When Aaron ‘Fonzerelli’ McClelland debuted back in ’06, he did so in about the biggest way imaginable. Through Tiesto’s ‘In Search Of Sunrise 5: Los Angeles’ album and the Dutchman’s weekly Clublife radio show, ‘Moonlight Party’ broke in a major way, turning it into a European chart hit.


The irresistible groove that sits behind it has barely dated a day since, but that hasn’t stopped Fonzerelli teaming up with Kryder to give ‘Moonlight Party’ a remodelling!

‘Moonlight’ bounces back in two distinct flavours, with F & K’s new Extended Mix dropping some knowingly-retro Todd Terry-ish kick ‘n’ hi-hat business, before the bass and its naggingly infectious pianos take charge. One drop of its haunting “dance till sunrise” vocal hook and you’ll be straight back to those more innocent of clubfloor times!


 


A nod to the track’s enduring appeal, Kryder and Aaron’s have also fashioned a ‘Fan Favourite OG Mix’, which brings that thumping piano loop right to the forefront of the production. Filters, phasers and all those early Axwell ‘n’ Prydzy-type feels will have the floor “dancing in the moonlight” and “waiting for the sunrise” all over again.

UK-hailing Matt Guy has spent the past two years honing a ‘90s-nostalgia-infused sound, attracting the attention of dance music tastemakers at home and beyond. With ‘Every Little Time’, his latest output on Armada Music, the DJ and producer solidifies his position as a front-runner in the global house scene.


Prompted by a deep-dive into ‘90s samples, Matt Guy’s fourth release on Armada Music offers the signature nostalgia the world of dance music has come to expect from the Nottingham-born DJ and producer. From the trademark square wave synth that outlines his artistic output to the luring build and vocal sampled from Poppers Presents Aura’s trance-leaning 1998 track of the same title, ‘Every Little Time’ has the euphoric profile to drive the contemporary house crowd into clubbing season with a profound “let’s get ravey!”
“In 2019, after seeing Marco Carola and Carl Cox in Ibiza doing a back-to-back set, I started digging through lots of ‘90s samples,” Matt Guy explained. “After spending hours and hours on YouTube, I stumbled upon ‘Every Little Time’. The vocal was an instant earworm, so I got in touch with Poppers Presents Aura, who were – luckily – excited by the idea of me cooking up some new ideas for the vocal and reworking the track. I love how old-school and ravey this track sounds, and I can’t wait for the world to have it.”
Off the back of garnering support from heavyweights including Solomun, Adam Beyer, CamelPhat, Gorgon City and many more, this track is already firmly on the wish lists of fans and DJs alike.

You'll already be familiar with Imani William’s incredible voice when she featured on Sigala's chart smash 'Say You Do' earlier this year. Now she is releasing her own debut single ‘Don’t Need No Money’ featuring Sigala and Blonde, available now impacting 19th August.

Having reached the top five as a collaborator on ‘Say You Do’, 16 year old Imani Williams is a true pop star in the making.  The half Bajan teenager, who attended the Brit School, started dancing at the age of 8 and wrote her first song aged 10. She’s got pop in her veins and has already been compared to the likes of TLC, Rihanna and Ariana Grande.

British house producers Scott Forshaw & Greg Stainer have teamed up for a monster of a record in the form of the vocal/deep house masterpiece ‘Drug of Choice’. Comfortably bridging the house and pop worlds, the song features vocals from regular Somn’thing Records collaborator Mickey Shiloh.

Remixes on the package include Scott & Greg’s alternative, down & dirty take (in the form of the ‘Forstain VIP Mix’), Walka, and label head honchos (and Scott’s other alter-ego in partnership with David Newsum) Somn3um.

Scott Forshaw is one of the talented group of fast-rising DJ/producers hailing from Leeds, UK. His sound is instantly recognisable: bass infused House including 90s R&B and Garage references with a hard-hitting groove. It’s this infectious sound which caught the eye of Armada, signing him up in late 2015. Scott’s label credits include the likes of Universal, Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, 3Beat, Toolroom and many more.

