Dutch electronic music icon Hardwell has officially announced his return to the United States this September with a three-city tour, driven entirely by fan demand. Thousands of fans across the country voted for where they wanted him to perform, and the response was nothing short of overwhelming. As a result, Hardwell will bring his most intimate US shows in over two years to Washington, D.C., New York City, and Los Angeles. In return, he’s set to deliver a high-impact live experience, promising an unforgettable night built on connection, energy, and a shared love for the music.
The tour will see the Revealed label boss take over three of the country’s most iconic fan-favorite venues: Echostage in Washington, Terminal 5 in NYC, and Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. Each show promises a euphoric and high-energy showcase of Hardwell’s current evolution as an electronic artist.
Renowned for redefining the boundaries of electronic music, Hardwell’s upcoming US dates will feature unreleased material, custom stage design, and an immersive visual experience tailored to each venue. Fans can expect a high-energy fusion of his signature mainstage techno sound, reworked classics from his back catalog, and brand-new IDs hot off the summer festival circuit.
Speaking about the tour, Hardwell said: “I’ve been waiting for the right moment to return with something special for my US fans. I wanted to create a run of shows that feel personal, powerful, and unforgettable. So, I threw it out to you guys to vote for your favorite destinations, and the response was honestly crazy. Whether your city made the final cut or not, I truly appreciate everyone who took the time to vote and be part of this. So now, let’s do this.”
Hardwell’s influence on the global dance scene is undisputed. From his rise to 2 x World Number 1 DJ, producer, and label boss to his bold shift toward Big Room Techno, he has helped shape the modern sound of electronic music. Landmark releases like his REBELS NEVER DIE album, and standout singles including ‘Follow The Light’, ‘No Sleep’, ‘ACID’, and ‘Sanctuary’ have further solidified his reputation as a visionary in the genre.
A fixture on main stages at Ultra Music Festival, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Tomorrowland, Hardwell has also sold out some of the world’s most legendary venues, including Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, London’s Brixton Academy, and New York’s Madison Square Garden. But for Hardwell, every performance is more than a set; he approaches each show as a storyteller, using music to connect, inspire, and uplift. An ethos he brings to his US tour this September!
Fans are encouraged to sign up via Hardwell’s official channels for early access and presale registration.
Dutch electronic titan Hardwell lit up Ultra Music Festival Miami last month with the debut of his latest single, ‘Sanctuary’. Unveiled as the powerful opener to his main stage set, the track instantly captivated the crowd with its progressive melodic energy and trance-tinged euphoria. This sound perfectly embodies Hardwell’s ever-evolving mainstage style.
This year’s appearance marked Hardwell’s 11th performance on Ultra’s iconic Main Stage, and it proved to be one for the history books. The set was packed with both unreleased gems and a catalogue of classic Hardwell anthems, alongside a host of festival favourites that kept the energy at peak level from start to finish.
‘Sanctuary’ stands as a significant chapter in Hardwell’s ongoing artistic evolution. Offering a subtle departure from his recent techno-inspired direction, the track leans into emotive melodies and uplifting builds, driven by a dynamic arrange ment that nods to his mainstage foundation while drawing inspiration from the melodic depths of trance.
Speaking about the new single, Hardwell shared: “Over the past few months, I found myself diving more and more into melodic structures and playing around with different soundscapes. Out of all the projects I was working on, ‘Sanctuary’ was one I just couldn’t let go of. It’s not quite a full trance track, but it definitely pulls in elements from that genre, which I love.”
Fans can relive the moment and experience ‘Sanctuary’ live by watching Hardwell’s complete Ultra 2025 set on YouTube.
Adding to the celebrations inMiami, Hardwell and fellow Dutch icon Armin van Buuren were honoured with the news that their 2024 collaboration ‘Follow The Light’ had won ‘Best Mainstage Song of the Year’ at the EDMA Awards. A fitting accolade for a track from two of the scene’s biggest pioneers.
Hardwell ‘Sanctuary’ is out now via Revealed Recordings.
Global dance music icons Armin van Buuren and Hardwell are back together for the first time in nearly a decade with the eagerly awaited track, 'Follow The Light'.
