3. Full Intention – Let Me Be feat. Robert Owens (Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix)

If you have been following our label for a while, you should know by now that we have put together a great number of very exciting collaboration teams all in the sake of creativity and talent combinations. In this new offering, we are proud to bring back on board house music UK legends Full Intention, who not so long ago graced us with an oustanding EP that left us craving for more.

Of course we are more than amazed to learn that the title track had one of the most familiar and beloved voices in House Music, Robert Owens, the man behind so many hits that we would need a whole encyclopaedia to list, who lends his vocal talent to "Let Me Be", a piano house killer with a swingy groove and an amazing flow to it, a true summer weapon.

"Nobody Knows feat. Keithen Carter" works as b-side but its also an impressive dancefloor track building over a great piano lick and a driving bassline, indeed another winner.

Our local heroes André Crom and Chi-Thanh put their own acid touch to "Let Me Be" turning it into a late night monster keeping the vocal essence alive while adding another level of intensity to it...

Grab it now, summer is here!

Early support by: Joris Voorn, Mark Knight, Groove Armada, James Zabiela, Dave Clarke, Tensnake, Crystal Fighters, Daniel Bortz, Droog, Munk, Larry Tee, Supernova, Lane 8 and many more...

Dimitri Kechagias review: Off recordings serves high quality deep house gems that are highly regarded and much respected in the house scene worldwide. On the top label from Berlin comes the magnificent UK duo Full Intention with their magnificent collaboration with the beloved singer Robert Owens called Let Me Be. The original mix has that pure deep house vibe that takes back in the early 90's days. The track has the warmth of analogue sound and is composed from very basic elements with straight forward arrangement that is of course very danceable with great hypnotic rhythm and groove that reaches the next level as a result of the fantastic Robert Owens soulful vocals. Second top track is the magical deep house beauty  Nobody Knows featuring the spoken vocals by Keithen Carter. The old school piano hooks, deep funky bassline and bouncy grooves work like a treat to transfer the listener to a sunny summery holiday destination and offer him an unforgettable sonic experience. Eargasmic sexy house music to spread love to the world. On Let Me Be, the unbeatable  Andre Crom & Chi Thanh provide the current deep house sound that is deeper, more minimal and moody with chunky grooves, deep pulsating basslines and acid layers to keep it underground. Of course Robert Owens soulful vocals shine and offer high quality values to the final outcome.#PureGold Love iT

1. Franky Rizardo – A New Recreation
2. Franky Rizardo – Touch My Soul
3. Franky Rizardo – I‘ve Got a Feeling

It’s hard to think of dutch wonderboy Franky Rizardo without inmediately associating it with his massive contributions to the Defected catalogue or his broad spectrum of mainroom hits including collaborations and remixes work for some of the most important names in the game.

This time he proves his versatil nature by submerging himself into a more underground vibe, the type we learned to love so much at OFF headquarters. We didn't take long to decide once we heard what he had in store for us, the tracks were loud, sexy and intense.

"A New Recreation" builds around an addictive r&b vocal while a driving bassline keeps the pace and a sexy xylophone type synth tells us summer is getting closer by the hour.

"Touch My Soul" has a deeper perspective with classic house chord stabs and another hypnotic vocal prancing around a massive drum machine groove.

"I’ve Got A Feeling" closes this amazing package diving even deeper with lush keys, bubbly bass and an overall feel good atmosphere.

As always, we provide a set of essential nightclub burners and warmly welcome Franky to the team!

1. Chi Thanh – Stone
2. Chi Thanh – Hotel D’Amour
3. Chi Thanh – Nocturn

Newcomer Chi Thanh returns to his home at OFF with a stunning new EP.

the title song STONE combines elements of 90s house, hypnotic vocals and even a hip-hop break is in full effect in the breakdown.

The song describes the feeling we all know to well, “getting lost in the moment, forgetting to go home, and experiencing an overdose of emotions that touch the heart, body and soul

„Hotel d'Amour“ is a sexy and deep track with a pulsating bass and a playful rhodes-line. The robotic voice is looking for love in all the wrong places to finally have some peace of mind..

