EBENEZER are here to carve out their own lane in forward-thinking club music. The collaborative project of Ruben de Ronde and Estiva pushes the intensity further, delivering their first brilliant EP with driving, high-energy cuts built for peak-time moments. Razor-sharp percussion, rolling basslines, and a euphoric lift collide in tracks that balance raw power with emotional release. The Colorblind EP solidifies EBENEZER’s sound as both uncompromising and refined, primed for big stages and late-night club floors alike. The five-track package includes their brand-new vocal anthem "Colorblind" alongside Sarah de Warren, as well as the heavy-hitting underground club cuts "Lovlee On My Skin," "Falls," "Heaven," and "ArenA".

Bringing a wealth of industry expertise to the project is Ruben de Ronde, a highly celebrated Dutch DJ, producer, and a foundational pillar of the global trance community. Widely recognized as the long-standing co-host of Armin van Buuren’s globally influential A State of Trance (ASOT) radio show, Ruben has spent nearly two decades shaping the electronic music landscape. As an astute A&R manager for Armada Music and the mastermind behind his own progressive imprint, Statement! Recordings, he has consistently balanced a busy international touring schedule with a reputation for pristine, atmospheric studio engineering.

Complementing this sonic vision is Estiva (Steven Baan), a pioneering force in progressive house and melodic techno. Since breaking into the international circuit in 2006, the Netherlands-native has evolved from a bedroom producer into a globally touring mainstay with high-profile releases on standard-bearing labels like Anjunabeats, Colorize, and Enhanced Recordings. Revered for his ability to weave deep, hypnotic grooves with sophisticated, emotionally charged melodies, Estiva’s intricate sound design and club-ready instincts serve as the perfect counterweight in this thrilling new alliance. Together under the EBENEZER banner, these two veterans strip away the boundaries of their solo sounds to unlock a ferocious, warehouse-ready energy.

[item value="10"]EBENEZER - Colorblind EP [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]EBENEZER's Colorblind EP marks a triumphant entry into the world of cutting-edge melodic progressive trance, and the title track featuring Sarah de Warren exemplifies the meticulous craftsmanship behind the project. The track’s rhythm and groove lock in immediately, driven by a tightly produced 128 BPM foundation of pulsating basslines and thumping kicks. The percussion, both razor-sharp and dynamically layered, ensures that the energy flow and transitions maintain an irresistible momentum, perfectly suited for peak-time club moments and festival main stages. Each melodic hook and harmonic layer is carefully interwoven, creating an immersive soundstage that balances euphoria with a sense of emotional release. The drops and build-ups are not only technically pristine but also engineered to maximize crowd reaction, with their tension and resolution designed for seamless cueing and looping in live DJ sets. The production demonstrates a masterful use of sound design and spatial effects. Wide stereo imaging and delicately measured reverbs create a sense of atmospheric immersion that allows the vocal line to soar with clarity, while still maintaining rich harmonic content in the background. The dynamic range is expertly balanced, allowing for high loudness levels without causing listener fatigue, and each element of the arrangement contributes to a cohesive storytelling arc. The track’s structure, with its thoughtfully designed intro and outro, ensures BPM consistency and easy synchronization in multi-track environments, catering perfectly to professional DJs. The use of effects—filters, delays, and subtle modulation—enhances the track’s identity, demonstrating creativity and originality while maintaining club functionality. From a human perspective, Colorblind offers more than just dancefloor energy. Scientific studies, such as those by Thoma et al. (2013) and Schäfer et al. (2013), have shown that music with rhythmic predictability, uplifting melodies, and emotionally expressive vocals can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and enhance cognitive performance. The euphoric drops and emotionally resonant vocals of Colorblind can positively impact mental health by triggering dopamine release, often associated with pleasurable musical experiences (Salimpoor et al., 2011). Its steady rhythm and energetic flow also make it highly suitable for fitness and wellness classes, where synchronized movement with music has been shown to increase motivation and endurance (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). By combining technical excellence with emotional depth, EBENEZER’s work enhances not just the dancefloor experience but also contributes to overall well-being. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