Following their 2015 collaboration 'Off the Hook', which became a global hit with over 100 million streams, the two superstars fuse their respective styles once again, blending Armin's signature euphoric trance melodies with Hardwell's cutting-edge big-room techno to deliver a powerful festival anthem that will undeniably thrill fans. Already a popular track in both artists' sets throughout 2024, the legendary pair teased the collaboration earlier this year during a special back-to-back set at A State of Trance Rotterdam, sparking a frenzy of excitement from fans both at the event and online.
Although the two have shared many stages and performed back-to-back several times, the official release of 'Follow The Light' marks only their second studio collaboration. The release is set to provide another euphoric surge of energy for fans of Armin van Buuren and Hardwell.
Armin van Buuren, a five-time winner of the Top 100 DJs poll, is no stranger to pushing boundaries. Known for his genre-defining weekly radio show A State of Trance - listened to by over 40 million fans worldwide - Armin has been a trailblazer in the electronic dance music scene for over two decades. His vast discography includes chart-topping hits, high-profile collaborations with artists such as David Guetta and Teddy Swims, and headlining performances at the world's premier festivals.
Fellow collaborator Hardwell is another giant in the electronic music realm, having made an unmistakable mark on the industry. A former No. 1 DJ (2013, 2014) himself, Hardwell is known for his hit anthems and celebrated remixes for artists like David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Coldplay. His 2024 transition to Big Room Techno marked a pivotal chapter in his career, highlighted by the release of his second studio album, REBELS NEVER DIE. Following singles like 'I'm The Devil', 'XTC', '16', 'The Abyss', 'Move', and 'Acid' have further cemented his reputation, alongside headline performances at the biggest festivals. 2024 also saw the return of his iconic radio show, Hardwell On Air, reigniting the airwaves for millions of fans worldwide.
With 'Follow The Light' becoming a staple in both artists' sets throughout 2024, fan anticipation for an official release has been palpable. Now, with the imminent release of 'Follow The Light', it is poised to be another crowd-pleasing anthem destined to illuminate airwaves, playlists, and dancefloors globally, igniting even more excitement.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Armin van Buuren and Hardwell collaboration was highly anticipated and finally is out on Revealed Recordings. Follow The Light combines the well known styles of both artists by delivering an essential mainstage trance anthem. 6 minutes of energetic pleasure with heavy driving basslines, dominating kick, pounding drums and of course huge euphoric synthy hook along with the cool pitched female vocal. With certain nostalgic touch and even hard style section Follow The Light is destined to win the fans of both artists and get multiple plays from their DJ colleagues. After bookending his earlier sound in 2018, Hardwell closed off one chapter in his career in preparation for the next. His resurgence over the past couple of years, since his historic set at Miami's Ultra Music Festival in 2022, has seen the globally renowned artist deliver his second studio album, REBELS NEVER DIE, and usher in a new era for one of electronic music's biggest stars. Armed with the new 14-track album, Hardwell returned to touring in 2022 with a 24-date world tour headlining arena shows and festivals that included Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Ultra Europe, Soundstorm Festival, Ushuaïa Ibiza, Untold Festival, Creamfields and Tomorrowland. More recently, Hardwell's maintained a tapestry of projects that include a selection of remixes for David Guetta / Benny Benassi's rework of “Satisfaction” and Calvin Harris' “Miracle” (featuring Ellie Golding). Hardwell has also released a string of new singles and collaborations with artists such as Maddix, Space 92, Timmy Trumpet, Azteck/Alex Hepburn, Will Sparks, and Nicky Romero. After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, Hardwell recently announced the return of his popular radio program, 'Hardwell On Air.' The program, previously a mainstay in the dance music scene, will be returning to delight fans everywhere.
Maddix, Linka and Gregor Potter unite to produce big room euphoria on ‘Thrill’, utilising hints of more techno-inspired sounds in and around the drops.
The trio combine their styles effortlessly on ‘Thrill’, seamlessly transitioning between sounds and genres throughout. Initially, the track is vibrant and light-hearted, however the sonic profile of this song transforms in to a more industrial and heavy-hitting sound as it progresses towards its climax. A big room style drop that is exclaimed by a combination of synth and bassline that could even be described as hardstyle.

