One of the most iconic trance records of all time Misjah and Tim’s “Access” was an abnormally big hit when first released on X-Trax in 1995 – a gritty acid monster that drew support from DJs from across the board.

Pitched down at glitzy house nights in Ibiza or pitched up at underground techno / trance nights like Final Frontier at Club UK – “Access” was colossal and instantly recognisable from the first hit of the signature stab that runs throughout. From the over ground John Kelly or Jeremy Healy through to the uber cool underground Dave Clarke or Westbam – everyone played this record.

And here she is – back again on Perfecto Fluoro with a slick 2014 reworking by 140 gangster John Askew.

Early support from key players Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, John O’Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Sean Tyas and Mark Sherry.

It’s a great big acid bath and we’re inviting you to pop your clothes on the chair and join us.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the largest anthems in trance history is of course the dynamic acid trance bulldozer Access by Dj Misjah & Dj Tim. So clean cut aggressive in your face record that was produced to make the crowd go ballistic. I still remember great djs playing it in London and how desperately I was searching to find out what is the name of this superb track that had great energy and rhythm without the need of distinctive melody. Back in the days I was buying the top Reactivate compilations and when I discover this banger that was included on one of them I was so super glad and of course I played it on my radio show many times. Now Perfecto Fluoro presents John Askew translation of this early trance hymn. The trancemaster Askew does what he knows best and that is to bring uptodate the track without loosing its original flavour. With rougher and tougher foundation of bouncy drums, metallic energetic basslines and on top the manic wild and fierce acid layer that can drive the crowd insane. The breakdown resembles the original with that wonderful dark and moody atmosphere with the acid riff coming slowly to the surface and suddenly out of nowhere the cheering male voice screams along with the chopped female vocal. When the ruthless bass strikes back we are on board for a larger than life unforgettable experience packed with aggressive energy that raises tension and intensity to the maximum. Trance heaven is a place on earth and John once again proves why he is considered to be one of the most prolific figures in the trance scene as dj, producer or label and artist manager. Access is back!ohhhhh ehhhhh ouiiiiiiii! #PureGold Love It

1-Plush(Original mix)

Press release: John is a massive satchel. I have the misfortune of sharing an office with him. He keeps insisting that Perfecto Fluoro is a Goa trance label that doesn’t release 140 but guess what?

When my back is turned he goes and sneaks a 140 track into the schedule. Honestly – I have never met a more hypocritical bell end in all my life.

Still, if John’s style of music floats your boat and you enjoyed his recent productions (Commander Tom “Are am Eye” remix, JOC “Stresstest” remix, Empirion “Narcotic Influence” remix or his single “Shine” etc etc) then I guess you may like this one.

When I asked John to describe the sound of this record he said “it sounds the same as all my other s*** but this time it has the added bonus of people having sex all the way through it”.

In true egotistical style there are no remixes.

Dimitri Kechagias review: John Askew is considered to be one of those figures that played a very important role in the development of what we call UK trance sound. As producer, dj, label manager at Perfecto records, John Askew is always at the forefront supporting the scene to grow by remaining true to his ideals and beliefs without selling out. John Askew was, is and will always be an underground baron in the trance community. His latest track on Perfecto Fluoro is going definitely to rock the trance tents at the big summer festivals. Its called Plush and is exactly what you expect to get from this super talented artist. Underground dark tech trance meets uplifting with some Psy Goa elements in it as well.  Plush is a powerful hard trancer with super solid tough kick, pulsating vibrating driving sharp as knife bassline and on top various hi-nrg synthy layers plus some female and male moaning vocal samples that we assume should be from listeners who use their trance music as soundtrack in their bedtime adventures. The breakdown is absolutely mouthwatering sonic experience with beautiful melodies, great synthy plucks and even dreamy singing vocals combined with moaning and other spoken vocal samples that create an eargasmic sonic soundscape to say the least. The climax is straight forward pumping pounding energetic hard trancer of the highest quality with added dreamy synthy layers here and there keeping it solid and rough to the bone. Excellently balanced banger that is going to rock the dancefloors and summer festivals! Make Love Not WAR! Lets give peace a chance! #PureGold Love IT

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the hottest trance labels at the moment is Silent Shore records with many massive anthems under its belt. Now the brilliant Airborn presents the uplifting trance smasher Virage. The original mix is a powerful and highly energetic pumping trancer with emotional piano melody in the breakdown that is followed by huge burst of  rave style distorted  synths that lead the track to its uplifting hands in the air feel good climax. Virage has the world anthem written all over it and hands will remain in the air for long. UDM transforms the original into an even larger uplifting trance banger that utilise in the finest possible direction the original elements in order to offer to all the pure uplifting trance fans the finest sonic experience. Powerful, dynamic with sensitive and fragile breakdown with cinematic atmosphere followed by the warped synthy lead that will bring goosebumps for sure. The build up towards the climax comes thick and fast and you can be sure that words will be difficult to describe the rush of euphoria, intensity and energy you feel when the banging beat is back and will take you on board for an unforgettable epic hands in the air journey. Amos & Riot Night deliver much more UK tranc style version with acid overtones and use of little pianos and synths from the main melody. The breakdown remains dreamy and cinematic with different piano theme, opera style vocals and fantastic build up towards the uplifting full on trance experience. Its much more straight forward and without big synthy leads in the breakdown. Overall is top package not to be missed. Love iT

'Fire Exit' is the brand new release from Polish trance producer, Matt Eray.

A surge of energy from start to finish, 'Fire Exit' has everything you'd expect from a Digital Society Recordings release! Layered with high octane acids, an earth shattering bassline and a driving kickdrum, Matt Eray has created a dynamite track, fuelled up and ready to explode on the dancefloor!

This is one release you don't want to miss!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The stunning record label Digital Society recordings presents the fantastic trance anthem Fire Exit by the sure hands of Matt Eray. We deal here with a powerful energetic peak time uplifting trancer that stays on the underground UK trance sound that we know from top producers like John Askew or Activa for instance. Full on uplifting banger with heavy bone crashing drum beats, sharp kicks, basslines that drive the track to oblivion and acid overtones that add that dirty filthy edge to it that is contrasted with the euphoric feel good synths. The breakdown is very emotional with plucky synths and chord progression that echoes the classic Paul van Dyk sound. The climax is rough and edgy but the darkness is neutralised from the positive colourful light of the synths. If you play the classic UK uplifting trance style you gonna enjoy Fire Exit. Love IT