[item value="10"]Grum & Amba Shepherd - Slow Motion [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Grum & Amba Shepherd’s collaboration “Slow Motion” represents a masterful return to Anjunabeats, delivering a 132 BPM progressive trance experience that fuses melodic techno and progressive house elements into a cohesive sonic journey. The track’s rhythm and groove are immediately captivating, with its dirty moody basslines and chunky kicks providing a firm foundation that propels the record forward. The bouncy percussion and tightly locked drive ensure a kinetic energy that translates seamlessly to club and festival environments, where synchronization and BPM consistency are crucial for DJs. Each drop, build-up, and transition is sculpted with precision, allowing the energy flow to rise and fall in a way that maintains momentum while offering moments of euphoric release. The production is equally remarkable for its melodic hooks and harmonic layers; Grum’s synth work pairs lush, cinematic strings with expansive leads, while subtle harmonics and pads create a sense of depth and immersion. Amba Shepherd’s vocal performance sits perfectly atop the mix, her ethereal tone carrying emotional resonance that complements the instrumental storytelling. The arrangement is original yet highly functional, with clear intro and outro structures for DJ use, well-placed cue points, and loop-friendly segments that make it adaptable for live sets. Spatial design and the use of effects are evident in the careful panning, reverbs, and delay trails that give the mix a three-dimensional feel, while the dynamic range strikes an optimal balance between loudness and clarity, ensuring that the track maintains its impact without fatigue. From a wellness and mental health perspective, “Slow Motion” offers measurable benefits that align with research into music’s effect on human physiology and psychology. Studies, such as those published in Frontiers in Psychology (Chanda & Levitin, 2013), highlight how rhythmic and melodic music can reduce stress by modulating cortisol levels and increasing dopamine release. The track’s hypnotic pulse and uplifting harmonic structure make it an ideal accompaniment for fitness classes and flow-based workouts, enhancing motivation through entrainment of heart rate and movement. In group wellness settings like yoga or meditation-infused dance classes, the track’s immersive atmosphere and emotional storytelling can foster a sense of shared presence and mental clarity, as supported by research in Music & Science (Fancourt & Finn, 2019). Its uplifting qualities and replay value may also contribute to improved mood, cognitive focus, and post-exercise recovery. In live performance scenarios, “Slow Motion” has demonstrated strong crowd reaction potential, tested extensively by Grum across U.S. shows in 2025–2026 and supported by Above & Beyond in key festival appearances. Its dynamic energy and cohesive narrative make it a genuine peak-time selection, and its creativity and artistic identity reinforce Grum and Amba Shepherd’s reputations as forward-thinking contributors to the progressive trance landscape. By achieving excellence in sound design, emotional connection, and structural originality, the track not only performs exceptionally across all production and DJ criteria but also offers a scientifically supported positive impact on listeners’ mental and physical well-being.#PureGold Loveit [/content]

Kloset, the solo alias of Station To Station’s Fabio Congia, releases his melodic house remix of Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘Carry Me Home’, marking the first official remix of this beloved single from the trio’s most recent studio album, ‘Bigger Than All Of Us’.

‘Carry Me Home’ sees Above & Beyond reconnect with longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston, who has been working closely with the trio since the 2004 classic ‘No One On Earth’.
“We've been working with her for 22 years now, so she's a part of the band.” explains Above & Beyond. "By that token, a song with her vocals is a very reassuring thing for our audience."
Over the course of Above & Beyond’s 130,000-ticket North American amphitheatre and club tour, their followup 13-date European and UK tour and their most recent India dates, ‘Carry Me Home’ cemented itself as the new fan favourite song, and as a standout from the album, with the euphoric chorus prompting impressive crowd singalongs from London to San Diego.

Above & Beyond’s 2026 worldwide tour dates take them back to Australia, their milestone Group Therapy 700 celebration at The Gorge Amphitheatre and sees them headline Anjunadeep Open Air shows in South Africa with Deep Sets. The trio have handed remix duties to Kloset to provide his signature melodic and emotional style on the vocal trance hit.
“When I first heard ‘Carry Me Home’, I immediately connected with it," explains Kloset. “I wanted my remix to preserve the heart of the original while bringing in my own perspective.” He adds, “I focused on the groove and emotional core, reinterpreting the track in a way that aligns with my sound.”
Station To Station have made a big impression in a short space of time after receiving widespread support from Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, and Solarstone to name a few. The Kloset alias provides a home for a wide range of Fabio’s own productions, from hard-hitting trance to deeper cuts like ‘Hunky’, which was released on Anjunadeep Explorations last year after debuting in Above & Beyond’s ABGT600 ‘Deep Warm Up Set’ in Xochimilco, Mexico City.

Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston ‘Carry Me Home’ (Kloset Remix) is out now on Anjunabeats.

[item value="10"]Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston - Carry Me Home (Kloset Remix) [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s “Carry Me Home (Kloset Remix)” is a masterclass in emotional progressive trance with deep melodic house and techno elements, clocking in at a smooth 125 BPM. From the first few bars, the track establishes a hypnotic rhythm immersed in a delicate yet driving groove, allowing the energy to flow seamlessly throughout its structure. The groove is underpinned by a meticulously crafted low-end that maintains perfect balance across the dynamic range, giving the listener a sense of forward motion while keeping the mix crystal clear. This rhythmic precision contributes to its strong club and festival suitability, with every kick and percussion hit carefully positioned to ensure excellent cueing potential and loop-friendly sections for DJs. The melodic hooks and harmonic layers unfold with a subtle, progressive elegance. Kloset’s production choices highlight Zoë Johnston’s ethereal vocal performance, enhancing the emotional resonance of the track without overwhelming its instrumental core. The careful layering of pads, arpeggios, and harmonic swells creates a rich spatial design that immerses the listener while maintaining cohesion and storytelling. The transitions, build-ups, and drops are fluid yet dynamic, making the track highly adaptable to different set contexts by preserving BPM consistency and ensuring a smooth energy arc. Sound design decisions, from the warm analog-style synths to the shimmering high-end effects, demonstrate a commitment to production quality and originality of arrangement, keeping the track both creative and true to its artistic identity. From a wellness and mental health perspective, “Carry Me Home (Kloset Remix)” has several scientifically supported benefits. Research in music therapy and neurology demonstrates that repetitive, rhythmically engaging music can enhance mood regulation, reduce stress, and promote mental clarity (Thoma et al., 2013). The uplifting harmonic progressions and soft vocal textures can trigger a release of dopamine, which is essential for feelings of pleasure and reward (Salimpoor et al., 2011). Additionally, its 125 BPM tempo aligns well with moderate cardiovascular exercise and is ideal for wellness classes like yoga, cycling, and dance-based fitness, as studies show that music with consistent rhythmic drive can improve exercise adherence and perceived effort levels (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). The track’s hypnotic quality also supports mindfulness and flow states, which have been linked to improved cognitive function and reduced anxiety. Overall, the Kloset Remix of “Carry Me Home” achieves an exceptional level of synergy between technical mastery and emotional storytelling. Its cohesive arrangement, pristine sound design, and infectious energy ensure high replay value and strong crowd reaction potential, while its therapeutic and fitness-friendly properties make it not only a dancefloor weapon but also a track that positively impacts human well-being. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

Oliver Smith has established himself as a driving force in electronic music and performed at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world. With a wide array of releases and multiple aliases under his belt, the London-based DJ and producer is part of the fabric of Anjunabeats, being both the first signing to the record label and the only artist (other than label bosses Above & Beyond) to have featured on all 16 of the label's beloved 'Volume' compilations.

Now, Oliver Smith releases a package of club mixes from his debut studio album, 'Footprints'. The new EP includes a floorfilling rework of 'Love Is A Feeling', as well as head-turning remixes of 'Wash Away' and 'Breathe' from Phillip Castle and Shawn Mitiska.

Canadian DJ and producer Phillip Castle has seen strong support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Kyau & Albert and more. Hailing from Toronto, Phillip is known for his heavy basslines and euphoric melodies, with a catalogue spanning labels like Enhanced, Future Sound Of Egypt and Find Your Harmony.

Shawn Mitiska is a Denver-based DJ and producer renowned for his melodic sensibilities and emotive productions. Also releasing under the alias 'Mitiska', Shawn is a three time International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) nominated artist with a career spanning over two decades. In 2009, as one third of Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren, he released the trance anthem 'Man On The Run’ with Dash Berlin, which has since been streamed millions of times worldwide.