Greg Stainer has made waves in the dance scene as one half of the multi award winning duo HOLLAPHONIC, as well as a solo artist. His achievements include multiple gold discs, iTunes #1s and over a million YouTube views. Based in Dubai, the producer has also achieved a top 10 position in DJ Magazine's Middle East & North Africa poll. He’s had support from some of the most influential names in the business including Tiesto, Roger Sanchez, Groove Armada, Mark Knight, Alex Gaudino, Sister Bliss, Axwell, and Erick Morillo. 

‘Drug of Choice’ is the next instalment from Somn’thing Records, the label set up by Somn3um earlier this year. The stable has been releasing a slew of top-quality house tracks since its inception in January, and is well and truly blazing its own trail into the summertime. Superb electronic Ibiza style organ melody, deep techy warm grooves, bubbly basslines and excellent female vocals that work perfectly together for a brilliant result that is relaxing, smooth and perfect to dance along in deep dancefloors and daytime radio shows. The lyrics are surprisingly deep and meaningful away from the classic Oh Baby style of vocal lines. The only drawback is that is very short so I would prefer the package to include extended and handy dub or instrumental version as well! Dark driving haunting basslines, pounding drums, moody dark atmosphere and some vintage old school elements as well. The piano chords stay at the background and drive the track forward without becoming prominent. The breakdown includes some old school vintage sounds that build the tension that lead the track to the main full on section. Electronic synths, dark moody basslines, sub bass that you can feel from head to toe and high-nrg disco infused atmosphere. Just before Jakob Häglsperger’s debut album under his moniker Kalipo sees the light of day, the Berlin based Antime label is proud to present to you a teaser in form of a digital single set to be released on July 18. “Yaruto” not only gave the album its title, but is also the centrepiece of the abstract narrative that Häglsperger was trying to stretch out over its ten tracks on which he worked almost autonomously for over a year. It combines all the distinctive elements of Kalipo’s sound: Disembodied, chopped up vocals, warm basslines and polyrhythmic structures.

With his epic 12 minute long remix, Midimúm alias Martin Steer takes the track’s danceability one step further. Steer – who not only runs Antime but has also been one of Häglsperger’s closest friends since their teenage days and has been sharing with him production and songwriting duties in the German Electropunk outfit Frittenbude for almost a decade now – explores his passion for Dub Techno and droney, synth-laden Electronica to make “Yaruto” fit for peak time hours.

On top of that, the digital bundle also includes “Andrewsarchus”, a track inspired by a lively reconstruction of the prehistoric mammal of the same name which Häglsperger once saw in the dinosaur-themed recreation park Germendorf in Eastern Germany. With its distorted analogue synth lines, flaring drones and throbbing beats, the tracks pays a claustrophobic homage to the extinct animal that is generally assumed to be a predator or scavenger.

Kalipo’s debut album Yaruto will be released on September 12th. It will be followed by at least one complimentary single and various videos created by no-one else but Jakob Häglsperger himself.

The original mix  is a modern uplifting house smasher with pulsating techy beats, funky playful basslines, guitar licks and superb electro pop style vocal samples that work like a treat to increase the impact of this infectious smasher. When you dance along with this body banger There's No Stopping for sure. The well known Spanish dj & producer Peter Brown is rocking the soundsystem with his old school infused tech house version with warm relaxing atmosphere in the breakdown to relax your senses followed by intense build up and full on hands in the air climax with old school organ riffs and siren sound effects as well. It has the sexy Spanish groove to dance the night away like there is no tomorrow and transfer you straight away under the limelight of Ibiza worldwide famous club nights. Last but not least is the always impressive Dave Kurtis who has the flair to transform anything he touches into a huge club underground club cracker that will explode in any crowded dancefloor near you. On his very well crafted version he follows the bouncy tech house  direction with massive sub bass effects in the breakdown that the funky guitar riff and the cool vocal sample are applied to increase its impact on the dnacefloor.
