Editorial update: 25-11-2024

Welcome to Flux BPM Online, the premier Electronic Music Culture Magazine.

Flux BPM Online is dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage of the diverse aspects of contemporary Electronic Music Culture. Our mission is to curate informative reviews of exceptional releases, engage in insightful interviews with renowned electronic music artists, and disseminate the latest news that resonates within the industry. Additionally, we offer engaging features designed to enhance your understanding and appreciation of the genre.

Beyond its editorial content, Flux BPM Online serves as a valuable platform for artists and record labels to showcase their creative endeavors. Our commitment extends to fostering the growth and development of Electronic Music Culture globally. We strive to present both major and independent record labels, ensuring equal representation and fostering a balanced perspective on the industry.

Flux BPM Online does not adopt a stance that favors underground or mainstream music. Instead, it reflects the editorial team’s musical preferences and hopes that our readers share similar tastes, values, and open-mindedness when discussing Electronic Music Culture, regardless of its source—major or independent.

For the most up-to-date information on the latest trends and developments in Electronic Music Culture, we highly recommend bookmarking this page and making it your primary reference.

Flux BPM Online, an Electronic Music Culture Magazine, is a dynamic and evolving publication. It remains a one-man endeavor, and the dedicated time and effort invested in updating each section with valuable and insightful information are truly commendable. Flux BPM Online expresses its sincere gratitude for your continued support and visits.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Google, Inc. and Blogger for providing this platform for global communication and fostering creativity within the electronic music industry. However, it is important to acknowledge that Flux BPM Online’s reliance on Blogger means that the magazine’s online presence can be temporarily suspended at Blogger’s discretion, subject to their established rules.

This unexpected turn of events can be frustrating, especially when dedicated efforts are made to maintain the magazine’s accessibility, only to encounter issues with Blogger’s access control. Despite the challenges, we remain hopeful that Blogger will continue to support this platform for many years, allowing us to continue sharing our passion for electronic music culture with our readers.

It is undeniable that this platform does not belong solely to Flux BPM Online, despite the countless hours and nights spent on its upkeep and maintenance. Nevertheless, we must recognize the invaluable contributions of the technical personnel at Google and Blogger, who work tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of this website and protect it from technical difficulties, failures, and malicious attacks.

We express our deepest gratitude to these unsung heroes without the opportunity to personally acknowledge their efforts. We appreciate the space and opportunity they provide to showcase the essence of electronic music culture and empower individuals to unleash their creative potential and become publishers without financial backing.

Flux BPM Online is updated as frequently as possible. The primary reason for the delay in updates is the difficulty in finding suitable financial support for Flux BPM Online. Therefore, if you have read these lines and believe you can offer suggestions on how Flux BPM Online could be financially supported, Flux BPM Online would be delighted to hear from you. Any form and amount of donation, for example, is very welcome, particularly from public relations companies that believe the exposure of their clients via this page will be beneficial to them. Please note that the positive coverage is based solely on the personal knowledge and taste of the contributors, so nothing can interfere with their opinions. However, your support for the quality of the music journalism offered on Flux BPM Online and your acknowledgment of its value for your career and your artists are greatly appreciated.

Despite the absence of financial rewards for many years, I have added a donation button to allow you to donate any amount via PayPal. I am uncertain whether the electronic dance music community can currently afford to donate, as everyone struggles with daily expenses and endeavors to keep their companies operational despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Thank you in advance for considering supporting us. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require any publicity assistance. I am pleased to announce that I can offer the writing of press release texts for your releases. Please reach out to me, and I will be more than happy to provide my services.

Kindly ensure that you regularly monitor Flux BPM Online. If you find any article or feature particularly engaging, please consider sharing it on your social media platforms. “Sharing is caring.” Flux BPM Online endeavors to review as many exceptional tracks as possible, but this is an arduous task, as 24 hours are never sufficient. Please exercise patience when requesting reviews, interviews, or features.

Additionally, we encourage you to follow Flux BPM Online on X, Facebook, Instagram to stay informed about our latest posts and avoid missing any valuable content.

For record labels, artists, and PR agencies, it is imperative to follow Flux BPM Online to maintain open communication and explore potential collaborations.

If you are an artist or record label, please re-tweet any tweet messages directed at the label or your artists. It is disheartening to witness Flux BPM Online’s dedication to publishing articles, only to have them disregarded by the labels or artists who could potentially benefit from them. This neglect extends to Facebook as well. If you are an artist mentioned on Flux BPM Online, kindly include a link to the review, interview, or feature on your page to facilitate access for your audience.

It is deeply disappointing when artists or record labels fail to acknowledge or promote the interviews they have participated in. Flux BPM Online maintains a positive and constructive approach, publishing only reviews of exceptional tracks. It is unethical to publish negative reviews solely for the purpose of generating discussion or buzz on social media. Flux BPM Online does not intend to be negative; rather, it aims to foster meaningful conversations and provide valuable insights. Ultimately, artists invest significant time and emotional energy into their productions, and Flux BPM Online holds this respect and value highly. Therefore, it is unethical to publish negative comments that may cause unnecessary stress or distress, especially considering that music is deeply personal and influenced by cultural background. Flux BPM Online’s primary objective is to facilitate open dialogue and stimulate thoughtful consideration. It is crucial to acknowledge that music is a highly subjective form of art, evoking diverse feelings, experiences, and interpretations among individuals. This is particularly evident in electronic music, where the absence of lyrics allows for an infinite range of readings and responses. This freedom is a significant draw for many people who find solace and inspiration in electronic music.

The Mixcloud page includes updates with brand new shows to enjoy, so please visit our page there. Please share your thoughts about Flux BPM radio shows, and we would appreciate your feedback on how we can improve them.

Important Notice 6: Flux BPM Online radio shows, Flux BPM On The Move, Flux House Anthems Only and Trance Anthology were exclusively streamed on 1mix radio. Flux BPM Online would like to express its sincere gratitude to the exceptional and inspiring owner of 1mix radio, Mr. Paul Aldridge, for granting us the opportunity to host these shows. In 2024, we are delighted to announce that Evosonic Radio in Cologne, Germany, has incorporated our radio shows into their online radio station. This expansion provides us with enhanced exposure for our radio shows, which have been meticulously crafted with passion and dedication for many years. Our unwavering objective remains to curate the finest tracks released, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of the music industry.

To facilitate this endeavor, we kindly request that you provide us with promotional copies of your latest releases. These promos will enable us to consider including your shows in our radio show rotation or for review on our website.

It is imperative to emphasize that Flux BPM Online is not directly affiliated, financially supported, or influenced by 1mix radio and Evosonic. We are separate entities, and the primary bond that unites them is mutual respect and an unwavering passion for exceptional electronic music. This clarification is essential to dispel any misunderstandings or confusion regarding the connection between Flux BPM Online, 1mix radio, and Evosonic Radio.