Released last year, ‘Footprints’ takes listeners on a captivating journey through Oliver’s evolution as an artist. The timeless and hotly anticipated debut album is one of the top requested Anjunabeats releases to date, and is the culmination of a songwriting process that began several years ago.
“I’ve been releasing music for years, but my own album always took a backseat,” Oliver says. “When I finally started the project I had so many ideas and was unsure where to begin. I decided to embrace the process and let the destination reveal itself. This inspired ‘Footprints’, the title for the album, as even the tracks that didn’t make it left an imprint, and were a necessary part of the journey.”
There’s echoes of all eras of Oliver’s sound on ‘Footprints’, from addictive bassline-driven tracks like ‘Legacy’ and ‘Be The One', to stylings of his Anjunadeep alias Meramek in the house-leaning ‘Love Is A Feeling’, and the soaring trance arps in ‘Don't Hold Back’ and ‘Breathe’. The album also sees Oliver collaborate with an eclectic cast of vocalists and songwriters, including Tailor, FARLEY, Benjamin Roustaing and Susie Ledge.
“I wanted to go beyond club music and tell real stories, so I collaborated with some incredible singers and songwriters who brought a whole new dimension to the project,” Oliver says. “I put a lot of thought into making sure every track had something special and truly deserved its place on the album. I think people will recognise the thread that connects all my releases, and hopefully, they’ll enjoy the new directions I’ve explored as well.”
‘Footprints’ also follows a string of hits in recent years that have cemented Oliver’s position at the forefront of dance music. Fan favourites like ‘Lovingly’, ‘Warehouse’ and ‘Be Alone’ rapidly ascended the Beatport charts and added to a discography that’s amassed over 20 million streams to date. In 2018, Oliver mixed the ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 08’ compilation, which included ten of his own productions and reached the #1 spot on the iTunes dance chart in the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia.

[item value="10"]Oliver Smith - Footprints (Club Mixes) [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Oliver Smith’s “Footprints (Club Mixes)” EP is a masterclass in modern trance production, exemplifying technical precision and emotive resonance across every aspect of its creation. From the opening bars of “Love Is A Feeling” in its 130 BPM rework, the track demonstrates exceptional rhythm, groove, and drive, with a pulsating low-end that propels the listener forward while maintaining a consistent BPM for seamless integration into club and festival sets. The melodic hooks and harmonic layers are meticulously crafted, intertwining lush pads with euphoric leads that evoke a strong sense of atmosphere and immersion, while the transitions, drops, and build-ups are executed with surgical precision, ensuring energy flow and momentum remain unbroken throughout. The sound design and production quality are of the highest caliber, with Oliver Smith and his collaborators Phillip Castle and Shawn Mitiska employing a rich palette of spatial effects, stereo imaging, and dynamic range management to achieve both clarity and power. Castle’s 128 BPM euphoric proglifting remix showcases an impeccable loudness balance and spatial design, while Mitiska’s 130 BPM reimagining delivers a potent club weapon with inventive use of effects, cue points, and loop potential that maximize crowd reaction potential. Each track maintains originality in arrangement and structure, reflecting a cohesive artistic identity and storytelling arc that will resonate deeply with both long-time trance listeners and new audiences alike. From a scientific perspective, research in music therapy indicates that rhythmic and harmonically rich electronic dance music can have positive effects on mood, mental health, and cognitive performance (Thoma et al., 2013; Koelsch, 2010). The dynamic energy and emotional resonance of “Footprints (Club Mixes)” make it particularly suitable for fitness and wellness classes, where sustained BPM and immersive harmonic layers support flow states, physical endurance, and stress reduction. Studies suggest that music with consistent rhythmic patterns and euphoric tonal progressions can enhance endorphin release and elevate perceived effort in exercise settings (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012), which aligns perfectly with the uplifting and motivational qualities of Oliver Smith’s tracks. By integrating high-level sound design, cohesive storytelling, and scientifically beneficial rhythmic structures, this release exemplifies not just a peak in trance production, but also a soundtrack that positively impacts human mental and physical well-being. The EP’s perfect balance of technical mastery and emotional depth ensures high catchiness, replay value, and unparalleled club and festival suitability. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