Close to six months ago, electronic dance pioneer Hardwell surprised fans around the globe with a return show at Ultra Music Festival in Miami and the announcement of a new album and world tour. Now, following weeks of waterfall releases, Hardwell makes the whole ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ album available worldwide to enjoy in its entirety.
Featuring entirely solo material, the arrival of 'REBELS NEVER DIE' ushers in a new era for one of electronic music's biggest known stars. Including goosebump-inducing singles like 'BROKEN MIRROR', 'INTO THE UNKNOWN', and 'BLACK MAGIC', alongside the seismic club bangers' GODD', 'LASER' and 'PACMAN', fans have been given a chance to dive headfirst into Hardwell's creative mind.
Hardwell's sabbatical opened up the opportunity to commit more focus in the studio for artist discovery. He used this time to explore complete creative freedom, playing with new ideas and making new music with no real plan. Back to the music he used to listen to as a child, rediscovering his old vinyl collection, Hardwell was inspired to make his new album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE'. The result is a solo studio album that combines the music he started with, early trance riffs, and the energy of his big room sounds, all built around a techno-esque musical structure.
"I hate to be caught up in one particular genre. I always try to make music I love to play out. I don't consider myself a mainstream artist, techno, or big room artist, I just consider myself Hardwell, and this is what Hardwell is. If it's not a genre, then it's not a genre; it's just me."
Always a leader with a quest to evolve, not repeat. REBELS NEVER DIE is a critical point in the musical shift for Hardwell's legacy as one of dance music's most iconic figures.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Hardwell is back not only as recording artist but also as DJ. His performances in all the big summer festivals were success and the crowd welcomed him back with great warmth. His album Rebels Never Die is a powerful club focused project with tracks that all can be played and enjoyed in huge loud systems. With techno fat basslines in most of them with thumping kicks and massive euphoric synths with nice vocals and exceptional drops Hardwell deliver one fat club burner to the other keeping the listener jumping and pumping around in your car while you drive towards your favourite club to your living room that you will turn it into a global dancefloor. Of course the fans of the mainstage progressive big room sound will find tracks on the album that will satisfy their hunger for distorted electro synthy lines and energetic driving basslines to keep the sweat dropping all over the place. I love the fact that is an album to be played loud and proud and is pretty rebellious as it breaks boundaries and bridges styles and genres very creatively in fresh direction. Welcome back Hardwell. Love IT [/content]
Never have words described an Electronic Music duo as accurately as these duo Qulinez. Steve Aoki used the phrase to refer to the unrivalled power of their sound and it infallibly marks the way in which they hit the scene time and time again.
Starting the onslaught of the Swedish duo in 2012, international floor smasher ‘Troll’ soon saw its waves turn into tsunamis through the tireless dedication of long-time friends Alexander Lager & Johannes Gustafsson. From forging hard-hitting main stage devastator ‘Hookah’ to crafting up radio-friendly Sirius XM BPM Breaker ‘Rising Like A Sun’ and every other dance floor cracker, Qulinez – pronounced Que-Lines – have turned the world into their personal playground, getting signed to Steve Angello’s Size Records in the process. Their musical outpouring landed them prime-time spots at the world’s key festivals, events, and venues, including Ministry Of Sound, Marquee New York, Creamfields, and the main stage of Tomorrowland.
As their on-stage energy that can be easily traced back to the root of their sound, it’s no wonder that these guys have been drafted in for a bunch of heavy-duty remixes. Consistently standing out in the world’s best live sets with their full-throttle creations caught the eye of industry hotshots such as Calvin Harris, Dash Berlin, Paul van Dyk, and Don Diablo, who insisted on getting the Qulinez treatment. The world’s leading record labels quickly caught on to the prowess of the duo and that’s where the saga of Qulinez enters the next chapter.
Having signed exclusively to Amsterdam-based record company Armada Music in 2016, Qulinez are to leave ecstatic crowds and torn-down main stages in their wake wherever they venture. How to describe their ongoing, astronomic rise, you ask? “Hard and heavy.”