„Nocturn“ is best desribed by the feeling u get when u drive through a city alone at night all the while having the arpeggios from the various synth put u into a nocturnal state of mind.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label OFF Recordings returns with the magnificent 3 tracks EP by Chi Thanh. First of all comes the exceptional Stone that will inspire you while you move and swing along with the techy grooves, the deep funky basslines, electro pop synths and amazing mesmerising vocals that have a great story to tell. It's one of those tracks that invite you to experience it rather than just simply feeling it! Hotel d'Amour is the laid back summery sun kissed track that relax your senses for a while with great funky basslines, chunky beats, robotic vocal samples, some aggressive moody sounds that contrasted with the simple but infectious little synthy that runs on top. Last but not least Nocturn starts with cool long intro but very soon the main body of the track reveals a very playful track with excellent percussion, chopped vocal samples, warm cinematic strings and very cool synths that really add character to this very urban track with 90's balearic house & UK garage influences. Beautiful package! Love iT

Dimitri Kechagias review: Straight from the cultural capital of Europe comes the ultimate deep house record label. OFF recordings from Berlin  is back in full force with something really special this week. The beloved Full Intention who keep the house flag flying for many years without selling out even for a second show to the young generation of house producers how they should do it with two very nice tracks destines to win the admiration and support of the WMC delegates. Everlasting is very cool deep tech house groover with old school flavours, old school organ riffs, great drum programming, funky jacking basslines and super cool vocals by Penny F in true underground vibe. It sounds so deep and analogue like we are still somewhere in the 90's without the evolution of computer technology and music production via computer software. The warmth remains on the massive Feel as well.  The heat is on for this top notch production that drums, funky basslines, warm piano melodies and distorted vocal samples come together to create the magic that Full Intention can only deliver in their stunning high class productions. Awesome EP from the very first kick till the last beat! #PureGold Love IT

1. Him_Self_Her – Heartstopper feat. Kieran Fowkes
2. Him_Self_Her – Heartstopper feat. Kieran Fowkes (Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix)

Leicester duo Him_Self_Her made a star appearance into the scene around 2012 with their "Gone Too Long" hit...it was all rise from then on, signed to Crosstown Rebels, favoured by Pete Tong and keeping a very steady schedule of international gigs, always with a fresh underground and sentimental approach towards music. They get into a deep analog vocal trip in this new single "Heartstopper"...a slow paced but yet killer drum groove combined with a driving bassline and acid synths make the trick while Kieran Fowkes vocals keep the hypnotic flow high.

Label boss André Crom teams up with breakthrough and one of OFF's new roster talents Chi Thanh for the remix, adding a more peak time synth bass arrangement that builds up over a strong beat section...the breakdown is killer as expected and take the vocals to a next level...

Another one for the dancefloor, bodies and minds happy again, go grab your copy!

Selected Feedbacks:

Mark E: Original is nice!
Brothers’ Vibe: Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix is fav!!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The massive deep house scene continues to grow and deliver stunning sounds that definitely are heavily influenced from the underground sound of Berlin. Off Recordings is considered to be one of the most successful record labels with superb releases. The brand new one is the magnificent Heartstopper by Him_Self_Her. The original is such a groovy deep tech house number that win your attention in a club straight away. Deep moody haunting basslines that on some moments become quite aggressive with cool chunky groovy beats and very nice breakdown with cinematic sounds and the awesome vocal on full effect. Its one of those tracks that you hear it just once and stays in your mind for long. Adre Crom & Chi Thanh remix is a wonderful alternative translation. It remains on the deep house sound but becomes more dark, techy, serious, dominating with touches of Kraftwerk synthy melodies on it. The breakdown is one of the finest we heard on deep house releases with a very unique and quite dark synthy theme that work perfectly along with the rest of the elements. #PureGold.Love iT

1.Kevin McKay – Goin’ Freak
2.Kevin McKay – Club Trax
3.Kevin McKay - Club Trax (Brett Gould Remix)

Continuing with the OFF tradition of fresh dancefloor beats and unforgettable moments, we pass the torch to a connoisseur: an experienced dj, producer and an outstanding a&r as the head of Glasgow Underground and Breastfed; Glasgow's own Kevin McKay, who makes his debut in our imprint with two chicago influenced burners ready to turn the clubs upside down.