[item value="10"]Raz Nitzan & Jo Cartwright - A Quiet Heartache [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Raz Nitzan and Jo Cartwright’s A Quiet Heartache is a masterclass in modern melodic house production, perfectly combining the emotional weight of heartfelt vocals with a meticulously crafted soundscape. From the first beat at 122 BPM, the track exudes a rhythmic consistency that allows it to flow seamlessly in both club and wellness settings. The groove is carefully sculpted with deep, pulsating basslines and thumping, controlled kicks that drive the energy forward, while the percussion layers add a subtle, infectious swing. Each transition and build-up is executed with precision, using evolving harmonic layers and dynamic drops that maintain momentum without ever feeling forced. The cohesive energy flow ensures that whether it’s used in a DJ set or a meditative fitness class, the track holds attention and uplifts the listener. The melodic hooks and harmonic structures in A Quiet Heartache demonstrate the duo’s exceptional understanding of musical storytelling. Spatial effects and reverb create a three-dimensional atmosphere, immersing the listener in a sonic journey that feels both intimate and expansive. Jo Cartwright’s vocals are given generous room to shine, floating over the instrumental with emotional resonance that establishes a strong psychological connection. The careful use of spectral balancing ensures that each frequency sits in its place, and the dynamic range is maintained for an impactful yet non-fatiguing listening experience. The originality of the arrangement, paired with its high production value, makes it suitable for repeated plays, whether in a private setting or as part of a festival set. From a wellness perspective, tracks like A Quiet Heartache have profound positive effects on mental and emotional health. Research has shown that melodic and harmonic music with steady rhythmic pulses can reduce anxiety, improve mood, and even synchronize brainwaves with a calming effect (Thoma et al., 2013; Zatorre & Salimpoor, 2013). The emotional storytelling of the track, supported by its smooth energy transitions and captivating sound design, makes it effective in stress-relief sessions, yoga flows, and low-impact fitness classes. Additionally, the track’s BPM range aligns with moderate heart rate stimulation, which studies suggest can enhance focus and motivation in exercise and meditative practices (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). By encouraging both mental clarity and emotional release, A Quiet Heartache demonstrates the power of electronic music as both a creative and therapeutic tool. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

[item value="10"]Steve Brian x Epilogus - De Magia Vitae [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Steve Brian and Epilogus have crafted a progressive trance masterpiece with “De Magia Vitae,” a track that achieves technical perfection across all dimensions of modern electronic music production. At 130 BPM, the track sustains a proglifting energy that is both invigorating and emotionally immersive. The rhythm section is flawlessly tight, featuring punchy kicks and thumping drum patterns that maintain a consistent groove and smooth momentum throughout the track’s runtime. The pulsating basslines are expertly mixed to provide a solid foundation, while the intricate percussive layers enhance the overall drive without overcrowding the spectrum. Melodically, “De Magia Vitae” shines with its luminous harmonic layers and emotive progressions. The synth work is warm and tender, evoking a sense of euphoria that resonates deeply on a psychological level, while the carefully interwoven melodic hooks ensure a high replay value. The transitions are seamless, with builds and drops that elevate tension organically and deliver cathartic releases perfectly suited for both club and festival environments. The extended mix demonstrates Steve Brian and Epilogus’s mastery of arrangement, offering DJs ample cue points, loop potential, and energy variations that maintain dynamic flow in a set. From a production standpoint, the track is a textbook example of modern trance engineering. The sound design is crystalline and balanced, with excellent use of spatial effects that create a three-dimensional mix environment. The dynamic range is preserved even as the track achieves commercial loudness standards, preventing listener fatigue. Every element—from the ambient pads to the bright lead arpeggios—sits precisely in the mix, reinforcing the coherence and storytelling that characterizes the piece. Beyond the technical aspects, “De Magia Vitae” positively influences mental and physical well-being. Research in music therapy and neuroscience indicates that rhythmic and harmonic structures in uplifting trance can improve mood, enhance focus, and reduce perceived stress (Levitin, 2006; Thoma et al., 2013). The energetic yet emotionally comforting qualities of the track make it ideal for wellness and fitness classes, as it promotes movement synchronization and elevates endorphin levels during exercise (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). Additionally, the immersive soundscape contributes to flow states, fostering mindfulness and emotional release, which are key benefits in dance and mental health practices. In sum, “De Magia Vitae” is not only a technical triumph in progressive trance production but also a track with tangible positive impacts on human wellness. Its perfect scores across rhythm, melodic content, transitions, sound design, and emotional resonance affirm its status as a modern classic that seamlessly bridges the artistic and physiological potential of electronic music. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

Simon Gregory remixes Super8 & Tab and SØNIN's 'Black Is The New Yellow'.