1) Best online social media for 2018 and why you believe is the best particularly in 2018?:
Qulinez: Instagram cuz its more funny to see a picture instead of just text status
2) Best Twitter/Facebook/Instagram message you may have received about your music or your DJ performance in 2018:
Qulinez: Instagram
3) Best music composition software in 2018, please explain why you appreciate it so much:
Qulinez: We just use FL Studio its like out homebase
4) Best Club event or Festival that you have performed there or you would love one day to perform there, please explain the reasons that influenced your choice of the event & festival:
Qulinez: Ruby Skye in San Francisco, XS Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.
5) Your Best personal DJ Gig for 2018 (if you are active as DJ) and why you believe is the finest:
Qulinez: Revealed Party ADE
6) Best DJ set from other fellow DJ in 2018 and why you believe his/her set was so fantastic?:
Qulinez: It must been Hardwell's last show.
7) Best Radio station in 2018, please explain why this radio station is your favourite:
Qulinez: Siriusxm cuz they play that kind of music we like.
8) Best music related website that you visit frequently, please explain what you exactly appreciate in this web site and you may recommended to your fans as well:
Qulinez: Think Youtube is the best if you wanna check music video, tutorial and stuff like that.
Dimitris: In 2018 the electronic music talent AVICII died and this has alerted several artists to become more health conscious. Are there any lessons to learn as an artist out from this sad event?
Qulinez: Yes, Many people today suffer from anxiety, depression or other forms of mental health. We think people talk too little about it or that it is a shame to talk about it. We need to be more open minded and listen to people who feel bad. Very sad story about Avicii.
Dimitris: Can you mention briefly your plans for your future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, DJ gigs for 2019!
Qulinez: We will release as much tracks as we can and hopefully 2019 will be an awesome year.
Dimitris: Finally, what is your biggest wish for 2019 and give us your wishes for our readers?
Qulinez: Out biggest wish for 2019 would be to get a big tour again and produce new music
Thanks to Qulinez for their answers! Thanks to Onno at DVK Management for arranging this interview.

On Thursday 18 October 2018 Hardwell will host a unique concert with the Metropole Orkest at Amsterdam’s iconic Ziggo Dome. During ‘Symphony: The Global Revolution of Dance’, the world-famous DJ, together with the world’s leading pop & jazz orchestra, will take the audience on a musical journey through the history of dance music. An all ages concert that starts with the rise of dance music in the 80’s and ends with the mega hits of today. The pre-sale for this one-off show during Amsterdam Dance Event starts on Friday, June 15th at 10am CET, with the worldwide ticket sale opening on June 18th at 10am via www.djhardwell.com/symphony.
Hardwell and the multiple Grammy Award winning Metropole Orkest, recently announced their collaboration with the release of the track ‘Conquerors’. With the addition of this unique concert for an all-age audience, the collaboration reaches a high point that can be seen and heard live at the Ziggo Dome. The spectacular show of the legendary DJ and the Metropole Orchestra is characterized by the composition of different music periods, from the 80s to the present. Hits will include various world stars from Donna Summer to Tiësto and Carl Cox to Daft Punk.
“With this show a dream comes true. Together with the Metropole Orkest, which is the most versatile orchestra in the world, I have created something special in which the audience can not only enjoy a musical spectacle, but also visually see something unprecedented.", says Hardwell.
Director Jan Geert Vierkant of the Metropole Orkest about the collaboration: “It is great to have a large audience get acquainted with various styles of dance over the years in combination with the orchestra with a world talent like Hardwell. In the past we have already showed at ADE and recently with the released track ‘Conquerors’ how great this fusion can be. We are therefore very proud of this special collaboration.”
Richard Zijlma, Director ADE about the cross over: “At ADE, we always look for the limits of the electronic spectrum. The collaboration between Hardwell and the Metropole Orkest is a good addition in that respect and I am convinced that it will also be successful, because Hardwell is not only a DJ, but also an excellent composer. I think it’s wonderful that music can join forces in this way, doing justice to the ‘legacy’ of all those years of incredible dance music.”
