation like you’ve never heard it before, joined by an array of vocalists and performers and fresh off the back of another two sell out shows at Liverpool Cathedral, In the Park presents Cream Classical offers a unique outdoor experience with the city’s Sefton Park as its setting - a show not to be missed! More acts to be announced.

With a 30-year history of staging award-winning festivals and events in Liverpool and around the world, Cream and Live Nation are excited to build on its reputation as a global leader and establish a world class event and where better to do this than their home city of Liverpool.

We are pleased to announce the return of The Asylum to the Old Newsham Park Hospital in Liverpool on Saturday 28th April for a very special event that sees three of the norths clubbing powerhouses come together for one night only – Circus & Cream present Kaluki @ The Asylum. After a twelve month hiatus one of the cities most unique and atmospheric venues is opening its doors once again delivering the perfect surroundings for a night of deep house and techno bringing one of Manchester’s leading club pioneers to Liverpool for the first time.

First up and making his Asylum debut is Dubfire, as one of the scenes pioneering DJ/Producers and one half of Grammy award winning duo Deep Dish, he has remained at the forefront of electronic music over the last two decades. Joining him are one of the most indemand and hottest acts of the moment Camelphat, over the last 10 years the Liverpool duo have cemented themselves as legends of the tech-house scene and become one of the few acts to have successfully bridged the underground and the mainstream and following their recent Grammy nomination for their global hit ‘Cola’ their rise to the top continues. Continuing the sounds of the underground will be new house and techno queen Heidi plus performances from Max Chapman whose Beatport chart success has garnered accolades from the likes of Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, and Jamie Jones plus sets from Kaluki residents Pirate Copy and Pete Zorba.

The gothic building which looms over the stunning Newsham Park, was originally built in the 1800’s and throughout its history has served as an orphanage and psychiatric hospital with its more recent incarnation lending itself as the ideal clubbing backdrop. The 13 hour dance event kicks off at 2pm on the sites open air courtyard with the party continuing at the Arts Club from 10pm until 3am.

Pre-sale tickets available 9am Thursday 8th March register here www.asylumevent.com / General tickets on sale 9am Friday 9th March.

Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th May Bank Holiday weekend will see the return of the Steel Yard to the capital.   Following this year’s sell out success, the colossal 15,000 capacity superstructure is back to dominate the London skyline once again, this time taking over Finsbury Park and headlined by two of the world’s biggest electronic acts Tiësto and Above & Beyond.

After a sold out triumphant homecoming show at The O2 on Saturday night Above & Beyond kick off the dance music weekender on Saturday 26th May for what will be their biggest London show to date.  No strangers to packing out big venues, they became the first British DJ’s to sell out New York’s Madison Square Garden and after a packed house global run of shows in 2015 became the second highest grossing electronic act in the US, and in 2018 they take it to the next level at the helm of the Steel Yard.

Sunday 27th May will be headlined by one of the most prolific and enduring artists on the planet Grammy award winning DJ/Producer Tiësto.  Undoubtedly one of Holland’s biggest music exports he is one of the few artists who has conquered the house and trance worlds and led the charge in helping electronic music crossover into the mainstream.

Creamfields presents Steel Yard delivers once again bringing together two powerhouses from the dance world for their Steel Yard debut on May Bank Holiday weekend for what will be their only London dates of 2018.

The award winning Steel Yard superstructure which was designed and created exclusively for Creamfields is the largest of its kind in Europe and has gone on to revolutionise the event experience for electronic music fans.   Featuring ground breaking technology and production combined with a world class line up is what makes Steel Yard unique and has become a refreshing and exciting addition to the festival calendar.

Pre-sale tickets available from 9am Thursday 9th November sign up here www.creamfields.com/steelyardlondon .  General tickets on sale 9am Friday 10th November.