Miika Eloranta and Janne Manserus, aka Super8 & Tab, have been part of our family for over 20 years. They began collaborating on music in 2005, and the magic was instant. The likes of ‘Black Is The New Yellow’, ‘Helsinki Scorchin’ and ‘Irufushi’ have stood the test of time. In 2007, the duo remixed Above & Beyond’s Tranquility Base classic ‘Oceanic’, and in 2020, they delivered a mix for the 20 Years of Anjunabeats compilation series.

With over a decade of production experience with some of dance music's biggest names, SØNIN is no stranger to breaking into the charts. The Finnish producer's tracks ‘Passion’ and ‘Nano’ skyrocketed to #1 in the Beatport Top 100 Trance charts, and in recent years, his releases have gained support from industry heavyweights like Armin van Buuren, Jason Ross, Ferry Corsten, W&W and many more.

Now, Simon Gregory remixes Super8 & Tab and SØNIN's celebrated track 'Black Is The New Yellow'. Originally released on Anjunabeats in 2010, 'Black Is The New Yellow' soon became a fan favourite. Hailing from the UK, Simon Gregory made his Anjunabeats debut in 2022 with his collaboration with Nitrous Oxide, ‘Fusion,’ and made a welcome return to the label last year with 'Ah Funk It'.

[item value="10"]Super8 & Tab and SØNIN - Black Is The New Yellow (Simon Gregory Remix) [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Simon Gregory’s remix of Super8 & Tab and SØNIN’s classic “Black Is The New Yellow” is a masterclass in proglifting trance production that achieves a perfect synthesis of technical excellence and emotional impact. Opening at a driving 132 BPM, the track wastes no time establishing a commanding rhythm with pulsating basslines, tight percussive layers, and well-calibrated kicks that anchor the groove. Each element of the rhythm section interacts seamlessly, creating an irresistible drive that propels the listener forward while maintaining impeccable BPM consistency and sync reliability for professional DJ sets. The melodic architecture is equally compelling, as Gregory weaves the iconic hooks of the original into a rich tapestry of harmonic layers, using expansive pads, shimmering arpeggios, and evolving lead synths to deliver waves of euphoria that make the drops and build-ups feel both natural and eruptive. The production techniques employed here are a testament to Gregory’s refined skill set. Transitions between sections are fluid and precise, with careful modulation, filter sweeps, and spatial effects creating a sense of journey that invites deep immersion. The sound design demonstrates high-level sculpting, with each instrument occupying its own frequency space, resulting in a balanced mix with excellent dynamic range and loudness control. Creative use of reverb and stereo imaging enhances the spatial dimension, giving the track an enveloping, almost cinematic presence when heard on a club system. Notably, the distorted synths introduced in the climax contrast brilliantly with the euphoric lead motifs, heightening emotional resonance and ensuring memorable crowd reactions. The arrangement respects both club and festival environments, offering DJs flexible intro and outro structures, clear cue points, and looping potential without sacrificing artistic identity. Beyond its technical merits, “Black Is The New Yellow” (Simon Gregory Remix) has demonstrable positive effects on mental health and physical wellness. Scientific studies have shown that exposure to high-energy electronic music at moderate to high BPM can increase dopamine and endorphin release, enhancing mood and motivation (Thoma et al., 2013; Chanda & Levitin, 2013). This makes the track particularly effective for fitness and wellness classes, as its steady, uplifting energy pattern supports rhythmic movement, promotes cardiovascular engagement, and fosters a sense of flow state during exercise. Furthermore, trance music’s repetitive structures and immersive harmonic layering have been associated with meditative and stress-reducing effects, providing psychological benefits in both active and passive listening contexts (Hodges, 2009). The remix’s ability to inspire “hands in the air” euphoria while maintaining structural coherence exemplifies how music can bridge entertainment with holistic well-being. In conclusion, Simon Gregory’s reimagining of this beloved Anjunabeats classic is not only a technical triumph but also a track with meaningful positive impacts on listeners, from energizing workouts to enhancing mental wellness. Its flawless execution across rhythm, melody, sound design, and emotional engagement ensures that it will remain a standout addition to trance playlists, fitness classes, and festival stages alike. #PureGold Loveit [/content]

Tiësto has officially released his highly anticipated new single, ‘Beautiful Places’, featuring the ethereal vocals of Brieanna Grace. Dropping today via Musical Freedom, the track marks a significant milestone as the second official single of his high profile rebrand back into the world of trance.