"Goin Freak" is pretty self-explanatory, a dirty groove led by male vocals and a luscious bassline...Classic drums making the trick on a proper jacking bomb. "Club Trax" turns the funk up a notch in the bass front and tops it with a great synth work and intense breakdown.

On remix duties we have Brett Gould, from London, known for his work on Glasgow Underground and Toolroom who works his magic on "Club Trax" developing it into a Riff-Bass classic house monster with great progressions and a lot of melodic value.

Another killer release for the dancer's pleasure!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Off Spin is the top sublabel of Off Recordings and every single release so far is winner on the worldwide dancefloors. The brilliant Kevin McKay delivers real house music grooves perfect for the modern dancefloors that don't mind some old school Chicago house influences. Goin' Freak is top notch tribal tech house smasher with latin rhythm and percussion to die for. On top the cool distorted male vocals add character and unique touch to the impressive final result. If you like it dirty, naughty and underground better drop this and watch the crowds Freak Out. Club Trax is an a** shaking banger with cool acid influences, deep funky basslines and techy chunky bouncy beats while on top the cool vocal samples take you back on the good old days. Its the type of house that you simply can not resist the sexiness and the naughtiness of it.  Brett Gould is on remix duties and his approach tends to be deep house with added melodic flavours like the well known little organ melody that works like a treat for those late night sets that the crowd loves to shake it with closed eyes. 1. LEFTWING & KODY – I Know
2. LEFTWING & KODY – It Was Our

2013 has witnessed a lot of OFF's prodigal sons grow steadily into the global scene, joining new ventures and breaking a lot of boundaries. This is the case of hyperenergetic London duo Leftwing & Kody, who took the charts by storm with their impressive EP's "Bump & Flex" and then again with "You Were" becoming one of the label's favourites and later went on to release outstanding tracks and remixes on the likes of Exploited, Stil Vor Talent or Anjuna Deep while also keeping the stamina up to launch their own label Lost. We couldnt wait to have them back over here and they sure delivered with this exciting 2 track combo!

"I Know" finds them infusing their classic swinged up drums with r&b vocal licks and a bouncy driving bassline, all in their own trademark fashion with crazy build ups and an overall energetic vibe.

"It Was Our" is the second track, also deep and intense with pulsating synth bass, more of those soul vocals, a killer house beat and great key arrangements to wrap it up.

If you haven't checked this fellas yet, you are surely missing out, here's your chance to see what the buzz is all about.

Mat.Joe - "I Know" is a cool dancefloor machine!
Kruse & Nuernberg - This is a top 10 release for sure! The first track reminds me a bit of Nobody Else from Dusky. Thumbs up!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of those record labels that seems that is always on the right track is Off Recordings from Berlin, Germany. The awesome record label keeps the high levels and impress us all with the amazing choices that brings house music back where it should be and that is nice grooves, funky basslines, vocal samples and underground dirty sleazy atmosphere. I Know is an exceptional case of melodic deep tech house with nice atmosphere, the distorted soulful vocals and  the hypnotic groove that manage easily to carry you way and put you on a nice late night trip. Second must play anthem is It Was Our. Deep solid textures with tribal beats, bouncy funky basslines and great vocals that are used in their natural shape and form. Its moody, more melancholic esoteric track that definitely will go like a treat in the more progressive moments of your set. Melodic with boiling synths in the background and even acid overtones make this track a must play! Highly recommended. Love iT

Italian wonderboys Moonwalk have already been making waves with releases on Diynamic, Defected and Electronique and we are very excited to have them on the label with "Outcross", a bass driven monster with great spoken vocals and an overall disco vibe that will put everyone on their feet inmediately.

