Snowbombing - the world’s no.1 music festival on snow – today unveils the acts set to play at The Arctic Disco, including Fatboy Slim, Hannah Wants and Kerri Chandler.

Set atop Mayrhofen’s mighty Ahorn mountain, the Snowbombing Arctic Disco is one of the world’s most unique party venues. Opening up proceedings on Monday 4th April is Snowbombing favourite Nic Fanciulli. The Saved Music head celebrated the label’s 10th year in 2015 and with over a decade of dancefloor gems to choose from and his impeccable selection skills, the Arctic Disco is in safe hands as he ascends to deliver a masterclass in mountain-top tech house. DJ, producer and Purp & Soul Records co-owner Ben Pearce also stars.

Tuesday 5th April sees DC10 regular and all round house hero Kerri Chandler get behind the decks, ready to bring the heat to the igloo with an unforgettable Kaoz Theory party. Bringing soulful grooves galore with forgotten classics, deep basslines, lush synths and addictively catchy vocals, this party is sure to be off the hook. Special guest Heidi joins him on the 1s and 2s.

From one of the scene’s pioneers to one of the most talked about acts today, Hannah Wants takes control of The Arctic Disco on Wednesday 6th April. Having dominated the airwaves, not to mention many a dancefloor, over recent years with her trademark bass-heavy sound, Wants is ready to impress as she makes her igloo debut Joined by Bristol duo My Nu Leng this is one unmissable night of revelry.

It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for… Fatboy Slim makes his triumphant return to The Arctic Disco for a special All Night Long session on Thursday 7th April! Where else but Snowbombing could you arrive by cable car to a club made entirely of snow to witness one of electronic music’s biggest ever stars perform to an intimate crowd of just 300 people? Feet will be thumping as the Brighton beatmaster delivers yet another show-stopping performance.

Snowbombing adds another avalanche of acts to the already jam-packed bill, including Fatboy Slim, Sven Väth, Skepta, Slaves, Black Coffee, Sam Feldt, Mind Against and more! The new acts will join headliners including The Prodigy, Bastille, Jungle, Netsky, Andy C and Jamie Jones at the world’s No.1 music festival on snow, which takes place from 4th – 9th April 2016, in the picturesque alpine town of Mayrhofen in Austria.

Fatboy Slim will return to the mountains for a headline set at Snowbombing 2016! Brighton’s favourite beatmaster took control of The Racket Club at SB15 to serve out one of the best sets of the festival. Brimming with hits like Right Here Right Now and Praise You, it also demonstrated the superstar DJ’s return to form with 2014’s chart-topping Eat Sleep Rave Repeat and his killer remix of Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk. With his new project Smile High Club, headline festival sets around the world and even a surprise DJ set at Banksy’s Dismaland, it’s been a phenomenal year for the big beat pioneer and his performance at Snowbombing 2016 is guaranteed to be another show-stopper.

Next up, and swapping the White Isle of Ibiza for the white peaks of the ‘Hof for his debut Snowbombing performance, it’s Sven Väth! Few artists have built a legacy as far-reaching and influential as techno luminary Väth. One of dance music's most colourful characters, his legendary Cocoon parties at Amnesia continue to be a mecca for partygoers all around the world. With his outlandish on-stage antics and boundless enthusiasm, Papa Sven’s snowbombing debut is sure to be unmissable.

Snowbombing 2016 also welcomes Skepta! Since his 2007 debut album, Greatest Hits, MC and producer Joseph Junior Adenuga, AKA Skepta, has continued to lead the charge for the London grime scene. Throw-back anthem “That’s Not Me” propelled him back into the limelight last year, closely followed by Shutdown, which won best song at the 2015 MOBO Awards. And when it comes to live shows, there’s no-one more commanding on the mic. From the moment he steps on stage at SB16, Skeppy’s uncompromising sound and lyrical energy are guaranteed to get the entire crowd jumping.

Another act making their fist appearance on the Mayrhofen mountains are BBC’s Sound Of 2015 nominees Slaves. The punk duo from Kent never fail to attract a swarming moshpit, with their pop-rock choruses, memorable guitar riffs and rapid-fire vocals, on knockout tracks like White Knuckle Ride, The Hunter and Live Like an Animal.

When it comes to house music, South African DJ Black Coffee’s soul-drenched house vibes will be the perfect pick me up after a day on the slopes, along with sets from Citizenn, Dirtybird’s Justin Martin, Spinnin Records' Sam Feldt and Dutch duo Chocolate Puma. Also announced today are acts including Chris Lorenzo, Doorly, Droog, Mele, Mind Against, Shy FX’s Party on the Moon and everybody’s favourite mischief makers The Cuban Brothers. With more names added and lots still to be announced Snowbombing 2016 is shaping up to be the most incredible year yet.

Snowbombing - the world’s No.1 music festival on snow - has unveiled the second wave of its 2016 lineup, including Bastille, Craig David’s TS5, Jamie Jones and Mark Ronson (DJ). The stellar selection of acts revealed today will join The Prodigy, Jungle, Netsky, Groove Armada, Oliver Heldens, Marcel Dettmann, Hot Since 82 and many more in the snowy town of Mayrhofen in Austria, from 4th-9th April 2016.

Nestled in a breath-taking alpine setting with snow-capped vistas, Snowbombing boasts the most awe-inspiring festival venues in the world; from a mountaintop igloo 6,000 feet above sea level, to enchanted forest clearings, cosy alpine lodges, atmospheric medieval barns, and an impressive selection of après ski bars and clubs.

Brit-award winning indie-pop maestros Bastille are set to headline one of the legendary Forest parties. Said lead singer Dan Smith: “We can't wait to head to the mountains for Snowbombing 2016. The lineup looks great and it's a festival we've always wanted to go to. Playing a gig and hanging out in the Alps... it’s going to be awesome!”.

Boosting the already phenomenal DJ line-up is Craig David. Fifteen years on from his debut album ‘Born to Do It’, the UK Garage hero has been making waves on the dance scene once again, with his weekly his TS5 radio show on Capital Xtra, a knock-out carnival show performing alongside Skrillex and Sean Paul, not to mention a much-talked about appearance on Kurupt FM where he went laid down an outstanding a cappella of Fill Me In over Jack Ü’s Where Are Ü Now. Joining him at the top of the DJ bill is Hot Creations label head and Paradise founder Jamie Jones, who’ll be bringing a slice of White Isle magic to the mountains.

It’s been almost five years since revered soul producer and one-man hit machine Mark Ronson made his first appearance at Snowbombing but finally the multi-talented musician, singer, songwriter and producer makes a welcome return His Uptown Funk single and Uptown Special album saw him score his first UK charts number 1 double in 2015, and the scene is set for him to indulge in his first love - spinning records - at Snowbombing 2016, as he steps up for a much-anticipated DJ set.

The Martinez Brothers and German ‘Super House’ duo Andhim also join the bill, along with Numbers' founding father (and one of Glasgow’s finest exports) Jackmaster, Danny Daze and Mobilee mainstays Anja Schneider and Rodriguez Jr. They’ll be joined by acts including Andrea Oliva, Nic Fanciulli and Sebo K, plus hip-hop and grime master MistaJam and fellow BBC Radio 1 Friday night tastemaker B-Traits.

Last but not least, the irrepressible Mr. Idris Elba, who proved to be a smash at last year’s festival, will be heading back to the mountains for his second stint behind the decks at Snowbombing!