Following the momentum of ‘Bring Me To Life’, this latest release confirms that the Dutch icon is moving full steam ahead with his new sonic direction. For those who have been following his ‘Prismatic’ radio show or caught his recent live performances, the melody will feel like a familiar friend. Tiësto has been teasing ‘Beautiful Places’ in his sets for months, most notably debuting it during his headline trance performance at Dreamstate SoCal last November.

What makes ‘Beautiful Places’ stand out is its ability to feel fresh while paying homage to the genre that built Tiësto’s legacy. Unlike some of his more commercial recent works that can occasionally feel formulaic, this track feels genuinely unique. The sound choices are impeccable, blending modern production crispness with the soaring, emotional builds that define classic trance.

The collaboration with Brieanna Grace is a masterstroke. Her evocative lyricism and intricate vocal delivery provide the perfect emotional anchor for the track’s driving energy. This is a core piece of the puzzle for Tiësto’s upcoming trance focused album, successfully bridging the gap between his legendary past and the future of the genre.

[item value="10"]Tiësto With Brieanna Grace - Beautiful Places [/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Tiësto’s collaboration with Brieanna Grace on “Beautiful Places” stands as an exemplary showcase of modern trance production, delivering a track that is both technically sophisticated and deeply moving. From the very first moments, the rhythm and groove are meticulously structured to engage listeners and dancers alike. The driving kick and bassline create a sense of propulsion that underpins the entire composition, offering a solid foundation for the melodic elements to unfold. The energy flow is carefully maintained through nuanced layering, and the groove evolves organically, ensuring that the track sustains momentum without ever feeling repetitive. The melodic hooks and harmonic layers are a standout feature, with lush pads and arpeggiated synths interweaving to form a rich harmonic tapestry. The main melody achieves a rare duality: it is both euphoric and tinged with a haunting depth, resonating emotionally without veering into predictability. Transitions and build-ups are executed with surgical precision, utilizing automation and filter sweeps to generate anticipation before each drop. These moments are not merely functional but emotionally charged, intensifying the audience’s experience and making each release of energy cathartic and memorable. Sound design and production quality demonstrate Tiësto’s mastery of modern studio techniques. Every element sits perfectly in the mix, with a remarkable dynamic range that preserves both the impact of the peaks and the subtlety of the quieter passages. Spatial design is particularly noteworthy; reverbs and delays are sculpted to create an immersive, three-dimensional soundstage that envelops the listener, enhancing the track’s transportive quality. Originality in the arrangement is evident, as Tiësto balances classic trance motifs with contemporary production flourishes. The track avoids formulaic tendencies, instead offering unique phrasing and unexpected structural turns that keep the listener engaged throughout. The emotional resonance of the track is amplified by Brieanna Grace’s ethereal vocal performance, whose delivery is both tender and powerful. Her lyrics, imbued with hope and introspection, serve as the emotional anchor of the piece, and their integration into the instrumental landscape is seamless. Scientifically, music of this nature has been shown to positively influence mental health and wellness; studies indicate that euphoric and harmonically rich music can stimulate dopamine release, promote emotional regulation, and reduce stress levels (Thoma et al., 2013; Koelsch, 2014). For fitness and wellness classes, “Beautiful Places” offers a perfect blend of steady BPM consistency and uplifting melodic energy, making it ideal for enhancing motivation during cardiovascular or yoga flow sessions. The track’s dynamic energy also aligns well with research on music-induced exercise adherence, as rhythmic entrainment can improve perceived exertion and enjoyment (Karageorghis & Priest, 2012). Beyond its technical brilliance, “Beautiful Places” demonstrates Tiësto’s enduring artistic identity and his ability to create music that resonates across contexts—from festival main stages to personal wellness routines. Its cohesion and storytelling ensure that each musical phrase contributes to an overarching journey, while its club and festival suitability is beyond question given its strategic drops and euphoric peaks. The result is a track that not only captivates audiences but also offers measurable positive effects on human well-being, cementing its status as an instant classic in Tiësto’s evolving catalog. #PureGold Loveit[/content]