Mysterious duo EdOne & Bodden, also making their first appearance in our imprint, step to the plate with "Do It", a bass-house groovy number with shuffled up classic drums and all the right placed elements for a killer track.

Closing up the debutant front comes Trash You from London who unleashes the clap and creates an hypnotic funk peak hour groove topped with a funky bassline and very clever samples on "Watch This" and Claus Casper, who gets deep into romance and puts together "To Know You", a chilled beautiful song where the piano, pads and vocals sway in harmony creating the perfect moments.

To close the package with style we bring back our good friend Jay West, already part of the OFF family with his recent hit "Fool Me" and one of Southamerica´s favourite deep house jocks, who sends a clear statement with "Roots Are Deep", where a penetrating speech blends together with sweet rhodes chords and a deep bassline to create a mindbending atmosphere of laidback soul groove. Now a steady part of OFF´s roster, he get back with yet another impressive pair of mind blowing songs.

"The Funk" all about the groove, a live bass disco infused sample working its way with clever drum arrangements and a hip hop vocal snippet including broken beat breakdowns, crazy percussion and a live environment vibe... A dancefloor jam for sure!

On "Magic Moll" the guy get deeper and provide a piano house monster, the rolling chords get perfectly complemented with a great bassline and vocal work, a feelgood track that will do the trick in that special time of the night.

Brothers’ Vibe: “Magic Moll” works for me...

Dimitri Kechagias review: Off recordings success is a phenomenon and is not matter of luck of course. Their expertise in finding the finest artists has as a result Off recordings to be considered as must check every week label with awesome Ep's like the latest one by Purple Disco Machine. Sometimes the title describes perfectly the content and as it seems on Funk the track is exactly what it says. A huge super funky  deep tech house bubbler that has the retro old school house vibe that seems to be lost but thanks to labels like Off Recordings is back to remind us that House is a feeling and simple but infectious funky sample. Magic Moll is deeper melodic affair with old school piano chords and balearic house vibes all over it. It has certainly USA House flavour and if the USA house scene was your thing this track will become an instant favourite. Highly recommended. Love IT

The brand new by Fat Sushi is simply unmissable and must drop to any deep house set. The deep techy bassline, the dark and chunky groovy housey beats combined with haunting synths and the awesome vocal by Roland Clark. Its impossible to resist the beat of this fantastic smasher so better jack your body and let the beat control your senses. On Preaching Right Tonight the deep groovy sexy sounds continue with old school rave style samples and garage house feel to it. The preacher vocal sample is one of the finest that you can check out in house tracks. It inspires you to dance with a new perspective. Its perfect for any prime time set as it awakes the animal inside US! Awesome EP! Love IT

Robosonic has been a pivotal part of Off Recordings roster, their releases being highly expected every time and usually meaning instant dancefloor melting magic. With a hip hop and techno background and adding many frequent flyer miles with worldwide gig schedule, the pair shows no sign of stopping. This time is no exception, Cord and Sacha get back in their creative roll of sample wizardry to provide two mouth watering jams. They once again prove their love for organic sounds and reivindicate the use of the turntable as an instrument, adding that old-school vibe to their trademark beats.

Macho Madness" is quite a trip, sweet rhodes over a bouncy bassline, great sample work adding guitars and an insane speech. As always, breakdowns are intense and its impossible not to dance to the groove!

For the second track, Robosonic joins another Off family team, Mat.Joe and together they go deep into their hip hop influences again working the samples as only they could, a little disco flavor, a driving bass...All the ingredients are there for another instant classic and a respectful shout out to Detroit producer legend J Dilla, who left the game too early. Time for another huge discovery by the dedicated team of underground boogie hunters here at OFF, we now bring you the mysterious Simion, a man who made an impact by recently remixing Ben Pearce's hit "What I Might Do" with great chart success and who sent us an impressive pair of dancefloor agitators which we just couldnt resist!

It all begins with "Lost", and its all about the groove in this one, the percussive heavy drum rhythm builds up hypnotically with a massive funk bass and string stabs that do the work... This is one of those tracks that takes the party to a completely superior level of happiness.

