The next Armin van Buuren classic to get reimagined, 2008’s ‘In And Out Of Love’ is drawn into the underground by German artist Innellea. Captained by Sharon Den Adel near-operatic vocals, detuned synths and a rolling bass groove, this rendition will resonate strongly with those who reside in the darkest corners of the club.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon den Adel beloved global smash In And Out Of Love returns with the awesome Innellea Remix. The brand new version moves within the realms of deep melodic progressive and what we term as melodic techno or deep trance. Siskin, the all-singing/spinning/songwriting sistership of Sue McLaren and Suzanne Chesterton, sign off their second 2022 EP. And if there wasn’t quite enough ‘S’s in a sentence for you … well here’s another! ‘Seratonin’, the EP from which it’s all come has had one central theme, and that’s concerned matters of the heart. Following the progressively hypnotic ‘Always You’, ‘Nobody Loves Me’ and its thematic expansion ‘Piece Of My Love’, the EPs rounded off by feelings of an even more thought provoking nature ...

Siskin’s ‘Deeper Love’ completes ‘Seratonin’ today.

Scratch beneath its surface and you’ll see that Sue and Suzanne have done something both remarkably smart, but also remarkably balanced with the EP. While ‘Nobody’ and ‘Piece’ speak to its subject’s numerous upsides, both musically and lyrically, ‘Deeper Love’ heads further down ‘Always You’s not quite so sanguine road.

Its words speak to the pitfalls – both perceived and actual – of a relationship where emotions run unchecked … and feelings might just be out of control. “Can we survive a deeper love?” its song contemplates … and it’s a provocative question at that. Siskin mirrors the feel of the music with pensive breakbeats, mournful horns and equally brooding piano lines, while their gently modulating pads & chords hint at the hope of a rescued outcome.

A force to be reckoned with, Siskin wraps up the ‘Serotonin EP’ with ‘Deeper Love’ today. Find it through all good sales and streaming channels here

Tracklist:
01: Siskin ‘Always You’

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Siskin is definitely a duo that manage to attract the attention of the electronic music community straight away. With progressive house sensibilities and trance melodies their EP is a noteworthy sonic experience. Deeper Love moves on the same direction with deep pulsating basslines, dark moody atmosphere and great ethereal piano melodies. The breakdown includes a tripping out breaks section with the brilliant vocals until to move again in the climax that will please with its hypnotic melodies and whispering dark vocals that sounds like coming from the very depth of the ocean or even from faraway galaxies. Quality single to wrap up the must play EP. #PureGold Love IT [/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Freegrant Music goes melodic deep house and the result is just brilliant. LinBit brings the awesome Easy that in its original version is a melodic dreamy deep house track with organic percussion and great drum programming along with deep haunting basslines. Great memorable guitar riffs combined with vintage strings, xylophone melodies and piano chords along with the haunting female vocal makes this track a must for any deep house set. Max & Slow Fish deliver  a magnificent version that follows the original but in a more progressive trance direction with the guitar riff taking prominent place and great floating melodies along with melancholic pianos coming together to support the erotic moody vocal. Simply magic! #PureGold Love It [/content]

Following on from his successful Philthy Chit alias, Perfecto Black A&R Phil introduces his new alias Phil Martyn. Sticking to his trademark sound, Chamber has a dark driving bassline, progressing towards trance influenced riffs at the breakdown. Exactly what we’ve come to expect from Phil.

Next up we have the stunning, beautiful deep trance mix from Forerunners. It’s truly a masterpiece. Real prog done at it’s best. Warm basslines complemented by beautiful riffs and arps. Fans of Guy J & Guy Mantzur will love this track.

Last but definitely not least is the Derek Howell & Peter Martin Remix. It’s an epic, heads down on the dance floor tune. A dark progressive techno tune with some incredible key changes, this one will destroy any dance floor!

All 3 tracks fit the Black ethos perfectly, true progressive at it’s best.

 [item value="10"]Phil Martyn - Chamber[/item]
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Perfecto Black are back with a very classy release by Phil Martyn called Chamber. The original flavour is deep moody driving progressive trance with strong progressive house influences. Dark haunting atmosphere that lights up in the breakdown with some sunkissed synths and heavenly voices until the beat to strike back and take us all the way to the darkest and most unexplored sides of human soul. Forerunners name is guarantee for high class production values and the beloved artist once again proves how marvellous can turn anything he touches into gold. With bubbly basslines, tribal grooves, cinematic atmospheres and great melodic sounds along with the more dark and cold, he manages to deliver a journey of force that inspire and awake your creativity.  Last but not least Derek Howell & Peter Martin combine their forces for an excellent version that includes elements of progressive trance with techno boldness and psy trance tripping out edge. Melodic and spacious version with complex arrangement wonderful sounds that hypnotise your mind and transcend you to another galaxies. #PureGold Love It  [/content]

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Ohmna presents on Statement recordings the definitive sound of this top progressive label. Two incredible melodic tripping out trancers that will win those with eclectic taste and that don't like instant gratification. Full Moon  is a travelling tribalish progressive trancer with deep pulsating basslines, tribal grooves, heavenly trancy voices and warm strings while the synthy layers are hypnotising the audience to go deeper inside the sounds and melted into them. Amazone on the other side is more than 10 minutes long track that develops slowly and gradually in that Gai Barone deep moody brooding atmospheric trance style with great basslines, melodic progression and even psy trance influences. Great piano melodies, cinematic strings and great balearic trance touches.  If you dare to taste trance that manages to keep you dominated for long then this track will deliver a sonic experience that will open you doors to other places and spaces.  Forerunners ‘Lifecycle’ was originally released on Deep Blue Records way back in 2007. Label boss Solarstone pronounced it as his ‘favourite ever signing’. Fast forward 9 years and Solarstone has commisioned a selection of new mixes of this gem, one of which finds it’s way onto PTP as our 6th release. All the beautiful, subtle melodies are in place, but are embraced by a deep, flowing progressive production with sparse instrumentation & spacious construction. Late night listening for the discerning ear.