On the flipside, Simion gets his 909 swing pants on and delivers what could only be described as a future house anthem, "Dont U" has a killer bass and diva vocals topped by a house piano lick making it absolutely irresistible.

The thing doesnt stop there, we bring our wonder boy Chi Thanh to rework it and he incoporates his organic vibe to the vocals, bringing on guitars and a new bubbly bassline to turn the track into a completely different version. A very dancefloor oriented release with ingredients for all tastes, enjoy!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label from Berlin strikes back. Off recordings presents the upcoming artist Simion and I must confess Im very impressed from his outstanding compositions. First is the very melodic and absolutely mesmerising Lost. Deep tech house vibes with percussion to die for, stunning guitar samples and strings that recall well known alternative rock group from the 80's. Its deep, funky, dreamy and one that will catch the attention straight away. Its like a Lullaby on your dancefloor. Dont You is a superb old school meets modern dancefloor with well known diva house style vocals from the past combined with deep funky sexy basslines, chunky grooves to make you jack your body along and enjoy yourself. Chi Thanh is on board and he proves once again that he is the one to watch. He transforms the track into his own deep spacious sparkling very danceable version with rock guitars that appear suddenly out of now where to inspire and bring mayhem on the dancefloor! Highly recommended and must play or quit your djing job. Love IT

UK's own Filthy Rich has proven to have a special talent when it comes to making people dance. With releases on imprints like Hot Waves, Defected and Toolroom, he has been a steady provider of groovy beats, exactly what we like here at OFF.

We are honoured to present this new EP with 3 outstanding dancefloor tracks ready to rock any discerning crowd, precisely "Rock The Disco" is the title of the first offering in this pack, a bubbly-bass jacker with a quirky vibe and classic house elements, followed by "I Wont Let You", another groover with a driving synth riff, great vocal work and an intense breakdown. "Hustle Up" closes this ep with style, with a heavy bass-synth driven track that keeps the tension high throughout the whole song in peaktime frenzy.

This is one special release designed to make the clubs go crazy, go grab it now!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most happening deep tech house record labels at the moment is of course the massive Off Recordings that never stop to impress us with high quality house that remains grounded in the roots of house but doesn't afraid some experiments as well. Filthy Rich delivers 3 must drop bombs that will expand your mind without doubts. Rock The Disco is a such an energetic funky banger that you feel obliged to run on the dancefloor and dance a long with that even if you feel tired and exhausted.  I Won't Let You is a superb deep groovy sexy tech house gem with old school diva style vocal samples and garage music influences in it. It is so soulful and sounds so retro that  you can even think that was  produced in basements away from super fast computers and software that can make you soulless musician. Last but not least on Hustle Up things are going darker, more moody and 80's electro pop friendly with some disco elements as well. Great vocal samples placed on all the right moments to push the track even further and keep the dancefloor electrified. This EP is a must have or better do another job. Love IT

OFF welcomes once again a new member to the family. Little introduction is needed for a tech-house groundbreaker like Jay Lumen, already owner of several number 1 records and with an amazing catalogue of hits on labels like Suara, Cadenza, Great Stuff or Ministry Of Sound. This time he comes together with a 3-track belter, every one of them packed with dancefloor energy and frenzy.

"Nobody" starts the package with a phat jackin beat and a dope garage-sque bassline topped with housy stabs and diva vocals followed by a more techy

"To Be Different", a peak hour tool with a very intense breakdown.

Last comes "So Long Sunshine", another bass-house killer with crazy stabs and synths, groovy bassline and another breakdown for the books.

All peaktime essentials you cant miss!"

Dimitri Kechagias review: Jay Lumen is a such a wonderful talent. An exceptional dj & producer with deep knowledge and incredible quality. His tech house music has the groove to make you move and keep the dancefloor packed and occupied for the whole night long. Great application of disco house samples, vocal house samples, moody funky basslines and sexy groove that you are obliged to shake your body along with it! 3 must have's, 3 equally damaging sonic weapons for any modern house floors! Highly recommended. Love iT
